Something So: The Complete Series by Natasha Madison (17)

Chapter Seventeen

The party is in full swing by the time we get there. It seems the boys got there before everyone else. I spot them all in the pool doing cannonballs, goofing around. It’s a good day, I think to myself.

Allison walks in with her matching cover up.

Leaving the house was another matter. While Allison skipped happily to her room, I made my way to my room with Cooper right at my heels. “Don’t even think about touching me right now. Please. I don’t have enough willpower to say no to you. It will take Allison three seconds to change, and she will be running back in here, so please.”

He chuckles, coming toward me. “Can’t say no to me. I like that. I like it a lot, and as much as I want to pound my cock into your hot pussy I know we have to go. I’m just here to approve your choice of bikini.”

“Approve? You have to be kidding me.” Surely I’ve heard him wrong.

“No kidding, go change, and let me see what this looks like.”

I push his chest away from me, go to my drawer, and make my way into my bathroom, where I slam the door for good measure. Pfft, approve my ass. I am wearing this bikini. I don’t care what he says. He is so not the boss of me.

I tie the top of the bikini, which is just like a bra. I needed to get the top with the underwire to hold up the girls. Gravity, my friends, it’s not a good thing. But the bottoms, that is where the sexy comes from like a regular bikini bottom, except you tie two bows on the sides, making the strings fall down your sides. I look at myself in the mirror. “Not bad, not bad at all.” I wait to hear that Allison has come into the room before going out. I’m not stupid. He isn’t going to say anything with Allison there. This I know.

“Look at how pretty you look. Love the bikini. Let’s hope Mom’s is just as pretty.”

“It’s better, because she can tie bow ties at the side. Mine are already done. Momma said so none of the boys untie it for fun. Cooper, why would boys want to untie the bows? That wouldn’t be berry nice.”

“Um. Um. Um.”

I open the door to save him from that loaded question, and I know I did good on the bikini, because he closes his mouth, swallowing slowly.

“Don’t you guys have another bikini that matches?” he asks, making Allison laugh.

“Look, we are almost twins. Cooper, do we wook okay?”

He nods his head up and down.

“Hey, princess, why don’t you go get your cover up and pack clothes for later, okay?”

“Okay, Momma. Cooper, we even have matching dresses to go with this.”

“Great, I can’t wait to see this.” He is on me before she even gets out the door. “You are not going anywhere like that, go change.”

“Cooper, you are being silly. I look fine. I’m fully covered. Now shoo, I have to get my dress.” I walk to my dresser where he is pushing behind me, his erection fitting right into my back.

He puts his two hands on the dresser, leans down, and whispers, “Baby, I can’t be responsible for what I’m going to do to you if you don’t change your suit.” He snakes a hand to my belly, making me shiver with goose bumps.

“It’s going to be fine. I’m fully covered.”

“Baby.” He snakes his hand down my belly, making his way into the front of my bikini bottoms.

“Cooper,” I moan because he has found my clit, where he is making small little circles, my pussy starting to wake up. “She is going to be back any second.”

He just kisses the side of my neck, still making circles around my bud. I arch my ass up, giving him room to finger me. “Baby, you can’t go out like this.” He licks my ear right before he nips it with his teeth.

“I’m not changing, Cooper.”

I’m standing firm on this. Well, my knees are shaking, but I’m not changing. He runs his finger down, teasing my opening with just his tip before bringing it out, placing it in his mouth.

“Okay, game on,” he says.

I’m flushed, my cheeks pink. I turn, looking at him while crossing my feet, trying to get some friction to stop the aching in my clit.

“Allison, are you almost done?” I’m looking him in the eye while calling down the hall. I see the confusion on his face.

“Almost, Momma, looking for my other shoe.”

I know that this shoe she is looking for is at the front door, and it will take at least two minutes for her to try looking downstairs. I take my hand and push it into my bikini bottom, perching my ass on my dresser.

“Nice and wet. I wonder if you will be able to see the wet spot if I come right before we leave.” I circle my clit, watching his eyes pop. I take my finger out, rubbing it on the bottom of my own lip. I snake my tongue out, tracing the wetness I left there. I twirl my tongue around the tip of my finger. “Hmm, I still taste you from this morning.”

He is clenching his fists at his sides. Then I shimmy my way into the sundress that is like a tube top and flowy skirt coming right under my ass. I walk to him and palm his cock, massaging it up and down.

He throws his head back, growling. I take that opportunity to run my tongue up his throat. “Nice and hard. I wonder how long you will last before you come in my pussy tonight. I mean, if I bent over now, rubbing my wet pussy against your shorts, think you’d come?”

