Justice for Jason: An MM Shifter Mpreg Romance (Wolves of Solara Book 2) by Charlie Tran (16)

FOREST

"Shhh, it's okay." I smiled at Willow. He was crying loudly, probably missing his other father, just as much as I was right now. "He'll be back soon, okay?" We had to believe in him. This crazy scheme, this plan for them to break into this place and destroy Declan and his syndicate. While I didn't completely believe that it would be possible for a few wolves to do this on their own, just seeing Jason's conviction to protect his family forced me to put my faith into him. I had to believe in him.

I jumped, hearing my phone start to ring off to my side. I leaned over to glance at who was calling, the name flashing on the front of my smartphone. Jason! He was calling, did that mean everything had gone off without a hitch? Or was something more dangerous happening? I answered promptly, picking it up and putting it to my ear, "Where are you? What's going on? Are you okay?" He started to spew out question after question. Questions that I thought of all people I'd be the one asking him that. And that made my heart skip a beat in fear.

"I'm at Jude's still. Why? What's going on?"

"No one has come by?" He sighed with what sounded like relief, as though a heavy weight had been lifted from his shoulders. "No? It's just us. What about you? Are you okay? What happened?"

"Nothing, we're on the way back. Don't answer the door if anyone knocks. And make sure the door is locked."

"O-okay."

And with that, the phone hung up. What was that about? With Willow in my arms, I headed straight towards the foyer to look at the front entryway, eyeing each lock of the front door to make sure they were all in place. Indeed they were, but the way he was talking made me believe that people were going to come here. Nobody knew where Jude lived to my knowledge. So what was he freaking out about? Whatever it was, he seemed earnest. I took Willow and went straight back into the bedroom I'd been staying in. I locked that also, and sat down on the bed, clutching my baby against my chest and rocking him back and forth, scared out of my mind.

I waited, and waited more in silence as Willow had finally calmed down from his screaming.

It was only twenty minutes before there was a knock at the front door, and I could feel my heart practically jump out of my chest. Who was it?

A moment later the door swung open, and sounds of a few people entering the house sounded. I forced myself to remain calm, taking in a deep inhale as I walked over towards the bedroom entrance. I dropped down to the floor, pressing my nose close to the small space between the bottom of the door and the floor, taking another deep sniff as a smile arose to my face.

It was them, they're back! I hopped up onto my feet, unlocking the door and running out into the living room.

"Forest!" Jason shouted, jogging towards me and taking me up into his arms. He lifted me up and began to spin me around, planting a welcoming wet kiss to my lips with a bright grin. "No one came, then?"

"No, we were just waiting in the room. Nobody else has come by." I sighed, leaning into his chest and wrapping my arms tightly around his middle.

"He was bluffing after all," Jude said with a smug tone, turning to stare down Lucas with a smirk.

"Whatever." Lucas waved him off, though winced as he did so. Only then did I notice the iron smell of blood coming from his direction.

"Are you okay?" I asked as I leaned a bit off of my lover, giving Lucas a quick glance-over. He nodded as he turned away from me, walking towards the kitchen while gripping his shoulder.

"It was honestly a minor injury. But we actually did it. We were finally able to get rid of Declan. We won't have to worry about them fucking with us anymore for a long time. Hopefully forever." Jason sighed happily, planting a series of kisses across my brow and forehead as he turned me to face him once again.

"I can't believe you actually did it."

"Yeah, it was quite the fuckin' scene," Jude said, plopping down onto the couch. Jason led me over to join them after I ran back into the room to pick up Willow, all of us sitting down together, aside Lucas who was washing himself up in the kitchen sink. And they told me everything. Every last gory detail of what had happened this evening.

.

I sat in awe, hanging onto every last word of what Jason had to say as he now bounced Willow against his chest. How they got to Declan's house with such ease, how it was Detective Evan who had been screwing us over since the start. It was all starting to make sense. And the fact that they were able to take them out just made me feel that much better. Finally, we would be safe. He had also called George in the middle of the conversation, who seemed to be recuperating just fine in the hospital. They had suspected that maybe an attack would happen to him if it wasn't me, but he was alright. Well, as alright as someone who had ingested poison would be doing anyway. But he was awake, and hadn't been assassinated.

I sighed, leaning back into the couch and placing the back of my forearm across my forehead with a sigh.

