Thirteen by Nina Auril, Abby Gale (13)

Avalon

Flint gets the key from the receptionist while I wait for him outside, away from the lights so no one can see the blood on me. That guy’s blood has dried on my legs, I scratch it as I wait for Flint. Finally, he walks toward me with a sexy smile on his face. He gets more and more confident, I like the cockiness he has in his eyes and the smirk that shows a small dimple in his cheek. My lips are still tingling from the kiss he gave me back in the diner and I bite my lip, remembering the hungry look when we took out those bitches.

“Let’s get you cleaned up,” he murmurs, wrapping his arm around my shoulders as he guides me into our room. Room 13. I snort.

Pointing out the number I ask, “Is this coincidence?”

He beams at me. “Nope, this time I asked.”

The room is simple with a twin bed, a dresser, and TV. The sheets on the bed look clean, but I’m not sure if we’ll stay for the night. I turn to ask him, but I get distracted as the orange light from the nightstand casts a spotlight on Flint.

“Have I ever mentioned how hot you look in that leather jacket?”

His eyes jerk toward me, raw lust shining in their depths. He stalks toward me in two big steps and stands close enough for our chests to touch. “You find me hot?”

I smirk, trail an invisible path on his chest with my finger. “Like fire.”

He grabs my hips, leaning into me till his lips brush mine. “Shower. Now.”

I clench my thighs from his stern voice, it turns me on beyond description. I walk backward, slowly unbuttoning my shirt as he watches me. His jaw ticks, his eyes roam over every inch of naked skin I reveal. My bra follows my shirt and the skirt joins the heap of clothes. He takes a step toward me when I finally stand naked in front of him and I take a step back. He tries to touch me, but I enter the shower and quirk my eyebrow at him.

With a smirk he takes off his t-shirt, revealing his tattoo covered chest. My breath hitches in my throat, my lips part in wonder at the art in front of me. Because of the clothes, I couldn’t make out his tattoos before, but now I can see them all clearly. All of the lines on his arms are barbed wires, surrounded with flames, some are blue and some are red with orange shadows. I follow those wires and swallow when I see those wires are holding a dragon on his sternum. The dragon looks angry, strong, and dangerous; I’m not even sure if those wires are holding it captive or just failing miserably. The dragon is protecting his heart which is bleeding, burning, shattered.

“Flint,” I whisper. My eyes are filled with tears.

He bows his head, looking at his feet for a second. When he lifts his eyes I don’t know which is brighter, the fire in his tattoos or the fire in his eyes. I hold my breath as he enters the small space of the shower next to me, our bodies are flush together. His big palms cradle my face and he kisses me desperately, hungrily, roughly. My lips are bruised by his teeth grazing them, my lungs need air after his long, almost punishing kiss; but I hold onto his neck, pressing him into me for more.

When we part, he looks into my eyes. His gaze is wild, crazy, intense, and holds a universe in them. “You’re my dragon. You’re the only thing that protects my heart and my sanity. You’re for me and I’m for you,” he pants and lifts me up.

I wrap my arms and legs around him like a koala and hiss when my back hits the cold tile wall. It almost hurts, but I forget everything when he enters me. His girth stretches me, his length touches places no one has ever touched, and his crown is rubbing the magical spot inside me with every thrust.

My head thuds on the wall, but I’m beyond caring; I’m panting, moaning, and digging my nails hard into his shoulder blades. His face pinches with his desperate need to chase his own pleasure. There’s nothing gentle about this moment. We’re wild animals, clawing, biting, and grunting as we ride our pleasure till we reach that cliff. The passion between us is crazy, it’s burning everything around us like the biggest bonfire and I just want to stay here, like this, as long as possible.

My eyes roll back, the water streaming over us turns cold but all I feel are hot sparks, like fireworks. He pushes me higher and higher, his thrusts get faster and shallower. I scream his name as I jump over the cliff, my legs clamp around his waist, pressing him deeper into me like I want to fuse our souls together. He places his head into the crook of my neck, licking, kissing, sucking the sensitive skin. I’m sure he’s already left hickeys. He chants my name over and over again as he shudders in my arms.

When he fills me he doesn’t fill only my body; he fills my soul, my heart, and my insane mind. When our breaths slow down with our tangled bodies there aren’t any voices in my mind but his and the desire to have a future with him.
