Constance closed her eyes, loving the wind that rushed through her hair, that the man she loved was right in front of her, and cherishing the sense of being free that washed through her. She felt a smile creep along her lips.

She was on the back of Vengeance’s bike, probably going far faster than they legally should, but she didn’t care. Constance loved this, loved that she felt alive, that she felt like she could be who she was always supposed to be with Vengeance.

Vengeance was no fool. Weasel would fall, and soon. “I called Renee. I didn’t speak to her, but I let her know I wanted to see her.” He slapped his club brother on the back. “I’m going back home to the woman I love.”

Once he left the club and was at home, he climbed back into bed. Constance woke up with a moan. “Where have you been?” she asked.

“Getting some work done at the club.” Vengeance pulled Constance into his arms and smiled. “And trying to convince Weasel there was a woman out there for him.”

Renee would come, and when she did, Weasel would fall.
