Bait and Switch (Bear Creek Grizzlies Book 4) by Layla Nash (11)

Chapter 11

Cooper

When she touched herself, he almost came in his shorts. Cooper could have worshiped her body all night, just to watch the flush climb from her chest up to her face as she got closer to finishing. She tried to hold on to him, thrashing as he teased her tight channel. Her orgasm was a glorious sight to behold—she sprawled with complete abandon, her expression surprised and almost pained as her body seized up and a guttural moan escaped her lips.

Cooper ran his hand up and down the outside of her thigh as she breathed through the tremors, still shaking even a minute or two after the orgasm. He waited, even as the bear roared to mark her more and mount her, make sure she smelled like him so no one would ever bother her again.

Jada’s eyes fluttered as she tried to open them, one arm moving slow and languidly over her head while the other touched her stomach and started to drift again. Cooper held on to control by his fingertips; if she touched herself again, he wouldn’t be able to hold back. He leaned over her to brush his lips across hers, keeping the touch gentle so he wouldn’t startle her. “Doing okay?”

Her wide green eyes found his, though she looked dreamy and content as she stroked his cheek. “More than okay.”

“I’m glad to hear it.” His bear rumbled in anticipation. He’d pleased the girl. A hint of pride ran through him, even as lust swirled higher and threatened to short out his brain. He nuzzled behind her ear and let his knee press into the mattress between her thighs. “How about a little more?”

Her forehead creased as she looked up at him, and her hands fell away. “This is the part that hurts?”

“We’ll go slow.” Cooper turned his attention back to her breasts, waiting until she sighed and started to move to kneel over her. He stared down at her stomach and hips and gorgeous pink folds, mesmerized by her soft skin and hesitant movements. He moved her knees apart more and groaned.

And then he paused. Condom. Of course. Cooper started to move away and Jada caught his arm, fear in her eyes. “Where are you going?”

“To get some protection,” he murmured, kissing the back of her hand.

Jada shook her head and wouldn’t let him go. “You’re not supposed to. The sheets...”

The goddamn sheets. Cooper shook his head. “You could get pregnant, baby. We can figure out

“What if they won’t let me leave?” Real panic jolted her upright, trembling as she tried to hold on to him. “Please, Cooper. We just have to do it right so we can leave. I can’t stay here. I can’t. Not another day, I’ll

“Hey,” he said, easing back on the bed so he could nudge her back, resting his hand on her stomach to try and calm her. “Jada, take a deep breath. It’s okay. We’ll do whatever you want. I just didn’t think you’d want to risk having a baby.”

She still didn’t look reassured, and she sure as hell wasn’t relaxed and turned on like before. Jada gnawed at her lower lip, eyes darting past him and around the room uneasily. “I don’t know. But I can’t stay here. I can’t.”

“You won’t.” Cooper took a deep breath and stretched out on his side next to her, so he could slide his hand between her thighs once more. “Just relax, Jada. Kiss me.”

She blinked as she looked up at him, and a slight flush rose in her cheeks. But she craned her head up to press her mouth to his, and Cooper grumbled as those maddening lips drove him to the edge once more. He kissed her back until her thighs eased open again and she sighed and relaxed. Waiting to take her probably shaved a few years off his life, but it was worth every second.

Cooper nipped at her neck, loving her reaction as she shivered and dragged her nails down his arm, and he eased to kneel between her legs again after he snapped off his briefs. He kept his weight off her chest, not wanting to crush her, and bumped his nose to hers as she looked up at him with wide eyes. “Okay?”

“Okay,” she whispered, holding onto his biceps tightly, and took a deep breath.

Cooper took himself in hand and rubbed the head of his cock against her damp slit. Jada looked down between their bodies and her face flamed red as the dark outline of his cock pressed against her. Cooper loved it. The soft, welcoming wetness in her channel made it easy to slip the blunt crown into her, and Jada took a sharp breath. She tensed and he groaned; he wanted to slam into her, possess and take her, but she wasn’t ready.

He withdrew and eased the tip back in, letting everything get slippery, and gradually Jada relaxed again. He pressed a little deeper each time, until her body tightened and the resistance felt too much to just slide past. Cooper kissed her and Jada moaned against his lips, her hips moving against him uncertainly, and he smiled. Maybe she was more ready than he thought.

Cooper licked her neck as he tensed, then blew another raspberry on her neck, enough to make her squeal and laugh, and as it distracted her, he thrust until he filled her up. Jada sucked in a breath and went still, frozen underneath him, and Cooper couldn’t look away from her beautiful eyes as he entered her and she received him. The bear groaned, wanting to move, but Cooper held himself still.

Jada’s nails dug into his shoulders and a tremor ran through her. Cooper really hoped she wouldn’t cry.