"I can't believe that it's over," I said. Jude was sitting on the other sofa, wrapping up Lucas' shoulder while he grunted in disapproval.

"For now. But there's still more to deal with. Leon." Our Alpha snorted, tying off the cloth strips he had ripped up for his pack mate. Lucas whined as Jude patted him rather roughly against his wound, standing up now and taking a long much needed stretch.

"That's right, I didn't even think about that." I scratched the back of my head as I leaned forward, resting my elbows against my knees and stared at the floor in thought. While we did get rid of what seemed to be the major problem at the moment, Declan, Leon was still out there, somewhere. But it seemed more like Declan was the one calling the major shots. With him and now Detective Evan out of the way, things should be much easier for us.

"Declan was lording over him, anyway. He couldn't be pulling that much weight in their gang.”

"No, but now that they're both gone, what will he do?" Jude countered.

"Hopefully he'll drive him and the rest of his gang to the ground. He's fuckin' impulsive and that's not the making of a good leader." Lucas rose from his seat and stomped towards the coat hangers next to the door. He grabbed his jacket, slipping it over his shoulders without replacing a shirt. It was cold, where was he going dressed like that?

"Where are you headed?" Jude asked, with a worried tone to his voice.

"I'm headed out to go find Silver."

"He's probably still at the hospital with Alfie." Jude nodded as Lucas headed out of the door, waving a farewell to the rest of us.

"I guess we should get the rest of the stuff out of that house and put it into storage," I said, breaking the air of silence around us.

"Why? Just stay here. We'll get the basic things, but fuck the rest of it. I don't want you to go back there anyhow," Jason said as he scooted closer towards me on the couch. Carefully, while Willow was in his other arm, he wrapped his free one around me, pulling me in close against him. I missed him so much, laying here like this. Just being a family.

"What about us? What are we gonna do?" I looked up to him, pressing my chin against his chest. He stared down at me with a soft smile.

"You both are welcome to stay here with the rest of them." Jude frowned, but that small hint of a smile to his eyes let me know that he wasn't that upset that he'd be having us here.

"Really, Jude? You're like our Pops now." I grinned at him as he stuck his tongue out childishly.

"Whatever."

"I hope we can finally be at peace with all this Grey Brotherhood nonsense. I just wanna be able to live with one another and be safe for once. Start our family. Oh!" Jason hopped up, standing up after pushing me off of him gently. He passed Willow off to Jude and ran outside with a quick, "I'll be right back." And with that, he was out the door quicker than Lucas was.

I raised an eyebrow at Jude who just shrugged in response. Where was Jason going after everything that had happened?

It was only minutes before he returned, a small black cloth tied with a string in his hand.

"I have something for you. It's been in my glove box for a while now." His eyes kept jumping over towards Jude who was still holding onto his new pack mate, bouncing him against his shoulder. When I tried to gauge what it was they were expressing to one another, all I could see was a smirk and nod from Jude before he began to walk off towards the kitchen with my baby. "You' have my permission,” he called out with a half-hearted sigh masked with the restraint of his smirk trying to turn into a smile.

"Come on, pup. I think there's still some formula in here we can warm up for you,” he said, Willow yawning in response.

"What's going on?" I asked, finally pulling my eyes away from Jude and watching as Jason came closer.

"With everything that's been happening. With the Grey Brotherhood. With your pack. With us. I just thought it would be fitting, and would give me a better piece of mind if I asked. I have to ask."

Jason reached into the bag as he moved in front of me as I still sat on the couch. My eyes widened, my hands pulling close towards my mouth as I watched him slowly kneel down onto a single knee, retrieving a small velvet box from the inside of it. He took in several breaths, looking up towards me with an unsure look to his face. The box was faced towards me as he opened it up to reveal a beautiful band with a row of small diamonds embedded within the front of it.

No. No this wasn't happening to me right now.

"Forest."

Oh my Gods.

"Will you marry me?"

I felt like I could faint. The suddenness of it all, the impromptu timing. It just made it that much more intense. And how fast my heart was beating, and the lightheadedness I was experiencing, I couldn't think of a better moment for me to just pass out right then and there.

"Jason... You've… You've helped me through so much. I don't think you'll ever know how it meant to me for each and every time you've come to my rescue," I started, my hands shaking as I reached forward to take wrap my hands around his that presented the ring. "I could have never expected that from what happened at Club Mega for you and I to meet one another for us to reach this point. I love you."

