Alien's Mate: A Sci Fi Alien Romance (Abducted Brides Book 1) by Harper Star (9)

Nine

When I come to I expect to find myself alone on one of those polished tables in the medica-port. As my eyes flutter open I’m surprised to find I’m lying on a bed of soft fabrics which are pleasant to the touch. The world is an out of focus blur for the first few seconds. I blink against it and sit up on the bed, realizing that I’m back in Vax’s boudoir. A deep voice lifts to my right and I turn to see Vax sitting in a chair by the bed.

“Vax!” I say, somewhat surprised to see him. “You’re here…”

“Of course. I didn’t want you to wake alone and feel frightened again.” He puts down a tablet of some sort and smiles at me, taking a seat on the bed besides me. My heart melts for a moment. He actually listened to me earlier. Was it possible this big oaf was capable of being kind? He places his large hand against my forehead and frowns. “Your temperature is a little high, but you seem to be much better. How are you feeling?”

I look down at myself and realize I’m only wearing underwear and a loose vest. The last thing I remember is blacking out after we crashed in the cargo bay. I knew for certain I had broken bones after the crash, but now I feel right as rain. “I feel great actually.” I turn my hands over and look at them intensely, feeling my skin for cuts and breaks that I know should be there. “We weren’t hurt?”

“Oh, you were hurt rather badly. The bike gave out just as we reached the atmospheric limit and I couldn’t slow down. Luckily for us we made it into the ship. The landing could have been a little better though.”

My eyes rake down to his chest. Vax’s tangle with the bear back in the jungle had left him with three deep cuts across those broad pecs. They’re smooth as ever now. “You were hurt too though, right?”

He looks down at his chest. “I had some minor scratches, I wasn’t hurt in the crash, not as bad as you were anyway. We are privileged to have access to a Riga healer. Phasma worked wonders on us both.”

I’ll say. I sit up all the way in the bed, stretching my arms and legs out to test them. I might even feel better than I did before we touched down in the jungle. The events of the rescue flicker back before my eyes and I find myself filled with a dozen questions.

“What happened back there?” I say. “Why could I jump and fight so easily? I’ve never been that agile before now.”

Vax nods. “I’m ashamed to admit that Argonians aren’t as adept at medicine as the Riga. The stasis shot Monroe gave you didn’t work as we intended. It’s supposed to subdue your hyper-sensitivity, but instead it rerouted it. You were put into a life and death situation when we were attacked. The stasis shot was supposed to flush your system of the Aquigen, but instead it was routed to the part of your brain that handles life and death situations.”

“Isn’t that dangerous?”

“No. It’s completely benign. Well. Apart from your newfound skills. That is now a permanent fixture of your biological makeup.”

Go for a shot to remove my hyper-libido and walk out a super soldier? Talk about a good botch job. Now that I think about it my libido really didn’t go anyway when we were out in the jungle, and all I wanted to do while I was with Vax was to jump his bones. All those feelings coming back to me now and I start to feel hot. There’s something about surviving a life and death situation together that really gets me going.

“You’ve done so much for me…” I say and rest my hand on his leg. “Isn’t there anything I can do to repay you?”

Darkness flushes in those blue eyes and his chest rises with a long breath. He puts his hand on mine and places it onto the bed. “Careful Piper. You were lucky you weren’t hurt last time. There’s not much I can do to stop myself when I shift into my mating form. Every part of our research indicates that sexual integration should be slow to ensure fertility.”

“But how can I resist your bones when you keep dropping poetry like that?” I joke. He shoots me a quizzical look and I dismiss it, shuffling over to be closer to him. “Can’t we just forget about all that stuff?” I say. “We shot our way off a planet of bug men together. Surely we deserve a… break?” I drag my finger down his broad chest, stopping just above his naval. His skin flushes dark black at the spot and he grabs my hand.

“Stop.”

The words come from his voice as a command that is low and final. They vibrate around my neck. My whole-body freezes and I realize that he is using the Obedion collar to control me. He stands up from the bed and looks down at me. “Let me go you son of a bitch! Don’t use that thing on me!”

“You’ll do well to remember that you’re my sexual property, Piper. I control you, and whatever I say goes.”

I try to struggle against the magnetic force of the Obedion, but the strange alien tech is simply too powerful to disobey. I laugh in irritation and grind my teeth. “What kind of sexual property am I, you won’t even fuck me!”

“Stop that,” he commands. His blue skin is bruising dark blue. “Don’t make me take away your voice.”

“What’s the matter, daddy? Can’t control yourself around your sexy little prisoner? Just fuck me already!”

