ONCE WE ARRIVED at Dirty Dog, the younger self inside of me squealed. Having three older brothers stopping me from living my life, didn’t do well for all the things I wanted to explore as soon as I turned twenty-one. But now that I was older and with the man that I loved, I knew this moment would be one I would never forget. Especially with the foreign object inside my body.

Neither of us drank. Having a brother, who was an alcoholic before he died, stopped me from putting liquor to my lips. Coby on the other hand didn’t drink because he liked to be in control too much. That very thought sent shivers down my spine.

“This place is packed.” Coby held my hand and led me up to the bouncer standing at the door.

“Shouldn’t we wait in line?” I asked, earning glares from the long lineup of people waiting to get into their favorite club.

“Don’t worry, little one.” Coby kissed my head, stopping us once we reached the larger man waiting to let people into the club.

He glanced between Coby and I and back to Coby.

Much to my surprise, Coby shook his hand and whispered something in his ear.

The bouncer met my gaze, gave me a warm smile and stood back, letting both of us enter the larger building.

“How the hell did you do that?” I asked Coby once we were in the club.

He placed his hand at the small of my back, giving me a wink but never answering my question. “This night is for you, little one,” he kissed my neck. “I will do anything to make sure that you’re happy.”

“I am happy but since when do you have pull in a town you’ve never been to before?” Not that I didn’t appreciate it but curiosity got the better of me and I was dying to know.

“I have been here before.”

“You only started coming here for the past week, Coby. Did you make friends during your time here?”

Coby chuckled, leading us further into the club. “I did my research and found out that a lot of the families are military or ex-military.”

“So you tossed around the fact that you’re a Navy SEAL?”

“Like I said, Brogan,” he pinched my chin. “I will do anything to make you happy. Throwing around my title is no exception. But in this case, I did it the old fashioned way and made reservations,” he said with a smirk.

I think I fell in love with him a little more at that point.

Once we reached the end of the hall, Coby stepped to the side.

“Holy shit,” I gasped, taking in the sight before me. “This place is huge.” I counted not one, not two, but five bars.

“It is. I read that this place has been packed every night since it opened. The owner’s a damn lucky bastard that he came up with the idea when he did.”

“What other information have you heard about this town?”

“Enough.” Coby smirked, kissed my knuckles, and guided me further into the club. Once we reached the main area, we sat at a booth. “Now don’t get any ideas, Brogan. The men here dance like those women in that movie you made me watch. Coyote something or other.”

“Coyote Ugly?” My eyes widened. “There’s hot men dancing on the bars instead of hot women? So my research was right.” I waggled my eyebrows. “Maybe I can convince them to get you to dance. I know the women here would love it.”

Coby rolled his eyes. “I’m too old for half the women who come to this place.”

I scoffed, waving a hand in front of my face. “Please. Once you took off your shirt, they would be falling to their knees at your feet, begging you to spank them with that delicious belt of yours.”

“Brogan, the only woman I would dance for is you,” he growled, giving me a hard kiss before nipping my bottom lip gently. “Like I said, I’m too old for that shit.”

“Puh-lease.” I patted his cheek. “I’ve seen you move. The way you circle those hips when you—”

“Brogan,” Coby snarled in warning. “Last time.”

A rush of heat traveled through me at the dominating tone of his voice, but all I could do was laugh. I had no idea that this club was like that. No wonder it was busy. All of the men were practically guaranteed to get laid tonight.

Half-naked gorgeous men thrusting their hips in your face? Yum. I made a mental note to tell the girls back home about this place. It would be perfect for a bachelorette party.

“You’re thinking about taking the girls here for your bachelorette party aren’t you?”

My head whipped around. “How could you know that?”

Coby grinned and pinched my chin. “Because I know you. But be careful what dirty thoughts you allow to race through that beautiful mind of yours. I’m a possessive man and I don’t give a fuck who’s watching. I will claim you wherever and whenever I want. Remember who you belong to, Brogan. Or do I need to remind you once we leave here?”

I shivered at what he was suggesting. Cupping the back of his neck, I pulled him down to meet my mouth and showed him, even with just a kiss, that he was the only man I would ever want. That I could ever need. Although, being reminded that I belonged to him, wasn’t such a bad idea.

I knew Brogan never looked at another man. If she did, she was subtle about it, and I the same. I had too much respect for her to check out another woman and make it obvious. But a little delicious threat worked wonders when Brogan kissed me like I needed reassurance. I didn’t, but I allowed her that tiny bit of control for just a moment. Later, I would take it back and unleash everything on her.

I grabbed her hand from around my nape and cupped the back of her head, taking that control back.

She gasped into my mouth, deepening the kiss.

“Good,” I wrapped my arm around her shoulders, pulling her against me. “Because, baby, you’re stuck with me for life. That ring on your finger isn’t just for show. You’re mine and I’m going to claim that as such on our wedding day. And maybe after that, we’ll move on and explore those dark sexual desires you have. Her breath hitched. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
