Chapter Seven

 

Completely unlike her usual stiff and cold mornings where she struggled to get her muscles moving, Lily woke to find herself in a warm cocoon.

She was loose and relaxed and happy. Not a huge surprise when they’d had quite an energetic night learning each other’s bodies and quirks. Not to mention kinks that aligned very well.

The cocoon shifted around her with a contented sigh when she nestled closer, unwilling to break the blissful haze.

“Morning.” Kieran’s voice rumbled through her.

Lily smiled into his chest. “Morning.”

He wrapped himself around her more securely. “I don’t know about you, but I’m torn.”

She leaned back to look at him. “About?”

“What do I want more? Breakfast,” he leaned in to give her bottom lip a nibble, “or you?”

She sighed, knowing exactly how he felt. “How about we get some breakfast first and then see how things go from there?”

Kieran’s hands had started wandering, caressing whatever he could reach. “How about we stay here a bit longer? It’d be a shame to leave our nice warm haven to come back later when it’s cold.”

The man had a point.

She lay back to give him better access. “I could be persuaded.”

“Oh yeah?” He slid over her. “I guess I’d better apply myself, then, hadn’t I?” Kieran tugged her hands until they extended into the cool air over their heads. “Close your eyes and keep your hands there.”

More than eager to play another game with him, Lily did as he asked without hesitation. The feel of his thighs hard and hairy against hers—trapping her—was delightfully stimulating. Grinning, she closed her eyes and arched up into him. “Anything else you want to teach me about touch?”

He laughed again. “How about my favorite touch fact?”

With the way his body rocked against hers, Lily was quite sure that it was going to become a fast favorite of hers, too. “What’s that?”

He notched himself against her slit. “That you can’t touch and not be touched yourself.” Kieran whispered the words against her lips as he eased himself into her with one long, deep thrust.

And thank goodness for that.

The feel of him skin to skin was incredible even after the night they’d had. She was still sensitive from their last round, but the feel of him stretching her and so deep was something Lily would never grow tired of.

“You okay?”

Lily nodded and rolled her hips, earning a deep groan from him. “I will be if you start moving.”

The pleasure was clear in his voice. “Yes, ma’am.”

He released her hand then, pushing himself up slightly to get more leverage as he plunged into her. Lily let him have his way for a while, but it wasn’t long before she had to touch him. She needed to feel him.

Opening her eyes a crack, she eased her hands under the covers.

He jerked into her with a surprised shout when she brought her now cold hands in contact with his firm ass. “Jesus!”

She gave him a wicked smile as she used her ice-like hands to explore his body. “It’s your own fault they’re like this.”

Kieran smirked as he lodged himself deep, extracting a squeal of delight from her as pleasure rocketed through her. “I kinda like it.”

Laughing, she searched for a new body part of his to torment. She loved that they could tease and play even as they were locked together so intimately.

The giggles soon turned into gasps. The mood shifted from playful to intense as each did their best to push the other to climax first.

As always, Kieran knew exactly what buttons to push to have her writhing under him.

“Don’t fight it, Lily.” His voice was low, cajoling. As if he could sense she wasn’t going to give in without him, Kieran tipped her hips and thrust into her with abandon, hitting the spot inside her he seemed to have memorized.

Lily tried to hold back the welling pleasure but was helpless against Kieran’s relentless onslaught. Her body tightened around his, and Lily could feel the tension in him ramping up. He was fighting hard not to climax before she did.

Lily bucked under him, doing her utmost to get him to come.

This was the only other alternative they could come up with besides abstaining, something neither of them seemed capable of doing.

Lily closed her hand around him and pumped until, trembling with the aftershocks, he collapsed at her side.

It was a long while before they could get themselves to move. And that was only to the shower, where they’d whipped each other up into a frothy frenzy.

They were wrapped in the only two towels she had when his stomach rumbled.

Lily patted it lovingly even while she enjoyed the feel of hard muscle. “I guess it’s time we had some food, huh?”

“Sounds great to me.” He nodded as he looked around. “I guess I’d better get some clothes.”

She watched with a grin on her face as, clad only in the small towel, he dashed from the room. He returned moments later with his things.

“You could have gotten dressed in your own room, you know,” she teased.

“Where’s the fun in that?” He let the towel drop, and Lily found she had to really focus on his words, though her attention stayed riveted to his groin.

Where indeed.

“But if we’re going to get out of here before we starve, we should really get dressed.” Not that common sense was anywhere in her mind at the moment.

When her stomach growled, he sighed exaggeratedly. “Fine, food first. Then naked fun times.”

Lily couldn’t stop the bubble of laughter as she searched for something to wear.

After staying out of arm’s reach to get dressed, they emerged from her room to find that the rest of the station was cold and silent.

Eerily so.

Kieran looked around before dropping his gaze to meet hers. “If we were in an eighties horror movie, I’d be getting pretty worried right about now.”

“It’s not too unusual for this time of year. Most of the researchers are gone for a few months.” Even as she said it, Lily searched for any sign of life. Even with most people gone there was always someone milling around. Maintenance staff. Stragglers like herself. And where the hell was Jeremy? She was surprised he hadn’t been waiting for her, to pounce and find out how things went with Kieran.

“I think I might have an idea what’s going on.” Kieran pointed to the window.

Lily walked over to find it almost completely obscured by snow.

A tiny bit near the top was clear, but there was no chance for her to see through it. “Can you see anything?”

He stretched up to look. “Snow? I’m guessing that everyone else is smart enough to stay in bed.”

Lily couldn’t hide her delight as she looked up at Kieran. “I guess you’re stuck here for the next few days.”

Kieran wound a strong arm around her shoulders. “Hmmm. How will we ever pass the time?”

Dragging him toward the cafeteria, Lily stuck her tongue out at him. “Feed me first. Then we’ll figure out the details.”

He grinned. “Whatever you want.”
