Justice: Lady Guardians by Turner, Xyla (7)

Justice

This man was driving me crazy and the irrational part about it was that, all seemed to agree that not only did I need to get laid, but I needed to let that man at least try to curl my toes. I wasn’t in agreement with what they were saying but he was wearing me out, with his persistence alone. Plus, I was hungry and hadn’t had sex in years. It was long overdue. His speech was a nicer touch, because he was right. I felt undermined.

“I’ll meet you there,” I told him as I went to pull away from him and head towards my bike.

A noise that sounded very much like a scoff was released from Alaric, which had me turning around.

“Oh, fuck no,” he huffed. “We go together.”

I laughed out loud and waved him over.

“Come on, jump on.” I said in a casual manner that made the usually cocky man, guffaw.

“I’m not riding bitch,” he exclaimed.

This had me falling over laughing and hitting my thigh.

“Aww, what’s wrong with riding bitch?” I could barely get it out from laughing so hard. “’Fraid, I might rock your world, Mr. Toe Curler.”

Alaric extended his hand towards his car and hit the alarm. The car unlocked, windows rolled down and music began to play.

“Not afraid of anything, sweetheart.” He nodded towards his vehicle. “Now, get your ass in the car. We’ll see who’ll rock who later.”

I shrugged my shoulders and got in. The man talked a lot of shit. I was praying that he could come through on at least one of those items.

We rode to the restaurant in what felt like minutes as we discussed his not riding bitch. He shared that he actually enjoyed riding, but never really had a reason to buy a motorcycle. He would ride with his cousin in Lancaster, where he had more land to just do a free run. He seemed to know more about the biker world than I would expect a district attorney to know, but the more I talked to him, the more he surprised me. There was a sensitive or understanding of him that was usually not present with other lawyers. He seemed to be able to speak to a variety of topics with expertise that went beyond the surface level.

“So, tell me about you. Alaric Hunt, not the D.A., but the man.” I challenged.

“Well, I’m an only child. I think we have that in common. Wait, do you want my resume or me? Me, now?”

He was watching me, as if this answer mattered.

“I’ve read your resume, Alaric. I’m interested in the man.” I replied with a challenging eyebrow lift.

“Fair,” he replied. “Me now. Well, in full honesty. I’m not where I want to be but working to get there. I own my home, work sixty hours a week, I try to play as hard as I work because that’s just fucked if you don’t. I want to be a good district attorney, then move on or up, one day. Settling down is in my future, so are kids. I’m not sure if that life will include Reading, as I think I’d rather them grow up in a more rural area. I’m single. Last girlfriend was about five years ago. She didn’t like my hours, and I didn’t like her attitude. Mom and Dad live in Lancaster, where I grew up. Oh, I used to play football in college.”

My head nodded as I listened with admiration.

“Five years, huh?” I smirked at him.

“I said, single, not celibate.” He returned my expression. “You?”

“Six years since a relationship. Single, not celibate.” I answered before he could ask for his benefit.

The waiter brought our orders over, causing us to pause our conversations for a minute. I resumed to give him the low down about me and slowly, his fork made its way to my plate. In return, I ate some of his food, falling into an easy sharing with our meals and life stories.

By the time it was time to leave, I asked him, “So, are you taking me to work tomorrow morning?”

“I was thinking you might need to call out,” He said with a glint in his eye, nearly causing me to choke.

“You talk a lot of shit, counselor.” I nodded towards the car. “Lead the way.”

Instead of him doing what I told him, he swung, swatting me on my ass before putting both of his hands on my shoulders and nudging me to towards the car as he guided me.

We arrived at a house, that was entirely too big for him in a cul-de-sac. It was humongous and probably had no less than five rooms.

“This is not your house,” I shook my head at the over the top place.

“It is.” Alaric noted with little pride. “More like an investment property, but it is where I lay my head.”

Shit.

“Well, it’s nice. Huge, but nice.” I commented as we walked up to the front door. “I occupy three rooms. Bathroom, kitchen and the bedroom. So, like I said, investment property.”

The man didn’t seem proud about the house, investment or anything related to the place. If I didn’t know him any better, he almost seemed embarrassed by it all. Letting me know to make a mental note to keep further comments about the house to myself.

“Drink?” he asked.

Looking at the clock, I replied, “No, but can we catch the end of the game?”

That comment had Alaric swinging all the way around to face me.

“The game? Do you mean the sweep that is about to happen? That game. Are you telling me you’re a basketball fan?” He eyed me intently.

