Unforeseen by M.C. Decker (24)

Cassidy

AFTER SPENDING JUST one night in the hospital, I was ready to sleep in my own bed, under my own plush, down comforter. Blake never left my side since he’d arrived the day before. I had to practically beg him to go get something to eat. I think the only reason he’d finally agreed is because I convinced him I needed something other than nasty hospital food.

Rich and Brooke had taken the kids back to their place shortly after Blake had arrived. They’d even agreed to keep them an extra night to give us a bit more privacy at home. I wasn’t sure what I’d have to owe them for the favor, but at that point, I didn’t really care.

“I think I’m going to go take a shower. Do you want to join me?” I asked, walking into the house.

“As much as I love the sound of that, I really don’t think that’s a good idea. You’re supposed to take it easy, remember,” he reminded me.

“But, don’t you remember how much fun it was the last time I was your patient,” I pouted.

Groaning, he readjusted his cock, before answering. “Yeah, I’ll never forget, but this is a little more serious, Cass. You have a head injury. We’re not taking any chances. Got it,” he instructed.

“Fine,” I sighed. “Will you at least come and cuddle with me once I’m done? I just want to lie in my own bed.”

“Now that sounds perfect,” he said, placing his hands on each side of my face and kissing the top of my head, before I retreated into the bathroom.

After washing the hospital scent off my skin, I dried off and wrapped myself tightly in the towel before returning to the bedroom. Reclining on the bed, I propped myself up with several pillows.

“I called the doctor, he said light activity should be fine,” I said, as Blake entered the bedroom.

“You just called the doctor now?” he asked, suspiciously.

“Mmmhmm,” I responded seductively, playing with the knot which secured my towel.

“Doesn’t matter, I don’t think sex qualifies as ‘light activity,’” he said, raising a brow.

“I specifically asked,” I smirked.

“You did not call the doctor to ask if sex was an approved activity.”

“I did, too! Call him and ask for yourself if you don’t believe me!” I said, handing over my phone.

“I don’t believe you, and I’m not going to call your doctor and ask him if I can fuck you tonight. That would just make me look like a douchebag,” he said.

“Please, you don’t have to fuck my brains out, or bang my head against any walls, just nice and slow?” I nearly begged, letting the towel fall open, my knees slightly open. “My pussy misses you.”

Blake’s jaw nearly hit the ground when he saw I wasn’t wearing anything under the towel. “Fuck me,” he hissed. “Carpenter, you aren’t playing fair.”

“You know what they say–all’s fair in love and war, Mitchell.”

“You always get your way, don’t you?” he said, desire burning in his dark eyes.

“I don’t know. Take your clothes off and find out,” I teased. Without having to ask him twice, Blake ripped his T-shirt over his head in a single motion. His “V” taunting me as he slowly unzipped his jeans. Stepping out of his jeans and boxer briefs, he kneeled on the edge of the bed, his fully-erect cock already glistening with precum.

“Let me suck it,” I nearly begged.

“Not tonight. As much as I’d love nothing more than to fuck your dirty, little mouth, I definitely don’t think that’s on your list of approved activities,” he said, in a husky voice.

“No? Then why don’t you show me what is approved,” I suggested, motioning for him to come closer.

Pulling me down the bed closer to him, Blake didn’t waste any time, using his rough hands to spread my legs further apart. Blake hovered over my core for a moment, his warm breath tickling my thighs.

“Please, Blake,” I begged.

After teasing me for a few seconds longer, he brought his mouth to my lips parting my pussy with a flick of the tongue.

“Fuck, I’ve missed you,” he growled, as he began sucking on my clit. Just when I thought I couldn’t endure any more pressure, Blake plunged two fingers into my pulsating center.

“Not yet,” he instructed, removing his mouth from my clit, as he scooted up higher on the bed.

“Do you want a taste?” he asked, offering me his soaked fingers.

“Mmmhmm,” I moaned, not taking my eyes of him.

Gently inserting a finger in my mouth, I sucked it like I would’ve sucked his dick, making sure to pay close attention to the tip as I slowly swirled my tongue around it, lapping up my juices.

“You think you’re cute, huh? I know what you’re trying to do, Carpenter. I think you need to be punished,” he said, as I felt the tip of his cock at my entrance.

“Fuck, please punish me then,” I said, unable to withstand the tension building in my core.

Moaning at his sudden entrance, Blake began rocking his hips, filling me deeply with each thrust. I moved with him in complete synchronization. We knew every intimate detail of each other’s bodies. Knowing what I needed to come undone, Blake brought his fingers to my clit and began rubbing them in a circular motion, causing friction to build between us.

“Fuck. Me.” I mewled as an orgasm rippled through my body.

Blake pumped into me a few more times as my pussy clenched around his hardened length. He let out a guttural moan as he let out his own release. Coming down from our orgasmic high, he held me for a few minutes before either of us said a word.

“Mmmm, I’m glad I convinced you to do that,” I said, already half-asleep. “I think I like you here in my bed.”

“Yeah? I’m glad because that’s something I’d like to talk to you about,” he confessed. “I’d like to try this the right way–the way it should’ve been since the beginning. I know after these last two weeks that I can’t live without you in my life.”

“Yeah? What are you saying?” I questioned.

“I want to be with you, Cass. The kids and I are moving here to be with you and Kaity.”

“What? When?” I asked. “What about your new position?”

“I resigned on my way out. Rich said the position here is still mine if I want it. I’ll be here for good within the month. Honestly, if it weren’t for my things, I’d never go back to D.C.,” he said, matter-of-factly.

“Wow, really?” I said. “I hoped we’d be together eventually, but I didn’t think it’d be this soon.”

He paused for a moment, obviously surprised by my response. “Do you not want me–my kids–here? Do you not want us to be a family?”

I did want that. In fact, before everything happened with Steve and then my accident, I wanted to tell him the exact same thing. Why was I questioning everything all over again? Blake wasn’t Steve. I had to stop comparing him to the douche who left me alone and pregnant. Blake wanted me and my daughter. He wanted us all to be a family.

I took a deep breath, knowing I had to be vulnerable and tell him how I felt. “I do want you here, Blake. I want you all here. I hope that someday we will all be a family. I’m just scared,” I confessed, hoping he’d understand without having to further explain.

“I’m scared, too, Cass. I’ve only ever loved one other woman, but because of that I know what love should be like, and I know I love you. I’m ready to see where this goes. I’ve put some feelers out about a place. I think it’d be best to live apart for a while anyways. I want to get the kids used to the idea of us as a family before we throw them all together in one house. I hope you agree.”

Wow, he was definitely very serious. “Yes, I think that’s best, too,” I agreed.

“Good, I’m glad it’s settled then. Now, we should get some rest. You’ve had a long day,” he said, kissing me on the tip of my nose before pulling me into his side.
