“Congratulations Class of 2017!”

Savannah threw her cap in the air with the rest of her graduating class. She was finally finished. She waved to her family in the crowd before following the mass of students to the grass area nearby.

Spence found her right away and caught her in a hug. “It’s about time. I’m sick of hearing about school and homework and projects and—”

She laughed. “Yeah, I get it.”

“I saw Professor McHotPants back there. He was probably looking for you.”

“I’m not a student anymore.”

He grinned. “No more secrets, right? You can get him off right here if you want and the faculty can’t say shit.”

“Wow, Spence, that was probably the sweetest thing I’ve heard all day.”

He put his arm around her shoulder. “Just saying. Now you two can be a thing and it’s no biggie.”

“That’s true.”

Which relieved her. Davin had been arguing with her about it for weeks. Come live with me, come to my office for a “meeting,” let’s grab dinner. And she hadn’t been able to do any of those things because she’d wanted to keep their relationship professional.

Not to say she hadn’t tiptoed to his house a night or two and gotten lost in the sheets. After all, she’d promised him there was no more pretending. She wanted to be with Davin, and she wanted to make sure he knew it.

But now, she didn’t have to keep it from anyone.

Savannah kept looking for Davin, but didn’t see him. She talked with her family and took pictures with her friends, but still didn’t see him.

When she was about to go looking for him, she spotted him. Right by the entrance to the school, shoulder propped on the brick of the building. Glasses on.

His eyes locked on hers and her pussy ached. She walked over, her graduation cap in her hand.

“Being antisocial?”

He smiled. “Waiting for you.”

Before she could answer, he grabbed her and crushed his mouth to hers. His tongue sought entrance and she opened immediately, tongue mingling with his.

“Pro—”

“Davin,” he murmured against her lips. “From now on.”

“Davin. We’re not the only ones out here, you know.”

He kept his gaze locked on hers. “And?”

Savannah laughed. “Okay, you’re right. We can do what we want now, right?”

“Right. And I want you.”

She kissed the stubble on his jaw, the freedom if it all hitting her. She could kiss, touch, spend time with Davin all she wanted now.

“I’m pretty sure the rest of my day is open. I just need to get out of these clothes.”

He grinned, brushing his hand down her cheek. “I can help with that.”

“I don’t doubt it.”

“Where are we going?”

She expected him to say his house, or her apartment, somewhere they could be alone. But he didn’t.

“To dinner. It’s your graduation present,” he said. “Somewhere everyone can see us and know you’re mine.”

She suppressed a shiver at the idea. “Deal.”

“And then our place.”

She blinked. “What?”

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a key. “Our place. I want you to move in with me.”

“Really?”

“You hardly even spend time with me before because of our situation. We don’t have a situation anymore. I want you with me in my house.”

She took the key from him. “Okay. Yes. I’ll move in with you.”

“Good. And one more thing?”

Her heartbeat picked up. She wasn’t sure what else he was talking about, but her mind was already reeling. They’d been careful for weeks, avoiding touching each other at school, and now he was all hers.

“I love you, Savannah.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck, heart bursting. “I love you, too. Professor.”

“I’ll allow that this one last time. But then it’s Davin from now on.” He grinned. “Or sir.”

She laughed and nodded. “Of course.”

“Now that we’ve got that clear up…” Davin let his hand tangle in her hair. “Kiss me in front of all these people. They can’t do anything about it.”

He was right. And right now, that’s all she wanted. To kiss him and start their lives together. “Yes, sir.”
