Alpha's Mates: An MMM Mpreg Romance (Northern Pines Den Book 2) by Susi Hawke (2)

I stopped what I was doing, listening with interest. “What did you have in mind?”

“I want to fuck Colin,” he paused before adding with a shy smile, “while you fuck me.” At those words, my half soft cock flared back to life.

Nodding quickly, I said: “But what about lube? You don't make slick like an omega.” Sean reached down and swiped a handful of slick from Colin's leaking hole and smeared it on my cock.

Smirking now, he said: “That's when we get creative. See? Problem solved.” My only response was lean in and shove my tongue into his mouth.

We kissed for several minutes, our tongues doing battle until Colin reached down and grabbed our hair, pulling us apart. He glanced at his own turgid cock that was nearly purple with need. “I don't care who fucks who at this point, but can you guys kiss later so that someone's cock can get inside me?”

I gave Sean one more quick kiss, and then swiped a handful of Colin's slick and rubbed more of it over my cock. Luckily, the swirl wasn't protruding again just yet. Sean got up on his knees to line up his cock against that sweet omega hole. I rubbed a finger in between them before he could push in, and got it wet.

While Sean slowly eased into Colin, I got behind him and pushed my slickened finger into his own hole. After sinking all the way in, he held still for a moment while Colin's body accepted his girth.

I was watching Colin's face the whole time from over Sean's shoulder. When I saw our omega's expression slowly change to bliss, I gave Sean a smack on the ass and whispered: “Move now, cara. Give our mate the good fucking that he needs.”

Sean began to thrust. He was awkward at first until he slowly found his rhythm. Once he let himself I go, I saw his body visibly relaxing as Sean slowly began to rock in and out of our omega mate at a steady pace.

Stroking my slick cock with one hand, I fingered his tight alpha ass with the other until his muscles began to relax for me. Without warning him, I lined myself up so that the next time he rocked back, he impaled himself on my cock.

His sharp inhaled breath as he froze in place told me that it stung him a bit more than I'd intended. “I'm sorry, cara. I should have warned you. Can you handle this, do you think?” He nodded quickly, and pushed back into Colin slowly. I stayed still, the tip of my cock still in his ass so that he pushed back onto it when he pulled out of Colin.

I stayed like that until he grew accustomed to riding my cock. When he began rocking faster, I gripped his hips and began to thrust myself into him harder. Sean's back was against my chest now, sweat running down his spine. I decided to play dirty, and leaned over his shoulder to scrape my teeth along his alpha-gland while at the same time I thrust harder into his tight ass.

His head fell back onto my shoulder, his teeth bared in a nearly feral snarl as he rutted back and forth between my cock and Colin's hole. My vortex began to expand again. With each thrust, the room spun around me from the intensity of my nubbins rubbing against his rim each time my cock moved in and out of his hole.

Colin's eyes widened with wonder as he screamed out both of our names. I looked  down at where they were joined just in time to see a fat knot squeezing into that tight pucker. I wasn't surprised when Sean was unable to pull back out. He tilted his hips forward, giving short thrusts into Colin. I was pulled forward with him, my cock doing the whole velcro thing that I'd heard described in sex ed all those years ago.

My knotting vortex had grown so that I couldn't pull out either. With each thrust of my hips, I felt Sean's channel hugging my cock as my nubbins practically embedded themselves inside of his walls, they were so thick now.

All at once, Colin's jerking cock began to spray globs of cum across all three of us. Sean came with a shout, his ass clenching around my cock and forcing me to blow my own load.

I shoved Sean's face down against Colin's omega-gland while I sunk my own teeth into Sean's alpha-gland. The link wasn't complete though. I eased Sean to the side a little and slipped around him to sink my own teeth into the unmarked omega-gland on the other side of Colin's neck.

Colin's eyes rolled back with bliss, but he retained enough presence of mind to pant: “Lean in and I'll stretch forward, but you need our bites too. Sean, help me claim our alpha-mate!”

I'm not sure how we worked out the contortion, but both of my mates managed to bite me on either side of my neck at the same time. I felt their elongated fangs pierce each of my alpha-glands at once. Suddenly, I was transported as something entirely new clicked into place within me.

I felt the combined weight of both of us jamming Sean's knot firmly into Colin's ass, as well as the dual sensation of hot alpha seed filling the slick tunnel while also coating that fat cock and thick knot. I felt as if dozens of stiff nipples were rubbing into the walls of my ass, while at the same time, I felt the soft, heated walls of Sean's ass surrounding my cock as they almost absorbed my knotting vortex so that we melded into each other like a single organism. I felt my own hot seed that filled his chamber and coated my cock.

It was the most surreal fucking experience in the world. I realized as I slowly became aware of my surroundings again, that I'd been feeling each of my mates separate perspectives through our newly forged bonds. I shifted back around so that Sean and I weren't twisted around each other in the weird contortion that the claim-bites had required of us, given our positions.

I stood back up on my knees, bracing myself carefully on Sean's shoulder. I didn't know if it would hurt him if I suddenly pulled out. But I was pretty sure that it would likely fucking kill me as it would probably rip off several of my protruding nubbins. Just like Sean with his bulbous knot at the root of his cock, I was stuck in him until my knotting vortex relaxed.

My mind ran through different positions, until I finally suggested that we all gently ease onto our sides in a sort of three way spooning, except that Sean and Colin would have to face each other.

We managed it somehow, wriggling around until we all found a mutually comfortable position. Colin threw a leg over Sean's hips and stretched it over me as he tilted slightly to accommodate the knot that still plugged his hole.

Once we were settled, I stretched my arm under Sean's and across his side with my hand resting on Colin's hip. Colin mirrored my arm positioning, stretching his own arm across Sean and resting his hand on my hip.

Sean just cuddled into both us happily, his fingers resting against Colin's chest. He sighed happily and said a surprisingly open expression of honesty: “I suppose I should feel like the monkey in the middle, but this is just fucking awesome. I've never felt this kind of affection before. I mean, I know my parent's loved me, but they weren't the most affectionate people. And with my brother, Taylor? I've always had to look after him and be the strict asshole who kept him from getting too crazy. My cousin, Walt, is a sweetheart. But he's too reserved for many displays of affection.”

Colin leaned forward and gently kissed our mate before touching their foreheads together. “Get used to it, babe. This is pretty much your future. My bear people aren't big on affectionate displays either, except between mates. The cubs are treated with strict discipline and taught to be self-sufficient. This is a new world to me too. My dads loved me, but they never gave me big hugs that I can remember. At best, I'd get a clasp on the shoulder or a side-hug on the holidays. And our kitty cat back there seems to be all about rubbing up on us and licking our bodies. So yeah, we're probably looking at our future.”

I purred my agreement but said: “This is exactly what our future looks like, mi vida. And you're right. I'll probably be rubbing and licking you both as much as possible. Can't help it, it's a cat thing. Deal with it. My people are all about affectionate displays of our love. And our children will also be the recipients of a lot of hugs and kisses. No stern discipline here, mates.”

Colin laughed. “I can agree on the affection, but it's a good thing they'll have me to discipline them. You two will probably spoil them rotten if I don't step in.”

Sean grunted. “Ask Taylor how permissive I am with pups.”

Colin grinned affectionately at our mate. “Taylor wasn't your pup though. There's a difference.” Colin got quiet for a minute and said: “By the way, Jules. I know we're all tired, but after that freaky Friday thing where we all experienced the things that each other were feeling? I'm totally gonna need to get a piece of that knotting vortex of yours. That was all kinds of hot from what I felt through my link to Sean.”

“Fuck yeah it was,” Sean said sleepily. “I'm planning to get a lot of that action from here on out. I'll share with you though, Colin. Just don't ask him to take my knot. He could probably handle your cock, but my knot would split his alpha ass in two.”

I looked across Sean to see a spark in Colin's eyes that told me he'd be taking Sean's suggestion soon enough. I'd definitely be on the receiving end of an omega dick in my ass at some point in the near future. I smiled at my omega and licked my lips. I wasn't nearly as turned off by that idea as he probably thought I would be when Sean had casually mentioned it.

I yawned. “Maybe tomorrow Colin can fuck me while you and I try a little docking action with my foreskin, Sean.”

Sean became more alert and looked back at me over his shoulder with interest. “I've heard of that, but obviously never tried it. I'm going to hold you to that offer.”

“So am I,” Colin said with a smirk. “But I also can't wait to get my dick inside one of you. Jules seems good with it though, so that's definitely happening.”

Sean barked out a lazy laugh. “I'll try it too. If I would let Mr. Freaky-Dick fuck me, why wouldn't I let you, sweetie?”

I jerked my cock a little inside of his ass, making him gasp with pleasure. “That's to remind you that you like my freaky-dick, you nasty fucker. And Colin? Don't get too tired, babe. I'm not passing out until you get a turn on my cock tonight. I want to feel that sweet slick for myself. It felt hot through the bond. Now I want to feel it in person.”

Colin winked at me and licked his lips with anticipation. Sean snorted. “No wonder the gods gave us each two mates. We're a bunch of kinky fuckers with insatiable appetites, aren't we?”

I shrugged and snuggled up closer against his back, running my tongue along his neck. “We cats are more sexual anyway, so this isn't weird to me at all.”

I was just thinking,” I continued. “It's nice that we're all close in height. While Colin rides my dick later, you can straddle me too if you want and let him have a turn at your ass or you can just fuck my mouth. Your choice. Or you can just sleep while Colin and I have fun without you.”

Sean whimpered. “Those are too many options, and all of them good. Fuck it. I'm going to nap for a bit. One of you wake me up when my knot deflates so that we can see about round two.” Colin and I smiled at him affectionately and snuggled in closer to let him rest.

Chapter Eight

Sean

It was a long night, and fuck was I sore. I woke up when my phone wouldn't quit buzzing on the nightstand beside me where I'd left it on silent mode before I'd gone to bed last night. I sat up slowly, easing my way to the edge of the bed so that I wouldn't wake my mates.

I grabbed my phone and grabbed my borrowed sweats from the night before as I made my way into the bathroom to relieve my screaming bladder. Once I'd washed my hands, brushed my teeth, and pulled on my sweats, I shoved the phone into my pocket and went in search of coffee.

The pot was easy enough to set up, and I had it brewing within minutes. Finally looking at my phone, I saw that I'd missed several calls from my brother, as well as an entire stream of texts.

Rolling my eyes, I waited until I had coffee in hand before I slipped outside to sit on the porch and return his messages. Taylor answered on the first ring, shrieking into my ear about how long he'd been trying to reach me.

When I mentioned that he was lucky the betas had even delivered my phone to Mikael for me when they'd arrived last night, that shut him up for a minute. But then he began again. I pinched the bridge of my nose and let him vent his worried frustrations. When he'd finished and demanded I put Mikael on the line, I had to tell him the truth. It wasn't like he wouldn't find out soon enough anyway.

“Taylor. Slow down and let me talk, okay? I can't put Mik on the phone, because I'm not with him. I'm at my mate's cabin. It's only about a ten minute run though, so I can go get him if it's urgent.”

