Auctioned on Valentine's Day: A Second Chance Stepbrother Romance by Amy Brent, Candy Gray (6)

CHAPTER SIX

Emery

I woke up in the night, blinking as I looked around. My body was sore in the best way possible and I felt the sheet brush against my raw nipple as I turned to my back and gazed at the ceiling. It was bright from the moon in here and I was wrapped in Sebastian’s arms. I looked at him, seeing his face slack with sleep as I licked my lips.

He was amazing in bed but more than that, I was attracted to him in every way possible. He was gorgeous, yes. He seemed to be caring towards me and I wondered if he wasn’t the playboy that I’d originally taken him for.

He spent seventy fucking thousand dollars for me. I told myself that most it went to charity and that it wasn’t all about me. I didn’t need to be the best woman in bed for him ever in the world, particularly as a virgin. He knew what he was getting into and I assumed that it was safe to say he was worth a lot of money and wouldn’t miss that. I couldn’t imagine such a thing.

I sighed softly and closed my eyes, tired but too consumed with thoughts to sleep. I liked being here with him, in is bed and in his arms. That didn’t matter since this was just an auction. It was one night that was bought and paid for as well as complete. Where could we go from here?

I told myself to go back to sleep. I’d wake up with Sebastian and we’d have sex again. If I was lucky, I might have coffee with him. That was all I could expect, and coffee was pushing it. He had to have some place to go. I hoped that Sebastian wasn’t in a relationship with what we’d just done but there was that chance. My ex cheated on me all the time and I knew that any man was capable of it. I didn’t need to care in this case. I turned over to face the wall and sighed slowly. Sebastian shifted behind me and I felt him pull me close to his heat as I smiled.

Stupid auction and Mollie for suggesting it. It was supposed to make my life a little easier and here I was stressed out over it.

I woke up the next time with sun streaming into the room. I turned over to look around, seeing how luxurious it was in the light. Sebastian had money and last night probably didn’t hurt him too much. I listened to determine where he was, never believing that Sebastian would leave me here on my own. I stretched out across the soft sheets and inhaled his scent for a long moment as I closed my eyes.

I heard a chuckle and glanced up to see Sebastian in the doorway with a grin on his face.

“You look absolutely edible in my bed like that.” He strolled towards me, his body only clothed in some work out shorts that were low on his hips. He looked stunning, and I pulled the sheet around my body as I slipped down over the pillows. Sebastian smiled and crawled onto the bed, his skin glistening as I looked him over.

“Thank you. You look… good.” I stumbled over my words as he smirked at me. I wasn’t normally into this much confidence, but Sebastian wore it well. He eased the covers from my body as I struggled to hold on, raising an eyebrow at me.

“Don’t you want another round?” Sebastian asked me huskily as I blushed. I loosened my grip, and he bared me with a hungry gaze. There was no hiding the flaws in the sunlight and I nibbled my lip. Sebastian crawled towards me as I froze, watching as he spread my thighs open. His eyes raked over my, wet for him with the small actions. He slipped a finger between my legs, stroking me as I let out a whimper. “You’re ready. I can slide easily into that pussy right now, but I am going to play a bit first.” He slipped off the shorts, making me wetter.

“Play?” I asked as he moved his mouth down to lick my eager folds. I dropped my head back and moaned as my clit ached for the attention. Sebastian was so good. I knew that he’d slept with a lot of women from his skills and tried to push that thought out of my mind. “Sebastian.”

He licked and sucked, teasing me for a few moments until I begged him to find my clit. His tongue was amazing, and that’s where I needed him, wanted him. He chuckled, sending the vibration to every nerve ending in my body as I reached down to grip his hair. He started with soft licks against my sensitive nub before sucking it between his lips, then his teeth. “Oh, God.” I jerked as my body decided how much it enjoyed this, coming hard as he sucked harder. Sebastian kept it going with strokes of his tongue, sucking my juices out of me as I hissed.

Sebastian pulled away, his mouth glistening with me all over him. He moved to the drawer and took out a condom, slowly looking up at me.

“Are you too sore for this?” He asked me as I shook my head. I seriously doubted that I’d ever have it this good again. I could ignore any discomfort. He ripped it open and slipped the latex over his thick cock as I stared at him. He eyed me for a moment as if he was trying to decide something, crawling over me as he leaned in for a kiss. “I need to see you when I fuck you.”

He entered me then, making me cry out as I arched into him. No matter how sore my body was feeling right now, it needed him. Sebastian grinned against my lips as he moved back inside of me harder. I gripped his hair with one hand and his tight ass with the other, rocking with him.

“Fuck, Emery,” he groaned as he took me harder. “You feel so good.”

“Yes,” I moaned as he nipped at my neck. “God, Sebastian.” I came for him just before he jerked and released inside of me. He thrust his cock deep into me as I yelled his name, memorizing the feeling of our bodies locked together.

Eventually, he pulled back and dropped onto the bed, staring at the ceiling. I relaxed beside him, wanting something to drink but too afraid to ask.

“Do you want some breakfast?” Sebastian asked me, looking over at me.

