The Woodsman by Blake North (25)

EPILOGUE

Madison

Nine Months Later

“Thank you so much for being here,” I whispered in Chase's ear.

I knew he wasn't thrilled to be dressed in what he referred to as a monkey suit. He had bought the tux after my first show. I liked to make him wear it at home sometimes just, so I could tear it off him. The man was stunningly attractive naked or in jeans and a T-shirt, but put him in a tuxedo and I was a walking, talking orgasm. He was devastatingly handsome.

I had to hide my jealousy as we mingled with the potential buyers at my art show. The women openly flirted with him, and he was kind enough to flirt back enough to make them feel special. He was my secret weapon. Women loved him, and men admired him. The two of us were the newest power couple to hit the art world, and I was reaping the benefits. With him on my arm, I felt invincible.

He sipped champagne from his flute and smiled. “I said I would always be here for you, and I meant it. It's not so bad.” He leaned in close to my ear. “Besides, I get to see you in this exquisite gown, and only I know it's the only thing you have on.”

I smiled. I had passed on that little tidbit of information when he had gotten stuck talking to a very trying man early in the evening. The man was a dick, but he had deep pockets and had a fondness for my art. I quietly pulled Chase aside to let him know I had forgotten to put my panties on before we left. It was all the incentive he needed to humor the man.

“I promise I will make all of this worth your while,” I assured him.

“You're damn straight you will,” he growled.

“Oh, I need to go talk to Doris. Be good,” I reminded him. He winked, and I practically fainted at his devilish appearance.

I greeted Doris who pulled me away from the crowd. “Madison,” she practically squealed. “You just sold three pieces!”

My eyes bulged. “I did? Already? We've only been here a couple of hours,” I said in shock.

She vigorously nodded. “I hope you’re ready to get your butt back in that studio. At this rate, your art is going to be in high demand. You have captured the attention of some of the galleries in Denver. I can broker a deal with them if you'd like.”

“Yes!” I practically shouted.

She smiled. “I thought that would be your answer.”

I shook my head in disbelief. This was my third showing, and I’d more than doubled what I had earned in two years in Florida. Even though we were in a small town, she had contacts everywhere. The wealthy loved any excuse to escape to their mountain homes and condos. An art show was a perfect excuse. Doris was the driving force behind that. She had a way of making everything sound so enticing. She created the demand. I had no problem paying her forty percent on my pieces. Things were far better than I could have expected when I’d made the decision to move to Colorado.

Chase was a dream come true. After many failed relationships, I had been close to giving up on finding a man who could really make me happy. I assumed I would have to settle and make do with what I could get. Then Chase walked into my life and everything changed. My career was skyrocketing. I lived in a place I had loved since childhood. I had made new friends, and Chase's family had accepted me as one of theirs. I had it all. I didn't know how life could possibly get any better.

“Excuse me,” Chase's voice cut through the speakers.

I turned to see him holding a microphone at the edge of the room.

“Excuse me, everybody. I'd like your attention for a minute. I want to thank you all for coming out today and supporting my beautiful lady. I know how amazing her work is, and it’s great to see so many of you appreciating it as well. I also want to thank Madison. Madison, you have made me a very happy man. I can't imagine my life without you in it. I don't want to have to imagine that.”

He reached into the pocket of his tux and brought out a small black box. My hand went to my mouth.

“Madison Carr, will you do me the great honor of marrying me?” he said, dropping out of sight as he got on one knee.

The crowd parted, giving me a clear view of my man down on the ground on one knee.

I walked toward him, my eyes filled with tears as I nodded my head. “Yes.”

He stood and wrapped me in his arms. The crowd cheered as we kissed before he slid the ring on my finger. I couldn't wait to get him home. Thankfully, the show was wrapping up, and we were able to make our escape.

On the way, I told him about something I had overheard.

“Who was it?” he asked.

“I don't know. It was a reporter from Denver. He was convinced the proposal was part of the show. He was telling someone that the proposal meshed so well with the latest pieces that spoke to happiness and newfound love,” I explained.

“It was real. You know that, right?” he asked a look of concern on his face.

“I know it was real. If it wasn't, too bad for you because I'm keeping this ring,” I teased.

“I'm glad you’re doing so well. You’re an amazing artist. I can't believe I get to be the guy you go home with every night.”

I grabbed his hand. “You're the guy who inspired all that art. You opened my eyes and showed me a whole new part of myself.”