My brother was silent for a good thirty seconds. I smiled, as I waited patiently for him to process what I'd said.

“Wait. What? Mate? When did that happen? What the hell is happening up there on that mountain, Sean? Holy shit, big brother! I'm so happy for you! Tell me about your mate, do I know him?”

I chuckled. “Probably not, but remember Karl, Owen and Zane?”

Taylor sucked in a breath. “Nooooo. You're not saying what I think you are? Are you? Seriously? Mr. Prim and Proper has two mates? Like, you're in a menage or triad or threesome or whatever the hell it is that you're calling yourselves?”

“Taylor. Let's go with triad. And yes. But here's the cool part. My alpha mate is a fucking Jaguar shifter! You're going to shit when you see him shift. My omega mate is a nice guy from the den. His name is Colin. I think that he's about your age. His folks own a deli in town.”

Taylor squealed in my ear. “I totally know who Colin is, Sean! He brought me soup when I was pregnant and barely eating! Oh, man. Humans post photos of his soups all over social media. That deli is pretty popular. Ask him to make you soup. You'll be amazed. The guy is gifted, trust me.”

My chest filled with pride for my mate as I listened to my brother's glowing words. He stopped suddenly. “Oh. Wait. Oh, no. That poor omega. He's the one from the wreck yesterday, right? Wow. I'm glad he has mates now to help him through it. Peter has it all set up for the funeral when he gets back. He'll just need to meet with Peter to plan the music and flowers. The den is going to pay for it all, we already decided that yesterday.”

I was touched to hear that. “Thanks, Taylor. And tell Peter thank you as well. Um, did you really need to talk to Mik, or are you just worried?”

Taylor sighed. “Honestly? I know he's going to try and meet with his sister to reason with her and stop this war. But I had a bad dream before I woke up this morning, and I don't feel good about him being there when she arrives. Can you just try to stop him or at least make sure that he gets home in one piece?”

“I'll do my best, Taylor. There's no changing his mind on this, we already tried. But he does have a good plan in place. My mate is here for back-up if things smell off. Try not to worry. I'll try to call you as soon as I know anything, okay?”

Taylor sighed in my ear. “Okay. Thanks, Sean. I need to go, Alec is crying for me from his crib. But Sean? Congratulations on your mating. I really am very happy for you. You deserve this, Sean. I don't say this to you as often as I should, but I love you.”

“I love you too, Taylor. Now check on my nephew. I'll call you later, I promise.”

We hung up and I looked over my shoulder to see Jules standing there smiling at me softly. I stretched out my arm as he came over to greet me with a hug.

“Colin is still sleeping. I'm sorry if I was intruding on your call. I tried not to, but I figured it was better that you knew I could hear than to lay in bed and eavesdrop.”

I shrugged and leaned into him. “Yeah, that must be a bitch sometimes to have supersonic hearing like that.”

Jules hummed in his throat and nodded. He grabbed my coffee and stole a drink. After handing it back, he spoke quietly. “I trust your brother's gut you know. And his dream. The gods speak to us that way. I feel unsettled myself. I don't know why, but I feel as though this is a carefully laid trap for Mikael.”

“Do you think that Yvonne is even coming? Or was this whole fiasco just a set-up all along.” I asked, even though I was afraid to hear the answer.

Jules sighed and stole another drink of my coffee. “I've been thinking about it, ever since I heard your brother over the phone telling you his concerns. And honestly, I'm a little bit ashamed that I didn't consider this sooner.”

I turned and took a seat on the small bench he had out here that looked out over the woods. Jules came and sat down beside me, stretching his legs out in front of him, crossing his ankles with his arms crossed over his chest.

“It doesn't make sense that as well hidden as her network of rogue packs is, that she would purposely come to visit her old cabin that she lived in years ago. You saw that place. No alpha female worth her salt would willingly walk into that filthy pit. They'd blow it off the map before they'd...”

He turned to me, his eyes wild. “Blow it off the map! What time is it, cara?”

I looked at my phone. “8:53”

Jules jumped and pushed off his pants. He tilted his head, listening to some unknown sound. Turning back, he said: “I hear a helicopter coming this way, you'll hear it in about five minutes or so. Which is, I believe, the plan.”

I was confused. “What plan, babe?”

“Exactly what I was talking about before I asked the time. Listen to me carefully. I have forty-three seconds before I need to run if I'm to get there in time. Go wake our mate, don't bother dressing. There's a backpack your wolf can wear to carry your phone and a couple bottles of water. Oh! And trail bars, take food in case you need it. There's stuff in the bread box that's portable. Shut everything off here, lock the door, and shift. Meet me in the trees where we met the guys last night to plan the rescue. Don't let Colin out of your sight, you guys watch each other's backs.”

“Where will you be, Jules?”

“I'll be saving your brother-in-law's bacon. I gotta run, cara. Be safe. And get out of here, I have a bad feeling that things are about to go up in flames. That backpack I mentioned? It has my id, credit cards, phone, everything I need. It's in the closet next to my boots.”

“So it's your go bag, basically. You need me to bring it. Anything else?”

He shook his head. “The only other things I need from here are you two. Please stay safe. My gut is churning, cara. I need to run now. If you aren't able to meet up with me, then go straight to your brother. I will meet you there as soon as I'm able, if I'm not already there when you arrive.”

I nodded as he leaned in for a quick kiss before shifting and quickly running off in a tawny blur. With a sigh, I drained my mug and went inside. I rinsed the mug and set it upside down to dry and turned off the coffee pot. I took a quick second to dump the coffee and throw away the used grounds before grabbing the meal bars and granola snacks from the breadbox and a few bottles of water.

Walking quickly now, I went into the bedroom. I retrieved the backpack and began loading it with the snacks and drinks. I stopped by the dresser, and pulled out three pairs of athletic shorts and t-shirts that could be easily shoved into the pack for when we returned to human form at the end of our journey. I turned to wake Colin, but he was already sitting up in bed, watching me work.

“Something's happened. Where's Jules?” He demanded, worry prevalent in his voice as he spoke.

“Jules' spidey senses went off. He's racing to the cabin, and wants us prepared to evacuate. Don't bother dressing, we're shifting and hoofing it from here. We kinda need to hurry though, baby.”

“Well, shit. Okay then. Let me pee and we're gone. Do I need to do anything?” He talked as he quickly walked to the bathroom. I filled him in on Jules' instructions.

Colin turned to me, and grabbed the backpack I held. “Get your pants off then! Shit. We need to move. Head for the door, I'll double check the lights and lock up. You shift first, so I can attach the backpack for you. Then I'll shift. Don't go slow for me, I can keep up.”

I nodded, and did as he suggested. I had just shifted when Colin pulled the door closed and double checked the lock. As he helped me into the backpack, a helicopter buzzed overhead. Shit. And five minutes out too, just like he'd said. Colin shifted into a gorgeous brown bear and we took off running toward the cabin.

Even though I didn't know the mountain, our scent trails from yesterday were still fresh enough to follow easily. We were halfway there, about five minutes out, when we heard the sound of a big explosion. Our shifter noses could easily smell the smoke and flames that were already spreading to the brush and old wood that littered the area around the cabin.

The smoke got denser as we went closer, and I jumped in front of Colin to stop him in his tracks. He tried to get around me, I could feel his panic. An image of a dead Jules flashed through my head. I realized though that it was coming from Colin.

Stop! He's okay!” I screamed in my head, wanting to get that across to him. I wanted to shift so we could talk, but we needed to stay in this form and keep moving.

Colin did stop though, his head tilting curiously to the side as he peered down at me. His uniquely human green eyes sparkled in that ursine face.

“Sean? Did you just talk to me in my head? What the fuck?”

I stopped in front of him, shocked as hell.

“Colin? Are you talking to me in my head right now?”

“You did it to me first.”

“Yeah, but I didn't know you'd hear. Shit! I bet this is another perk of the bond! Listen, baby. We don't have long here, we need to keep moving. Listen, we can't go into that smoke. It will kill us. I'm positive that Jules is fine or we would feel his loss through our bond. We need to get to safety. Let's head to the den, Jules will meet us there.”

“Are you sure? What if he wastes time looking for us here?”

“Colin. Remember? I told you Plan B was to meet there. But listen, let's both focus on him and see if we can talk to him through our bond. But let's get moving down the mountain while we do. What if you're already pregnant after last night?”

“If it wasn't so smoky I could smell it if I was. I wasn't paying attention earlier.”

“Really? You bears are so cool the way you can do that shit.”

“Can we have this discussion later and focus on Jules?”

“I can hear you both already,” Jules' amused yet stressed voice filled our heads. “You're both crazy. Sean is right, mi vida. Move your asses and run down the mountain. Get away from the smoke. I'll be there when you arrive.”

“What's happened, babe?” I asked Jules through our link, concerned for Mik and Stefan. Not to mention all the other people that were at that cabin.

“I can't talk right now, I need to get someone to the den for medical help. It's important. Just trust me that I'm alright. Stefan will see to things up here and be down behind us once he takes care of things here. It's crazy right now, but he's taking charge.”

“Did we lose anyone?” Colin asked with concern.

“I don't know yet, mi vida. I have to focus on the man I'm helping. We keep our promises, right? Now you two need to move. I can't do what I need to do if I'm worried about your safety. Can you just do this for me and we'll talk later?”

“Yes, Jules. I won't fight Sean even if he get's too alpha-y on me. We'll see you in a couple of hours.”

“Thank you, mi vida. Take care of each other for me. Colin, yes, Sean is an alpha. But you are the larger animal. The two of you need to work together and get each other there in one piece. Teamwork, my loves.”

I smiled. “Okay, Mr. Soldier Boy. We'll see you there. I love you.”

Colin added in: “Me too, Jules! I love you too!”

His warm voice filled our heads one last time. “I love you both too. Now I'm going to block our bond so that I can focus on the task at hand. See you soon. Remember, teamwork.”

I could feel it as he blocked the bond, it was as if a piece of us was missing all of a sudden. Colin must have felt the same bleak loss of connection, because he leaned over and nuzzled against my neck for a second. His long tongue flicked over my ear right before he took off running down the hill.

With a lighter heart, I took off after him. We ran down the mountainside together, only stopping once halfway down for a brief snack and water break in human form at my insistence. Once we'd replenished ourselves, I shifted so that Colin could help me back into the backpack and we ran the rest of the way to the den.

Chapter Nine

Jules

When I reached the cabin, I immediately let out a screeching roar to get everyone's attention. Mikael came into the doorway and looked at me in surprise as I shifted swiftly to human form.

“Alpha. Get your men out of here, we need evacuate immediately. This is a trap! Trust me, sir. There's a helicopter about two minutes away that is coming to fire at this place, if there aren't already explosives hidden.”

Mikael looked at me closely. “Where did you get this intel, Jules?”

“From years of experience gained from fighting evil people, sir. I would explain further, but I need you to trust my gut. Your mate called mine, he had a disturbing dream this morning that mirrors my intuition. Alpha, there's no time. Order your men out of here or they will all die.”

