He wants it all by Marilena Barbagallo (32)

Acknowledgments

I've always done all by myself. To a certain extent, I consider myself a loner. Writing is for me something so intimate that sometimes I think it is mine and mine alone. But it is not so. It is true that writing comes from the soul of the one who puts one word behind the other, that it is a cry out that spills out on a white sheet and becomes a protest, a request, a venture, a story, a novel, but it is equally true that it belongs to everyone. My writing was born for me and just for me, but then it has become for everyone. You all. It is not anything private and personal anymore, it has become a sharing. And in this little world of readers, writers and bloggers, I've met so many friends. Now I do not do it all by myself. I look forward to your opinions, your comments, I think about you as I write my stories. I often think, "Will Silvia kill me if the book is not self-concluding?", Or, "Angela, what will she think about Ambra? She likes hard women!", moreover, "Will my Pink Valentina Pepper like this ever present dark atmosphere?". I always think of each of you, something more to give, to novelty, to originality. Not only to give you a story that can warm your hearts, but above all for myself, to improve and to continue to gain the trust of those who spend precious time on my characters.

So THANK YOU TO ALL YOU.

I thank Joseph Cannata for allowing me to use one of his pictures to make the cover. You represent Krum's character perfectly. There is no better model than you. Besides, you know, I imagine Krum exactly like you.

Laura Pellegrini, it would take a whole page to thank you and maybe it will not be enough. You were a kind of mum-author for me, one of my first colleagues to believe in me. I've always appreciated it and I will never forget it. Your help was great, you were impeccable and you showed me what my eyes weren't able to see. Thanks to you, now, I feel more aware and also somewhat obsessed by commas, I admit it. The most important thing was, of course, the beautiful relationship that we've created, the complicity I did not expect to find, especially in a virtual world. Thank you.

Valentina Abbruzzese, mon amour! We've known each other for a year and I'm so happy to have met you along my way that I'm going to be your stalker for a lifetime. "Say: yes, I want it." Thank you for everything, I always tell you, but it will never be enough. I always wonder how every novel I write may hit you. You are one of the few people who immediately understands my messages, even before I understand them myself. A miracle! Thank you My Pink.

Samuela Senna, you are one of the few people I've really known. You know that when we met, I told you that it was like having known you forever. You are able to make everyone feel comfortable because you are genuine and sincere. I thank you for believing in me and because I know that when I need you, I can count on you.

Katya, oh moya Katya! Thank you so much for being the translator of Krum. Thanks for your availability. You have been indispensable to this novel. At first I was deeply embarrassed to ask for the translation of certain words (Krum's thoughts were not entirely... clean. In my mind I thought you would have considered me crazy. How can I blame you! Krum warmly thanks you: blagodarya!

Pierangela Botta, you and I laugh a lot. We've been crying for some time (because of our traumatic readings. Thanks for being one of the first to read my stories and endure my uncertainties. I know I'm repetitive sometimes, so thanks for your patience.

Greedy ones, you would need a myriad of thanks. You are definitely my reference point. Every time I have a problem, a doubt, or just want to get on somebody's nerves, you are always there, ready to take away all the bad mood and make me smile. Thank you for always being with me. Your friendship is really precious.

Thanks to all the Italian Facebook groups, that - every day - give my novels the chance to be known. Thanks to the blogs that review my books. The work you do is very important to us writers, and you do it with passion and professionalism.

I thank Annette and Joshua Gullotta for having translated "He wants it all" in English. I guess it was not easy to translate a novel like this. I hope that, in addition to the work, you have appreciated the story and liked the characters. Thank you for your professionalism and dedication.

I thank all the blogs that have enthusiastically welcomed the release of my first book translated in English. I will not forget your support.

Finally, last but not least. Thanks to my Love because he is certainly my first reader. If he does not like something, the situation is really critical. I love you, I'll also say it in Bulgarian: obicham te.

THANK YOU
