Chapter Twenty
It seemed like no time at all before Ronan was ready to go again. Noah was more than able to keep up, but the alpha seemed unsure.
“I don’t want to overwhelm you. It might all be too much.”
Noah, who had his hands clasped together, let them fall open. “We’re made for each other. How could you ever be too much for me?”
If he was a lock, then Ronan was his key. A perfect match.
Ronan caught Noah’s hands in his and grinned. “That sounds like a challenge.”
Leaning closer, he whispered into the omega’s ear. “Sometime tonight, you’re going to pass out from pleasure.”
Noah blinked innocently back at him. “Is that a promise?”
With a growl, Ronan knocked him back onto the bed, crushing their lips together in a heated kiss. Noah parted his lips, welcoming the press of the alpha’s tongue to his and savoring the taste of him. He could feel the alpha, hard and ready, pressed against his hip.
“How do you want me?” Noah gasped out when they broke the kiss. Ronan stole another kiss, before pulling back and climbing off Noah to stand on the floor next to the bed. He beckoned the omega to him, and Noah went willingly, taking Ronan’s hand and letting the alpha guide him out along the corridor and into the training room.
It was late in the evening, the room bathed in the orange glow of the setting sun. Ronan walked him to the mat and turned him to face the window, his vision filled with the sunset on the horizon.
“Here?”
Ronan’s answer was the press of his hands on Noah’s shoulders, urging the omega down onto his knees. The alpha knelt behind him, and Noah gasped as Ronan’s lips touched the nape of his neck. He kissed the edges of the scarring, no inch escaping the touch of his mouth, his tongue. He worked his way inward to the very center, the place where an alpha made a mating mark, the spot where they staked their claim.
As before, a spark of heat flickered from his neck outward, and he moaned softly, pressing back into Ronan’s touch. The alpha’s hands came up to hold his shoulders, keeping him steady as he lavished every attention on that spot. What should have been a dormant patch of skin, scarred and useless, came alive at the alpha’s insistence. When Ronan finally pulled his mouth away, he dragged a thumb across the center, and even that touch had Noah shuddering. Something had changed. And it was all because of Ronan.
“You’re ready,” the alpha said simply.
A hand on his upper back pushed Noah forward onto his hands and knees.
“Like this,” he heard Ronan say as he stayed in position.
Hands found his hips, fingers teasing up and down before urging Noah to widen his legs a little.
Then Ronan stroked a hand up along his spine.
“It’ll feel different like this,” the alpha said. “Deeper.”
“But good, right?”
“So good.”
“And if you knot?”
“Then we stay very, very close for a while.”
Ronan’s hands were on his hips again and Noah could feel his hardness pressed against his ass.
“Oh. Oh.”
Ronan pressed inside him in one smooth thrust, rocking Noah forward onto his hands. The alpha was right, it was deeper. Good deep, like the alpha could touch every part of him all at once.
Before Noah could catch his breath, Ronan pulled out and thrust in again. Noah braced himself against the mat, giving himself over to it. Each push of the alpha inside him sent pleasure swirling low in his belly. As Ronan got faster, his thrusts almost punishing in their strength, Noah struggled to hold himself up. The alpha’s hand pressed between his shoulder blades, urging Noah to lower his head to the floor, leaving his hips raised. Ronan didn’t pause in his rhythm and Noah urged him on, his body tensing around the alpha, trying to draw out the pleasure of each thrust as it pooled inside him.
Just when he was getting close, his body pulsing, Ronan’s hands latched onto his shoulders and drew him back up. The alpha’s mouth found his neck again, kissing that spot in the center, sucking and licking at the skin until Noah was gasping, crying, and begging for more. Begging for the alpha’s teeth.
The alpha’s thrusts slowed, becoming purposeful rolls of the alpha’s hips, angled carefully. Each time he did it, he hit something within Noah that had him seeing sparks behind his eyes.
“Come for me,” the alpha murmured in his ear before biting down hard on the back of his neck. Noah came with a shout, pleasure warring with pain for one brief moment before ecstasy flooded him.