With a nod, Alpha walked out and yelled: “I know you all heard this conversation. If you value your lives, you have thirty seconds to get back to the cars and get the fuck out of here! Evacuate now, meet back at the den ASAP.”

Stefan came running over while I also yelled out orders to the men currently scrambling from the trees. I spoke with the authority that only comes from years of leading troops of trained soldiers into places that no man should have to go.

“Keep the vehicles hidden where you camouflaged them until you no longer hear the helicopter that is about to arrive. Get far away from here now, stay out of the open areas and away from the main road. Meet back at the vehicles when, and only when, the helicopter is gone. Move out, men!”

Stefan took the two rogue prisoners with him and headed into the trees. I shifted and had just made it back into the trees when I heard a gunshot, followed by an explosion. I was flung through the air by the force of the blast. Scrambling, I sunk my claws into a tree branch and managed to cling to it before I was hurt.

Flames crackled around me as the dry bits of dead wood, fallen leaves, and brush slowly caught up in flames. I ran back to the cabin just in time to see the helicopter leaving. Black smoke rose from the ruins of the cabin. Fuck. I hated to be right. I looked around, and my heart sank. Mikael was lying across the clearing in a puddle of blood. The skin was charred and peeling on his back that had lain exposed to the blast after he'd fallen.

There was a bullet wound on his back shoulder, that told me the shot I'd heard had been at him. Stefan came walking into the clearing, in a stunned fugue-like state, with a tearful Tommy at his side.

Zeroing in on Tommy, I spoke quickly. “Tell me what happened.”

“It was Butch. I didn't know, alpha! I swear it, I just wanted to do my part and be free. If you'll have me now, I'd like to stay and help you guys. My best friend turned on me when he did this to your Alpha.” The man was crying freely, and I sensed nothing but honesty from him.

Impatiently, I spoke. “Tommy. Focus, man. I'm sorry, but I'll need details so that I can proceed. We'll come back to your situation later, I promise. Now talk to me.”

The man nodded and quickly explained. “As soon as your back was turned and you were mid-shift, Butch whipped out a gun and shot the Alpha in the back while the two of us were busy shifting. Then the helicopter you warned us about came by and hovered over the trees there while the cabin just exploded behind us! Stefan and I got blown into the trees there. If we hadn't already shifted, it would've killed us for sure.”

I nodded, listening intently as I knelt down beside Mikael to check his vitals. I lifted his shoulder and peered underneath, relieved to see the exit hole that I'd expected. I looked up at Stefan. “Stefan! Come back to me, boy! I need you. The Alpha is alive, but he needs medical attention. Where should he be taken? The manor?”

When Stefan didn't respond, Tommy turned and slapped him across the face. Yep. That did it. Stefan jerked around, his eyes looking around wildly. I stood and strode over to him. I looked at Tommy and directed him to run get me a first-aid kit, some rope, and to send some men back to help us. Turning to Stefan while Tommy ran off to follow my instructions, I took him by the shoulders and gave him a light shake and caught his eyes.

“Stefan. I know this was a shock, boy. But I need you. I'm the only hope that Mikael has right now if he's to survive. It will take too long to drive him there on these roads, and we know the humans are probably already heading here by chopper as we speak to find the source of the flames and smoke up here. We can't risk the humans getting their hands on him. He needs a shifter doctor.”

Stefan finally focused on my face. “W-what's your plan, sir? I don't know what to do. I'm s-s-sorry.”

“I'm going to patch Mikael up as well as I can, and you two are going to tie him to my back. I will run like the wind and get him to the den. While I get him there, you'll call ahead and have the doctors watching for my arrival. Then you will do a head count and make sure that no man gets left behind. If there are any casualties, or injuries, bring them down first. Anyone who can't fit in the SUV's can shift and run home.”

I paused and looked at him for a moment, making sure that he was following me. “Also, I want you to keep Tommy here with you. He's our only asset right now with any knowledge of the other side. He had nothing to do with his friend's double cross. I can sense the truth in his words. And no offense, but he's used to leading his group of mercenaries. The man will be a good help to you in getting everyone out of here before the humans show up to investigate.”

Stefan nodded. “What do I do with Tommy after we're done?”

“You bring him home. I'll take responsibility for his presence in the den. I'm not going to reward his help right now by turning him away. By staying to help us when his buddy turned on us like that, he signed his death warrant with the rogues. We can't repay that kind of sacrifice with anything less than giving him a shot at redemption.”

Stefan looked uncomfortable, but reluctantly agreed. I squeezed his shoulders. “Don't worry, kid. It's my mate that the guy kidnapped yesterday. If I can look past his sins, I'm pretty sure that Mikael will too. None of your other alphas were here with you when this shit went down. The guys could have turned tail and run after the blast, and we would never have found him. But he didn't. So use his help, treat him kindly, and we'll figure it out later, okay?”

Clapping my hands together, I turned and went back to Mikael. It would be a bitch to haul him home lashed to my back. Mikael was a big Alpha. But luckily, my Jaguar was also big and he was a pretty strong fucking cat. I could do it. I've done it before, and in eerily similar situations too.

I heard my mates through our bond then, and realized that they were headed toward this shit-show. Nope. Had to shut that down. I had a brief conversation with them over our link, something I'd heard of from other fated pairings, but had obviously never experienced. I had to admit, it was kind of handy. Once I knew my mates were on their way to safety, I blocked our link and focused on the task at hand.

Shaking my head, I knelt down to examine the skin on Mikael's back. I wasn't too worried, it would repair itself. I just didn't want it getting infected before it had a chance to heal. Tommy came bursting back into the clearing carrying a large first-aid kit. A group of beta soldiers were at his heels.

I was happy to see Stefan taking charge as he directed the men to scour the area for any other victims. Working quickly, I cleaned and packed Mikael's gunshot wound as best as I could. Once I was satisfied that he wouldn't lose any more blood, I got to work cleaning and disinfecting the burns on his back.

After I had it clean and dry, I applied a topical spray that the kit contained for bad burns like the one on Mikael's back. Even though he was unconscious from the blood loss, the Alpha groaned as it touched the open wound area. Poor bastard. This had to hurt like a bitch, even though he was out of it. After I'd done the best I could do, I covered it loosely with a dry gauze dressing and carefully taped the edges down with surgical tape.

I looked up as Tommy came over and handed me a .22 cartridge. “This was over by where we were when Butch shot the Alpha. I thought it might help you to know what hit him.”

Thanking him, I called Stefan over and explained how I wanted them to lay Mikael across my back once I'd shifted along with how and where the ropes should be tied. It felt like a lifetime had gone by since this all started, but honestly? It had only been about fifteen minutes now. I needed to move, and get the Alpha to help.

After I was satisfied that things were under control to the best of my ability, I transitioned into my Jaguar and waited while Stefan and Tommy carefully laid Mikael on his stomach lengthwise down my back.

His hands were tucked beneath him to keep them from flopping around. My back was long enough that with Mikael's cheek laying against the back of my head, his legs hung out behind only from mid-shin down. Tommy took over and tied a complicated series of knots that successfully lashed the Alpha's shoulders, hips and knees against me in such a way that he wouldn't be injured or come loose as I ran. I wouldn't be hindered, slowed down, or choked either.

I did a few test movements, to make sure that everything was as solid as I thought it was by how it felt when they were working. Once I was satisfied, I nodded my thanks to Tommy and Stefan before taking off at top speed. I was on a mission now, and wouldn't stop until I had my Alpha to where he'd get the help he needed.

Chapter Ten

Colin

When Sean and I arrived at the Alpha's manor, his brother was waiting for us. We broke through the treeline into the Alpha's backyard. I shifted to human form, and removed the pack from Sean's back so that he could shift too. Sean opened the pack, and pulled out some shorts and shirts that he had in there. We both quickly dressed and then I carried the backpack as I followed my mate toward where his brother waited.

The Alpha Mate stood in the entrance of a pretty gazebo, the future Alpha Heir asleep in his arms. I smiled as I took in the light green color he'd recently dyed his hair. The color was especially fitting since my mate's brother looked remarkably like a woodland sprite. The last time I'd seen him, it had been pink. My smile faded though when we got close enough that I could see the tears streaking from his swollen, blood-shot eyes. Eyes that were filled with desolate pain and fear.

Sean ran to his brother, sweeping his brother and nephew up against his chest. As Taylor broke down in tears, I slipped in and carefully took the baby from him. Sean smiled his appreciation to me and lifted his brother up, carrying him into the gazebo. We sat on the softly cushioned benches that were lined up around the round interior: Sean holding Taylor, and me holding the cub.

As I sat there cuddling the baby, I slowly became aware of three more tiny heartbeats. Hiding my reaction, I gently inhaled and took a long sniff of my body. Yep. Sure enough. I was pregnant. And with multiples, since I could definitely hear their heartbeats. I focused on entertaining the Alpha Pair's cub while my mind raced.

The nice but bad thing about being a bear omega, is that we don't need to be in heat to get pregnant. As a rule, we aren't that fertile outside of fated-matings, so it's usually not an issue. The only bear families with multiple children were usually those with fated-mates.

I wanted to tell my mates through our bond, before another bear smelled me and told them first. But given that something bad had obviously happened, now wasn't the time. I bit back a sigh as I smiled down at the cub. What a week we were having! Horrible things and joyous things happening back to back, left and right. It was crazy.

Also, I still needed to see about burying my parents and decide what to do with our property and business. As much as I loved my family home, it wouldn't be big enough for three mates and three cubs. Wait. Cubs? What if it was pups? And what were Jaguar young called anyway? I would have to find out if we had one or more of those.

Screw it. I would just call them all cubs, I decided. I'm a bear, I'll call my children whatever the hell I want. I mean, I'm the one that has to carry them for five months and push them out at the end. That was one advantage the wolves had, I had to admit. Their pregnancies only lasted three months instead of the four to five that I had to look forward to enduring. Looking down at the adorable cub in my arms though? Totally worth it.

I looked up when I scented Jules approaching. He was walking with Peter, our den beta captain and second-in-command to the Alpha. They both looked serious. Taylor jumped up and rushed to greet them as they joined us in the gazebo.

“How is he? Is there any news? He's alive, I know that because I can feel him in our bond. TELL ME SOMETHING!!!” Taylor grabbed Peter's polo shirt collar as he yelled the last part. The fear and desperation wafting from the Alpha Mate were breaking my heart. Especially now that I suddenly realized that something had happened to Alpha  Mikael. Ah. Now Jules' insistence that Sean and I meet him here made more sense.

Peter brought his hands up and gently covered Taylor's, carefully pulling them down from his collar while he spoke.

“Alpha came through the surgery fine, Taylor. He woke up briefly, but was incoherent and went right back to sleep. The doctor has a morphine drip running into him, and plans to keep him sedated for the next few days while his body recovers.”

Jules smiled gently at Taylor. “Dr. Dean says that you can see him now, if you feel strong enough to be calm this time. We can put a cot in there if you want to stay with him. I already spoke to the doctor about it.”

