Baby Fever: A Billionaire Secret Baby Romance by Brooke Valentine (114)

Chapter Three

I didn’t set my alarm and I really didn’t have to with him making enough noise to wake up the dead. The shower was followed by him singing out of tune. I was tempted to get up and sneak across the hall to witness what he would look like unencumbered by clothes. I just didn’t have the courage to make him feel like he was underneath the microscope. I wanted to in the worst way possible and I had lifted the sheet off of me several times before settling back frustrated beyond belief.

I rummaged through my closet to find something interesting to work out alongside him in the backyard. I wanted something subtle, but also enough to make his tongue drag on the floor after he saw me bending and moving in certain ways.

I found a pair of yoga pants which I hadn’t used, but I was going to find better use for them than flaunting what God gave me in front of drooling idiots.

He was grunting when I opened up the double doors leading out onto the deck. It was a labor of love for both my stepbrother and stepfather. I was quite impressed how they worked on it together.

The barbecue was the crown jewel and everything money could buy. There was a bar set up with an overhang to prevent the weather from spoiling the party.

“I wasn’t expecting you and you can follow along until you can’t take it anymore. It won’t hurt my feelings and I know not everybody is as healthy conscience as I am. I made a fruit smoothie from what I could find in the fridge, but there’s more than enough for two.” He had his shirt off and wearing shorts that left very little to the imagination. He was healthy in all the ways that mattered including a body that didn’t seem like it had an ounce of fat anywhere to be found.

“I have been meaning to make my body into a temple and I just needed the proper incentive. It’s nice to have a workout body… I mean buddy…and it’s hard to get started when you don’t have someone there in your cheering section.” I had a gym membership, but I’d only gone in once only to realize it wasn’t for me. I didn’t need the audience. A more intimate setting like this one was right up my alley.

“I’m a bit of a slave driver and you won’t find any mercy with me. If you can’t take the heat then get out of my way.” His forceful tone set me back a step and I could see the haunting images keeping him prisoner of his own mind.

The yoga pants were dark and easily attracted the sun which helped to give me a good sweat. I was following along and he was doing things with his body that seemed impossible. There were times he had to put his hands on me to make me bend. I was under his spell and there was no denying that his body was a testament to what a man should look like underneath his clothes.

“You take the term no pain and no gain to the extreme, but I like how my body feels afterward. I see some real definition in my abdominals. Before long I will have rock hard six packs on a body that will probably stop traffic in the middle of the day.” I was starting a war in a different form than what he was used to. This was a campaign of seduction and I was in it for the long haul.

“Remember to cool down with stretches or you will risk cramping up. I was slightly impressed and you took everything I was throwing at you and asked for more. You would make a fine soldier and some who couldn’t cut it would feel ashamed if you were there to make them look themselves in the mirror.” I couldn’t imagine putting my life on the line every single day and this was something he was accustomed to early on.

I took a drink of the smoothie and it was refreshing. It helped to cool things off and my body had already been supercharged with the kind of heat that went directly between my legs. Even moving was awkward and the friction of the yoga pants was causing the unseen side effect of my libido getting a jump start.

“I’m going to take a quick shower and then I have to get to class. I might miss the bus, but I could use the exercise.” I was hinting at getting a ride.

“I want to go into town and get some necessary supplies including some steaks I want to barbecue this evening. You’re more than welcome to partake unless you have some other plans. I would be more than happy to take you to college and I don’t think that I’ve ever told you how proud you make me feel. We both have the same mentality of going after what we want and not allowing anything to stand in our way.”

My breasts were pressed against the thin fabric of the tee shirt with the logo of my favorite band stenciled across it. I wasn’t wearing a bra and I wasn’t sure, but I thought I perceived him looking at my more prominent attributes out of the corner of his eyes.

“I won’t be long and we could share a shower like we did when we were little to conserve water.” I saw him blushing and I punched against his hard shoulder in an attempt at good natured ribbing. “You should see your face and you really thought that I was serious. We are a little old to be taking showers together.” He looked away and I saw a twitch of movement inside the shorts he was wearing. They were tight enough to leave little doubt of his excitement.

“I hate to ask, but I don’t have any money until the end of the week. If you could float me a loan, I’m sure that I can make it up to you in some way.” I had my mouth open about to make some kind of crass comment about taking it out on trade, but I stopped myself before I made an error in judgment.

The morning was just getting started and already I was hot and bothered. If things progressed anymore then our relationship was going to turn in a profound way. There was no telling what we would do with this newfound freedom. I wanted desperately to explore his body and to take my time tracing his muscles down until I could grab him unexpectedly.

“I have some money, but it depends on how much you’re looking for.” I could see the sweat rolling down his pectorals and it accentuated his muscles in a way that made me speechless.

“I figure $100 should cover any of the expenses. It’s not like it’s just for me and our parents have not exactly been looking after their bodies. I’m not putting anything in my mouth that is bad for me.” I could think of one thing that had no calories and would leave a sheen on his lips. I fanned myself away from his prying eyes, feeling a little faint and almost bumping into the furniture when I went inside the house.

I went upstairs and climbed underneath the hot spray directing the nozzle to where it was going to do the most good. I felt empowered and the massage setting was nothing compared to the real thing. It was good, but only enough to satiate me for the time being. I was a little unsteady on my legs when I got out of the shower and wrapped my body with a towel.

