Paranormal Dating Agency: Wolf at the Door (Kindle Worlds Novella) by Nicole Morgan (6)

Chapter Seven

Natalie was breaking every rule she had. She’d given up on men, completely sworn them off until the New Year, convinced that they were all arrogant assholes who thought only of themselves.

But, Nikko, he was different. She couldn’t help the way she felt when she was in such close proximity to him.

There was no denying she’d always had a penchant for the shifters of the world. She couldn’t help her attraction toward them. And it was obvious to her that Nikko was a shifter. He had the eyes, the swagger, and the sex appeal that wouldn’t quit.

Human men always seemed to bore her, never quite keeping her interested for long enough. Nikko wasn’t just any other shifter, though. There was a dominance to him that she couldn’t be certain of, still she felt it.

“So…” her heart raced.

“What’s on your mind, gorgeous?”

“You.”

Suddenly she felt her world shift as he quickly grabbed her by the hips and lifted her onto the counter.

His large fingers dug into her waist as he pushed his body against his own and crushed her mouth in an onslaught of tongue mixed with molten lava.

She’d been right about him being a shifter. They’d always been the best lovers. Nikko was more than turning her on, though. He was devouring her.

His skin felt like fire, matching only to the liquid heat which seeped from her pussy and coated her panties. There had to have been at least one million reasons why inviting a stranger to her home was a bad idea. Damn if she couldn’t come up with a single one.

Reaching down between their bodies she pressed her palm along the outline of his cock and stroked his erection. Her pussy clenched and began to ache.

“Fuck!”

Nikko’s cry came out in a low and growling whisper. The sound may have scared some women but, it only made her want him more.

She began tugging at the button to his jeans, greedily trying to get inside and feel him in the flesh.

Her movement was halted when she felt his fingers work under her t-shirt. Trailing along her skin he found her breasts and cupped them, pinching her nipples through the thin lace of her bra while grinding his crotch into her pussy.

The room began to spin. She became consumed with the fire building inside. Every nerve of her body was screaming to be touched by him.

“Nikko… please…”

His mouth slid down her neck just as she felt him pull her t-shirt over her head. Then he yanked at the cups of her bra, exposing her tits as they hung heavy and swollen.

Just when she thought she couldn’t take anymore he pushed her down against the cold countertop and tugged at her yoga pants. Quickly working them down her hips and taking her panties with them until they were completely off.

With an unexpected force she felt him push her legs apart and back over her head. She waited for his cock, anxious to feel him slide inside of her.

With a shriek of surprise she screamed when she felt the glide of his tongue work past the slit of her pussy and flick gently against her clit.

She couldn’t get close enough to him. She began rocking her hips against his mouth. She writhed, pushing herself further into him as he continued to tease her with his mouth.

Licking, nibbling and flicking at her clit, she opened her eyes for only a brief moment before she had to close them again.

The room spun. Delirious and disoriented she was hit with a wave of euphoria unlike anything she had felt before. The more he licked her, the more she wanted. And the more she wanted, the better he gave.

A scent tickled at her nose. It was one she’d experienced before, one known to come from wolf shifters. The knowledge excited and scared her all at the same time.

Her one encounter with a wolf shifter had started hot and heavy and nearly ended violent. He’d gone from seductive to scary in less than a second and it was a memory she couldn’t readily ignore.

She began to freeze, her body no longer responding to him as she tensed under his touch.

He noticed immediately and lifted his head. Pulling her up to him he looked into her eyes.

“What is it?”

She shook her head, unable to answer, never realizing until that moment how much that one time with a wolf had truly affected her.

“No.” he cupped her cheeks in his hands and leaned into her. “Please don’t shut down on me.”

“I…”

“What? Tell me.”

Her voice seemed to be stuck, unable to convey the fear she was feeling.

“Natalie?” He breathed in deep. His nostrils flared and he drew in her scent. “Are you… afraid of me?”

She tried to look away but, he wouldn’t let her. He held her face in his hands, staring into her eyes and almost silently pleading with her.

“You are.”

“I’m sorry.” She didn’t know what else to say.

“Why though? I thought… I mean, if I was too rough –.”

“No. It’s not that. I just didn’t know that you were a… wolf.”

“Oh.” He took a deep breath and relaxed his hold on her. “And that’s a problem for you?”

“I’m sorry. I don’t want it to be.”

“It’s okay. I’m not going to force you to do anything you don’t want to do.”

There was a sadness in his eyes that she hated herself for putting there. The wolf she’d known had been rough, aggressive in the worst kind of ways and didn’t take no for an answer.

Seeing him look so hurt and almost wounded only made her feel worse. “I had a bad experience once. One that I thought I was over, but…”

“You’re not?”

“I guess not.”

“It’s okay.” He gently pulled the cups of her bra up, covering her back up.

She wasn’t sure why, but the sweet gesture seemed funny.  And she couldn’t keep from laughing.

He grinned with a look of confusion. “Am I missing something?”

“I just don’t think that is doing much.” She averted her eyes down, reminding him that she was all but naked besides the bra.

“Yeah, I guess I got a little carried away.”

Shrugging, she added, “Maybe we both did.”

“I think I better go before I can’t stop myself.”

As he turned to leave she was torn between excitement and fear. She wanted him. Not just the sex. She wanted him.

Her fear, though it was real, was something she pushed down. “Nikko, wait.”

He stopped just in front of the door. His hand was on the handle, ready to turn and walk out.

“Don’t go.”

He shook his head. “Natalie… if I don’t go now… I don’t think… God help me, but, I don’t think I’ll be able to stop myself. I’ve never felt this consumed by anyone before.”

“Tell me something.”

“What?”

“Tell me you won’t hurt me. Tell me that if I ask you to stop, that you’ll stop.”

He turned to her, his eyes dark and tortured before responding. “I won’t hurt you. I couldn’t. I don’t know how I know that, but I know it’s true.”

“Then please don’t go.”