Taylor beamed at Jules as Sean came up and put his arm around his brother. “What's this about you being calm this time, munchkin? Did you actually throw a fit in your mate's sickroom? Seriously?”

The tension broke with Sean's casual sibling behavior. Taylor spun around and hugged Sean. “Thanks for coming so fast, Sean,” he mumbled against Sean's chest. “I did lose my shit though, like, for real. I may or may not have threatened to have Mikael shun Dr. Dean if she didn't fix him and make the pain go away that instant. I'm not sure though, I was kinda freaking out at the time.”

Jules spoke up then. “Taylor had a right to freak out, Sean. The cabin had a bomb detonate. I got there in time to get Mikael out of there and the men from the clearing. But the rogue wolf, Butch? He shot Mikael in the back when none of us were looking. Then the explosion happened, and Mik's bare back was burned pretty badly.”

I gasped in horror. “And where were you? Have you been checked out? How did you get the Alpha here so fast?”

Jules glanced from me to Sean. He clearly didn't want to talk about it, but all four of us were looking at him expectantly. Knowing Jules, he hadn't told Peter or Taylor all of the events of the morning either.

“I was thrown into the trees, actually. I managed to catch a tree with my claws, since I was in cat form at the time. I wasn't hurt though. Alpha needed my help, or he wouldn't have made it down the mountain. Tommy and Stefan tied him faced down on my back, and I ran him here to get help. If we'd stayed there, the humans would've found us and that wouldn't have been good for our Alpha since he needed a shifter doctor.”

Peter spoke first. “I have not been able to reach Stefan by phone, do you know where he is now? And who is this Tommy person?”

Jules explained. “Stefan and Tommy were sweeping the area to make sure there were no other victims or casualties when I left. They will probably be here with all the patrolmen in about an hour or so. As you know, that road is slow going when you're having to drive it.”

He jerked his chin toward the mountains behind us. “As you can see by the smoke up on the ridge, the explosion caused a fire. I heard choppers overhead as I ran through the woods. I'm hoping that the humans will be able to get it under control before much of the mountain burns. My priority was to get our people off the mountain, and that's what we did. I'm sure that Stefan probably lost his phone or he'd have answered. Try calling one of your other men, Peter.”

Peter nodded. “And this Tommy?”

Jules sighed and shook his head. “We need to decide what to do with him. He was our prisoner. He's a wolf shifter, and a mercenary that ran one of the rogue packs for Yvonne, along with his best friend. When we got there last night, he surrendered and was completely forthcoming with Mikael. Mikael had planned to show him mercy after the meeting, and let him go free.”

“So is that what we need to do while Mikael is incapacitated?” Peter asked.

“No, sir. We need to protect him. His cohort turned on us, and is the one who shot Mikael in the back while Tommy and Stefan were mid-shift and trying to evacuate after the Alpha and I called for it. When he chose to stay and help me save the Alpha instead of following his friend, he basically signed his death warrant with the rogues.”

Peter sighed. “What am I supposed to do then? I cannot sentence the man to death by kicking him loose, but we can hardly let him stay close to us here.”

Jules nodded. “If it helps, I scented nothing but genuine contrition, honesty, and a willingness to help us today. His work for the rogues was just a paycheck for him, he had no idea of the politics involved or which side was on the right. You should also know that he was involved in the planning of that accident yesterday that took the lives of my omega mate's parents, as well as the kidnapping of my mate.”

I spoke up then, before Peter could formulate an opinion. “But while I was held captive, he kept a group of five alphas from raping me. He fought them off and protected me, despite the fact that he was culpable in getting me there. He's not a bad person. He was just working for the wrong people. If my mate and I are willing to give him another chance and forgive him for his role in yesterday's events, I think that you should keep that in mind as you weigh your decision, beta captain. Although, I will say one more thing. If you keep him around? Give him a bar of soap, a gallon of shampoo and point him to the nearest shower. And maybe some flea dip. Seriously. Consider it a community improvement project.”

Jules grinned at me before he added a final thought. “There are another couple of important points to consider, sir. First, the man is the only link we have found so far to the rogue organization. He gave me a phone that reached Yvonne, it's in my backpack over there with my omega mate. I doubt the number works, but our tech guys can use the messages, emails, and other numbers in that phone to hopefully dig deeper into the network of rogue packs. Tommy can be a big help with this, I have no doubt.”

Peter nodded thoughtfully as Jules continued. “The second point that I would like to make is that the man has a military background like I do. It's obvious by the way he leads his men, and plans his attacks. He's been working as a mercenary and leading groups more recently. Our beta patrolmen need better leaders. You bears are strong and protective, but you're not cagey warriors by nature. Especially the more placid betas.”

Peter asked: “What would you suggest then, Jules? I am open to hearing your opinions. I will admit that I am at a loss here.”

“Personally? Keep him nearby, but keep an eye on him. Put him on probation until you and Mikael are confident that you can trust him. He doesn't have to live here in the den to work for you. Have him stay in town where you can keep an eye on him but your citizens aren't as vulnerable. Just have one of your alphas room with him or something.”

“I will give this some thought. In the meantime, I will arrange a room for him at a boardinghouse in town that one of our den citizens owns and runs. It caters to shifters, so he will be at home there while we decide, yes? I will tell him this when they arrive, and let him know that no permanent decision can be made until the Alpha awakens and is ready to resume leadership.” Peter turned to go back inside, but turned suddenly with another thought.

“Thank you, Jules. Not only for your welcome advice, but for your help up on the mountain. And also for getting our Alpha home. We can never repay you for your loyalty.” Peter nodded toward me with a smile. “And may I be the first to congratulate you?”

Sean looked confused, but when Jules looked over at me with a new awareness in his eyes, I could tell that he knew my secret. He turned back to Peter and smiled. “Thank you, beta captain. My mates and I are very happy.”

Sean smiled then, thinking that Peter had been referring to our mating. Jules' eyes twinkled at me knowingly. We would wait to tell Sean when we were alone. Peter turned to Taylor before he left.

“Taylor? Shall we take the cub to Walt? He can babysit while I take you to your mate, yes?” Peter waited expectantly while Taylor nodded.

He turned and hugged Sean one more time. “Promise you won't leave without saying good-bye, Seannie? I might need another one of your awesome hugs.”

Sean chuckled into his brother's hair and gave his word not to leave without telling him. Taylor flitted over and took his son after giving me a quick hug. “I'm looking forward to getting to know you better now, Colin. Thanks for taking care of Alec for me just now. I'm glad that my brother mated a progressive omega bear that talks like a normal person and isn't afraid to work outside the home. I can't wait to get more of your soups, by the way. Hint, hint.”

I laughed and thanked him. He walked out with Peter, somehow managing to look every bit the proper Alpha Mate despite resembling a hip woodland fairy with those decorative holes in his ears. I realized all of a sudden that Sean was watching me with a soft look in his eyes.

“What?” I asked him. “Why are you looking at me like that, Sean?”

He grinned over at Jules, then back at me. “Peter wasn't talking about our mating right there, was he? I just remembered that neat little trick that you bears all have with those special noses of yours.”

I snorted. “Well, I hate to break it to you, but apparently Jules has a special nose too. He obviously knows already.”

Jules shrugged. “I figured that you wanted to tell him, mi vida. It's not our faults that we can't be surprised.”

Sean walked over and knelt in front me, taking my hands as he looked into my eyes. “Were you planning to tell me when we were alone? Guess what? We're alone. When did you know?”

I blushed. “When I was holding your nephew. And I heard the heartbeats. I probably couldn't smell them earlier because of the smoke up there on the mountain.”

Sean's mouth opened and closed a few times before he finally croaked out a response. “Heartbeats? Them?” He looked over at Jules desperately. “Is Colin fucking with me?”

Jules came over and sat down beside us, putting an arm around me and resting his other hand on Sean's shoulder. “Sean? Stay with us here, cara. Don't freak out when I tell you this next part, okay?”

Sean nodded, his eyes wide. Jules leaned over and kissed my cheek before telling our mate: “Colin is pregnant with triplets. But don't worry, bears take four to five months to gestate. We'll have time to prepare. Usually five, but probably closer to four since it's multiples.”

Sean looked back and forth between us, then down at my flat stomach, then back up at me and over at Jules. Then his eyes rolled back and he slumped over sideways. Jules looked at me and shrugged. “Well, that went better than I expected.”

Chapter Eleven

Sean

We sat on either side of Colin, holding his hands during the funeral and giving him our silent support. The entire den had shown up to mourn the sudden, tragic loss of two citizens. The church was surprisingly fancy for the uptight bear den.

I'd honestly expected hard wooden benches in a plain, windowless room. Instead, it was a large gorgeous temple with stained glass windows depicting different portraits of their goddess, Artio.

The altars were draped with velvet cloths and silver chalices. Candles were lit in crystal votive cups, and fragrant incense filled the air. The pew were wooden, but covered in soft pads that made it comfortable to sit on. The marble floors and columns would rival many of the larger cathedrals around the world.

It was an impressive display of the den's wealth. Aside from the Alpha's manor, I hadn't noticed a lot of fanciness here. The people all seemed to dress plainly, like the suburban middle class humans with their polo shirts and khakis. I hadn't given their financial situation much thought, but it made sense that they had accrued wealth.

They all owned businesses in the human town nearby, but lived here in simple homes. They drove sedans and kept to themselves. I supposed the money they saved on entertainment, bigger houses and fancier cars probably just built up in the bank. As I realized this, I had a better idea of why Yvonne wanted to steal this den from Mikael.

Today though, whether in deference to their goddess or the deaths we were here to mourn, the men were all dressed in their finest suits and the ladies wore dresses with those silly little fascinator hats that I'd always associated with British people.

I pulled my mind back to the reason that I was here when I heard Colin suck in a breath as two caskets were carried in by stiff necked pallbearers whose air of solemnity had me feeling like a jerk.

Squeezing Colin's hand, I tilted my head closer to his and whispered: “It's okay, baby. We're here for you. You don't have to be strong, that's why you have mates. We will be there when you need a shoulder to lean on.”

Colin looked up at me with a trembling smile, his emerald green eyes filled with tears already. Jules slid a handkerchief from the inner pocket of his suit and turned to dab at our omega's eyes. After pressing a kiss to Colin's cheek, he sat back up with his perfect military posture.

A hush fell over the room, and without turning, I knew that the Alpha family had arrived. Mikael's strong Alpha power proceeded him everywhere he went. It would be scary if I didn't know what a nice guy he was and how much he loved my brother.

Mikael had made a determined effort to come today, despite his doctor's misgivings. We'd held the funeral off for a week, so that he could attend. He'd felt it was important for the den to see their leader healthy and strong. And that he hadn't been permanently injured by his sister's attack.

They sat beside us on the front row, to the left of Jules. I smiled when I saw my little nephew all dolled up in the frilly little lace gown that trailed about three feet longer than he did. I glanced at Colin's flat stomach, already wondering what our little ones would be, who they would look like, and if I would be a good father.

My mates were definitely father material, but I was concerned about my own skills. Taylor had hated me for years, thinking that I was too oppressive. What if I was like that with my own children? But then, I'd become responsible for Taylor when I was barely out of my teens. I had to be tough or he never would've listened to me.