“Sure. Sounds good.” I smiled as he stood and grabbed the shorts before walking over to the bathroom. I looked around, realizing that my clothes were scattered everywhere. I didn’t want to walk around the house naked to get them and I frowned. Sebastian walked back into the room dressed and shot me a curious look. “Do you have a shirt I can wear?”

He grinned and walked to his closet, looking the shelves over until he pulled something black off. He grabbed something else and brought it to me, dropping it onto the bed.

“Go ahead and take a shower if you need one. I’m going to start cooking.” He smiled and left the room as I breathed deeply a few times. I slowly moved from the comfortable bed and dressed in the shirt and boxers before walking into the bathroom. It was massive, and I looked around for a second. I glanced at the shower that could easily hold three people, noting that it had everything in there that I’d need. There were towels draped over rack on the wall and I closed the door. The luxurious shower was too beautiful to resist.

I finished and dried my hair and body, running my fingers through the wet strands. This would have to do until I got home. I’d put the dress back on to leave. I braided my hair over my shoulder and slipped the band that was around my wrist over the end. I folded the towels up and placed them on the counter and checked my appearance in the mirror.

Compared to last night, I looked plain. It wasn’t like her hadn’t seen me naked and coming for him. I walked out of the bathroom and down the hall where I heard the clatter of pans. The smell of coffee filled the air, and I breathed it in. I looked over to the row of windows, blushing as I thought back to last night. I noted that my dress was crumpled on the floor and blushed, knowing how much I’d spent on it.

I kept walking to the kitchen where Sebastian was cooking some bacon. He was still wearing the shorts and had a cup of coffee on the granite counter beside him. I watched for a moment, loving how well he took care of himself. He glanced over, and I straightened up quickly.

“Hi.” I said and shuffled in as he asked me if I wanted coffee. I nodded and walked over to get a cup from the modern white cupboards, letting him cook. I poured a cup and checked the fridge for some creamer, finding some whipping cream. I added that to my cup and gave it a quick stir before taking a grateful sip. “Thank you.”

“You like coffee?” He asked as I nodded.

“I can’t live without it,” I admitted as he nodded. I looked at the pan with the bacon and the eggs already scrambled in a bowl, smiling. “Need help with anything?”

“There’s some bread on the counter by the toaster if you want to get that started,” he told me with an easy smile as I nodded. This was surreal. It was both my first morning with any man and my first one after having sex for the first time. I didn’t know how to act but he seemed fine with this. I pulled out thick slices of sourdough bread and dropped them into the four slots of the toaster, pushing the lever down.

I returned to my coffee cup and took another sip, gazing over at the windows. This was an amazing place, and I wondered what it must be like to wake up with the view every day. There was a part of me that was sad about leaving New York.

Sebastian finished breakfast, and I popped slices of buttered bread onto the plates. We took them to the table with our coffee and I looked outside again.

“This is an amazing view, day and night.” He looked at me for a long moment and I blushed, knowing what he was thinking about.

“It was the best view last night.” I widened my eyes and looked at the plate, letting the embarrassment wash over me. “What are your plans for the day?”

“I don’t know.” I didn’t have any idea, and I wasn’t sure if this should continue. He caught my tone and looked at me with a nod. Sebastian made small talk for the rest of the meal and I helped him clean up before I went to retrieve my dress from the floor. I knew that this fantasy needed to end now even though the idea made me feel a bit lonely. I took it to the bathroom to change back into it, slipping the bra on but tossing the torn underwear. I didn’t remember that happening last night.

When I walked back into the living room, Sebastian was typing something on his phone before looking up.

“Thank you,” I told him, unsure of what to say. It was too complex.

“I think I should be the one thanking you,” he murmured, stepping closer to me as I watched. “You were fantastic, Emery.”

“So were you,” I replied as he brushed his lips against mine. My body reacted strongly, and I knew that I’d let him have me again if I stayed here. He kissed me harder, and I tasted the bitterness of his coffee as our tongues danced together. I pulled away once the kiss grew hungrier, licking my lips, and I stepped away from Sebastian. “I have to go.”

“If you insist.” I reached down to grab my purse and slip my feet into my shoes. “Do you want my car to take you home?’

“No, thank you. I’ll get a cab. Thanks.” I smiled wistfully and looked around the beautiful room one more time. I’d never forget it. I headed towards the door and opened it slowly, not wanting to leave him.

I closed it and headed towards the elevator that said it went to the lobby. I pushed the button and waited for the door to open, stepping inside as the night before played through my mind. I looked back towards the apartment, seeing the hall empty. I stepped inside and pushed the button for the lobby, leaning back against the wall.

Once I was in the lobby, I used the Uber app to get a car and walked outside to wait for it. You would think that I’d stand out in this dress on the street on a Saturday afternoon, but this was New York. I looked around, taking in the energetic vibe that was all around me. I was going to miss this city for one more reason now, but it wasn’t going to last forever.

The little white car pulled up and I checked the app to make sure that it was the right one, looking back one more time at the tall building.
