Gilded Ambition: A Gilded Fox Novel by Jason Collins (7)

Ben

“You still haven’t told me where we’re going, by the way,” Noah pointed out with a playful smile.

“You said it was your first time in a limo! I didn’t want to spoil that.” I laughed.

I was sitting across from him, and while I loved how he looked in his fine clothing, I liked his casual look just as much. A red T-shirt hugged his torso and let me see those pectorals he clearly got a lot of use out of, and the forearms were the kind I wanted to run my hands over and guide down to my hips before unbuttoning those tight jeans he was wearing.

“Oh, so we’re going somewhere awful, then,” he teased, raising an eyebrow at me.

“No, we’re going somewhere that’s going to make you nervous,” I said. “But I’m not having my fellow expo organizer present alongside me without a look that’s going to kill, and that’s exactly what I’m going to give you today.”

Noah blinked a few times, then looked out the window to see what part of the city we were in.

“Are...are we going shopping?” he asked, so incredulous he was almost laughing. “But I already have a suit!”

I had to keep from wincing at the reminder that he only had one suit, but that wasn’t his fault. Plenty of men didn’t, for one reason or another. Besides, the fact that he had at least one had let me get his measurements.

“Well, you’re going to have a lot more than that when I’m through with you,” I said. “I’d like to get you a haircut, but this thing isn’t going to get organized overnight, so any haircut I get you is going to grow out by the time everything else is ready. I’ve made that mistake before. We can take care of virtually everything else today, though.”

“I’ll be honest,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck. “I like to keep myself cleaned up, but I don’t even know where to start with this kind of thing. Like I said, I have six siblings-- Dad didn’t exactly have the time to teach me all the ropes for the kind of scene people like you dominate.”

“That’s why I’m here,” I said proudly, leaning forward and smiling. “And don’t worry, everything we pick up today is on me. It’s the very least I could do, and I plan to do much more than the bare minimum.”

Minutes later, we were walking into a perfume and cologne shop, and I had to admit, it was cute to watch Noah’s eyes go wide.

“This is the kind of place my mom always told us not to wander into,” Noah chuckled as we stepped onto the polished floor and were surrounded by the kind of music you would associate with a fashion runway. “Too fancy. I feel weird not wearing a button-down and tie, at least.”

I laughed, but I put my hand on his back and guided him to the selections I had in mind.

“One thing at a time, but nobody’s going to bother you as long as you’re with me. This is a project. You are, I mean. So, what kind of cologne do you usually go for?”

He gave me a blank stare for a moment until he realized I was serious, and a little color came to his cheeks.

“I get a bottle every now and then for Christmas, and whatever that happens to be is usually what I go with for the next year or so.”

I pursed my lips.

“Okay, then let’s take some time to find something that’s ‘you,’ if that makes sense. See what you like. Here’s one of my favorites,” I said, hurrying over to a clear, cube-shaped vial with nothing but a designer’s name etched into the glass.

I took out a sample stick and spritzed it, then held it up to Noah. He hesitated, then leaned forward and gave it a whiff.

“That’s pretty nice,” he admitted. “I think it’s a little...I’m not sure what the word is. Strong, maybe?”

“It’s a very bold aroma,” I agreed, nodding and stroking my chin as I tossed the stick away and perused the selection. “Something I’d use if I wanted to impress a conference room full of clients. It’s an aroma that dominates the room with you, kind of makes your entire presence. The undertone of you is important, sometimes. But if you’re not fond of that, maybe something...ah, like this!”

I picked out a green vial and spritzed a stick with it, presenting it to Noah.

“Ooh, I like that,” Noah said, smiling. “It’s got a kind of rain smell to it.”

“It’s a very light and airy scent,” I said, smiling and nodding. “Helps open the room up rather than weighing it down. Makes people feel more at ease around you. I should have known that would be more up your alley. Here, try it on.”

I handed him the bottle, and he reluctantly gave himself a couple of sprays on his neck.

“May I?” I asked, and his blush grew a little, but he smiled and turned his head up to let me lean in.

“What do you think?”