The music was starting now, so I forced myself to focus on the service. It wasn't that I didn't want to be here, I did. I just tended to disassociate at funerals. My parents' funeral had been enough to turn me off them for life. There was nothing I wouldn't do for Colin though. That's why I was sitting here in an uncomfortable suit being choked by a tie. I would do this ten times over, if only he didn't have to be going through this pain.

The rest of the service was a beautifully done display of respect for the deceased that paid tribute to their memories. Colin got up and spoke, surprising me with his ability to stand there with a clear voice and well-constructed thoughts. It's not because he's an omega that this impressed me, but because I knew what a mess I was at my own parents' funeral. There was no way I could have done the same, and definitely not as well done.

By the time the service was over, I was wrung out. Jules was as smoothly perfect as ever, and Colin just seemed to be holding himself together to make it through. After the funeral, we had a brief graveside burial service followed by a lavish reception at the Alpha manor.

Halfway through the reception, Colin turned to me and said softly: “Please take me out of here. I'm done. I need to be anywhere but here.” I got Jules' attention who was in conversation with Peter and Mikael. I tipped my chin toward the stairs to let him know that we were leaving. He nodded, his eyes looking over Colin with concern.

I took Colin's hand and rushed him through the crowd of people before anyone could stop us to give him their condolences. We went upstairs to the large guestroom that we were currently occupying near the Alpha's suite. Taylor had insisted that we stay here until we found a home of our own. This wouldn't work long-term, but for now it was a safe place for us.

As soon as the door closed, Colin was rushing into my arms and attacking my mouth for a kiss. We kissed almost desperately as his hands made quick work of my tie. He ripped it free of my collar and shoved it into his pocket, before fumbling with my shirt buttons. Somehow we worked our way across the room, pieces of our suits landing in various spots around the floor. I was down to my boxers and one black trouser sock when I felt my knees hit the edge of our bed.

Colin broke our kiss, looking at me with fully dilated pupils as he gasped for breath. He planted his palms on my chest, and shoved me down on the bed. With one smooth move, he yanked off my boxers and the stray sock, tossing them behind us. Holding up a single finger, he pointed at me and said: “Don't move. I'll be right back.”

He stood and finished undressing, tossing his own clothes to side before turning and walking away. I craned my neck and watched as he stopped to pick up his tie that had landed over the edge of a lampshade, before walking into the closet. He came back with a few more ties in his hand saying: “Scoot to the middle, and spread 'em, babe. After the day I just had? This is my show, you good with that?”

Nodding emphatically, I scooted into place. Entranced, I watched as Colin took the ties, along with mine that he'd shoved in his pocket, and proceeded to tie me to the bed posts. It was a wide stretch, given that ours was a king size bed. But I was tall and with long enough limbs, that it worked.

Crawling onto the bed, Colin straddled my hips and said: “Do you trust me?”

“Of course, I do. You should know that by now, baby.”

“Perfect. If at any time you can't handle anything I'm doing to you, knock on the headboard. Can you remember that?”

“Sure, but why wouldn't I just tell you?” I asked.

“Because,” he said with a wicked grin as he held up two more ties. “You won't be able to talk, Sean.”

I gulped then opened wide when he lightly slapped my cheek. With a quick wink, he shoved a tied into my mouth. The other tie he slid under my head and wrapped around to tie over my mouth and hold the gag in place.

Sliding down, he started by kissing my alpha-gland while pinching my nipples. I heard the door close and the deep voice of my alpha mate saying: “Well, what have we here? Looks like I left the reception just in time.”

Colin sat up and looked over his shoulder. “Perfect timing. I was just trying to decide what to do with our mate here. I don't know if you noticed, but he was a naughty boy today. I think his mind was wandering a lot, and not focusing. What do you think?”

Jules grinned. “I think that Sean definitely has his reasons if his mind wandered, but probably is more than willing to help you work out your stress of the day if you want to use his body to do it. What do you have in mind?”

“I want you to lick him all over and tease him to the point of insanity, and then I want to fuck his tight ass.” Colin stroked his cock while he spoke. I watched each movement, wanting that hand on my own cock but unable to move or speak my wishes.

Jules grinned at my involuntary whimper, his eyes tracking mine as I watched Colin's hand move. He quickly began to strip down. “Mi vida, what would you like after you fuck Sean? Is that all you would like tonight? Or do you need more?”

Colin grinned. “How about if I fuck him first, to get him nice and loose, then I ride his knot while you finish him off for me?”

“I can work with that, mi vida. But first, why don't you put this on our boy? He will last much longer for us.” Jules reached into a dresser drawer and removed a studded leather band. “This is adjustable, just put it around the base of his cock and fasten it as tightly as you can.”

He reached around then and smacked Colin on the ass. “Get over there and put it on him before you lick his little pucker, mi vida. I need you to start loosening it for us.”

Colin went to the end of the bed without another word and climbed up between my legs. He knelt down and began to slowly lick along my inner thighs while Jules came and stretched out beside me.

Jules ran a finger along my jawline, murmuring: “I wish I could kiss your full lips right now, cara. But our mate had a good idea here. You look lovely all trussed up and gagged. Look at you, all spread out for us to do what we will with your delicious body.”

His finger was grazing my skin as he spoke, barely touching me with a feather light pressure that left a tingle in its wake. Sitting up, he knelt over me and began to follow his finger with an equally feather light graze of his tongue.

He moved over to my ears, stopping to actually nip on my lobe. His finger played with my left ear while he licked the right.  He knew quite well that my ears were a major turn-on for me. Catching my lobe between his teeth, the bastard tugged on it while moving the finger from my left ear and trailing it ever so slowly along the side of my neck.

While he was toying with my ears, which could almost make me come all on its own, Colin was busily licking and fingering the rim of my pink pucker. The combination had me jerking my hips, my cock swollen and jutting proudly above my stomach. Clear fluid leaked from my slit, dripping down my cock and onto my abs.

When my hips jerked, Colin stopped and said: “No. If you move, we stop. Right, Jules? Look at those hips, just jerking around. Can we allow that?”

Jules chuckled and sat up, removing his tongue and fingers from my body. I whimpered, my head thrashing from side to side as I pleaded with my eyes for them to continue. “Sorry, cara. This is Colin's show. I must obey him tonight. If he says stop, I stop. I would suggest, that maybe you try to be still?”

I forced myself to be still as Colin reached between his own legs and swiped some of his slick and began to rub it against my hole. “You may proceed, kitty cat. But if you see him move, stop at once, okay? The only thing is, if he knocks on the wall, that's the sign that he's done and we have to stop all together.”

Jules chuckled as he looked at me knowingly. “Yeah. Like that's gonna happen. But yes, mi vida, if I see him move then I will stop.”

While Jules resumed his oral assault on my body, Colin was stretching my hole with his deft fingers. By the time he had three fingers inside me, I knew it wouldn't be much longer before I found release.

Jules was slowly licking my ribs, slowing to nuzzle deeply into my armpits and inhale my scent. Then he was licking my pits with slow, deliberate stripes of his flattened tongue. I wondered if he was into what he was doing, when I heard the start of his rumbling purr.

His fingers were tracing light circles around first one nipple then the other, stopping to tug on it before moving back to the other, all while licking, licking, licking my armpit. The sensation was so much more intense than I would have expected.

I closed my eyes and gave in to the dual sensations of my two lovers attentions. Right as I was floating on a sea of bliss from Jules' tonguing, I felt Colin's cock push into with one smooth thrust. I opened my eyes, to see him braced above me with his hands on either side of my head while he rocked into me with slow, steady rolls of his hips.

Jules shifted and moved his head between us to lap at Colin's nipples. Colin let out a soft gasp, and sped up his thrusts. I couldn't see what he was doing to our omega's nipples and chest, but I could tell by the way that my ass was being pounded that Colin liked it. A lot.

Colin grunted, and with several quick, short jerks of his slim hips, began to fill my ass with his load of cum. Jules moved up to his knees and took Colin's face in his hands and began to kiss him. I craned my neck, looking longingly down at my purple cock. It looked so angry, with the need to come, to knot, to release! I dropped my head before they decided to stop again.

Nothing got past Jules though, who reached down and gave a hard tweak to my nipple while continuing to kiss the air out of Colin's lungs. After several hours, hell, maybe it was seconds, I had no clue; Jules pulled away and turned to grab a pillow from beside me. He shot me a wink, telling me that I was about to really die. And I would love every second of it.

Colin pulled off me, kneeling between my legs and watching as Jules lifted my hips and shoved the pillow beneath them. With one quick motion, he ripped off the leather cock strap and leaned over my alpha gland. He struck quickly, sinking his teeth into my skin over my claim-bite scar while giving a few quick, firm strokes to my cock.

I saw stars as fire shot down my spine and burst out of my cock, spraying my chest with cum. Jules licked where he'd bitten, then turned and began licking the cream from my chest. Colin joined him and together they cleaned away the evidence of my release.

My cock was still hard, I hadn't knotted yet. The quick release I'd had was just a prequel to the main event apparently. Colin looked at Jules, “How should I face? Do you want to watch my ass while I fuck him so that I can spray him when I come? Or do you want my cream and he can watch my ass while I ride his knot?”

Jules' eyes glazed over as he considered his options. I couldn't believe they were kneeling on either side of me casually discussing this while I lay here unable to touch them or get them to touch me. It was frustrating. It was irritating. It was...hot as fuck.

Finally, Jules spoke. “Face our mate, mi vida. After we are finished, and are ready to sleep, he will need to be cuddled and held after the torture we have put him through. One of us needs to be able to face him for that, it's only fair.”

Colin looked over at me, his eyes shining with a curious mix of love and desire. He flipped a leg over my hips and climbed on top of me. He braced his hands on my chest and raised his ass. Jules ran a slow hand across my balls and up my shaft, stroking me a few times before guiding my shaft toward Colin's entrance.

With his other hand, Jules guided Colin backward onto my rock hard cock. Colin's eyelids fluttered as he rocked back and forth to get himself ready. His eyes opened, and he looked directly into mine as he slowly raised and lowered himself on my cock. His thighs flexed as he rode me.

Jules got up and moved around the bed, patiently untying me, although his own cock was jutting out and ready for action. He looked at Colin's questioning expression and shrugged. “It will be too difficult to reach these when we are all knotted together. I figured I should do this now.”

Colin nodded but looked at me sternly. “Hands behind your head, you're still my slave. No touching until I say, got it?”

I nodded, still gagged and unable to speak. Once my hands were free, I did as he said and clasped my hands behind my head. I laid there and enjoyed watching my omega ride me the way he wanted. He was speeding up now, hands holding onto my chest while he bounced up and down on my cock.

Jules came up behind him, bending my knees up and guiding me to plant my feet. He rubbed my still loosened hole with three fingers, reaching in and rubbing my prostate a few times before pulling his fingers out again and holding them up to show me Colin's seed dripping from his fingers.