“Urr, let’s just say, I have played some ball when I was in college and I might have a serious crush on Lebron James because he is my future husband. Me and Savannah have decided to share.” I shrugged a shoulder and sat down on the couch in front of the equally humongous television that went with the size of the house. “That is the only open relationship I will have in this lifetime.”

“Von, turn on the Lebron game,” he called to no one.

My head swirled around the room, looking for who he was talking to.

“Who is Von?” I asked, when the television turned on and the channel switched to the game.

“He’s my version of Alexa or Siri, but mine is Von.” He said as he grabbed a beer and a water for me.

“Cool,” I answered as I watched the game with intensity.

“They are going to get swept,” he said with confidence.

“Blasphemous!” I snapped.

“Truth,” he laughed at my outburst. “Major fan, I see.”

“For life. That is my husband.” I nodded and turned my head to watch yet another three from Steph Curry sink, then a steal and follow-up by then Kevin Durant.

A loud groan escaped me, as I watched Lebron James grumble too.

“He is such a whiner,” Alaric said with a shake of his head.

“Oh, this is the last date we’ll ever go on.” I waved my finger in his direction without turning to face him.

Big mistake.

Alaric tackled me and started to tickle my sides.

“Take it back,” he kept attacking me. “This is the best date, I’ve ever been on. So take it back.

I couldn’t say anything even if I wanted to, because I was laughing so hard, my stomach started to hurt.

“A-A-Ala-Alaric, stop-p-p,” I was yelling. “S-s-sor-sorry.”

“Nope, take it back,” he kept tickling my sides with his quick fingers but as soon as he acted like he was going to let up, I flipped his ass. Quickly wrapping my legs around him, I threw him off the couch, so he landed on his back on the floor with me straddling him.

Alaric looked so shocked by the turn of events, but once it registered, he had me on my back again with some jujitsu move. Yeah, it was on, because I acted like I was going to knee him in the balls, but grabbed his neck with my arm and pulled him down, until I rolled on top of him again.

“Who’s riding bitch, now?” I asked.

Too soon.

Alaric flipped me off of him, jumped up without the use of his hands and pulled me up to my feet. Nope, just over his shoulder.

Fuck me.

The man just flipped me over his shoulder and made his way up the winding staircase. The house was beautiful, even from upside down. I was still laughing and he was moving. Once, my vision was clear and there was cushion on my bottom and not his hand, I realized we were in his bedroom.

It was extremely nice but very manly. Dark oak was everywhere but there was something missing.

“Where’s your television?”

He was removing his shirt, when I finally looked at him for an answer.

Damn.

“I don’t like televisions in my bedroom.” He answered. “Now, little Ms. Jujitsu. Let’s see you try that shit on me in here.”

I started unbuttoning my shirt with my eyebrows up.

“Game on, counselor.” I stood and began to shimmy out of my jeans and underwear.

I barely got them off, before he tackled me on the bed and latched onto my lips. His knee nudged my legs open and my body welcomed him inside my legs. Then I flipped his ass over and straddled his face. He wanted to play, then by all means, let’s…

Holy fuck.

Alaric’s mouth grabbed onto my clit like a hungry lion and he began to suck as if it were breath. My body writhed to his rhythm as both of his hands palms my globes as his arms held my weight. He was controlling me from the bottom and what was shock at first, moved to downright need. Each pull on my clit, signaled a feral side of my inner beast. A thick sheet of heat came over me as I began to pant for breath. It was getting away from me and my body was losing control.

“Oh, fuck,” I shouted as a bolt of lightening struck down my spine, sending me into uncontainable spasms with, wouldn’t you know it, my toes curling.

Even Alaric couldn’t control me as I pressed down on his face with my hot center. Warm fluid released from me without my consent and the man beneath me, lapped up every drop.

Fuck me, I just had an orgasm.

“Oh my God,” I exclaimed as I lifted off of him, less he suck my clit right off of my body.

“Yeah,” Alaric agreed as he licked his lips. “I knew you’d be sweet as pie.”

My eyes had to be huge as saucers, as I stared at the man, who quickly put me under him, with my back on the bed. He smelled of me, but I did not care, my orgasm goggles were on and I kissed him hard, while wrapping my legs around his body. His hard length was pressing against my wet center, so I began to move it around, until Alaric pulled back and said, “You’re trying to kill me, huh?”

“No, I’m trying to come,” I smiled back at him, with a little more giddiness than I’d ever had when it came to sex.

I mean, having intercourse was good, but with an orgasm, I wanted to do it again. The man must have known, because he pinned down as he wrapped his lips around my pierced nipples and rubbed my sensitive clit until I was feeling the heat, lightening and those fucking toes started to curl under.