Ronan’s final thrust into him was followed by a growing pressure that drew out his orgasm, on and on until his vision was flooded with white, and he sank bonelessly to the floor.
He woke lying on his side on the floor, dazed and sated. Something was… different. When he tried to move, Ronan’s arm around his waist tightened, holding him in place.
“Whoa, there. Where do you think you’re going?”
He relaxed at the sound of the alpha’s voice, coming to enough to know he was safe.
“What happened?”
“Not much. We mated, I knotted you, and you passed out.”
He tried to turn to face the alpha, but Ronan’s hands stopped him alongside something else.
“You’re still inside me,” he said in wonder.
“That’s my knot. Can you feel it?”
He nodded, sinking down onto the mat. Once he stopped trying to move, Ronan’s hands went from holding him to hugging him.
“That’s it, just stay nice and relaxed while we ride this out.”
It felt strange but… good. A pressure inside him that had his body aching but in a good way.
“I passed out?”
“Uh-huh.” Ronan sounded almost smug. “The tail end of your orgasm caught the start of my knot at the same time as you took my mating bite. It’s no surprise you crashed.”
“What now?”
The alpha snorted. “That wasn’t enough for you?”
He pressed a kiss to the side of Noah’s neck, just below his ear. “Now, we wait.”
Noah wasn’t sure he liked that idea. Experimentally, he tightened his body around Ronan, forcing a gasped moan from the other man’s lips.
“Noah?”
“I want you to move.”
“You’re not comfortable? Do you want to lie on your other side?”
“No. I want you to move. Inside me.”
“Noah. I’m knotted inside you. You know what that means, right?”
“Just a little bit,” he begged. “I just want to see how it feels?”
Ronan growled low under his breath. “You’ll be the death of me. And here I thought it would be me breaking you.”
“Please, Ronan.”
“Alright. But you have to stay absolutely still. I don’t want to hurt you.”
“You won’t.”
Noah felt oddly confident that he was onto something and, since he had a healthy aversion to pain, he felt certain it was something good.
Ronan’s arms tightened around him again, not taking Noah’s word for it that he’d stay still. Then the alpha rolled his hips slightly, a tiny thrust that moved him within Noah.
He gasped as pleasure surged through him, a choked whimper escaping.
“Noah? Did I hurt you?”
“Again,” Noah insisted, his eyes sliding closed. “Do that again.”
Ronan did, using a little more energy this time. The tight heat of the alpha pulled and pushed inside him, Noah groaning as his body clenched around him. The alpha’s matching groan told him that they were both enjoying discovering what their bodies could do.
“You’re a genius,” Ronan joked, pressed another kiss to the back of Noah’s neck. Noah couldn’t help but notice that the alpha wasn’t touching his mating mark. He bent his head forward experimentally but felt only a dull ache of pain eclipsed by a rush of warmth.
“It doesn’t hurt,” he told Ronan. “The mark.”
“My mark,” the alpha said possessively.
“Your mark.”
The next time Ronan rolled his hips, he kissed Noah’s mark, sending a wave of ecstasy crashing over them both.
“Oh, wow.” How long could they keep this up? How long would they never want to be out of each other’s arms?
For the next few minutes they experimented, with care. They moved position, trying Ronan on his back while Noah, on top, pushed up and down. Deciding that was too awkward, Ronan rolled them so that Noah was back on his hands and knees below him.
As the alpha’s knot gradually deflated, he took Noah again, his thrusts shallow and slow at first, getting faster and deeper until they both came, and they were able to separate. They wound up lying on their backs on the floor, panting as they stared up at the ceiling.
“We did it,” Noah said.
“Yeah, we did. Bitten, bedded, and mated, just like Griffin wanted.”
Noah giggled. “I feel like we should win a prize.”
Ronan rolled over on top of him until they were eye to eye. “If it’s a reward you’re looking for, I can think of a few things.”
Noah snorted, pulling the alpha in for a kiss. There could be no better reward than this.