I leaned forward, the back of my knees against the edge of the couch as I moved over him to place a kiss to his lips.

"So is that a yes?" he asked, taking the ring out of the box and snatching my hands into his. Placing it onto my left ring finger.

"Of course it's a yes, idiot." I giggled, squeaking out in surprise as he took me into his arms, leaning his head against my knees.

"Forest you've taught me so much. I can love again, and I can love you and Willow with the entire capacity of my heart and then some. I want to do this right, and have the family I never thought I would be able to after what happened. I love you so much."

"I think that's our cue, little pup." Jude coughed awkwardly from the side. I glanced over the back of the couch to watch him as he carried Willow into one of the back rooms where Lucas and Silver usually slept, a bottle in Willow's mouth he suckled hungrily with his eyes fell shut.

Jason gently placed a hand to the back of my head, turning me around to face him again only to be swarmed by his large frame. He pressed a kiss onto my mouth, while his other arm tucked underneath my knees. As he stood, he took me with him. Not breaking our kiss as he carried me out of the living room and towards the room I'd been staying in.

I fell with an oof as Jason had tossed me on the bed. The romanticized look within his eyes changing slowly as he stared down at me sprawled out, leg to the side with a hunger that slowly grew to replace it. I moved to sit up, but instead was shoved right back down onto the bedding as he crawled over, pressing his body atop of mine while staring into my eyes.

He lingered for a while, simply watching, but I couldn't wait for him anymore. I reached for the hem of his shirt, tugging it towards me, wordlessly suggesting for him to remove his shirt already. He took the hint, shaking his head briefly as he removed his shirt, like he was snapping out of some type of daze. While lifting it over his head, I couldn't help but cringe to see how his body was looking. So battered, scarily pale, bruised. As the shirt was tossed down to the floor, I placed my hand to his torso. My fingers trailed lightly up the flesh of his abdomen towards his chest, being as gentle as possible to not press too firmly onto the many bruises that littered across it.

"Jason," I started to say, but jumped as I bit my lip to silence myself when my partner suddenly snatched my hand into his own, keeping me from feeling around and examining the rest of his wounded body.

"Don't worry about it,” he breathed, leaning closer towards me until I could finally feel his lips pressing onto mine. I couldn't resist that melting sensation that crept across my body. All of my worries, all of my troubles just drifting away. For at least right now, everything would be alright. So I gave in. His hands crept underneath my tee, and with my lover's help he was able to pick it up completely from over my head, tossing it down to join his clothing on the ground.

Every kiss of his remained just as loving as the one before, his hands greedily fingering the button of my pants, while I reciprocated, tugging at his black sweats for him to remove them. We remained glued to one another, our kisses breaking only briefly for air.

In mere seconds we were both bereft of clothing, our members briefly pressing against each other as he angled his body to lay completely on top of mine. He was raised above me, his arms planted on either side of my head, his hips rocking to and fro as the head of our shafts continued to rub together. I winced at the sensation, while Jason smiled above me, enjoying how much it was teasingly painful for him to keep toying with me like this. It felt like an eternity since we'd been together, and how it was I wanted this moment to last forever. But I needed him, as I always did.

I grabbed the back of my right knee, my left one cocking off to the side to expose myself more for him. His eyes turned down for a moment, staring at my new positioning as I released my leg to rest against his shoulder.

He must have been as needy as I was, as he wasted no time to take his cock within his hands, angling it downwards to press against my entrance.

The head rubbed against it for a moment, and I blushed, trying to hide my embarrassment at the sensation of how wet I really was down there.

He grunted, lubing his member up with the fluid that continued to flow from me. I sucked in a breath, waiting for him to come inside of me. That familiar tightness of me squeezing around his large head as he pressed himself slowly into me was almost too uncomfortable to bear. But as it finally pressed in completely, a wave of relief washed over me. I breathed into it as he started to move himself in and out at a delicate pace, getting me comfortable and relaxing me.

"Jason," I groaned out his name, reaching up to grapple his shoulder, sharing space with the leg that rested on top, allowing him to move in deeper within me. "I love you." I could feel tears beginning to well at the corners of my eyes, and I wasn't exactly sure why. I wasn't a crier after sex, but an overwhelming flood of emotions came pouring out.