He made a visible display of licking his fingers clean before reaching under me and spreading my cheeks apart with a firm grip his hands. Without warning, he was slamming into me with one hard thrust. Oh, fuck! I wasn't getting smooth and slow Jules tonight. Tonight I was going to get the horny and down to fuck Jules. Mmm. My favorite.

With Colin bouncing up and down on my cock and Jules slamming in and out of my ass, I knew this was going to be hard and fast. My knot began to swell without warning, forcing Colin to make shorter movements.

Jules' knotting vortex was swelling too, teasing my rim with its delightful texture with every pass as he pumped in and out. Between his fat cock head and those amazing nubbins rubbing against my prostate, I was seeing stars. My entire body felt weightless as lighting flashed through my bloodstream.

All too soon, my knot swelled to its full size, and Colin was completely stuck on it. His face was flushed red, sweat dripping from his body and mixing with the sweat that already coated mine. Colin's head rolled back and he grabbed his dick, stroking fast.               The dual sensation of his ass hugging my knot and Jules' now firmly wedged cock in my ass was too much, and I lost it. My ass clenched around Jules' cock and I howled around the fucking gag in my mouth.

The gag muffled it, thankfully, or the whole damn manor would have heard me scream as I came hard inside of Colin. I came so much that cum was oozing from his ass and onto my lap, despite him being plugged by my knot.

Colin came right behind me, his ass milking the remnants of cum from my abused cock while he sprayed my chest with thick globs of cream. Gasping, I watched Jules' eyes roll back as he finally shot his own release into my ass.

He leaned forward, obviously needing to collapse, pushing Colin down onto my chest. Jules' big arms came around the both of us as he rolled all three of us onto our sides. We did our usual wiggle, wriggle, squirm until we were all settled comfortably.

Colin looked up at me with dreamy eyes, and did a double take. He bit back a giggle and reached up to untie and remove my gag. I worked my jaw from side to side, trying to work out the stiffness from being gagged for so long.

“Can I move my arms now too?” I asked in a hoarse voice. Colin lost his fight then, nodding his head while he giggled uncontrollably. Jules shot me a wry grin while he reached behind him and deftly snagged a bottle of water from his nightstand.

I eyed it greedily as he opened it and handed it over. “I thought you'd probably need that after being gagged. Your mouth must be dryer than the fucking Sahara right now.”

Nodding, I guzzled half the bottle before passing it back. “Yeah, but fuck. Totally worth it. I think I almost died a few times there, but damn. What a way to go.”

Chapter Twelve

Colin

We'd finally decided that living in the den wasn't going to work for us for much longer. We had spent almost three months here, and it was time to find our own place. Sean needed to be busy, and there wasn't anything here for him to do other than patrols. He could do that living in town, and not get into silly arguments with his brother every other day. Jules needed more autonomy than shifter life offered. And I needed to get back to work and reopen my family business.

I walked into the deli with my mates, my nose wrinkling at the build up of dust. Sean and Jules had come and removed all the perishable foods the day after we'd returned to the den. While I'd been planning my parents' funeral, my mates had been donating the food to a local human food bank.

Jules and Sean walked around, looking at the deli and waiting to hear what I had in mind. I tapped my fingertips on the glass display, and gave a firm nod. With one hand on my now fully rounded belly, I walked over and took a seat at one of the small cafe tables by the window.

“When we were open, my soups and few select sandwiches were what sold. With your support, I'd like to reopen and make a few changes.” I said hesitantly. Money wasn't an issue. My dads had left me well taken care of in that respect.

Jules and Sean came over and joined me, taking seats on either side of mine. Sean reached for my hand, while Jules rubbed a hand up and down my back. “What are you thinking, baby? Talk to us,” Sean said in his casual manner.

“First of all, I want to change the name. Andrews Family Deli is too bland, and no longer applies anyway. We'll brainstorm that later. I want to put both of your names on the business, as well. It's only right. And you guys need to figure out how involved you want to be here. I don't want to force you into a business you have no interest in just because this is my dream.”

Jules asked: “Why do you want to be here, mi vida? Tell me why this is your dream. Your passion. Why does it make your soul sing? I want to know what is going on behind those crazy curls and bright green eyes.”

Sean and I grinned at each other. We were always amused by our pretty kitty when he got deep and poetic. Answering him, I said: “I grew up here, and it's what I know, but that's not it. After I finished high school, I took a two year culinary course. After I got my degree there, I returned home and came back here to work.”

They were both listening with interest. “My Papa wouldn't let me make any real changes to his menu, but Daddy talked him into letting me add on a few soups. I made a soup of the day, along with a chicken noodle, and a minestrone. Within a matter of weeks, we were suddenly a hit. People would call ahead so much to hear the soup of the day, that we had to put it on a recording. The humans posted pics of them eating my soup all over their social media pages.”

Sean shook his head. “That's awesome, Colin. I had no idea. You need to be back here then! What do we need to do to make that happen?”

“Well, my name is already on the business license as a full partner. Papa did that when I turned twenty-one to make sure that I would have security if something ever happened to them.” I swallowed and took a deep breath before continuing.

“All we have to do legally, I think, is open the doors. Everything is up to code, and in date. But I don't want to do that. I want to do soup and sandwich pairings. Offer a half sandwich and cup of soup combo with a drink maybe? I don't want to do just deli meat platters or stock all of the rare cheeses and fifty-million kinds of salami like my Papa did.”

Jules was nodding, his eyes looking around at the glass display cases while I spoke. Looking back at me, he correctly deduced: “And for this, you will need to change the layout over there. I'm not an expert, but I can see that you'll need new display cases.”

Sean added his thoughts. “You'll also need to get bids for a kitchen remodel. You should also have a website to market the place. Instead of calling a recording like it's 1998, people should be able to log on right from their phones to see a daily update of what the menu is for the day. If you plan your menus in advance, we could set it up to update with the changes automatically at midnight. It wouldn't be hard to set it up, after that it's just maintenance. You'll also want party brochures for sandwich platters, paper menus, and business cards. Of course, we'll need the new name first.”

Jules and I looked at him with open mouths while he shared his thoughts. When he realized we were staring, he shrugged with a blush. “I may or may not have a degree in business with a minor in marketing. I had to support me and the munchkin, you know? Even though I lived in a pack structure recently, I've always felt comfortable among the humans. I only moved into the more formal pack living when Taylor got old enough to start getting wild. I've never really liked it, but it was a necessity.”

I scrunched my nose as my brain went into overdrive. “But I thought I heard you were in the military like Jules?”

Sean scoffed. “From my brother, no doubt. No, that's our pretty kitty's thing. I did four years in the Army National Guard while I worked my way through college. But that was over with about six or seven years ago.”

Jules asked: “Wait. How old are you? I should know this, I'm sorry. I assumed you were about twenty-five.”

Sean snorted. “That's because of my baby face and this silly white blonde hair. No, I'm thirty-two. Why? How old are you guys? And how weird is it that we've been mated for almost three months and don't know such a basic fact about our mates? Maybe we should fuck less and talk more, or something.”

“No,” I said quickly. “I mean, we could talk while we fuck if you want?” I grinned and added: “I'm the one that's twenty-five, by the way. How old is Taylor? I thought it was weird that you were so parental with him if you were only a few years apart. This is making more sense now.”

Sean nodded. “Yeah, I can see that. But no, Taylor is twenty-three. He was half my age when our parents died. We were nine and eighteen. I act parental with him because that's pretty much what I've been, to be honest.”

Jules was shaking his head in dismay. “I thought that I was at least ten years older than Colin, and that you were about partway in between. But shit. You and I are the same age, Sean. That surprises me, which as you both know by now is hard to do.”

I looked at them both, amused by how we were still learning such basic things about each other. “Okay. So, what I need to know, is how involved you guys want to be in this venture. Then we can start making lists and plans, once we know who's in or out.”

Jules looked at me with a raised brow. “Are you kidding me? Of course we're in. What's important to one of us is important to all of us. Right, Sean?”

Sean nodded. “I don't know about Jules, but I can manage the office part of the business if you want. Set up a web presence, take care of marketing, and deal with the licenses and all that fun shit. By the time the babies come, we can have a smooth plan in place to make this a family business just like your family did.”

Jules said: “I don't know about cooking or marketing, but I can run a team. I can also make a mean sandwich. And I am easily trained. If I run the front and handle the day to day things, you would be free to do what you want creatively. If the humans were that nuts about your soups, I'd say that we put our focus on that market. Stake your claim, mi vida.”

I smiled with relief. “Good, I'm so happy to hear that from both of you. Each of us brings a different skill set to the table, but between the three of us, we are perfectly equipped to run this business together. With Jules managing the front end, Sean running the office, and me in back running the kitchen? We are sure to succeed. We just need to hire an employee or two, I would think.”

Jules said: “Well, I noticed the previous hours were only from 10-2pm. Is that really all that you were open?”

I nodded. “Papa didn't want employees, and they didn't want to be here all day. After the lunch rush, we closed for the day. I'd like to be open from 11-9, to be honest.”

Jules nodded. “Then we'll need a full staff. At least six people to start, since one of them will invariably call in. I'll start looking, while Sean gets that website going. You and I can also talk to a few contractors and see about getting this place remodeled. It helps that you own the building. Then once it's all nice and pretty again, we'll have a grand re-opening party under the new name. What do you think?”

I smiled happily as I gave him my answer. “I think it's everything that I wanted and more. I'm just glad that we can afford the remodel, because it will make all the difference going forward.”

Jules slapped a palm on the table. “Good. Now, walk me around and show me what you're thinking for the remodel. I want to get started calling contractors when we get back to the den. The sooner we put things in motion, the sooner we can start selling your popular soups to the hungry humans again.”

Sean spoke up then. “Before all that happens? I need you guys to know that I made an appointment with a realtor this afternoon here in town. I was trying to find a way to tell you both, because I didn't want to make assumptions. But I think our family will be safer out of the den, since that's where Yvonne is focused. Also, I really just need to get out of my brother's manor. Seriously.”

Jules said: “Did you now? I guess I'd better cancel the one that I made with a realtor for tomorrow. I was planning to surprise you. And I agree. Strategically, we'll be safer tucked in among the humans. We can still run patrols and assist in defense when Mikael needs us, but our family will be better off here in town. Hmm. Maybe Colin is right. We should try talking while we fuck since we can't seem to find the time or the inclination otherwise.”

Chapter Thirteen

Sean

“Do we need anything from the store while I'm out? I need to hit the road.” I walked into the kitchen of our new house here in town, smiling at the sight of my heavily pregnant mate sitting on a stool at the wide, granite topped island counter and instructing our alpha mate while he attempted to make an omelet.

I paused to give Colin a slow kiss, running my hand up his back and playing with his bouncy curls. “Excuse me, I'm trying to get a lesson here. Remove your lips from our omega so that he can tell me how to fold this before I wreck it.”

Breaking our kiss, I bent and kissed the big, round baby bump. Colin ignored me, and began directing Jules with the folding of the omelet. Before I stood, I rubbed a hand between his legs making sure to cup his balls and give a little squeeze. He giggled and shoved at my chest. “Quit it, Sean. Honestly. You just had your knot up my ass a few hours ago. Now let me talk Jules through this omelet.”

