Catching Fire: New Rules (Billionaire Romance Series Book 2) by T.N King (9)

Morgan left early the next morning leaving Ellie all alone in his brand new mansion. When Ellie woke up, she found five crisp hundred dollar bills laying on the dresser with a note:

Ellie

I’m sorry I had to leave all of a sudden, but I promise I’ll be back before you know it. In the meantime, have some fun on me. I can't wait to return to you.

Love,

Morgan

Ellie smiled and held the note to her chest. She picked up the $500. “What on earth can I do with this?”

Miraculously, all her bills were caught up. She wasn’t used to this way of life. She’d never splurged money on herself. For years, it had been just her and her dad with bills always waiting for any money they brought in. She was alone and all her money went to just surviving. She thought for a moment and decided. “Time for a new professional wardrobe.”

All her clothes were cute and inappropriate for the business world that she would soon be entering. She also wanted to impress Morgan when he came back.

“Well, it is Saturday. A good day to shop. So, new clothes it is,” she said, and hopped off the bed.

After locking up, Ellie planned to go back to her apartment to shower and change before setting out on her busy day. She called a cab and arrived at her apartment. She planned to drive her car to the clothing district.

Driving down fifth street an hour later, she felt a chill suddenly and it wasn’t from the weather. She glanced in her rear view mirror and watched the cars behind her.

“THERE!” she said with a dread in her body. Someone was following her. Or were they? She didn’t know why anyone would. Maybe it was paparazzi? Ellie laughed aloud. Like she was Paris and they were trying to get a picture. Her smile dropped. She was dating a billionaire though. Could it be?

She parked in front of one of the warehouse clothing outlets. When she got out, she looked all around for the car she thought she’d seen before following her. She didn’t see anyone. Mmm. Maybe I’m just paranoid?

Ellie walked into the clothier and forgot about her fears as the clothes beckoned her.

New York…

Morgan thought about last night, or rather this morning, for the entire drive. He replayed every erotic, gut clenching, cock hardening minute in his mind. He’d thought before that his Ellie was perfect for him, but he never knew she would fit what he needed and had wanted so well. Other women had tried to act meek once they knew he was like he was, but he saw through it every time. Yes, at first he knew that Ellie had felt bad for possibly insulting him when she’d found him in that playroom but when she showed him proof of how hot it had made her, he took his opportunity.

Yes, he had thought it would take time to maybe convince her of using the room, but he never believed she would take to it so soon. Morgan grinned. He felt on top of the world. Where had this girl been all his life? But he knew. In the slums where he’d hardly ever appeared. He’d saved her from that restaurant fire, only to catch fire because of her.

She still remained sweet and guileless the entire time they had been together. Look at what she’d just done. Gave herself up to him in such a sweet way. So natural and the best sex he’d ever had, he’d had with Ellie and it wasn’t just that. Her fighting spirit and straight forward ways had made him admire her more and more all the time. She went at everything with all she had.

He did worry about leaving her alone so much. She was a treasure and he just could not lose her. He even thought about a body guard but he knew she would fight that tooth and nail. He would look overbearing and too dominant. Yes, he liked to dominate in bed, so what? But he would never try to dampen her spirit or drive. It would be like taking a rare flower, so delicate but strong and crushing it in your hands. No, he wouldn’t try to control her like that. He just liked controlling that sweet body.

Morgan laughed out loud at this sinful thought and summation of himself.

He finally arrived at his Lake Placid house with very little time to get his tux and make it to the charity ball. If Ellie hadn’t had classes, he would have brought her with him. She’d been such a sensation at the last one. Truth be told, he wanted her with him all the time now. He did hate leaving her there in Philly. Especially, since the diner was in a rather bad part of town. At least now, she had a car and was on a safe campus. And in the apartment, he’d gotten her. He shook his head as he stepped out of the house. He just couldn’t shake the feeling that something might happen to her and he wouldn’t be there.

