The Soldier Went South: An Mpreg Romance by W. Mae Smith, Ashton Stellys (4)

Justin

I couldn’t believe what I was reading when Rory messaged me two days before I was getting on a plane to see him. Was this seriously happening? Was I about to get on a plane to start a life with my mate? His last message ‘Yes Justin I do’ had my brain stirring and my dick throbbing. My knot was getting hard before even being on the same continent as him. Regardless of what was going to happen in our future, this was going to be an amazing two weeks. We arranged to rent an Air B’n’B for the first two weeks, and spend the last week with our families over the actual dates of Christmas. I had to see him first. The pressure in my groin was so strong for him I was past being able to relieve it myself.

Ring Ring

It was Rory requesting to video chat. We had tried video chatting here and there but his reception was so bad it became a bit more awkward than sexy. I accepted the call. “Hey you.” His eyes were deep and round like a puppy dog. His shaggy blonde hair all messy in front of his eyes, it was all too much.

“Hi!” He said overly excited and waving his free hand in front of the screen. He was clearly in a public place because he had headphones in. He looked like he was on a bus. “I’m on the bus to the airport!” he confirmed. His lips were pouty and rose red. I wanted them around my cock so badly.

“Oh that’s awesome!” With the time differences and his flight being longer, he had to start his travel a day earlier. I was leaving tomorrow morning. God, he looked good. It was making waiting one day seem impossible. “I’m packing.” I was in my room with my suitcase open, but hadn’t in fact actually started to pack yet. I lay down on my bed and began to touch myself as he talked. I couldn’t help it.

“I won’t be getting there until about 4pm tomorrow.” He said as he brushed a golden curl away from his eye.

“Ok…” I thought about what time I was going to arrive. “Hmm… I’ll be getting in around 8pm should we just meet at our place?” As I said it I realized it might be a bit awkward. Here I am picturing him to be my mate, but at the same time realizing pulling up to a house we rented together just the two of us could potentially be horribly awkward. It had been nine years after all.

We had not seen each other since he left me, with his mother, crying our eyes out in the airport praying for my safety. At that moment I thought I would never see him again.

“Well I’m renting a car when I arrive, I can drop my things off, check in, and than come pick you up from the airport?”

Phew. That, for some reason, made me feel a lot more at ease. “Yes that sounds great!” I took one last look at his cherry lips, “I can’t wait.”

After I hung up the phone I started to pack. I heard a knock at the door. It was Manny, Ryan’s omega, back from Mexico. I opened the door and he came pilling in, an enraged messed.

“Are you fucking kidding me? I leave for TWO nights, TWO fucking nights! And you take Ryan out booty hunting behind my back!” Uh oh. Now I was in trouble.

“It wasn’t like that Manny.” I was trying to plead innocence

“Oh sure! That’s why I woke up to some slut messaging him this morning!” He was pacing around my apartment throwing his hand around. “You better start talking Justin! I know you know what happened. Who is this little slut?” Ok this was beyond me. I had no idea if Ryan had gone home with anyone that night, and if he had, I had no idea with who.

“Honestly Manny I—“ Ryan burst through the door, out of breath.

“Jesus Manny!” But he seemed compassionate. “I told you, Justin was feeling down and I took him out. The only reason I gave ‘that little slut’ my number was because I was trying to set him up with Justin. He was leaving with a friend and I told him to call us later if he wanted.”

“And why the fuck didn’t you give him Justin’s number?” Manny pointed out and it was a valid point. I wasn’t sure if I even believed Ryan with that answer.

“I don’t know, I was drunk! Please Manny, you know I love you.” With that Manny stormed out of my room. Ryan bounded after him, then stopped in the door way and turned to look at me, “You know I would never, ever cheat on him, right?” His face was honest and sincere.

“Of course.” To be honest I had never really thought about it, but now that I had, it was very clear Ryan would never hurt Manny.

When they had both left I sat down on my floor staring at my suitcase. Wow, was that what it was like to have a mate? I smiled to myself. Yes, of course. Manny loves Ryan so much he’s scared to lose him even after they’ve mated. I wanted someone to care about me that much. Not only that, but after they made up tonight, which they would, their make-up sex was going to be out of this world.

I finished packing and headed to bed. I dreamt of Rory’s adorably sexy face all night.
