Wayward Deviance (Wayward Saints MC Book 8) by K. Renee (2)

Chapter Two

Brynn

Every time Bentley Davoli walks into the same room as me I get the chills and my body is instantly drawn to him. He does crazy things to me, and I can't seem to get my mind and body in check.

During my first week on the job, Anslie told me to stay away from him, but I want to learn more about him. He seems so dark and lonely. Maybe he just needs someone.

Over the years, I've heard the whispers on the street about him and his family. People say that the Wayward Saints motorcycle club is just a bunch of lowlifes and killers, although it should scare me, it intrigues me. Bentley intrigues me.

The way his messy dark hair is styled in the weirdest fashion, the dark blue eyes that pierce through me when he looks at me, the way his jeans fit him just right, and my God, those arms. Gah! I sound so stupid. I'm pining over a guy who sleeps with more women than I can count.

Shaking my head, I focus on the boys, and the youngest is trying to pull a chunk of my hair out. Gently I pull it out of his chubby fingers and wait for Bentley to come back inside. I can hear him raising his voice at her, but I can't really make out what he's saying. I turn to check on the twins who are playing at my desk, and they looked unaffected by their uncle's outburst a few minutes ago.

The door swings open and shuts in the blink of an eye. Before I know it, Bentley is right behind me. I can feel his body heat, and I want to melt into his strong embrace. His breath tickles my neck, and it takes everything in me not to turn around.

He steps closer so that we are now touching. I feel the tips of his fingers run down my sides.

He says he's a bad guy, but I don't believe that. I think that everyone should have someone to fight for. I want him to be my reason to fight.

"Sorry for her," he whispers in my ear. The feeling of his breath along my neck causes my panties to burst into flames. My God. His husky voice goes straight to my core, and my breath comes out choppy.

"It's not your fault," I say quietly. He pulls our bodies closer, and I can't think of one comprehensive thought. My body breaks out in chills, and I can feel a blush heat my cheeks. "God, what I want to fucking do to you," he mutters.

Before I know it, he's backing away from me and telling the twins that they need to get ready to go. Kissing me on the cheek, he lingers just for a second before pulling away and shaking his head. "I'll see you tomorrow Brynn," he says as he takes Braxton from me.

Taking a deep breath, I watch him walk out of the office with the boys. Grabbing the stack of papers from my desk I fan myself. God, he makes me so freaking hot that I don't know what to do.

Once I finally calm down enough, I sit back down at my desk and go through the paperwork for the week.

These guys and their paperwork are going to be the death of me. Every receipt doesn't match up with their material logs and the time sheets don't match either.

At twelve-thirty, I see Coley coming toward the door. I have heard a little about her, but still haven't officially met her. When she walks in, I get a good look at her. She's beautiful and has a country vibe about her. Her long blonde hair is amazing and makes me jealous. Hers is long and flowy, where mine is white and messy looking.

"Hi," she says with a huge smile. I see the ring on her finger, and I can't help but feel a little jealous of her. Anslie had told me that her oldest brother got married without the family there and how pissed everyone was that they didn’t get to go.

"Hi, Coley right?" I ask with a smile. I love meeting the ol' ladies. So far they have been the best part of the Wayward Saints.

"Yes, that's me. Sorry, I don't know your name," she says with a frown.

"I'm Brynn."

I see Dominic walking towards the office with his little boy, and I can't help but smile. They are spitting images of each other, and I love watching these big bikers and their kids.

"It's very nice to meet you, Brynn. How long have you worked here?" she asks.

Smiling, I tell her a few months and just as she is about to say something else, I see the door open, and Dominic come walking in with Axle.

"Momma," Axle giggles. I watch Dominic pull Coley into him and kiss her neck.

"Hey, baby boy. Can you say hi to Brynn?" He looks over at me for a second before he waves his chubby little hand at me.

"Hi Axle," I say smiling. "Hi, Dominic."

"Hey Brynn, have you see Bentley?" he asks looking through the door at the shop.

"Yeah, he just took the twins and Braxton home. He's babysitting for your sister."