“Fuuuucccckkkk,” I screamed out.

Both of my nipples were at peaks, breast felt full and my heart was beating one hundred miles per minute. I squeezed them harder, until he pulled at the barbell with his lips.

“Goddamn, woman. Sexy as fuck,” he murmured before grabbing the condom from his jeans, rolling it on and fitting right back in between my legs.

Alaric stilled and didn’t enter, causing me to ask him, “What’s wrong?”

He sighed with a small smile, “Just remembering when I first laid eyes on you in court. Beautiful, strong, smart and I wanted to claim you. Make you mine. I wanted every part of you to be with me.”

He entered me while he was talking and the moan escaped form my mouth, “Alarrricc.”

“Just like that,” he began to move in and out, whispering how I was his and mine over and over. “That’s it sweetheart.”

The pressure was building within me again and I began to meet his thrusts and we both lost control. Fucking like animals, until my pussy clamped down on him, causing us both to cum, as if we were in sync.

“Fuucckk,” he said, as he hit the bed next to me.

“Fuck is right.” I breathed.

Sore was an understatement when I walked into work on Wednesday. A few people asked me if I was okay and others wanted to know why I was so damn happy.

Was I happy?

Hell yeah, I was happy. I had orgasms for the first time in my life and the best sex a woman could ever ask for. I didn’t even know sex could be that way. I guess I was happy. Hell, they’d be happy too.

I worked through lunch and tried not to think about Alaric and all he done to me yesterday and the night before, but the visuals were in my head and they really weren’t trying to get out.

“Hey closer, how are you?” Wendell, a junior associate, asked, when he came through the staff door. “Heard about your bike club, helping that school. That was some good publicity for the organization. Keep that up and they’ll be talking about partner soon.”

He winked at me and then walked away.

Fuck.

This was exactly the type of publicity I did not want. Everybody in the damn office, did something for a reason. I tried really hard to keep my bike world and my career separate. What I did with my career was to help people, the best way I could. With my bike world, that was for what I wanted to do. I love my girls, my club and would do anything for them. The two coming together, ugh. Was not what I was looking to do, at all.

Around eleven-thirty, Goldie texted me about one of the club’s upcoming events. It was the Ground Breaking Ceremony for Anderson Estates. I told her to put it on the calendar, so we could show our support.

The club that opened up under the Lady Guardians were amazing and all ran by great leaders who were sold out to the mission and vision of the organization. Razor and I went through their application, their charters and background. They were good and solid people that would do great things.

However, there was one group that was three towns over, that we denied from coming in under our charter. They were women and met all the logistical criteria, but I think they were more interested in wearing the colors and riding the bikes, more than the mission of the organization. The proposed President was pissed and I had heard that she connected with one of the one-percenters over near Philly. That was never good, but if they went with the one-percenters, then I really didn’t want nothing to do with their asses and I did not need a chapter that was under review because of a decision that I made. Razor agreed with my decision and I trusted his judgment.

My phone pinged, letting me know that the event had been added to my calendar. It would be good to ride out to Atlanta. The ladies enjoyed trips like that. A chance to ride on the open road with fellow riders. That shit was priceless. They were known for doing stunts, showing off and pulling pranks on each other. I had a good set of women, but we were still looking to recruit.

Five o’clock rolled around, then six and then seven. Around seven-fifteen, the night security guard passed me and said, “How late are you planning on staying?”

“Sorry, Roger. I have a deadline that I need to get done. Maybe another hour.” I replied.

He nodded at me, and said, “It’s fine. You have a visitor as well.”

A dark blond head poke through my door and I saw it was Alaric. He was all smiles, which made me smile too.

“Hey sweetheart, burning the midnight oil?” he asked but didn’t give me a chance to answer because he was behind my desk pulling me up.

There he planned a huge kiss on my lips and then stared at me like I invented sliced bread or something.

“You’re beautiful,” he said with a completely genuine smile. “Missed you today. Thought you might need some dinner.”

Then he held up a white, thick plastic bag and the aroma snuck up my nose, causing me to moan.

“That smells good,” I answered him.

“Yeah, it’s stuffed cod with lump crab meat.” He nodded towards the bag. “It’s from Sombos.”

That was the most exclusive restaurant in Reading and he had takeout?

“You ate dinner there?” I asked, with a little curiosity.

“No, my dinner’s in here. I ordered for both of us.” I must have made a face because he said, “Just spend fifteen minutes, eat with me and then I’ll be out of your hair.”

I felt bad, but nodded my head and replied, “Thank you so much for thinking of me. I get consumed quickly. I’m trying to get better but then the deadlines start creeping up on me. You know what I mean.” I realized he was a D.A. who knew all about hard work.