"I love you too,” he huffed breathily, leaning further over me until his chest slightly brushed against mine while his hips continued to thrust in and out of me, his pace building up. I arched my back into him, pressing our bodies together after sliding my leg off of his shoulder. I spread my thighs wide out to either side, one hanging off the edge of the bed while he pushed himself into me. His breath brushing against the outside of my ear, causing a shudder to travel down my spine.

"I love you so damn much." His panting became ragged, now resting his full weight upon me and running his hands into my hair, pulling at it gently by the roots as hips thrusts became harder, pounding into me even faster while he and I both gasped for air. I put my arms underneath his and wrapped them around his torso, clawing at his shoulders as I felt his hips slamming into mine.

This time, I could feel that familiar throbbing deep within me, pulsing against my inner walls. And as soon as I felt the sensation, it was removed. Jason gasped as he withdrew, just quickly enough to not get knotted deep inside of me again. He began to spurt his seed across my stomach and hips, grasping onto my own throbbing cock and beginning to pump, still moving his hips as though he was inside of me as he continued to release, his manhood swelling up considerably. It seemed almost painful for him to not be buried deep inside of me as he released, the constant wincing he gave, the gritting of his teeth as he stroked me to satisfy my needs as well.

It was only a minute before I busted in his hands, my cum pooling down the edges of his palm and over his fingers while he gave my shaft several firm squeezes, making the pleasurable sensations last even longer by preventing me from releasing all at once, but instead controlled by the pressure he would give when squeezing and releasing. My brow dripped with sweat as I clawed at the sheets, tossing my head back into them as Jason continued to gently stroke it after I'd released all that would come.

Both of us panted, and the bed felt damp beneath us, a mixture of sweat and cum before he laid himself down next to me, careful of his still swollen shaft to move onto his back, taking me against him to lay at his side.

I looked ahead towards the hand I had resting on Jason's chest, at the ring that adorned it now. I was engaged. I was going to have a family, finally. With the one person who would stop at nothing to protect Willow and I. I smiled at him, pressing another kiss to his shoulder as he stared up at the ceiling.

"Are we trying to have another pup? If you want one, we can always go again." He snickered, but I doubted his manhood could hold up to the weight of his words. I shook my head, pressing my forehead against his arm and scratching him gently near his nipple with my claws. I smiled at the shudder he gave.

"No, we're not. Not yet, anyway. Give me a couple of years after we get married."

"What, so wait another two years? I guess I won't be a total old man by then." He smiled, turning his head over to stare down at me, sitting up.

"More like three or four years. Unless we got married tonight," I joked as he grabbed the hand that had slid down from his chest onto his thigh as he moved.

"Why not?" he asked, a new found wave of energy coursing through him after I thought he had expended all of it.

"Wait. What? Elope?" I cocked my head to the side, sitting up as well, still covering my lower half with the sheets while his body was fully exposed with little care.

"Yes. Right now. Jude's our Alpha, he can consummate. Let's go."

My eyes widened, and that fast beating of my heart picked up once more. "Are you serious?"

"Yes. Let's get married right now."

"Shit, Jason. You really can't wait, can you?" I smiled, leaning forward to kiss him gently upon his lips. "Fine. Let's get married and live happily ever after."

He moved off of the bed, quickly pulling his black pants back on as he stared out of the blinds towards downtown with a soft smile, tying the draw string. "You know, I used to never believe in a happy ending. But with you, I think I can get something akin to that."

"Do you promise.. You'll always love me?" was all I could ask, moving off of the bed, and approaching him. Still with the blanket at my waist to have a bit of decency as I placed a kiss onto his cheek while standing on my toes. He returned it, spinning around and taking me in his arms, placing another kiss to the tip of my nose.

"I promise."

My phone began to ring on the other side of the room. We shared a look, and I broke away for a moment, waddling across the room to the opposite side of the bed. I fished for my cell out of the pocket of my pants that were sprawled across the phone. Silver's name shining brightly on the phone screen. "It's Silver," I said, confused as to why he would be calling so late at night.

I answered, of course, just to see what was happening. He only spoke a few words, practically screaming before hanging up, saying that he was about to call Jude too. I turned towards Jason, my mouth agape, dropping both the phone and the cloth that covered the lower half of my body.

"Well?" Jason inquired as he came closer, looking my face over as my jaw still fell open. "What did he say?"

"Alfie." I muttered. "Alfie's awake."
