Unforgiving: Broken Deeds MC by Esther E. Schmidt (7)

***Doll***

Oh, crap. I’m doomed. My fingers dig into his shirt to keep myself grounded while pulling him closer at the same time. Ramrod’s hand slides down my back as he grabs my ass and grinds his pelvis against me. Something very huge, and very hard, is caught between us. His dick that’s making the place between my legs throb. Two of the many examples indicating the lust that possesses us…how we crave to have one another.

He tilts his head and plunges his tongue in my mouth. If this is any indication of the way this man handles himself in the bedroom…I would sign a contract right here to have this man in my life for as long as I live. Shit. That might not be long enough.

A low guttural sound rips from his throat when he pulls back, breaking our kiss without any indication. “That’s enough.”

Enough? I was just signing off for… “Why?” I croak.

“Because too much more and I would have your legs wrapped around my neck and my face buried between them to lick your cunt before I thoroughly fuck the ever-loving-shit out of it,” he growls with so much raw emotion in his voice that my mouth turns dry.

I can barely swallow before I croak, “I was kinda hoping that was the bonus you mentioned.”

His head falls back and he curses at the ceiling before his dark eyes hit mine again. “I can’t,” he tells me with a truckload of regret in his voice. “I need to clear that shit that’s haunting you first. I don’t want it between us. This,” his hand goes back and forth from me to him, “isn’t some fucking payment of some kind. And before you say something, I know it isn’t like that, but the way you make my body feel is new to me. So that little fact tells me I have to take my time to build up, maybe even…” His eyes close and it’s like he’s swallowing his next words and searching for new ones.

“Thank you,” I tell him honestly because what he just said is more than any guy I’ve been with ever gave me.

“What the fuck did I tell you about,” he mutters but I silence him with my mouth before he can tell me to stop saying thank you.

Ramrod clearly didn’t expect that I would damn near jump him, but he catches me with ease and for one brief moment I think we’re about to take it to the next step, yet he pulls back again.

He places his forehead against mine. “No, baby, I need to stop before I can’t hold back.”

I make a sound of disgust while his chest rumbles with a laugh.

“When I get my cock under control to tone it down a bit, we can make out some more,” he promises me.

“So basically, we get to be horny teenagers, relying on touchy-feely stuff and saving the big prize until after we’ve graduated?” I ask him and barely keep my laughter in.

The corner of his mouth twitches. “Something like that, except graduation comes in the form of me setting things right for you and giving you your life back.”

“Okay,” I tell him while my gaze is locked on his lips.

The skin around, and on my mouth for that matter, still tingles from the feel of his domination. I have no other word for it because that goatee does funny things to my system and not to mention his tongue. I can barely keep up.

“I need a shower,” he mutters and steps away. “I’ll get dinner started after that.”

“I can help,” I offer.

“Fuck no,” he snaps but shakes his head. “Sorry. I need to clear my head, so I need some space and the kitchen is practically the bathroom, or it’s attached to it anyway. I’d appreciate it if you could…”

I cough to cover up the gasp of realization. Because for sure he’s going to take the pressure off and doesn’t want me near to hear him jerk off. Shit. Why does that turn me on even more? “Okay, why don’t you go masturbate in the shower while I make some sketches for the giraffe. Sounds good, right? Do you have a pencil and some paper?”

The look on his face and his body going all tight makes me think he’s in shock. Yet he somehow recovers and strolls away, handing me paper and a pencil. “I’ll be out back,” he mutters and walks out the front door.

I’ve got paper in one hand, a pencil in the other, yet I got nothing. Seriously, he just walks out like that? And what is he going to do…out back? Standing there in silence for what seems like an hour, instead it might just be a few minutes, I place the items I was holding on the table and open the front door. It’s raining so I turn and grab one of Ramrod’s jackets before I step outside.

Glancing left and right I see no trace of him. I see nothing except for a row of buildings. Ramrod told me that a few of the other bikers lived there. Hearing grunts from behind the house, I make my way toward it. The moment I see what’s happening out back...I regret leaving the house. That’s right, I should have listened. Then I wouldn’t have seen Ramrod lifting half a tree trunk above his head while squatting, bare chested I might add.

It’s a good thing he’s not facing me, so I can gape and drool in silence. This man is unbelievable. How can he walk off and be doing this in mere minutes? I’ve never seen anybody lift something that heavy in one fluid motion, it’s almost as if he’s twirling a toothpick.

Silently, I slide down the wooden deck, sit down and lean my back against the house. This view in front of me is better than any movie that’s on TV, or any book that’s ever hit my Kindle. From this distance I can see the beads of sweat trail down his back. My lady parts, let’s skip the word lady because I might as well refer to them as my slutty parts, are now dripping and begging for this man.

There’s not a single inch of doubt that he can’t handle anything life throws at him. Another chip falls off the guilt I have that I dragged him into my messed up life. It seems he was thrown on my path for a reason, and I’d be an idiot to pass up something so good and so special.

I almost feel entitled too. I mean, it’s not like I asked for any of this. Not that I blamed my sister because really…how could she have known? That guy was so good at his job he was fooling everyone. For years. Or was she aware of it, and did something go wrong between them? Hurt wraps around my heart. I wasn’t lying when I mentioned to Ramrod that I don’t think she’s alive anymore.