Dominic starts to laugh. "Oh shit. That should be good." He pulls Coley closer. "Babe, maybe we can drop Axle off with him too." An evil grin spreads across his face and he turns to walk back outside with Axle.

"Sorry about him," Coley says with a smile. It's adorable to see the way she looks at him.

"No worries. I'm getting used to these guys. They are one of a kind," I giggle. She smiles and nods her head.

"It was great to meet you. I hope to see you around again." Coley smiles softly.

"You too," I reply, watching her walk out the door and over to where Dominic is standing talking to Cason. I watch Cason wrap her up in a hug and then they go back to talking.

Going back to work, I am able to finish all the paperwork for Dominic and Brantley's jobs. By the time five o'clock rolls around, my head is killing me, and all I want to do is go home, take a hot bath and drink a glass of wine.

Once I lock up the office, I go to the bar and tell one of the prospects that I'm leaving. I'm not exactly sure why Dominic wants me to do it, but he does. When he hired me, he gave me only a few rules and telling someone I was leaving every night is one of them. Walking to my car, I can feel eyes on me, but I don't even bother turning around.

I knew he was here. I heard him an hour ago in the shop talking to one of the guys, but he never came back in the office.

When I get to my car, I look over to the bar doors and see Bentley standing there with a cigarette hanging from his lips. He winks at me and turns to walk inside. Getting into my car, I hear my phone beep. Checking it, I see a message from my sister, Tessa.

Tessa: Come out with me! Please sister!

Well, there goes my night of relaxing. I sigh, thinking of excuses I can use, but I can't come up with anything believable.

Me: Okay fine. I'll be at your house at 9.

Tessa: Yes!!! Love you. See you then!

Me: Love you too

Throwing my phone back in my bag, I take off toward my apartment to shower and get ready.

---

By the time I get to my sister's place, she has already had a few shots and is ready to party.

"Let's get fucking trashed!" she yells when she sees me.

Running over to me as fast as she can in the heels she's wearing, she throws her arms around my neck and almost knocks us both over.

"Shit Tess," I say trying to hold us both up. She starts to giggle, and I can tell it's already going to be a long night. Luckily, it's Friday night, and the shop doesn't open until ten on Saturdays.

After a few more drinks for my sister, we call a cab and go to a little dance club a few miles from the Strip. Growing up in Vegas, I was never really a fan of the Strip and all the attractions. Hell, I still don't really care for them, but I love my sister and would do anything she wanted.

We get into the club without having to wait in line, and Tessa goes straight to the bar dragging me behind her.

"We want shots!" she yells as the bartender comes over to us. Shaking my head, I just watch her and try to keep her from falling. After a few rounds of shots, we make our way over to the dance floor.

Trying to erase all the tension from my body, I sway my hips to the music. Closing my eyes, I lift my arms up and just feel the music. Finally letting go of all my stress and crazy thoughts about Bentley, I just dance.

After a couple songs, I feel his eyes on me. I know he's here and I want to see if I can get a reaction.

A pair of hands grips my hips and pulls me into an erection. He starts to roam his hands over my stomach and up to my chest. I dance with him for a few songs to hopefully make Bentley jealous, but my plan backfires. I try to push the guy’s hands off of me, but he just tightens his grip on me.

Starting to panic, I hear him whisper in my ear. "Bitches always think they can dance like a whore and not be treated like one."

My blood goes cold, and I try to pull away from him. "Don't," he growls in my ear.

My skin pricks and I know something bad is about to happen. A few seconds later, I'm being pulled into a chest. Looking up, I see his deep blue eyes and they look like they are closer to black than I've ever seen before.

"Fuck off, asshole," the guy says trying to grab my hand, but he doesn’t get a good enough grip on me. Bentley pulls me behind him and gets right in the guy’s face.

"You fucking touch her again, and I'll put you in the ground," he hisses at the guy. The guy gets up in his face and pushes Bentley. Bentley swings his fist right at the guy, knocking him to the ground with little effort. He leans down and whispers something in the guy's ear.

The man pales and looks up at Bentley, finally seeing who he is.
