Epilogue
"Nova. You really need to get up."
A muffled groan resonated through the otherwise quiet room, minor shuffling sounds heard as he reached over to turn off his alarm before retracting to his previous warm cocoon.
"I don't have the energy." He stated in a tired, muffled tone, words slurred, already on the edge of returning to sleep.
I chuckled at his answer, turning around in his hold cautiously to face him, the warm sheets feeling soft around my bare body. His eyes were shut, a tranquil expression shining on his face as he breathed deeply.
I started with his neck, placing open mouthed, gentle kisses on the soft, but marked skin. I probably should've gone easier with the love bites last night. I made my way towards his face as he slightly frowned in his sleep, before turning straight on his back, me straddling his toned stomach, sitting on my knees as I continued my expedition.
When I reached his face, his hand came to rest on my lower back, covered by only the silky sheet. His eyes didn't open as he stated, "You are going to be the death of me woman." through his soft lips.
"I need rest. There's only so much of you I can take in less than twenty-four hours."
I chuckled loudly at his mumbled comment, kissing his forehead before moving to his nose.
"For a person who walks around like he owns the world, you have a very weak sex drive."
His eyes shot up suddenly, slightly offended with a hint of amusement sparkling through his deep blues.
"For a person who has never been in a relationship before, you have a very strong sex-drive. And I do own an estate, need I remind you."
I smiled languidly at him, thoroughly enjoying him already starting to lightly squirm as I laid on top of him. Placing a gentle kiss on his plush lips, I stated, "At least you're awake. Good morning baby."
His hold on my back tightened as I made to move away from his lips, his hands keeping me tightly in place as he reached forward to lightly bite my lower lip. A teasing smile evident on his face as he used his muscles to his advantage and shifted us over until I was trapped beneath him, eyes looking up at his early morning lined features as he rested his forehead against mine.

A simple phrase of 'I love you. I want you to be mine forever.' slipping past his lips as I had opened the box to be met with a beautiful diamond ring shining brightly at me.
And if someone had intended to consider me unworthy of being at such a high position at the estate, the loud wail of joy that had escaped the mouths of both the Papas' and Nova's dad when he had lifted my hand at a family dinner to showcase the ring was enough to shut them up.
For some reason, both the Riche estate and the Riche family had welcomed me with open arms.
"Well I'm the groom after all. I think I'm going to take a day off too." He suggested with eyes a lit. His hair deliciously mused, both from the pillows and the relentless tugging last night done by yours truly.
"And do what? Sit here all day and whine about how you don't feel like getting up because of the three rounds you had yesterday and one this morning?" I teased again, watching his eyes narrow before a low growl escaped his throat, instantly moving from his position and attacking my neck, hands coming up to grab my wrists and to imprison me beneath his body as he shifted.
"You really need to stop doing that. I don't think purple bruises would look good on the neck of a bride." He stated with a deep voice, lightly tugging the skin just beneath my jaw with his teeth. I giggled lightly at his comment, as he settled more on top of me.
"Rose?" Came his voice from the hollow in my throat, the skin tingling from his warm breath. I hummed in response, content to be exactly where I was.
"I need to tell you something." His moved his face away from my neck, a slight sullen expression cascading his rugged features. I nodded my head, leading him on.
"I need you to know, before you came along; before this deal, I had tried to fool my family. Every night I had the staff pick up someone random from the crowds of people outside and send them to my suite, but I never slept with any of them. I just lounged in the living room or something. I had hoped my family would believe that I had escorts over, but they didn't." He sighed deeply, eyes downcast as he continued.
"That's was I was so adamant in making the deal work, and so nervous to get everything right. I just thought that, if they hadn't bought it before, why would they buy it now? But guess how that turned out, huh?"
He finished, eyes still downcast.
"I just wanted you to know this before tomorrow, that I had people over, but I never slept with them. I don't want this minuscule detail to cause complications for us in the future, baby."
Before I could say anything to reassure him, something clicked in my head, my eyes widening as I excitedly stated, "Wait. You're Hot-Chocolate-Sundae-on-a-Balmy-Beach?"
His features scrunched up confusedly before turning into one of his infamous cocky looks.
"Well that's one way to describe me." I laughed at his comment, amazed at the little connection between our pasts.
"Nova. I don't mind anything you did in the past, as long as you continue to love and be loved in the future. You're the love of my life, and these details are insignificant." I finished with a broad smile, watching his relax visibly, breathing heavily.
"Still think walking down the aisle with your father is a good idea?" He asked, laying his head on my chest as I ran my fingers through his hair.
"He's better now Nova. He deserves a chance."
My chest vibrated as he hummed, snuggling deeper into the sheet-warmed skin.
"Still think not having any bridesmaids a good idea?" He chuckled at the end, humming a little as I lightly massaged his scalp.
"I don't have any friends Nova. Jeffrey's girlfriend is enough. You tell me now. Where are you taking me for the honeymoon?" I inquired, having been given no information about the trip he had planned.
"Top secret baby. You only worry about the wedding. Where we go after, that is my concern." He smirked devilishly, lightly biting the area below my collarbone. "Oh and by the way, I'm exceptionally excited about the garter event of the night. It's a big family tradition you know." His smile only grew wider as his eyes shone. He lifted his head from my chest, coming up to place a long, deep kiss on my lips. His lips soft, supple and he knew just how to use them to make me forget my name and have me begging for more.
"Last day together and you only care about the garter. Why am I not surprised?"
He smirked at me, pecking my lips before adding a little solemnly, "You're really gonna spend the night at your mom's? I'll miss you too much you know." His pink lips morphed into the pout I loved endlessly, and I placed a kiss on his lips, nibbling at his bottom lips until he moaned quietly before answering, "It's tradition Nova. Tomorrow is the big day."
He hummed indifferently, pecking my lips again.
"I love you."
It simply passed his lips, like it was a perfectly casual phrase, but it still managed to make my heart jump when he said it in his raspy voice.
"I love you, and I'll never let you go."
"I love you Nova." I added, leaning in for another kiss, never able to get enough.
"So, no cold feet for tomorrow baby?" I asked with a teasing smile, watching his eyes light up.
"I get to have you forever. So, for you, never."
