Hitched: A Stepbrother Honeymoon Romance by Michaela Scott (3)

Chapter 5: Travis

Before I’m even fully awake, I feel a girl in bed with me. And not just any girl…

A total fucking babe. I can tell by the curves pressed up against my body that whoever ended up in my bed is a serious knockout, and I’m definitely going to have to fuck her brains out again the second she wakes up. I may not remember this girl, but once I’m done with her, she’s never going to fucking forget me.

But the next thing I know, someone’s screaming. I open my eyes and get a serious fucking shock when I see Laney, my stepsister, standing at the foot of my bed in her underwear.

And that’s when yesterday’s events, up to a certain point, come flooding back into my mind. She was at the cocktail party. I took her into the casino. We got drunk, and then, I guess…

“We got married!”

“What the fuck?”

“Look!”

Laney shows me her right hand, which is sporting a seriously expensive diamond ring on it.

I’m quiet for a few seconds, looking at the ring, and then at Laney, and then back at the ring again. Then, I totally burst out laughing.

“Travis!”

“Holy shit, Laney, if you liked me that much, you could have just asked me out.”

Laney tries to give me a look of death, but it just ends up being totally adorable. Especially with her standing there in nothing but her bra and panties. Honestly, it’s a good thing I’m under a blanket, because I’m hard as a fucking rock right now. Hey, maybe I should pull it off. Maybe if Laney sees what her new husband’s packing, she’ll change her mind about this whole marriage thing. Maybe she’d even come back to bed…

“Travis, this is serious! If Dad and Nina find out, they’ll kill us! I’ll probably get fired, and then I’ll be stuck living with Nina for who knows how long!”

Something clicks in Laney’s eyes, and she cocks her head to the side.

“Wait. I think that’s why we got married. It was going to help me move out somehow. We did it to win some kind of contest.”

I don’t remember shit once we got to the casino, but that sounds right. That doesn’t make it any less hilarious, though. And it doesn’t explain how we ended up in bed together, stripped down to our underwear. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t part of the contest.

“Maybe, but I’m pretty sure this,” I gesture towards Laney’s body, “wasn’t part of the contest.”

Laney bites her lip, shifting from foot to foot as she notices me starting at her tits. God, I can’t believe that I fucked her and I don’t even remember it. Actually, hold on a second.

I fish my wallet out of my jean pocket and go through it. “All my condoms are still here.” I lean over the side of the bed. “Nothing in the trash can. I don’t think we fucked.”

Laney’s eyes get as big as moons when I say the F-word. God, if she’s not careful, I’m going to turn back to the old me around her. The me that was dying to see her in her underwear like this…

“Well, what if we…”

I shake my head. “No way. I never do that, not even when I’m drunk. There would be way too many little Travises running around if I did. Besides, you’re not sore, are you?”

Laney stretches her legs and thrusts her hips out, testing for soreness, and my cock practically explodes. She shakes her head, and I grin.

“Okay, then we definitely didn’t fuck, because if we did, I guarantee you would be so sore, you wouldn’t be able to get out of bed, and you probably wouldn’t fucking want to.”

Laney buries her face in her hands. “What does it matter? My life is over.”

I shrug. “No it’s not. Trust me, as funny as this shit is, I don’t think it’s a big deal. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to marry drunk people in Vegas, and if there actually was a contest, then that’s definitely illegal. Our marriage license wouldn’t hold up in court even if we wanted it to.”

Laney fidgets with the ring on her finger and takes a deep breath. “Okay. If you’re right…maybe it’s not the end of the world as long as nobody finds out. I think I’m going to…take a shower. Where’s my dress?”

“I think I’m lying on it. Hold on.”

I sit up in bed, and Laney’s breath starts to come faster as the blanket falls off my upper body. God, she’d better stop acting like that, or else I’m going to start getting tempted to pull her back into bed and consummate our marriage. “Here it is.”

I toss Laney her dress, and she hugs it to her body, suddenly self-conscious about being in front of me in nothing but her bra and panties.

“Alright. Everything’s going to be okay.” Laney turns and walks into the bathroom, giving me an amazing view of her curvy ass as she leaves. Then, the door closes, the shower turns on, and I’m lying in bed, having a hard time thinking about anything other than my stepsister’s naked body under all that water.

Fuck, man. Just when I thought I’d finally gotten over her, that she was right and nothing could ever happen between us, this shit happens. She tells me that we can’t be together, and then she marries me, strips down to her underwear, and crawls into bed with me. If that’s not a mixed signal, I don’t know what fucking is.

All I know is, all those feelings I tried to suppress from the days we were living together, the ones that kept me up at night and pounded in my head when I was trying to get with other girls…they’re all back. With a vengeance. And the girl whose body heat is still warming the bed beside me is going to have a hell of a time convincing me that they’re not real now.