He grabs my hand right before Allison yells, “I found my other shoe, Momma, let’s go.”

He growls, looking me in the eye.

“Game on,” I say in a whisper while I go to my closet, taking my tan wedges out, bending over just for fun, knowing that he is going to see the wet spot that is now there.

“I’m putting my shoes on. Don’t forget your bag.” When I have both shoes on, I add, “Ready?” I look over at him, hearing him curse.

“Fuck me, she is going to kill me.” He shakes his head, following me to the door. I may have swung my hips a little bit more than usual. When Allison is almost to the car, he yanks me back. “See that hammock, babe? I’m fucking you on that tonight.” He kisses my cheek, jogging to help Allison in the car, making me squirm in my flip-flops.

The backyard is full of people. I think everyone who is associated with this team or the rink has shown up. I turn to Cooper, grabbing the bags from his hands. “I’ll go put these inside. Why don’t you go get a beer and relax?”

He grunts, walking to Tom, accepting a beer, then taking a long pull, still looking at me. Making my way inside, I hear Meghan laughing. Walking into the kitchen, I find her looking out the window facing the backyard.

“What are you snickering about?” I ask, going to see what is making her laugh.

“Your dude has a semi.”

I continue looking at him where I can clearly see his semi, but then he slips off his T-shirt and that is where we both stop laughing.

“Fuck me, big dick, nice chest. Please tell me he has something ugly about him.”

“Um, I hate to say it, but it’s all that good.” I glance over at him, noticing that he is watching Allison to make sure she is okay.

“Bitch, he has an eight pack and the side V. I’ve got some chocolate sauce in the fridge you can borrow.” She turns to me, giggling.

“Meghan, what the fuck are you talking about, woman?” Tom roars from behind us. His suit is hanging low on his hips, his own six-pack on sight, as well as his V.

“Babe, I was just acknowledging Parker’s upgrade from her ex. Besides, I got all the man I can get in my bed.” She walks over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck, snuggling up to him.

He grabs her ass with both hands, lifting her up. “Damn fucking straight you do. I can go upstairs and show you just how much of a man I am.”

“Okay, this is more than my eyes should possibly see. I’ll meet you guys outside. You guys can go upstairs for two minutes,” I say, walking by giggling.

“I need more than two minutes.”

“Really?” I tilt my head. “That’s not what Meghan just told me.”

“You fucking bitch,” Meghan yells just as he stomps up the stairs two at a time, while she is still wrapped around him.

Once I make my way outside, I find Allison, who is in the pool swimming with Cooper off to the side watching her with both eyes while sitting down in a chair. I also notice some of the moms are standing around him, trying to pull him in the conversation. They are also very touchy, which makes me want to growl. He doesn’t even notice what is going on.

“Hey, babe,” he says to me while I walk up to the group.

“What’s everyone up to?” I ask innocently.

“Hey, Parker, we were just watching the kids. We had no idea that you and Cooper were dating.” Sarah looks over.

Sarah is newly divorced as well. No cheating involved, they just fell out of love.

“I guess we are dating.” I kiss his cheek. He tugs my arm till I’m sitting on his knee. The conversation flows as we talk about the kids, their routine, and everyone is happy that school is out for the summer.

I look around the yard, trying to find Matthew.

I spot him surrounded by the guys, but there is one girl sticking around. I’ve seen her around the rink while he’s been there practicing. I make a mental note to ask him about it later. Knowing Matthew he will probably just shrug it off.

“I wonder what time Tom is starting the BBQ?” Cooper asks, trying to get away from the women.

“I think Meghan needed him for something. They should be down soon.” I grab Cooper’s beer, pulling a sip from it. He laughs while he wraps his arms around my waist, making me fall back onto him. Just then Tom comes out with the biggest smirk ever.

“Hey, Parker, how long was that?” He stands back proudly.

“Ummm, a minute and a half, my friend,” I say to him with a huge smile on my face.

He glares over at me. “Minute and a half my ass. You are looking at a good five minutes.”

He is smiling like he just won the Stanley Cup. “Okay, big guy, why don’t you grill us up some food? Those boys played their ass off and need some sustenance,” Cooper calls out over my head. The boys hear this, yelling out how hungry they are.

“Momma, Momma, come swimming with me.” Allison is now standing next to our chair, dripping all over the place.

“Okay, love, let’s go swimming.” I get off Cooper, making my way to the pool, and strip off my sundress. Once my dress is placed on a chair, Allison turns around to see Sam and Michael.

