Kalie felt a bit nervous as she walked down the dark street toward her house. Was that the sound of footsteps behind her? She’d been a wreck ever since yesterday, because she knew she was going to be kidnapped any minute now.

Which was exciting. And nerve-racking. And wildly erotic.

“So the reason I called,” Becca said, “is because I need a little help at a bachelorette party tonight. It’s for a friend of mine from college so I’m attending, too, and I was just going to handle it myself, but it’s a bit more work than I thought.”

“Of course. What time?” Kalie was glad for the work, but at the same time disappointed because this meant another night would pass before she could start her fantasy.

Becca gave her the time and place.

“I suggest you wear that new black dress you bought last week. Even though you’re helping organize, I’d like you to blend in with the partiers.”

“Okay, sure.”

“And one more favor. I ordered a gift for her and it just arrived today. I’m running around trying to make sure everything’s set for tonight, so could you pick it up for me and bring it to the party. I arranged for the store to gift wrap it.”

“Sure. Whatever you need.”

“Thanks, hon. You’re a doll. And don’t worry. You’ll get your fantasy soon. I promise.”

Kalie stepped into the restaurant where Becca told her the bachelorette party was and glanced around. A tall redheaded woman wearing a black skirt and white shirt greeted her.

“Good evening. Do you have a reservation?”

“No, I’m actually here for a bachelorette party. My name’s Kalie Terron. I’m helping Becca, the organizer.”

“Oh, of course. Just wait here a minute and I’ll get someone to take you to the private room.”

A few seconds later, a smiling man in a suit approached her. He was very good-looking. Tall, broad shouldered, his light brown, wavy hair swept back from his rugged face.

“You’re here for the bachelorette party?”

“Yes, thank you.”

“I’ll show you to the room.”

She followed him through a door and down a stairway. The place was dark wood and felt very old and had a lot of character. Once at the bottom, he gestured for her to precede him down a hallway past one doorway to a room with a boisterous party going on, then continuing to the end of the hall.

“Turn right at the end,” he instructed.

When she reached the end the only option was to turn right as he’d said, so she started down the new hallway. But all she could see was a doorway out of the building.

She gasped as a hand covered her mouth and she was pulled against a hard body behind her. Then she was hustled through the door and into a waiting van. Another man pulled her inside, and the doors closed behind her. Her heart pounded as adrenaline surged through her.
