Blue Alien Prince's Captive Bride: A Sci-Fi Alien Romance (Royally Blue - Celestial Mates Book 4) by Zara Zenia (16)

Chapter 16

Marissa

I woke up and stretched gloriously, rising and shining from a beautiful sleep. I had dreamed I was back on Earth, but with Kadic. We were walking on the beach hand in hand.

When I woke up I felt more confused than ever. Did I want Kadic to return to Earth with me? I wondered if he would fit in there. I had been received and welcomed far more than I had expected upon arrival to Alpazon, but I wasn’t sure the feeling would be mutual for humans reacting to him on Earth.

I stood and stretched wider this time and peered out the window. It was daylight. I was stunned to realize I’d slept the entire night through without stirring. If Kadic had been here to sleep with me, there certainly was no evidence of that on the bed itself.

When I scanned the room, however, confusion sunk even deeper into my brain. The entire bedroom was covered in silk dresses and shimmering diamond and ruby jewelry. Everything was strung out everywhere as if to be presented to me as soon as I woke up.

I tried to step around and over everything, but the lavish and expensive looking items took up most of the floor. It wasn’t just the floor that held these amazing items that made my heart sing and my palms sweat. Were these really all for me?

The dressers and furniture were covered in these incredible pieces. I just couldn’t believe it because there had to be millions of dollars’ worth of jewelry alone, not even including the stunning dresses that I could only guess were couture and custom made.

There were copious amounts of gifts everywhere, but there was still something noticeably missing as I glanced around, and that was Kadic. He was nowhere to be seen in the room, closet, or bathroom.

One particularly gorgeous flowing lavender gown caught my eye.

Should I try it on? It looked my size.

The giddiness took over and I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. I picked up the dress and grazed my fingertips over its silky fabric.

Shit, it is soft.

Unable to resist the temptation, I peeled off my pajamas and nearly jumped into the dress, rashly fitting it onto my body. I ran to the full length mirror in the bathroom to assess my looks.

My mouth dropped when I saw myself. Even without makeup and my hair in a sloppy mess, I looked like a princess.

I twirled around. The dress fit me perfectly.

I have to try on more.

One after another, I clothed myself in the beautiful dresses and animatedly trotted around in front of the mirror. Each one fit me like a glove, almost as if they were custom designed to fit my shapely curves.

I tried on the jewelry piece-by-piece, careful not to break anything. I watched in awe as each necklace, bracelet, and earring sparkled in the light with vibrant colors.

Suddenly I stopped and my heart dropped through the floor.

He is trying to buy my love.

I was angry and wanted to reject all his fucking gifts. I had a necklace clinched in my fist so tightly I thought it might cut me. But right before I threw it across the room, a voice inside told me not to. The value of just one of these necklaces could pay my rent for years.

After contemplating the agony of whether I should keep everything and submit to Kadic’s wishes, or take it off and tell him to fuck off, I came to the decision that I couldn’t keep any of these things.

It took me several moments and almost cost me a mental breakdown, but I knew I had to be strong. I had to tell Kadic to return every beautiful and custom made piece that he hand delivered right to his bed.

Sadness imprisoned my mind and I sniffed as I pushed myself out of a beautiful black silk evening gown.

“Why are you taking that dress off? You look radiant.”

I jumped, startled. I quickly spun around to see Kadic staring dreamily at me.

“Uh, I…”

“Do you not like it?” His face contorted into worry.

“No, it’s not that. Everything is gorgeous. Believe me. I wish I could keep everything.”

“You can, these are all gifts for you, Marissa.” He smiled warmly.

I sighed. “No, Kadic, I’m sorry, but I can’t keep this stuff.”

“Why not?” His voice sounded wounded.

“Because you can’t buy my love.” I looked down at the floor.

“Marissa, these gifts are a token and gesture of friendship, nothing more.”

I looked into his sexy eyes and noticed that he wasn’t good at holding a poker face.

“You know I can’t believe that,” I whispered softly, the frail sound of a cracking woman.

He picked up an emerald necklace, placed it around my neck without a word, and walked me over to the mirror.

I snuck a glance at my reflection, even though inside, I knew it was wrong, because I would adore what I saw on the other side. I just couldn’t resist seeing how captivating I looked.

He stood behind me, but I refused to make eye contact with him because I knew at that point I would cave.

“You look like a queen,” he stated.

I felt like one, too.

He pressed his body behind me and, as his cock dug into my back; it began to vibrate before I could squirm away. He was undeniably warm and comforting.

My body had a mind of its own and didn’t listen to the screams from my brain wreaking havoc and telling me to stop him. My arms, hands, fingers, and lips reacted with lust and passion, not reasoning.

As he showered my neck with delicious, whispering kisses of warm breath on my skin, I completely gave in to him. He brushed the hair off my shoulder with delicate ease. I melted into him and swooned with desire.

He gently helped me get the remainder of the way out of the black evening gown and picked me up in one swift movement. He carried me over to the side of his bed and gently set me down so that I molded into the sheets and cushiony mattress.

I was naked, wet, and ready for him. He climbed on top of me and began kissing me on every surface and crevice of my entire body. Each touch of his lips to my skin was like electric fire, a flame I couldn’t contain.

His vibrating cock brushed up against my skin. I’m going crazy. I shouldn’t do this, I can’t cave.

But it felt so right, so natural, so satisfying.

I’m collapsing under the pressure to revel in this moment.

Descending into an abyss of sexual arousal, I wrapped my arms around him and pressed my body closer to him.

It wasn’t close enough.

I dug my nails into his back and pressed my heels into his ass.

I moaned.

I needed this as much as he needed me. I was ready for surrender into his powerful and masculine arms.