“I think it’s exquisite,” I said in a low purr, glancing over at him while I was still leaning close enough to smell the cologne on his neck. His smile grew a little, and he tilted his head to the side.

“Doesn’t your company have a line of colognes? Why didn’t you bring me to one of your stores?”

“There are a couple of reasons for that,” I said with a soft smile. “The first is that I wanted to give you a bigger selection. The second is a secret.”

“A secret?” he chuckled, raising an eyebrow.

“You’ll see,” I said, smirking. “For now, let’s check out and move on. We have a lot of ground to cover.”

Hours later, we were riding home in a limo that was stuffed with bags containing the new cologne Noah picked out, three pairs of dress shoes, two sets of cufflinks, five ties (three of them bow ties), a set of shaving equipment including a sterling silver straight edge, hair care products that were going to make Noah turn heads, and no less than ten pairs of socks.

We also had a box of chocolates we were splitting for the ride home because I figured it was a good day to treat ourselves.

“There aren’t even any pants or jackets in this pile, and I feel like we’ve still managed to double my wardrobe in one afternoon,” Noah said, staring at the bags in awe before popping a coconut truffle chocolate into his mouth.

“That’s because I have a surprise for you,” I said, smiling triumphantly.

“Wait, what?” he said through a full mouth.

“I’ve already got a suite on the third floor arranged for me,” I said, checking my nails and crossing my legs. “And I had something a little more exclusive in mind than anything we could get at one of my designer stores.”

Soon, we were back at the Gilded Fox, and I could show Noah exactly what I meant. I hurried him up to my room on the third floor, and when I opened the door for him, I took special joy in watching his jaw drop.

Clothes. The room was absolutely packed full of clothes I had brought in from my personal warehouses. Pants, shirts, jackets, belts, I had everything brought in so that I could build a few outfits with Noah.

“You can’t be serious,” Noah said with a growing smile as he stepped inside slowly. “I mean, I hope you are serious, but you can’t be serious.”

“No, actually.” I laughed. “My plan is to wear every piece of clothing in this room to the art expo. At the same time. The fall look this year is three button-downs layered under five blazers and two ties.”

“Avant-garde, I like it,” Noah said without missing a beat.

I felt a tickle in my chest, a little flutter of my heart that I wasn’t used to feeling as I grinned at Noah. Joking around with him made me feel lighter than air, and he never seemed to fail to play off me.

“Seriously though, this is the spring line that hasn’t even hit magazines yet,” I said, sweeping over to the selection of shirts and perusing them thoughtfully. “I don’t know if you’ve ever thought about proper modeling, but after this expo, you might get a few calls.”

“Where do I start?” he asked, looking around at everything like a kid in a candy store.

I rounded on him with a lavender shirt in my hand and a devilish smile on my face.

“Anywhere you want.”

Time flew. Noah darted in and out of the bathroom of the suite, coming out dressed in more of my clothes in various arrangements and color schemes that we debated back and forth over the course of almost an hour. And the end wasn’t anywhere in sight.

We had a few outfits already set aside that we were sure about. Noah’s taste erred toward brighter colors, so much so that I had to steer him to subtler colors to keep him from looking like springtime in human form. But frankly, even though he was new to this, I found myself really enjoying dressing him up. The fact that they were my clothes only made it better. All I could think about was how good the two of us were going to look on the day of the expo.

My tastes contrasted with his just enough that we’d complement each other beautifully. I was already planning out my possible outfits around his. I couldn’t help it. I was enjoying spoiling Noah like this. Buying things for him felt exciting, not just because I liked treating him to a good time, but it was honestly energizing to see a guy taking this kind of zeal in how he looked and the different styles he could design for himself. I was watching a man invent himself, and I loved the way his mind worked.

He walked out of the bathroom wearing this stunning gray suit with a blue shirt and black tie and what I could have sworn was a confidence in his eyes I only saw in experienced models. It was only there for a split second, but I could tell that Noah was growing into this swimmingly.

“Keep that one,” I said, holding out a hand. “Trust me.”

“Don’t have to tell me twice,” he said, turning around.

