I can’t sleep that night.
Zev and Alin send me off to bed early, claiming I need my sleep if I’m really to join them on their mission tomorrow. I obey, then toss and turn for hours, twisting mercilessly in the silk-soft sheets. My mind refuses to rest, boiling over with worries. My gods claim no one will get hurt, but anything could happen in the chaos that I’m sure is bound to ensue. Will anyone even want to leave with us? Those people are brainwashed, convinced that the only place they’ll ever belong is within the tight fist of the Church. And the younglings, well, they’ve never known anything but this. Even I barely remember my life before K-Day, before the Seven.
I kick the covers off and climb out of the magic bed. The door of my private chamber flickers open and I step out into the shared space, where Zev and Alin are still up, going over a hologram of the compound in hushed tones.
“Are you alright?” Zev asks when he notices me standing there.
I nod out of habit, then shake my head in honesty. “I can’t sleep.”
Zev smiles in understanding. “You must be nervous. Do you want some water?”
“No,” I shake my head, inhaling deeply to brace myself for what I’m about to request. “I want you. I want you both.”
Zev and Alin glance at each other, then Zev shuts the hologram with a sweep of his hand. As he does so, Alin closes the distance between us quickly, scooping me up into his arms and carrying me back to my bed. He lowers me gently onto the covers, kissing me slowly, deeply. As he does so, his deft fingers undo the buttons along the front of my dress, until I’m half-naked and exposed in front of him. His lips don’t pause, nibbling on my chin, trailing down my throat, cutting a quick line down my chest and to the meeting of my thighs.
My mouth opens into a moan, but I’m cut off by a new pair of lips. Lush, warm. Zev. His tongue dances with mine, as his hands move to my breasts, fingers playing with my hardened nipples delicately, but with just enough bite. It’s too much, hands on every part of me, mouths on every part of me. I feel myself coming undone before the night has even begun, every inch of my skin on fire, my body screaming for release as my mouth begs for more, more, more.
After I climax twice, my gods pull away, fingertips drawing feather-light lines of flame down my arms and legs.
“Pretty girl,” Alin says, catching my face in his big hands and running a thumb over my swollen lips. “Now it’s your turn.”
He pulls his shirt off in one smooth movement, and my hands instinctively move to his chest, tracing the grooves and ripples of his toned body. I follow the path down to the waistband of his pants, which are the next to go. I begin to fall to my knees in adoration, but Zev appears behind me, catching me by the waist.
“I need you here, baby,” he murmurs, and I feel his erection pressing against my buttocks. I gasp in surprise, but Alin is still in front of me, gently steering me downward.
I bend to their will, taking Alin’s thick girth into my mouth, as Zev teases my slick folds.
