Caught Red Handed (The Caught Series Book 6) by C.M. Steele (4)

Tony

My heart was pounding out of control. If I didn’t know I was in great health, I’d think I needed an ambulance immediately. This sexy little thing managed to destroy the wall I’d built. I should send her on her way, thanking her for bringing me back to life, but nothing in me could do it. This woman wasn’t tainted with the dark side of the world. I could see that in her innocence and the way she fought herself over her feelings. She was lusting over my cock, but she wasn’t that kind of girl and guilt was written all over her words, but I didn’t give a fuck. She broke my walls in seconds, and later on, I was going to tear hers up and spray them with my seed. Fuck, I reached in between us and cupped her sex, pushing my thumb and my load into her cunt.

Her head rested on my chest, and I wanted us to stay this way, but I didn’t want anyone to come knocking or just walking in. I pulled her off me and sat her on the couch. Her eyes were fuzzy and her face flush bright pink with post-orgasmic bliss. “Fuck, you’re so beautiful.”

I fixed myself back into my pants, then pulled down her skirt and fixed her top. She was wearing a stripper’s outfit, and if she didn’t belong to me, she would be the ideal type in looks. Her personality was clear; she didn’t have a stripper in her, but for me she will. Alana dozed off and I took her little clutch she came in with. Scoping out her ID, I took a picture of it. I wanted her address and everything because something told me her ass would give me attitude about getting it. Her phone was next but it needed a passcode. Damn it. I hated that it was locked, because who the fuck was she hiding her phone from? She wasn’t going to get away with hiding it from me.

I was just about to slip it back into her bag when a text message came up from someone named Greg. Did you get the job? I couldn’t read the rest of the message, but it pissed me off that not only was there a guy knowing she was coming here, but who was he to her? Thoughts of murder came to my mind. I hated that she had shared her life with someone else, no matter who he was. It was fucked because we only just met, but I’d known from the first second that she was mine. Nothing in my life seemed worth living, and then she stepped into my club, looking like a fish out of water, and I couldn’t help but make her my prey.

I slipped her phone back into her clutch just as my own phone buzzed with a text from Tito. There was a special client here to see me. I didn’t want to see him. Covering her with my coat, I kissed her lips and left her to sleep.

“What do you want?” I growled as I reached the fat bastard sitting at one of my tables in the back of the club. Jake Denny was one of my borrowers and with Homan missing, I don’t know what made him think I would be generous with my time or money. It was dark so most couldn’t see us, but that wasn’t going to save him if he wasted more of my time.

“I need another loan.” I wanted to pop him in the throat. He was keeping me away from my sweet little Alana, and I didn’t care for that one bit. I’d only been out of my office for five minutes and I wanted to rush back to her. She was going to be forced to have a shadow from now on. I was so fucked.

“And you think right here is a perfect place for it? Your eyes haven’t even focused on me for more than a second. I don’t have time for this shit right now. I’ll be in contact with you, and when I do we’ll deal with this. Excuse me, but I’ve got somewhere to be.” I got up and walked away, ignoring his hand out for a shake. I didn’t know where that fucker’s hands had been, but I knew where mine had and I didn’t want anyone to get a hint of her scent because she belonged all to me.

Just as I was about to climb up the stairs, Tito stopped me again. “Boss, I’m sorry, but the man at the door saw your girl walk out of here with your coat on.”

“Damn it,” I snapped. I walked up to the bar, needing a stiff drink. “Give me some tequila.” I looked down at my watch. I had another two hours before I could close this place down. I didn’t have to be here normally, but I still had shit to do. Fuck, I’d forgotten that I tossed everything on the floor. It was going to take even longer to get the paperwork done. It was all Denny’s fault. I hated that fat fucker. He didn’t deserve my time, but it was his connection with the mayor that made it acceptable. The mayor was under my thumb and pushed my paperwork through faster than the rest. It was his fault that I even took in Homan, so Denny looking for another loan was laughable. I wasn’t a loan shark per se, but I did lend money out. My real business was here, but fuckers were afraid and believed most of the lies about me. Good, it was what I needed. I shook my head as I went back up to my office.

It still smelled of her, so I closed the door and cleaned up my mess. It was only a matter of time before I found her. Thank fuck, I was smart. Something told me that she was going to be a handful. The memory of being in a hospital bed kept me from chasing after her. She’d be mine in the morning. This was different than before. I knew that from the start. I wasn’t interested in more than a one-off then, and it nearly cost me my life. This woman was my future wife and mother of my kids. I felt that shit in the pit of my stomach.

I looked over all the paperwork until the club closed, then met with the staff for the night. I was taking tomorrow off to pursue my wayward baby momma. I was going to tie her ass to my bed until she got it straight that she was mine and belonged with me.