I heard him revving the motor and I looked out the window through the threadbare white curtains to see him straddling the black behemoth of a motorcycle. He was wearing one of those old-fashioned fifties helmets with a scarf around his mouth. He had mirrored sunglasses and wearing the leather jacket that I had gotten for his birthday.

I put on a pair of distressed jeans on with my backpack over my shoulder and I came out onto the driveway to see him reaching out with a helmet for me. I put it on and held my breath when I wrapped my hands around his waist. My fingers were no more than a few inches away from my desired target.

“I want you to hold on tightly and don’t let go.” I had no problem doing that and the feel of touching him was compounded by the vibration of the beast underneath me.

We lurched forward and I made involuntary gasp. I could feel the faster we went that I wanted to get my hands on more than the machine. The feel of his chiseled stomach through his shirt was like I was tracing railroad tracks. I’d already seen them, but feeling them was something that left me on the edge of my seat.

We breezed through traffic and I noticed before I got on there was a sticker for the Marines affixed to the bike. There were some that gave the proper respect and others who turned a blind eye which must have felt like he was doing all of it for nothing. But itt wasn’t about the accolades or the medals for him, and my stepbrother’s sense of pride was something nobody could deny.

“I’ve never been on one of these things, but I’ve always wanted to. I do believe I might want to invest in getting one for myself.” Half the job would already be done for him by the time we arrived on campus. I would’ve jumped at the opportunity to find him lying in my bed naked and waiting for me when I got home. That would’ve been a gift from heaven, but it was too much to ask for. It wasn’t like he was showing any signs other than physical that he was interested, at least not for the moment.

“I got on an Indian scout in Vietnam during leave a couple of years ago. I came home for a week furlough and I immediately went looking in the classifieds and found this little beauty ready to be snatched up. It’s the reason why I’m cash poor at the moment, but it was worth it to feel alive like I do when I’m in battle.” He leaned to the side and my heart leaped out of my chest and into my throat. It was a thrilling moment and one that I would want to repeat over again.

We stopped and a friend of mine was standing not more than a few feet away. She had her head cocked to the side and then she smiled when I took off the helmet to reveal who was underneath it. Bailey sped away with his ass looking like a marvel of modern day technology. I could easily bounce a quarter off of that thing.

“I don’t suppose you want to tell me about the young man who brought you to school.” It was no wonder Stephanie didn’t recognize him and the last time she had seen him was a few years ago. “I wouldn’t mind taking a bite out of that myself and maybe you would consider sharing with a good friend.”

I’d never considered tag teaming anyone, but with her, it would seem almost natural.

“You’re going to feel mighty foolish when I tell you that was my stepbrother Bailey. He just got back from the Marines and is staying for a month to recharge his batteries before going back overseas.” Her mouth was open like she was going to catch flies and it was quite obvious she was taken by the boy who had become a man.

Her red hair was natural and the drapes did match the carpeting. She was a little loose with her affections and had a new flavor every month. She was between boyfriends and had expressed interest in finding some young impressionable lad to put a smile on his face.

“I can’t believe that’s Bailey and he certainly did grow into his ears. I’m glad that he’s not my brother and it must be difficult for you to see him this way.” She didn’t know the half of it.

“I’m having impure thoughts about him, but I’m trying to contain them. It’s not right and I know people would look at us differently if they were to find out we were more than step-siblings. I find myself inappropriately thinking about him and touching him is like getting a taste of electricity on the tip of my tongue.” I was feeling the effects and there was more on the menu for this evening than just the steaks that he was going to barbecue to perfection.

“I would suggest you tone it down, but I know better than to get in your way. I would tell you not to do anything I wouldn’t do, but you know that is such a broad term to make.” I was lucky I was able to finish my homework before my stepbrother came home unexpectedly. He was the distraction and the only way to get over him was to get under him.

“We’ve lived under the same roof for years, but I’m seriously considering changing the dynamics of our relationship. It seems a shame to let a body like that go to waste. I would love to tie him down and have my way with him until we are both spent flesh.” I was keeping my voice low and I had no interest in letting people know my business.

“As you have eloquently stated, you are not related to him in any way and that is the kind of man that should never be taken for granted. Be sure about what you are thinking before you can’t take it back. It would be prudent to test the waters before you dip your toe in the deep end.” She had the guys falling all over themselves and she was not shy about sharing her bounty.

She was sexually promiscuous and anybody who had the fortune to be with her had to understand from the very beginning she was not one to stay faithful. Some guys were perfectly fine and were just grateful to be with her, but then things changed when they tried to put a label on her to no avail.

“I do have my reservations, but I’m not sure that’s going to stop me.” I was thinking about him and wondering what little games I could play to make him fall victim to my charms. “I will take my cue from him. I’m playing with fire but I’m not concerned about getting burned. I just want to make sure we’re both on the same wavelength and that I’m not asking for trouble,” although trouble had been my middle name for quite some time.

“Being serious for a moment, I think that you should at least consider leaving this alone. Do you think that this has anything to do with not having a boyfriend of your own? Don’t kill the messenger, but you do seem to be lost and looking for something.”

She had given me a lot to think about. I was going to have to ponder deeply about the consequences of getting together with my stepbrother.
