CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE
Emilia sucked in a sharp breath when Storm grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to him.
His green eyes were blazing with a fierce, primal hunger, and heat was rolling off his broad, muscular body in waves.
“Storm...” she whispered his name breathlessly.
The heat seemed to travel from his hands to her skin and down her body. His hunger was igniting her own lust and desire. Every nerve ending was coming alive, burning with need and want. Molten heat bloomed low in her belly and spread to her core.
Emilia whimpered softly, conveying a silent plea to Storm. Her want, her need burned hotter with every breath. Her body and mind were in revolt. She just couldn’t understand or control her own feelings and desires.
She wanted Storm, and she felt this inexplicably powerful urge to bond with him.
His dragon seemed to call to her animal. Emilia closed her eyes as her animal rose. The maddening animal hunger was driving her out of her mind.
Her rational human mind screamed at her to get the hell away from Storm. Storm had a dangerous, lethal beast in him. His dragon was so close to the surface and the fearsome beast was riding him hard.
But her heart and body refused to obey her mind. She refused to leave Storm. She wanted to hold him and be close to him.
She wanted to experience everything with him. Emilia dug her nails into Storm’s broad shoulders and tilted her face up to him.
She wanted him to kiss her long and hard. She needed to know if he wanted her as much as she wanted him.
Emilia parted her lips and Storm let out a dangerous growl. She gasped when he crushed his mouth to hers. Emilia moaned as she surrendered herself to the burning, consuming kiss.
Storm kissed her hungrily, passionately, taking what he wanted and demanding more. He pushed his tongue into her mouth, tasting her thoroughly.
Emilia clung on to his powerful shoulders as she began to melt against him. Storm moved his hands down her body as he kissed her, feeling her soft, feminine curves and pressing her flush against him.
She could feel how hard and huge he was, and she gasped as a jolt of desire hurtled through her body. She was growing impossibly wet, and the unrelenting ache between her legs was becoming unbearable. She wanted Storm to touch her and ease her, pleasure her and sate her.
When Storm cupped her breasts, Emilia arched her back and murmured his name breathlessly. Her whole body was begging for his touch, and she wanted to feel his hands all over her.
Her nipples were painfully erect, and she let out a cry when Storm brushed his thumbs across those hard, puckered peaks. She wanted more, needed more.
Greedily, Emilia slid her hands under Storm’s shirt and savored the feel of his muscular, ripped torso.
Storm let out a warning snarl when she ran her hands up and down his chest. “Emilia, if you continue touching me like that...”
Defiantly, she raked her nails down his back and breathed, “What will you do to me, Storm?”
In a blink, glimmering scales appeared on his neck and arms. His muscles bulged and tensed as he savagely wrestled his dragon down. His scales receded as suddenly and rapidly as they had appeared, and Storm struggled to control his harsh, ragged breathing.
His eyes were still glowing and Emilia saw the glint of claws at the tips of his fingers.
“I need to taste you,” Storm growled. “I...need...”
He clenched his fists hard to stop himself from touching her. Blood seeped between his fingers as his claws dug into his palms. He would not touch her without her permission.
Emilia saw the burning, consuming need and hunger in Storm’s eyes. But he would not give in to the lust of his dragon, even though the great beast was thrashing violently against his shields.
Emilia shivered as the erotic image of Storm going down on her flashed in her mind. Her body throbbed and ached as moisture pooled between her thighs. She was so aroused, so wet.
Seeing Storm’s dragon so close to the surface and feeling the intense heat of his desire seemed to ignite an inferno within her. The animal inside of her responded to Storm’s dragon, and she felt a strange sense of possessiveness over Storm.
She wanted him to belong to her, completely and forever.
She wasn’t at all afraid of Storm or his dragon. She instinctively trusted him.
Emilia saw the feral, burning lust and desire in his eyes. Storm had told her what he wanted to do to her. He wanted to taste her, pleasure her with his mouth. It was both a statement and a question.
She was the one in control. It was up to her to say yes or no.
If she said no, he would leave. His dragon might rip him to shreds, but Storm would honor and respect her answer.
“Yes,” Emilia whispered. “Yes, Storm.”