We pulled up in front of the cabin. Plastic billowed in the wind on one side where he was working on the addition. He had hired a couple of carpenters to help out, but he was doing most of the work himself. He said it helped keep him busy and his hands off me so I could work. I knew he liked the physical labor, and I liked watching him. This summer it had been very difficult to get any real work accomplished. I couldn't contain my desire when he was shirtless with a tool belt. It was way too much eye candy for me to deal with.

“Come here,” he said, pulling me close. “I want to tell you something.”

“Oh? And what's that?”

“I've been wanting to do something all night.”

I looked at him, questioningly, but soon figured out what that something was. His hand moved to my back, and I felt him unzip my gown. It fell in a blue satin pile at my feet. I stood there, nude with only my heels on.

I moved to kick them off and he stopped me. “Leave them on.”

I raised an eyebrow but went with it. He grabbed my hand and led me into our bedroom. I turned to help him out of his tux, running my hands over his muscled arms as I pushed his shirt off. He was tanned from all the work outside over the summer, which highlighted all those muscles. I kissed a trail across his collarbone, to his neck, and then around his jaw.

When he was stripped down naked, I waited, ready for him to make me scream.

He stepped into my arms, his hard dick hitting me in the stomach. I wrapped my arms around him, squeezing his butt and pulling him closer to me. He walked a few steps forward with me walking backward until my legs hit the bed.

He turned me around and pushed my back, silently ordering me to bend over the bed. My palms pressed flat against the mattress as I walked my hands up until my body was over the mattress with my feet, still in my heels, planted on the floor. I automatically spread my legs.

His big hand spread over my back before moving down to one butt cheek. He rubbed and squeezed, before moving his hand to my already wet pussy. I had been wet all night, and now that we were finally alone, I was desperate for his touch. He worked my pussy, bringing me to climax before stepping in behind me. He fucked me slowly, despite my demands that he increase the pace. He loved to torture me. He said it made me come harder the third time. He always insisted I come several times. Who was I to ignore such a request?

I could feel my body clenching around his dick and knew the next climax was a hair's breadth away.

“Now, Madison,” he whispered from behind me.

I collapsed on the bed, my body jerking with the orgasm. He rolled me over and lifted my legs, my ankles on his shoulders.

“I like the shoes,” he grunted, pushing into me.

I couldn't speak. My body was still shuddering with my orgasm.

Once he buried himself in me, he pushed my knees out and up toward my head, giving him complete and total penetration. I wanted to scream in pleasure but gritted my teeth instead.

“Do it,” he grunted, pushing in harder.

I screamed out his name with glorious agony as he pulled out and slammed in. My pussy was clenching down on his dick. I wanted to come. I needed to come, but I couldn't. Not yet. I wanted him to keep fucking me like this. If I came, he would come, and it would be over.

“Madison,” he grunted. “Come.”

My head thrashed back and forth on the bed. “No.”

He pushed in over and over, one hand sliding under my ass and squeezing. “Come!”

I wiggled, needing to get away but wanting to get closer. The cacophony of sensations sizzling over my body was making me crazed. He pulled out a little and stood up. I cried out at the loss of feeling him so deep inside me.

“Come, Madison,” he growled, pushing in deep. His thumb went to that little nub, and I knew I was lost. The man didn't play fair.

I arched up and spilled my juices all over his dick, soaking him as I rocked through one of the most powerful orgasms I had experienced yet.

He was hammering into me, saying my name over and over as he released deep inside me.

He pulled out and collapsed beside me. “I told you before, you can't stop yourself from coming. I will always make you come.”

I laughed. It was a little game we played. Or I played, and he rose to the occasion.

“One day.”

“No day. Ever. Your body is mine. I know where to touch and with how much pressure. You're mine.”

I rolled into him, throwing an arm over him. “I'm yours.”

“Good, now that we have that established, when can we make it official?” he asked.

“Spring. I want a spring wedding in the mountains.”

“Spring it is.”

“I'm so glad I got scammed,” I mumbled, feeling drowsy after a long day.

“So am I. I hope they found the scammer. I'd like to send him a thank you card.”

I laughed. “And a wedding invitation.”

“I love you,” he said, kissing me on top of my head. “But we need to get under the covers. I'm not about to go start a fire now, and I don't want us freezing to death, naked and on top of the blanket.”

“Can I take off my heels now?” I asked.

He sat up, looked down at my legs that were still hanging off the bed. “Actually,” he mumbled.

I opened my eyes and saw his erection. The man was insatiable. He said it was all those years in prison. We had a lot of missed time to make up for. I certainly didn't mind. I was more than happy to help him fulfill every dirty fantasy he had ever thought of. The man stripped away all my barriers. Anything he wanted, I would give.