“Look at me and my mommy. We match.”

Sam stutters, “Umm, yes, you both look beautiful.”

“They are both beautiful indeed,” I hear from my left, and I’m shocked because there stands James. Without Tiffany.

“Daddy, you came to Matthew’s party. Matthew, Dad’s here.”

At this point everyone stops talking. It’s like the parting of the sea or something.

Three things happen all at once. Matthew looks over with a wave and continues talking to his friends.

Meghan comes outside, looking freshly fucked, I might add, almost spilling our drinks, and Cooper is standing right behind me now with one hand on my hip.

“James, good to see you. Babe, let’s go swim, yeah?”

I’m in a daze. Why is he here? He never ever comes to these things. Actually, him coming to one before was like pulling teeth. He usually came up with excuses to never come to anything.

“Parker,” Cooper says, snapping me back to reality. “It’s fine.”

“What is he doing here?” I whisper. “He was never here, now he’s here all the time.”

“It’s all good, he’s here for Matthew. Let him have this.”

I scoff at him, rolling my eyes.

Meghan finally sits down on the side of the pool, putting her feet in the water, holding out a drink for me. “I think you need a double, but I didn’t know before I came outside.”

“I think I need a triple, not just a double,” I say, swallowing down half of my martini in one gulp.

“Babe, we have plans later, yeah? So go easy.”

“Oh, plans, is that what we are calling it?” Meghan asks, sipping her own martini. “I just had plans upstairs. Five minutes long. Tom was proving a point because your woman called him a two-minute man.”

Cooper just shakes his head, not even trying to get her brand of crazy. He simply accepts it.

“I see your plans made a mess of your hair, by the way. Looks like it was pulled and yanked.” I throw at her.

“Oh, that’s because it was. My plan was very aggressive this time. There was even a smack.”

That is the line that makes Cooper choke on his sip of beer.

“I can’t do this.” He leans down, making sure to kiss me before stepping out of the pool.

“Oh wait, don’t leave yet, Cooper. I was just going to tell you about my plans later tonight. I plan on making lots of plans.”

I splash water at her face, but she doesn’t even notice because she is now belly rolling laughing, making me see that everything is going to be okay.

When I finally make my way out of the pool, way before Allison is ready, I spot James sitting next to my bag. “It’s nice of you to come for Matthew,” I say, trying to not make a big deal out of it. “It was a big day for him. I know he is going to enjoy you coming out for him.” I wrap myself up in the towel before sitting by his side on another wicker chair.

“We had it good, didn’t we?” James looks over at me, smiling.

“Yes, we did, but if I’m honest, I don’t think we would have survived the forever.” I don’t know why I’m saying this.

“What do you mean?” he asks, his eyebrows pulling together.

“I mean, we loved each other, but we were not in love with each other anymore. I think it was all just routine. Us staying together was the right thing to do, but it wasn’t because we needed to, it was because we just didn’t know how to walk away.”

“This is about Cooper, isn’t it?”

I shake my head. “I don’t know if it is or if it isn’t, but what I do know is that with him it’s different. I don’t have to be scared he is going to get pissed off about something, because he’s just accepting to things.”

“What if I said I made a mistake?” he asks, looking straight in my eyes.

“I’d say that if you had asked me four months ago, I would have said that I don’t know what I would have said, but we are here now. So did you make a mistake? Fuck yeah, you did. You broke my heart, you ruined my life at the time. You made me doubt myself. You made me doubt everything that we created,” I say, taking in a deep breath. “But it also made me see that if you really wanted me you would have fought for me. You would have told me shit was going bad. It doesn’t happen overnight.”

“You’re right. I wasn’t happy, but you, you were the best thing to happen to me. Those kids are the reason for me to wake up every morning. I just lost my way.” He leans forward to hold my hands.

“You did lose your way, but I found my way. I’m happy, so very happy. I have my life, I have the kids, and now I have Cooper. I have to say I wasn’t expecting it, I wasn’t waiting for it, but it showed up and knocked me on my ass.”

“I think I’m just going to tell Matthew goodbye and catch up another time.” He gets up. “I’m hoping we could talk more.” He kisses my forehead. “I miss you, I miss us.”

And just like that he is gone, saying goodbye to everyone before stopping to kiss Matthew and Allison.

“Babe,” Cooper calls, sitting where James had been a moment earlier.

“I’m happy.” I look at him, smiling, hoping he gets what I’m saying.

“Good to know. I’m happy, too.” He tugs my hands till I’m sitting in his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck, kissing him through my smile. “We are both happy.”
