A Kiss Of Madness by Stacy Jones, K.B. Everly (16)

“Feel better, Little Flower?” Pierce asked.

I could hear the smug smile in his voice and pried my eyes open to give him a look, but returned his smile with a shy one of my own.

“Yes, I feel much better. Thank you,” I murmured.

I wasn’t being entirely honest with him. That frantic arousal was still there. It wasn’t all-consuming anymore, and I could think about something other than the absolute need to sate it, but I could sense it just beneath the surface as if it were waiting for the opportunity to pounce. It worried me, made me wonder if those manic episodes I’d been having were changing into a different kind of frenzy, but I didn’t know how to say that to him.

He snorted quietly and laughed, shaking his head. “Trust me, that was far from a hardship. We should be thanking you.”

I glanced away from him, feeling suddenly embarrassed. I didn’t know what they must be thinking of me, but my insecurities were screaming that they would think I was easy. Even Emmett holding me close, nuzzling his face into my neck with his cock still buried deep inside me, didn’t stop those whispers in the back of my mind telling me they’d leave now.

This wasn’t like me. I didn’t have sneaky, semi-public sex. I didn’t lose control of myself like that. The need had just been so intense that I couldn’t contain it. It was almost like the too-fast feeling, but instead of the world scraping at my nerves it was lust inflaming them.

When Pierce saw the expression on my face he moved closer and cupped my cheeks, making me look at him. His teasing smile was gone, replaced by seriousness.

“Uh uh, none of that, Little Flower. You needed us. There’s no need to be embarrassed or shy. And you damn well better not regret that because it was fucking amazing.”

“It’s just… I’m not usually like that and I—”

Emmett stopped me by gently sinking his teeth into the skin of my neck. I gasped and shivered, taken off guard and still too hyper sensitive for that much stimulation, my walls clamping down around his semi-erect shaft. The arousal flared warningly, and I turned my head to peer up at him in wide-eyed surprise. He frowned at me, one of the first expressions of displeasure I’d seen on him, as if he were genuinely upset that I was self-conscious.

“We like you, Lydia. A lot. That’s damn sure not going to change. Especially not because you trusted us enough to take care of you. Even if it was just us satisfying you, which is what we intended, each one of us would happily do it again in a heartbeat. Hell, we’d take care of you ten times a day, every day, if you let us,” he promised, his voice deepening to a purr.

I blinked at him, taken aback at the intensity in his bright green stare. I didn’t imagine most men would balk at the opportunity to get a woman off, but something in his gaze or his tone told me it was more than that for him. He really meant it when he said he liked me. I felt butterflies erupt in my middle and smiled, my embarrassment fading in the face of his sincerity.

“What he said,” Pierce quipped.

I huffed a laugh only to moan when Emmett gasped behind me and pulled me down harder on him.

“Fuck,” he growled, his voice shaking slightly. He nipped my ear. “No laughing while I’m buried inside you unless you’re ready for round two, Pretty Pixie.”

My lips parted on a long exhale, and my pulse sped up as I contemplated saying yes, but Mason, apparently deciding his lookout duties were done, joined us and stopped the words from escaping.

Sitting down beside us, he searched my face and asked, “Am I forgiven, Baby?”

“I was never mad at you,” I answered, smiling softly.

He relaxed, sighing in relief, and held his hands out for me. Emmett grumbled but slowly, reluctantly, lifted me up, causing both of us to groan as he slid free. He set me on my knees on the grass right in front of him, but instead of releasing me completely he pushed his big hand between my legs, cupping me, sliding his fingers through our combined wetness. I squeaked in surprise but didn’t move away.

“Shit, I shouldn’t have… ” he started, sounding both regretful and turned on as he played in the slickness dripping from me.

“It’s okay,” I breathed, my focus on his touch even though I was aware of Mason and Pierce’s attention on us. “I have an implant.”

“Thank fuck. I’m clean,” he assured.

“Me, too,” Mason added.

“Fuck me. I mean, me three,” Pierce groaned, his gaze glued to my naked lower half.

Emmett snorted and grudgingly withdrew his touch, then adjusted my clothes and his. Mason snatched me up and, as I was beginning to notice was their habit, brought me to his lap, turning me sideways so I could see all three of them.

“Playtime’s over,” Pierce muttered mournfully.

I shook my head ruefully but grinned. I felt lighter now that I knew they didn’t see me differently. Pierce sat beside Mason and me, pulled his hood back up, and guided me to stretch my legs into his lap while Mason and Emmett picked up their earlier conversation. Everything went on as if I hadn’t just lost control of myself and demanded they have sex with me. I wasn’t entirely sure how I felt about that but decided to just go with the flow and relaxed back into Mason.

* * *

Pierce caught my attention when he reached inside his hood then began nodding his head along to a beat I couldn’t hear, reminding me about the earbuds I’d seen earlier. Wiggling my foot to get his attention, I pointed to my ear and gave him a questioning look. He pulled one free and raised his brows at me.

“How’d you get those?”

He shrugged, grinning mischievously. “I have my ways. Wanna listen?”

I pulled a face at his non answer but nodded, curious as to what music he liked. He scooted closer and slipped one headphone into my ear. He was listening to a slow, acoustic cover of Harvey Danger’s song Flagpole Sitta. I laughed at the irony of his choice and shook my head.

He drummed the beat on my calves as I listened to both the music and the conversation Emmett and Mason were having. It wasn’t until I heard Mason mention another girl that my full attention went to him.

“I swear, this chick has been hounding me since the beginning of the semester to take her out.”

I immediately went still against him. I didn’t have any room to be jealous, considering what had happened between me and each of the guys, but that didn’t stop my stomach from turning over. She may not be an issue now, since Mason was here and not at school, but that wouldn’t always be the case.

He must have felt my sudden tension because he wrapped his arms around me tighter and whispered in my ear, “Don’t worry, Baby. I’m a one woman kind of man.”

I winced at having been caught, but exhaled, relieved, and turned enough to kiss him. But, when I pulled away, I couldn’t stop myself from darting a wary glance at both Emmett and Pierce. I was most certainly not a one man woman at this point. Part of me half expected them to point that out, maybe even say that this wasn’t such a good idea. I waited, but no one said anything; they all kept on like nothing odd had happened.

The guys continued their conversation, with Pierce occasionally adding in remarks, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the very strange relationship I found myself in and whether or not I had any hope of keeping it when we eventually made it out of this place. In here, it didn’t seem all that odd or unrealistic, but how would this work out in the real world? I didn’t know, and that worried me.

I didn’t want to lose them, but I didn’t know how to keep them.

I wasn’t sure how long we sat there before the orderlies shouted for everyone to come in, but it wasn’t long enough for me to come up with a solution. Emmett made sure to pluck me from Mason and plant a wicked kiss that had me gasping, before passing me to Pierce, who took his turn then handed me off to Mason. By the time they’d all kissed me senseless, thoughts of the real world and losing them were gone, hidden under giddiness and lust.