It’s been going through my head for a while now. Hell, it was the first thing that came to mind when she didn’t show up. Those were her exact words…if I don’t show up, then I’m dead and you should trust no one. Stick to telling everyone you haven’t seen me in months. Hell, it’s the truth. And it was the truth. We’ve grown apart, each of us living our own life…and now she’s gone.

“Hey,” a rough pant wheezes out in front of me.

Shocked from being pulled out of my thoughts, I release a high-pitched scream and lash out. I have to fight, get in a few punches before they start to attack me again. I try to back up in the process but I forgot that I’m already plastered against the house. My head hits the hardness of a wall behind me, pain shooting through my skull as I crumble into a ball, waiting for the blows to come crashing down on me.

“Doll…sugar, please.” I faintly hear a voice that’s soothing instead of the haunting voice that held me captive against my will. “It’s me…come on, baby.”

An unexpected snort leaves my body. “Doll, sugar, baby…all of those and not once using my given name.” I groan in discontent, my hand slowly rubbing where I hit my head. “Although it doesn’t really matter how you address me when those names fall from your mouth, yet Doll is my favorite,” I mutter and somehow all the distress drains away.

I don’t even know why I focused on all the words he gave me just now, all laced with a truckload of concern. And yet with those sweet words, he’s managed to rip me out of a nasty memory.

“Yeah, well, I have no fucking clue what to do. I was standing in front of you a moment ago and you were staring right at me but somehow you didn’t see me. When I said ‘hey’, you practically jumped out of your skin.” Ramrod is still panting, no wonder because he was lifting that tree trunk up and down while squatting. Magnificent man.

“Shit. You made me go all daydreamy and that slipped into worry and eventually a nightmare.” I sigh and my gaze connects with his, his right cheek has blood dripping down from… “I clawed at your face,” I gasp in horror.

“There’s that...and you almost punched me in the balls with your fist too, but I managed to dodge that one,” the man says on a chuckle. A chuckle!

“I’m so sorry,” I whisper in shame and push myself to sit up straight.

It’s then I realize that he’s bending over, leaning his palms on his knees. He didn’t even touch me and I attacked him for no reason at all.

“Now don’t set your mind on overdrive. I can hear your fucking brain crackling all the way from here. We haven’t yet discussed what went on from when the guy took you up until I found you walking on that dark road, but with this, and those bruises you’re sporting, it’s safe to say it wasn’t a picnic. You don’t just slide back into the normal swing of things. You’re bound to have a few triggers now that you’ll need to work on before you can overcome them, or have them fade,” Ramrod tells me with a soothing voice.

“How did you become an expert at all this, huh?” I grumble in frustration, mainly because he seems too good to be true. “Wait, you didn’t touch me, you offered help, you asked if I was sure before I showered away as you called it… evidence, and you asked if I wanted to file a report. You said ‘your case’.” Oh God. My stomach turns and I can barely keep the bile from entering my mouth. “You’re a cop,” I squeak in fear and bury my head in my hands, squeezing my eyes shut to close myself off. “You’re going to choose his side and I’ll be nothing to you. You guys always stick together. That’s what happened when I went to the police to file a missing person’s report. My sister warned me. Oh God, oh God.”

“Fuck.” I hear him snap before I feel his fingers dig into my shoulders as he gives me one firm shake. “Snap the hell out of it. I’m not a cop, Doll.”

“Right, isn’t that what someone would say at a time like this? Are you a cop? No. Did you do it? No, I’m innocent. How the hell did I get to this point in my life where I can’t freaking trust anyone?” That last part I have to force out on a sob. “I’m so freaking lost, I have no clue what to do. I might as well turn myself over to the cops and let him find and kill me,” I mumble to myself.

Ramrod rips my hands away from my face and grabs my chin in a firm grip. “Now you listen the fuck up. I’m no fucking cop. I’m above the damn law and that’s even more than I can tell you right now. If I would claim you as my ol’lady I would be able to tell you shit, but that would mean we’d have to get our ink first. But I will fucking vow to you right now that I can’t be bought or will side with any cop for that matter. My brothers? Yeah, because we’ve fucking lived together for years and are screened thoroughly before we end up a full member. No fucking doubt. That’s blind trust; they have my back and I have theirs. And with that…I’m telling you they have yours too because,”

“I’m your girlfriend? Just a friend? Hell, we don’t even know each other. Why would you do such a thing for me? For all we know they could have tapped my friend’s phone and will come here to get me again.” Fear grips me. “Oh…what have I done? I need to get away.”

“Let them fucking come.” Ramrod barks his words out so loud that birds fly out of the trees and scatter away.

His face is a resemblance of utter fury, his jaw ticks and his hands clench into massive fists, ready to strike at any time to stand up and fight on my behalf. My eyes travel up as I see the veins that are covering his muscles, fueling his strength.

The urge to run drains completely and instead there’s only one place where I’ve felt safe. I launch myself at him and throw my arms around his waist, tightening because I’m afraid to let go.

Ramrod is still standing there, tight as a string, all hard muscle. For a moment I think he’s going to push me away and yet deep down I know this man, and even though he doesn’t even know me, is the only one who fully understands me. My Muscleman. I might not have the strength to ever let him go.
