Peppermint Spiced Omega: an M/M Omegaverse Mpreg Romance (The Hollydale Omegas Book 3) by Susi Hawke (10)

Tom

"Just breathe, and for fuck’s sake quit fidgeting," Milo said as he pinned the holly to my lapel. "There. You are a gorgeous groom, Tom Collins."

"I hope you enjoyed saying that, because after the ceremony I'm taking Colin's name. We’ll all be the Samuels family now."

I turned and looked at my pristine white tux, its long tails and satin vest just spectacular. The shirt, bow tie, socks, and shoes were all the same pristine snowy white. I even had a snazzy white top hat to complete the look. I'd wanted to use a walking stick, but Milo and Liam had shut that right down. Colin had a white on white tux to match, except he hadn't gone for tails. And he certainly wouldn't be wearing a top hat!

Our wedding was being held in the ballroom of the local hotel. It had been easy enough to book it when we wanted to get married on Christmas Day. Everyone had rolled their eyes about our holiday wedding, but thanks to Tofer O'Toole, it would always hold a special meaning for us.

"Let's go then, Tom. The music is starting." I nodded to my best friend and followed him out of my dressing room, so happy that he'd stayed by my side and put up with me during all the highs and lows of life.

I stood off to the side in the shadows and watched as Allie walked in first. Her red velvet dress with the white fur trim around the collar, cuffs, and hem looked totes adorbs. She wore white tights and white patent leather Mary Janes on her feet. She carried a bouquet of white roses, and went to the front to stand next to Santa Kent.

Kent was wearing the Santa suit to perform the ceremony. He'd gone online and gotten ordained just for my wedding. A pair of brightly lit Christmas trees stood on either side of him, with dozens of little red, white, and green velvet bows tied to the branches among the lights.

Liam stood near the front and off to the side. He was watching over all the babies during the ceremony. The twins were dressed up too. I had them in green velveteen outfits with white accessories. Landon was wearing a little vest and pants combo with a white turtleneck and white knit booties, since the boy hated shoes. Seriously. He’d kick them off and bean someone in the head if we put shoes on his little feet. Willow was wearing a little dress with white tights and baby ballet slippers.

Colin came in on the opposite side from me, and as planned, we walked to meet each other, then up the center aisle together while a soloist sang "All I Want For Christmas Is You". He rolled his eyes with a big, cheesy grin at the sight of my top hat. Shit, he was just lucky that Milo had talked me out of the gloves.

Colin held out his arm, and I tucked my hand around it as we walked up the aisle together while all our family of friends and Colin's hospital co-workers watched with smiling faces. I smiled happily at the white linen draped chairs with alternating red or green bows tied around back.

Kent somehow managed to pull off performing the ceremony in a Santa suit without being cheesy about it, which had been hot daddy's only concern. When he got to the part where we exchanged vows, Milo stepped forward to pass us our rings.

I looked into Colin's face, and my heart melted as I began to speak. I gave him a broad wink, tipped my top hat to a jaunty angle, and said, "Colin is Tom's hot alpha daddy from now until Tom breathes that last wheezing breath in Colin's arms when Tom is old and fugly. Tom promises not to laugh when Colin's sweet ballz drag to the knees, or when Colin forgets Tom's name. Tom promises to love Colin, to be as perfect an omega as Tom can be, and to not make Colin look bad on the dance floor. Tom doesn't promise to always obey, but Tom promises to honor Colin's wishes, and to make every day feel like Christmas."

Colin grinned as I slid on his ring. I kissed the ring and said, "Tom marries Colin with an open mind and a heart full of love for his hot alpha daddy."

Colin took my hand and said, "Wow, so that's a tough speech to follow!" After everyone quit laughing, he continued more seriously. "Tom, I didn't want to know what forever looked like until you came barging into my life and captured my heart. I love you, I love our three kids, and I love that you make me wake up with a smile on my face just from knowing that you'll be there next to me for whatever the day may bring. We've been through so much together already that I know that we will make it through whatever the next hurdle is that comes our way. I promise to love you for who you are, trust you with my heart, and never leave you sitting home wondering where I am. You won't need to, because I will be right there at your side. I love you, ginger boy. Now and forever." He slid my ring on and kissed it, before we both turned back to look at Santa Kent.

Kent smiled, his eyes filled with unshed, happy tears. "By the powers vested in me by the almighty internet, I now proclaim you husband and husband, alpha and omega, partners and best friends for life. You may now seal your marriage with a kiss."

I grabbed my hat with one hand and wrapped the other around Colin's neck as he dipped me over his arm and kissed me soft and slow. When he finally stood me back up, everyone was clapping and cheering.

Kent waited for the volume to go down while we stood there and waited. Then he finally announced: "Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Dr. and Mr. Colin Samuels. Merry Christmas!"

We'd already started walking down the aisle when Kent said that. Immediately following, I heard a low "Ho, ho, ho". Colin and I looked at each other and then over in the shadows of the room where I'd stood before the wedding.

Standing there, dressed in suits that could only be described as coming from the late Regency or early Victorian era, were Tofer and a kindly-looking older man. The older man had a balding head and a flowing, snowy white beard that went all the way down to rest over his big belly. His face was radiant with joy and good nature as he waved at us merrily. Tofer waved happily and blew us a kiss.

I looked up at Colin, who was looking back at me with eyes that looked as shocked as I felt. I looked back over, but the corner was empty now. I looked back up at Colin as we reached the end of the aisle and said, "I guess that was our signal that our marriage is blessed? Or that it's a Christmas miracle."

Colin laughed and swung me up into his arms. "You're my Christmas miracle. Now come on, we've got a hell of a reception party to get to now. I'm warning you now, ginger boy. That cake better not get smashed in my face!"

I kissed his cheek and flashed my most angelic smile. "Would Tom do that?"

Colin smirked. "At this point, I'm pretty sure that Tom can and will do anything that Tom sets his mind to."

I snuggled into his neck and whispered, "All Tom wants to do right now is his hot daddy. Let's go do this reception thing and cut out early, m’kay? Tom wants to visit the North Pole later and see hot daddy's candy cane."