“Yeah, Eva, I know about it, but I’ll say this. This work is not worth missing out on life.” He nodded towards the food and continued. “Come on, eat, so you can get the fuck out of here.”

I half-smiled and started to eat the decadent meal. Mouth-watering was an understatement of how good that food was. We chatted while we both ate and of course, as we normally did, ate from one another’s containers. It wasn’t even a thing now. When we finished, Alaric took our empty containers, threw them in the trash, then pulled me up and gave me a long kiss.

“Hurry the fuck up, get home and text me,” he said as he made his way to the door.

“Yes, sir,” I said in a sarcastic tone.

He tapped the wall next to the door opening and said in a low voice, “Only call me that when we’re fucking.”

At that, I burst out laughing and finished my work like he said. When I finally readied myself for bed, and slipped under the covers, I text him to say good night.

What the hell was wrong with me, I wasn’t sure. He was already making me sappy. Well, orgasms were making me sappy.

Instead of texting me back, Alaric called.

“Hello,” I answered.

“You in bed?” He asked with a slightly deeper voice, as if he was sleep.

“Yeah, were you sleep?” I asked.

“No, just laid down. I have a big case tomorrow morning.” He answered. “How sore are you?”

“Sore, but not to the point of pain.” I shared with a smile about how I became so sore.

“Okay, take it easy. Remember, no making yourself cum. Only I do that now,” he said with a sleepy voice.

“You got it,” I found myself answering him. “Night.”

“Night, sweetheart. See you tomorrow.” He said before the line went dead.

That man was definitely sleep, I laughed to myself. He was also sweet and that was unexpected.

* * *

That weekend, we went to Jude’s, the bar, where the ladies liked to burn off steam. It was like our unofficial Lady Guardians spot. Razor advised me to go ahead and purchase it, so that it could be just that. Brooklyn had started the process and the owner was game, because I did not want to fire anyone. It was just going to be officially the Lady Guardians. He was fine, as long as he could manage it.

The music was blasting and having a bunch of women ride up, get off their bikes and dance inside of the Jude’s was a sight to see. Our hips were shaking, men were drooling and the drinks were about to start pouring. About an hour in, I received a text from Alaric, asking where I was.

Me: Out with the ladies.

Alaric: Having fun?

Me: Yup, about to go dance now.

Alaric: I got to see this. Send your location

Me: Nope. It’s ladies’ night.

Alaric: Not fair. I haven’t seen you since Wednesday.

Me: There’s always tomorrow.

Alaric: I want to wake up to you tomorrow

Well, hot damn.

“Texting your boo,” Goldie came over with a Cosmo for the both of us.

“Speaking of boos, where is yours?” I asked her.

“Oh, girl. Stop. I fucked him,” she said as she bobbed her head up and down. “Then I left him.”

Goldie’s head was still moving, causing me to burst out laughing at her shenanigans. She was the definition of extra. The woman reminded me of Nene from that television show. Used her hands when she spoke, her head, neck, those nails and hips. It was just who she was. Extra. I loved her though. She was ride or die. Any day or time. She had an interesting story, but I really wanted to be there for the man that took her down. Now that, would be awesome to see. Her and Cut.

Cut, well, she was a different story. My girl was a damn spy, if you asked me, but she was as dry as the Sahara Desert, when it came to men. Goldie would get some, but Cut acted like she was born repellent for all men. I thought she might have been gay, but she denied it. The only things she says is that men are frogs. All of them and she ain’t going around kissing frogs. We’ve all tried to talk to her and share that her logic makes no sense, because somebody had to kiss them to see if they turned into princes. But she would not hear it. At all. So, we let her be.

“You like him, don’t you?” Goldie focused on me.

Instead of denying it, I moved my drink to the side and asked, “Why do you think that?” Goldie climbed on the bar stool, leaned in and said, “Real talk, Pres. You look happy. You’re out here, shaking your ass, instead of looking like a mother hen all the time. You’re happy and if he makes you that way, then fuck everything else. Justice, you deserve a good man. No matter if he’s white, which I am shocked to be honest. And definitely since he’s the D.A. I like him, too.” She smiled, showing off that gold outline around one of her front teeth.

“I like him,” I confessed with a small smile.

“Yeah, you do.” She laughed and tossed some of her drink back. “Looks good on you, Pres.”

She left me alone again, which made me remember that I was texting Alaric. His last message about waking up with him tomorrow, sent all types of chills down my spine. So, I texted him the address.

If I would have known trouble would find its way to the bar, I would have never even responded.