It had to be a syndrome. After all, he’d been there to save her life. Just a happenstance when at that exact moment, he happened to be driving by only to see her entering that burning diner. The girl he’d save from a fire. So angelic, sweet and the look in her eyes—he’d never seen that expression before, not in a female’s gaze. How fragile she’d felt in his arms. She had just seemed so delicate. Her skin looked like porcelain that could at any moment shatter into a million pieces. An overwhelming sense of ownership towards her kept bugging him after that day and the feeling never left.

Then he’d had moments of agony and ultimate pleasure with her since that day. Like last night for instance. Total heaven. He gotten the woman for him and it had happened by chance, all by chance. He got into the limo to go to the ball and his cell rang. Thinking it might be Ellie, he tapped the cell without looking at the caller ID.

“Hey buddy.”

Morgan rolled his eyes. Speaking of Chance, there he was. “What can I do for you…Buddy?”

That wicked laugh came over the phone. “Just checking to see if you made it to the ball, Prince Charming.”

Prince Charming? Morgan snickered he couldn’t help it. “Not yet.”

Silence reigned on the other end.

“But don’t worry. I am in my tux and almost there.”

“Okay, good. So are you going stag this time?”

Morgan sighed as he gazed out the window. “I left Cinderella behind this time.” He had a vision in his head of the way Ellie had looked in that dress at the ball. She’s been a vision from some heaven where only angels existed. Morgan had felt like someone had just punched him in the chest when he’d first caught sight of her standing at the top of those stairs. The blue silk had hugged every curve as a bit of thigh flashed when she took a step. And with each step, her blue heels had reflected diamond light as well. The diamonds around her chest sparkled under the light of the chandelier and lit up her face.

Morgan couldn’t breathe at the time and it happened just now too, as he got a perfect image of her in that diamond dress. He’d never had that reaction to anyone or anything before. Until maybe last night as her creamy skin gleamed with its own light as she hung wide open for him. His cock hardened with the erotic vision. No need for diamonds when she had a glow all her own.

“Cinderella indeed. You’re serious about this girl, aren’t you?”

Chance’s voice broke into his heavenly visions. Morgan stilled at the question. “You saw me Chance. When I thought I’d lost her. What the fuck do you think?”

Chance sighed. “Yeah, just checking as you have dropped women before.”

Morgan felt angry. “Well, there’s a first time for everything.” He scowled resenting the man’s interference as if he didn’t have enough self-doubt himself, about keeping her and not because of boredom. “Looking to pick up the ball if I do?” he seethed.

Again, with the wicked laugh. “You’re glowering at me now, aren’t you?”

Morgan huffed. “Goodbye Chance.” He tapped his smart phone and abruptly hung up. “Sonofabitch!” The man had a way of getting to him. Well, they had known each other for years and…Chance knew most of his secrets too. This bothered him a bit. He shrugged. Well, he knew some of Chance’s skeletons as well. So, he’d better not be damn well digging into Morgan’s closets either.

The video stopped playing and the man viewing it with his fists clenched at his sides held his breath as he came in his pants. My god! The images of her hanging there in those straps, the way she gave herself over to the playboy. It was the sexiest most erotic scene he’d ever seen and he’d watched plenty of porn.

He gazed down and realized he’d messed his boxers up. He’d had trouble getting a hard on for years and because of this girl, he came in his clothes? Yes, as that stupid playboy had said, she was perfect. He agreed. Only Morgan had been wrong about one thing. She was perfect for me.

He stood and let out another breath. Oh, to take her just the same way. Only he would do it up right. Chains instead of straps and he would gag her. He never knew she liked this kind of sex. Just thinking about her begging and pleading to him, made him hard all over again. He couldn’t wait to set this up.

Yes, he’d known about the mansion on Mockingbird. He’d gotten in and planted his cams, but he never thought he would get this in return. He’d been lucky twice now and this new video led him to a whole new place. A place where his plans suddenly changed…His plans for Ellie.

He’d thought to take his time in order to trap her, but now he knew he couldn’t wait. First though, he needed to get two people out of the way. One was Morgan and the other? He wasn’t sure, but he’d already spotted the guy following her.

Did the woman have more admirers? He shrugged. Didn’t matter, he would get rid of everyone who stood between him and Ellie.

He would have Ellie White for himself.