Chuckling, I turned to find Jules glaring at me with his arms crossed over his chest and the now ruined, cracked omelet sitting on the burner. I shook my head. “So, you need me to pick up more eggs then?”

Colin busted up laughing behind me, but Jules continued to stare me down with an impassive glare. I walked over and bumped my hips against his as I walked him back a foot until he bumped into the counter. I planted my legs on either side of his feet and reached up to frame his face with my hands.

“Don't be mad, pretty kitty. I'll make you purr when I get home if you promise to forgive me.”

Jules rolled his eyes and grabbed my hips. He yanked me against him and mashed his lips over mine. Spinning me around, I found myself being the one pressed against the counter now as he ground up against me and rubbed his tongue around mine slowly.

“Hey, at least move him around to the counter beside you so I can watch more than just your back. If I wasn't the size of a house I'd come over and lick you both while you dock together.” Colin's voice carried over and made us break our kiss.

We looked at each other for about two seconds, and then Jules was manhandling me over to the other counter and I was whipping out my cock. I looked over at Colin. “You really want to watch this? I could suck you off instead, you come first right now.”

Colin snorted. “Shit. I come first all the time. I want to watch you two alphas fight for control while I sit here and eat my donut.”

I grinned as he pulled a long chocolate bar with cream filling out of a bakery box from the counter beside him. Jules gave a demanding yank to my cock that got me turning my attention back to him.

He smirked at me and then looked down at where he had pulled the loose foreskin of his girthy cock forward like a turtleneck and was fitting it around the head of my equally thick but circumcised cock. Once he had us docked together, I reached down to hold my rod in place while he rubbed our leaking tips together.

We moved our cock heads against each other back and forth, up and down, around in circles. I could already feel my balls pulling up from the sensation of our slits rubbing together and our pre-cum sloshing around inside our dock.

I reached out with my free hand and fondled his heavy balls. Sure enough, as soon as I began to roll his balls around in my hand, a loud rumbling purr filled the room. I leaned forward and tilted my face for a kiss. Jules met me halfway, his head tilting the opposite way as our lips met in a soft caress.

We nuzzled against each other, gently rubbing lips together, before he parted his lips and I slid my tongue inside. Neither of us sped up our pace on any front. His free hand cradled my sac, and began to roll my balls just as gently as I did his.

I sighed into his mouth, enjoying this rare moment of tenderness between us. With Jules and I, it was usually brute passion, not slow and sensual. Those moments were usually shared with our sweet Colin.

Breaking the kiss but not moving away, I murmured against his lips. “I love you, Jules. I love everything about you, pretty kitty.”

His purr grew louder and I felt a his balls jerk in my palm as hot cum spurted against my slit and over my cock head. His lips moved against mine, his eyes closed, the lashes a fan of pretty black against his tanned flesh. “I love you too, cara. I love everything about my precious puppy dog.” That hand around my sac gripped firmer and gave a series of pulsing squeezes.

I gasped against his lips, then pressed my mouth softly against his once more as I let go and my seed began to spill against his slit. Our combined cream was leaking from under his foreskin, coating our cocks and dripping onto the floor between us.

We kissed through my orgasm, breaking away when my cock quit pulsing. Jules grinned at me and then put the hand that had been on my balls under our leaking dock, while he peeled his foreskin back with the other.

His palm filled while we watched as he cleaned both of us off onto his hand. With his eyes locked on mine, he lifted his hand to his mouth and began to lick the cream from his palm. I leaned in and lapped some up with a sly wink as I held his stare.

Jules grinned and turned to our omega, who was watching us with glazed eyes and a suspicious wet spot on the top of his thigh just past the obvious outline of his cock inside of the heather gray sweats he was wearing. Jules walked over and fed the rest of our cream to Colin while I tucked my cock away, fastened my pants and turned to wash my hands.

As fun as this was, I had an appointment at the shop to do a walk through with the contractor and the building inspector. I dried my hands on a clean dishtowel and turned back to my mates who were busy kissing over at the counter.

“Okay, this time I mean it. I need to hit the road. And I'll make sure to bring back a couple dozen eggs.”

I winked at my mates and turned to leave, whistling as I headed for our minivan. I should be ashamed of it, but hell. We needed it with the triplets coming, and the thing had lots of bells and whistles. It may not look cool, but damn if it didn't fly when I gave it the gas.

* * * * *

I shook the hands of the building inspector and the contractor, and thanked them for all of their help. After I'd turned off the lights and locked up, I headed for the van. I was getting a little antsy. It wasn't until after I'd arrived at my meeting that I'd realized that my phone was at home. My mates had no way to reach me.

Jules was more than capable of taking care of Colin, that wasn't my concern. My concern was that I had our only vehicle and they were stranded there until I got back, with no way to reach me. We planned to get one if not two more vehicles sooner or later, we just hadn't done it yet.

Everywhere we went was pretty much together, except for when Jules or I had patrol duty for the den. Even that didn't matter though. Our new house backed up to the woods at the edge of town so that we could run and let our animals be free without being on den lands.

We just shifted and ran to the den through the woods when we had patrol duty, since we patrolled in animal form anyway. Our property was technically in the neutral territory, not den lands, but we weren't far away and could get there easily without being seen by the humans.

Even though I was in a rush, compelled to get home for some reason, I still made a quick stop at the corner market. I bought two dozen eggs and rushed home from there. I grinned, thinking about how amused Colin would be by the eggs while Jules would be irritated. Our pretty kitty hated it when he wasn't skilled at something. He was seriously set on making the perfect omelet. He would. Eventually.

When I walked in the house, neither of my mates were hanging out downstairs, which was a little odd since we pretty much stayed down there most of the time since Colin was days from delivering now.

His pregnancy had been so completely smooth and unremarkable. Except for that huge beach ball in his belly, you'd never know that he was even pregnant. Aside from a frequent need to pee and a rabid desire for cream filled donuts and deep fried pickles anyway. Colin was practically a health nut, he ate so cleanly normally. It was amusing to see him craving deep friend foods and sugar.

My brother was livid that my mate hadn't had any morning sickness. Or swollen ankles. Or varicose veins. Colin hadn't even had heartburn, despite the penchant for fried foods. Nope. He'd been the glowing picture of a healthy pregnant omega.

I tucked the eggs into the fridge, and hung the van keys on the hook by the light switch in the kitchen before running upstairs to find my mates. Halfway up, I smelled pain and heard heavy breathing.

Running the rest of the way up, I raced into the master bedroom. Doctor Dean was bent over between Colin's naked, open legs while Jules sat behind him, bracing him as he pushed through what looked to be a painful contraction. I rushed over and knelt beside the bed, taking his hand as he reached for mine.

“How...did...the...inspection...go?” He panted between each word, sweat pouring down his face and over his bare chest.

I looked at him like he was insane. “Seriously? Now is the time that you want to ask about the inspection?”

Jules grinned. “Why not, cara? He's having our babies, not having major surgery. We tried to call you, by the way. But your phone was up here on the nightstand. Doctor Dean just got here a few minutes ago. It was just us before that. Our tough little bear here thought that he was going to have to make me use my small knowledge of field medicine and deliver them myself.”

I chuckled, completely able to picture Jules doing just that if necessary. Colin squeezed my hand and narrowed his eyes, waiting to hear about the inspection. I shook my head at him. “Fine, it went fine. The inspector signed off on everything. The contractor finished every item you wanted redone, and everything is beautiful. I would have taken pictures, but I forgot my phone at home.”

“We...know...remember? Tried...to...call.” He smiled through pain-filled eyes, reminding me that Jules had said they'd tried to call me.

Doctor Dean's head popped up. The kind beta woman smiled and said: “Your birthing channel has completely opened and is accessible now. I can see the crown of the first head, it won't be long now. I sure don't envy you guys! A trio of boys running around here? You guys are going to have your hands full.”

My mouth dropped open and I turned to my mates. Jules shrugged. “We were going to surprise you. But hey, at least you don't know what species our cubs are yet.”

Dr. Dean blushed with embarrassment. “I'm sorry, Sean. I always forget that you wolves can't scent the genders in utero. I had no idea it was meant to be a surprise. But don't worry, my lips are zipped regarding species!”

I smiled to put her at ease. “It's okay, Doc. I'm good with it. I'll be stunned enough when I see their little faces anyway. That's all the surprise that I need.”

“Nice try, puppy dog. We're still not telling you what kind of animals their other halves are, that's a surprise. At least one of us gets to be surprised, right? Enjoy it.” Jules chided me with a smirk.

There was a pounding at the door downstairs, and I could hear my brother's excited babble, even from up here. I raised an eyebrow at my mates. “Seriously? You called Taylor? I thought we weren't telling anyone until afterward so that we could have quiet time.”

Dr. Dean blushed again. “I was examining little Alec when Jules called me. It's my fault. Wow, I'm really batting a thousand with you today, Sean! I'm so sorry!”

The pounding started up again, and I rolled my eyes at Jules. “Don't worry, Doc. Taylor would've found out anyway. My brother is like that. Always was. I swear, he knows what's happening to people before they know it themselves.”

I stood and went to let the brat in. I called back over my shoulder as I jogged downstairs: “Don't let any babies out before I get back up there!” I heard a muttered curse from Colin and a chuckle from Jules. With a grin, I went over to the front door and opened it with a flourish.

My brother and our cousin were standing there glaring up at me, while their mates stood patiently behind them with arms full of gifts and big apologetic grins on their faces. Even Peter, which surprised me. I didn't think the beta captain had a sense of humor. Huh. Who knew?

Taylor pushed his way in with Alec on his hip, saying: “I can't believe that you didn't call me when Colin went into labor, Sean!”

Walt smiled and reached out for a quick hug. Taylor began trying to get bossy from behind me: “You guys can set all that down in there on the table for now, then Sean can help you get the rest from the car.”

I spun around. “No, Sean cannot. And I didn't call you, because I only just found out about five minutes ago when I got home from a meeting. I'm an idiot who forgot my phone at home. Now lock up when you're all inside. You'll have to excuse me now, because I'm about to miss the births of my sons while I waste time listening to you bitch at me. Just park yourself somewhere and make yourself at home. I love you, but you need to shut up right now and let me breathe, munchkin.”

I stopped long enough to kiss his cheek, before running back up the stairs. I heard everyone but Taylor chuckling behind me. I figured Taylor would forgive me and find his tongue once he'd processed all I'd said. He processed faster than expected because I was only halfway up when he yelled up the stairs.

“Colin! Can I come watch? I promise to be helpful and not take over!”

I spun around. “No! Colin doesn't want anyone in there.”

Colin's voice floated out of our room. “Come...on...up...Taylor. Bring...Walt.”

With a sigh, I shook my head. “Come on then, Taylor. You too Walt.” I saw Taylor passing Alec over to Mikael out of the corner of my eye as I ran back up to my room. I made it back to our room with time to spare.