“Silence!” he roars the words and the collar buzzes around my throat for a few seconds. My mouth clamps shut. He paces away from the bed in a broad circle, attempting to cool his breath as he does so. “You don’t understand Piper. When I shift into my mating form I lose all control. You’re lucky I managed to hold back the full transformation last time. We have to work to it slowly. Too much too soon and it could kill you, I’m not kidding.”

I feel the silencing power disappear, and my voice comes back to me. My jaw drops. “So what happened last time… when you grew size and changed black… that wasn’t even your full form?”

He shakes his head. “I was halfway there. Luckily, I stopped it. I’m not sure I can do that again. Argonians are head strong creatures, Piper. I have the mind of a warrior and the mind of a mating beast. Once the mating side takes full control I can’t stop it. We spent years monitoring earth because we’ve made grave mistakes when we first found humanity… we were excited. We were keen to mate our destined women. People were hurt Piper. It wasn’t a good time.”

“That’s why you waited all those years before making first contact,” I say and find my mind tracing back to the fuel pumps. “You said you answered a distress call, what was that about?”

“After our first mistakes we decided it was best to monitor our subjects from afar to be safe. All subjects were placed in safe areas on earth, so they could be evacuated at a moment’s notice if necessary. We wanted subjects to have the luxury of freedom while being safe and under our supervision.”

“So, Al the gas station owner…”

“He wasn’t actually a gas station owner,” Vax says with a laugh. “He was a human representative of a space program set up in secret between earth and Argonia.”

I sit there in shock. I guess that technically made Al a ‘man in black’. “I have to say that kind of makes sense. Al always seemed too smart to be a gas station owner, and there’s no way in hell I would have got that job under normal circumstances. I was awful. You waited all these years to observe us then? To make sure the next time things went better?”

He nods. “That’s right. After the first mistake, Raka deemed that we have to carry out a period of intensive research. We learned a lot in those two years. Ideally, we would have had more, but then the Horkax invasion happened, and our hands were forced. There is a process we have to follow. It gets your body ready for me. It warms you up to my final size.”

I can only gawp. Final size? Is that to say our last romp was just a taste of things to come? I must admit that Vax’s momentous size was definitely bigger than anything I’d ever known. If I’m being completely honest it was the best fuck I’ve ever had. The idea that he gets bigger sets my pussy on fire with excitement.

“Fine.” I drop my hands onto the bed and let out a small huff. “Do your process then. Whatever that is. What does that mean, anyway?” I have to admit I have no idea, but it sounds dreadfully dull. Whoever referred to sex as a process? The mental image of a lab appears, along with meter rulers and endless questionnaires about my sexual habits. Is that what I had to do to get the alien to bed me? My heart sinks even further at the thought. Argonians were perhaps physically perfect, and they’d somehow found a way to mess all that up by turning sex into a box ticking exercise.

“I’m glad you ask actually,” he says. “Because I was going to show you. I wanted to make sure you were fully recovered before I asked. It seems like you’re okay so… follow me.”

A gentle buzz comes at my Obedion collar and my body rises from the bed to the floor. It feels strange letting him take full control like this, but I have to admit I kind of like it. I follow him across the bedroom and through a door that leads into a large bathroom. There are candles, a massage table of some sort, shelves that are full of bottles of all sizes. A large tiled bath of hot smoking water lays in wait. I look over at Vax and raise a brow. “What’s this?”

“The first step in the process is a complete relaxation of the human mate,” he speaks as if reading from rote. “I massage your body from head to toe and then bring you to your first bonding orgasm. If I perform the process right it will elicit a change in both of our bodies that brings us closer together.”

It’s all crazy gibberish to me, but there’s one word in his last sentence that my whole attention is hanging onto. Orgasm. Yes please. I nod my head quickly to show that I’m game. “What do we do then?”

Delight fills those sparkling blues. He turns to face me and steps close, towering above me as a mountain of muscle and sex. Thick arms wrap me in a warm embrace. Soft lips kiss my throat. He guides a hand up between my legs and presses his thick finger against my dampening panties.

“The first step is to strip naked and bathe you my dear,” he says with a whisper that sends shivers down my skin. His finger rubs small circles against my sex and I let out a low whimper, chewing my bottom lip to keep myself silent. I look up into those eyes and melt. All I want to do is kiss him.

“I can control myself as long as you don’t touch,” Vax warns. “Do you promise to do whatever I say?”

I nod again, probably looking like the most desperate girl in the world. “I promise.”

A dark grin tugs at those full lips and my breath is positively shaking. “Very good. Now… strip.”