As he did, I felt my heart jump. There was that ass again in my pants, and it reminded me that every bit of his body was getting shown off to me in things I’d personally designed. I started to wish I could walk up to him, pin him against the wall, and show him just how much I liked how he looked. I was envisioning myself running my hands along his thighs and up to his bulge, then to the buttons of his shirt to start undoing them one by one…

“Hey, Ben?”

Noah’s voice snapped me out of my fantasy. He had slipped back into the bathroom, and the door was ajar.

“Yeah?”

“Could you bring me that gunmetal-gray jacket you showed me earlier? I want to try something.”

“Sure, yeah,” I said absently, still blushing from the fantasy I’d been blatantly indulging in.

I grabbed the jacket and approached the door. Seeing it ajar, I put my hand on it without thinking and pushed it open to hand Noah the jacket.

“Here you-” I stopped midsentence.

Noah stopped in his tracks-- he’d been halfway to the door, presumably meaning to take the jacket from around the corner of the door without me opening it because his pants were off. Noah was standing there in an open button-down shirt that left his chest bare, and below that, his exposed boxers showed very clearly just how much this whole affair was exciting him, too.

His cock was standing upright, trying to push its way through to freedom, right toward me. My mouth fell open, and I felt my own cock swelling up at the sight of him looking sloppy yet sexy and eager for me.

Then I got a hold of my senses.

“Oh, sorry!” I said, turning my gaze back up to his face and holding out a hand. “I shouldn’t have barged in. I wasn’t even thinking.”

I was expecting Noah to be recoiling, turning his body, or grabbing a pair of pants to try to play it off. Instead, he stopped right where he was and watched me for a moment, biting his lower lip. A silence fell between us for a few moments, but Noah just kept his eyes on mine.

“I think I need to stop thinking, too,” he said in a low husk.

Before I could respond, he had crossed the distance between us, put a hand on my tie, and pulled himself up to kiss me.

Everything in me acted on pure instinct that was finally being given the chance to break free. The jacket fell to the ground in a useless pile as I seized his hips and pulled him into me, feeling his cock press up hard against my groin and throb at the feeling of my warmth. As Noah’s lips and mine buried into each other, I walked us back toward the bed while my hands worked up his ass. I squeezed his cheeks, and he gasped into the kiss as he thrust his hips against mine.

“You’re a tease,” I growled into his ear as we reached the bed.

“You’re one to talk,” he said back.

I spun him around and thrust him down onto the bed before crawling over him, straddling him on my knees and following him as he squirmed up the bed, breathing heavily and looking up at me with desperate anticipation.

“If you want to go here again,” I said as I pulled off my belt and shoes, tossing both to the ground, “then you need to know that I’m not going to be able to stop myself. If you think you want to back out, now’s the time.”

“Didn’t you hear me?” he said with a challenging smile. “I’m done thinking. I want to do what I’ve been feeling since I got out of bed that first night.”

I pinned his arms down as I bent over him, smelling that cologne I bought him fresh on his neck and begging me to ravish it.

I pressed my lips to his neck as we started grinding against each other. My teeth grazed him, and I felt his cock pulse against my stomach as our hips explored each other, my hands still holding him down. As long as he wanted me on top of him, I could do anything I wanted with him, and the way he moved told me he loved every second of it.

I sat back up and took my shirt off, then pulled my pants off, taking my boxers with them. Noah started to pull his off, but I reached over his hands and took hold of the elastic myself. I held eye contact with him as I slid them down his thighs, and I watched his cock bob free once it was past his shaft.

With the boxers off, I brought myself back on top of him, and I realized we were rolling on a pile of my own clothes. These were some of the most exclusive pieces of menswear in the world, and I was grinding cocks with Noah on top of them.

I pressed my lips to his as our shafts pulsed together, and I let myself get lost on his body, feeling him and reveling in the sensations that we exchanged. But when our lips broke apart, he held me close, looking me in the eye, and he said words that surprised me more than anything else about the moment.

“I want to go further this time,” he breathed, his voice full of desire for me. “I want to feel you in me, Ben.”