Right as I walked in, I got to see a tiny head with dark hair coming out of Colin's body. I stopped in my tracks, watching transfixed as Dr. Dean delivered the our oldest son. I heard a gasp, and looked down to see my little brother standing beside me. Tears filled his eyes as he watched his nephew take his first breath.

Taylor and I were useless, but Walt shoved around me and sprung into action. He took the baby from Dr. Dean and went into the en suite to presumably clean him up. Taylor clutched my arm and looked up at me with a trembling lip.

“I'm so happy for you, Sean. For both of us. After all you did to get us here, we're both finally settled. We both have our own families, but we're still one big happy family. Congratulations, big brother. Or, should I say Daddy?”

Before I could respond, another head began to appear and Walt called Taylor to the bathroom. I moved over to take my place at Colin's side and hold his hand while we watched next son enter the world. The doctor was delivering the second cub while Taylor walked in and leaned around me as he laid the first one in Colin's arms.

Dear Walt was right there to spirit the second one away, just as he had the first. Taylor left the room, and came back a few minutes later with an arm full of blankets, diapers, and tiny little one piece things with snappy crotches that Colin had referred to as onesies. Taylor set everything down beside Walt, and looked down at the pile with a frown. “I know I'm forgetting something, but I can't think what it could be.”

Dr. Dean glanced over and commented: “Looks like you got it covered, Alpha Mate. Unless you wanted the little mitten covers for their hands.” Colin nodded at Taylor, and he turned immediately to head back to the nursery.

Jules rubbed Colin's shoulders and commented dryly to me: “I think that you are going to owe your family a thank you after today. Turns out we needed them here.”

Walt came in with our second son. I leaned back so that he could place him Colin's other arm, next to his brother. “Uh-oh,” Colin said. “Jules is blocked in, so you better get up here next to me before the last cub comes. I'm an arm short here, Sean.”

I smiled through tear-filled eyes and stood to walk around the bed and do just that. The final head was crowning as I passed behind the doctor, and I paused long enough to watch him enter the world.

Opening my mind to our bond, I let my mates see pictures in my head of what I was seeing. Once the baby was delivered, I went around to sit beside Colin. Jules had tears streaming down his face.

I leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. He turned to me and said in a hushed voice: “Thank you for that, cara. That was an amazing view, to see our son enter the world.” I kissed his lips, then turned to kiss Colin's cheek.

Colin turned to me for a kiss, his eyes radiant with happiness. “That probably wasn't as cool from my perspective, since I'm the one feeling it. But thank you. It was beautiful to see our youngest be born.”

Walt was carrying the cub out of the room, and said over his shoulder: “Youngest? Does that mean you don't plan on having more?”

Colin shuddered. “I meant of the triplets. Let's not talk about me having more while I'm still in pain from these ones.”

While Dr. Dean calmly massaged Colin's belly and did whatever else she had to do down there, I took the babies one at a time. I diapered and dressed them, then wrapped them up like little baby burritos. Alec had been good practice for my diapering skills. Taylor came and helped me once he'd found the little hand covers so they would scratch themselves.

After I had the first two little beauties all dressed and bundled up, Taylor and Walt each took a turn cuddling them. I reached over for the third one in Colin's arms, and he reluctantly passed him over. Taylor noticed and immediately brought the one he held over to Colin.

Once the doctor had the afterbirth delivered and bagged up, she cleaned up the area and said her good-byes before quietly making her way out after promising to come back to check on the babies in the morning.

After we all fussed over the babies a bit longer, Jules suggested that Taylor and Walt take the babies into the nursery and invite Mikael and Peter up to see them. We wanted to help Colin take a shower, and this would be the perfect opportunity.

Taylor led the way with one cub, while Walt followed with the other two. Colin stopped them before they left the room. “Whatever you do, don't change their clothes yet. No matter what.”

They both looked curious, but agreed. Colin gave a tired smile and explained. “They're color coded right now. We have little anklets to put on them when we tell you their names. But until then, we need to keep them color coded so I know which one is which, you know?”

They both grinned and left with the babies, while I went around and helped Colin to stand up. I would have carried him, but Dr. Dean had made a big deal about how omegas needed to stand and walk as much as possible after delivery.

While the two of us bathed him, Jules took the front and I got the back, Colin braced himself and stood there. Jules commented off-hand: “You know, the bracelets and color coding aren't necessary if I'm in the room.”

Colin snorted. “Please. I'm a bear, and even I'm not that good.”

Jules grinned up at him. “Yes, mi vida. But I am a cat, we pick up nuances in scent that even you bears can't pick up. Not to mention the fact that their cries are all distinctly different as well.”

“Well, I don't care who has the better sniffer, sharper ears or bigger dick. I'm a wolf, and I need the fucking bracelets so that I don't have to ask you assholes which son I'm holding every damned time I pick one up.” I grumbled playfully.

Colin answered with a light laugh. “Okay, good point. But Sean? The answer to the first three is all Jules. Even the dick part. Sorry, babe. He's got you by a little on the length.”

I grinned and massaged shampoo into his curls. “I'm aware, I've taken his dick plenty of times. Plus he's got that awesome knotting vortex thing going on down there, I know we both enjoy that.” Jules just shook his head at us and grinned.

Chapter Fourteen

Jules

“I am glad that you're here, primo. Trust me, my mates will be grateful to have the help. They are also beyond thrilled to meet a member of my family. We can use help in our shop, help with the babies, and definitely any help that you care to give around the house. Life is overwhelming with three infants and a soon to be open cafe. When I told them that you had called and were coming here, they were both excited to have you here with us.”

I studied my young cousin, thrilled myself to have him here. My mates were upstairs getting the babies changed before we had to be at the shop. Diego had arrived a few minutes ago, after a long journey by plane from our small village in Belize. I hadn't even known he was coming, until he'd called me for an address in a cab from the airport.

Diego looked at me solemnly and nodded. “Okay, primo. I must tell you the truth though, before you give me refuge. It may bring trouble to your doorstep.”

I raised my brows, and nodded for him to continue. “Padre has ordered me to be mated to the chieftain's alpha son. The chieftain already paid my dowry. This was arranged with my knowledge or consent. I fled in the night, like a thief. I took as many of the gold coins that I could fit into my pockets from the ceremonial dowry chest that was in Padre's office. It was this money that I used to make my escape. All that I left with were those coins, the clothes on my back, and my passport.”

Colin gasped, and I looked up to see my mates standing there with our sons in their arms. I smiled up at them and motioned for them to join us as I said: “Please, come join us, my loves. My cousin Diego has just arrived. As you probably heard me telling him, it is quite thrilling for us to have him, even if it was unexpected.”

Diego sunk down into the couch, anxiety plainly written across his face. Colin came over and handed the cub in his arms to me before he turned and knelt in front of my young omega cousin.

He took Deigo's hands and said firmly: “Welcome to our home and our family. You're kin to our mate, which makes you family to all of us. You are welcome here, Diego. We will keep you safe, I promise. Nobody will make you mate anyone that you don't want to here, okay? While you're in our home, you're under our protection.” Diego nodded, his body relaxing as he felt the truth in Colin's words and saw it in his eyes.

Sean came over and sat down beside me. He looked back and forth from me to Diego. “Which side of the family are you guys related on? You have the same golden eyes.” He stopped and turned to me with a smirk. “I'm amazed to see that you actually have family, pretty kitty. You've never talked about them.”

I smiled fondly at Diego. “I haven't been home or even seen my family since Diego was six years old. The only reason Diego was able to find me is because I've sent him letters over the years through a missionary that lives in our village, making sure that he always knew how to find me if he needed me."

I paused and studied the baby in my arms with a soft sigh. “I left my family fourteen years ago for the same reason he did. Diego's dad and mine were twins. When my parents were killed, Tio Raul took me in and raised me as his own. Until I came of age and he tried to mate me with the omega son of a neighboring village chieftain. I left in the night just as Diego did, came to the states, and joined the military. You know the rest from there.”

Sean looked confused. “How did you come to the states without a visa? And join the military? Shit, how old were you?”

“Well, technically, non-citizens can join the military here, cara. But in my case? I was born here. My omega father was a Texan. He moved to Belize after he met my sire during a stint they both did in the peace corp. And I was eighteen, by the way. It was the night of my eighteenth birthday that I had to leave.”

Colin snorted out a laugh as he looked over at me with interest. “Your parents met in the peace corp, and their son grew up to be a soldier? That's funny.”

Diego watched with interest as we interacted with each other. I reached over and rested my hand over his smaller one. “Trust in us, Diego. We will be here for you. And Sean's little brother will be more than happy to take you shopping for clothes. He's going to be at our grand opening party that we're about to attend. I'm quite certain that he will probably try to drag you out to the nearest store as soon as he hears your story. That is, if his mate will allow it. Things aren't that peaceful among the shifters here right now, but I will explain that later.”

Sean smiled gently as Diego began to emanate fear again. “Don't let Jules scare you, kid. What he failed to mention is that my brother is a tiny little thing with a big mouth. He can get away with it because his mate is the Alpha of our bear den. He'll be a friend to you though, and he's also an omega, if that helps.”

Diego nodded solemnly as Colin gave his knee a pat and stood to go prepare bottles for us to take along with us. “You haven't told me yet about your cubs, primo. And can I just say how interesting it is that there is one to represent each of you.”

Sean grinned broadly. “Ah, I see that you must be another kitty like Jules if you can smell their species. That answers one question that I was too polite to ask.”

Diego giggled. “Did I really just hear Sean just call you kitty? You let your mates get away with that, primo?”

I shrugged with a happy smirk. “They are my mates, primo. I would let them get away with worse things than calling me a silly little affectionate nickname. Now, let me introduce you to our adorable cubs. This sweet omega wolf that I'm holding is Gavin. The darling omega bear over there that Sean is holding is Gage, and our precious alpha Jaguar in Sean's other arm is Grayson.”

Colin came back into the room right then and tucked a handful of bottles into the large diaper bag. He looked through the bag carefully, checking to make sure that he hadn't forgotten anything. Finally satisfied, he zipped it closed and slung it over his shoulder and turned to look over at us expectantly.

Gazing at Sean and me with a loving smile, Colin asked: “Are you guys about ready to go open Three Hearts Cafe for the first time?”

“Definitely, mi vida. As with everything in our life, we will do it side my side.” I stood, with Gavin carefully tucked into the crook of my arm and walked over to cup my omega's jaw and kiss those soft lips that I loved so much.

Sean came over with Gage and Grayson, pausing to settle Gage into my cousin's arms before coming over to kiss first Colin, then me. Colin reached up and grabbed both of us by the neck and leaned in between us, carefully hugging into us without crushing the cubs in our arms.

Diego stood with Gage and walked toward the door. As we followed him, walking side by side with our omega in the middle, a sense of peace washed over me. I had left my extended family behind fourteen years ago. Now I had my own family with my two fated-mates and our darling cubs.

My cara and mi vida. My beloved and my life. They were my everything, these mates of mine. Our three precious little cubs were the pieces of us that completed our family. I don't know what life has in store for us, but I will treasure every breath of it with these two men at my side.
