Vax turned and walked on, I followed. “Who attacked earth? Why would someone do such a thing?”

“I will answer all your questions in due time, I promise, but for now please follow me. All that is important is that you are safe. The area you were in has been completely destroyed by fire. It’s a good thing I got to you when I did.”

I turn my heads at the words. Destroyed? It seems that shutting off the pumps would have been little help for Al’s garage. I think of his last call to me and find it odd.
