CHAPTER TWENTY
Kerry saw the feral glow enter Nathan's eyes as his wolf rose. She didn't speak her last three words aloud. A small part of her was afraid that Nathan wouldn't say it back. It was too much, too soon. And yet, everything felt so right.
Kerry pushed away all her thoughts and worries so she could savor Nathan fully. She loved all of him, and she wasn't scared of his wolf. His wolf was a part of him, and she knew that Nathan would never hurt her.

Kerry forced a breath into her lungs. “I...”
“You want me. You want...us.” When she started to shake her head, Nathan ran his thumb over her lips and said, “Don't deny it, Kerry. I can scent your emotions and your hunger. We are mated, and the mate bond is undeniable and unbreakable. I found you, and I won't let you go. Be with me, Kerry.”
“Nathan...” Kerry swallowed. She did feel deeply for him, and she did want to be with him. Being with Nathan just felt so right, and she had never felt safer or happier with a man.
But...
“I can't move in with you,” Kerry said, pulling her hand away.
Nathan's eyes followed her as she backed towards the door. But he made no attempt to stop her.
“I may be your mate, Nathan, but I'm also Tia's sister,” Kerry whispered. In a firmer voice, she said, “My sister needs me. I can't leave Tia. I can't, and I won't.”
