His Royal Majesty : A Royal Wedding Romance by Cassandra Bloom (16)

Chapter 16

Veronica packed her things in a rush. She could catch the next very boat– whichever one was taking the latest women back to shore. After breakfast, she quietly arranged for Adrian's next date. She had moved Cressida anyways – placing her spot toward the end of the week. Veronica felt frazzled. Her world was still spinning. She thought – that after her first blow job – she would want to brush her teeth and clean up. But, he tasted so good.

She had only finished wiping up his juices on her face – but she sucked on her lip, tasting him still.

"This has gotten way out of hand," she was trying to convince herself that she needed to go.

Once breakfast was over, she hurried back to her room. She didn't want to give herself any hesitation. As she made her way there "– she spotted Dexter in the hallway.

"Hey –" she grabbed him by the elbow, "I need you to get me another boat – for me."

She spoke in a hushed tone – hoping no one passing by would hear. He looked at her startled, "You're going to shore?"

This wasn't normal – they always had everything they needed on the boat – you only went to shore for emergencies.

And she shook her head, "I don't really have time explain right now – I just want to be out of here by noon."

"But – why?"

She brought him and close, so that only he can hear her whisper, "I'm just – I'm just not really getting along with this whole bachelorette thing – it be better if I was in here."

She didn't want to hide anything from him – but she couldn't explain either that she had just given Prince Adrian a blow job.

His eyes look sad, "But the Prince – he was just talking about you –"

she gulped, she hoped he had blown her cover.

"What was he saying?"

Dexter smiled, looking down with the blush, "He said he wanted to give you a gift in your room – so I gave him directions."

The blush hit her cheeks hard. She felt the heat rising within her in an instant.

He wants to know where my room is?

A thousand fantasies rush through her mind – all of them involving Adrian and her in her dark room. Fair to sees a flutter to her heart. She shook her head.

"Can you just do this for me?" She stared at him with an intensity – hoping that he would understand her plea.

Dexter looked at her with a suspicious glance, but he nodded slowly. She took a sigh of relief. She placed her hand on his shoulders, giving him a warm smile.

"You've really been a good friend to me all this time."

Dexter smiled – but, it looked like he wanted to cry.

She hurried into her room – sending Brian a quick text message that she was leaving. She had a feeling that he wasn't going to argue. In her message, she told him that she realized he was right. That Veronica needed to leave soon as possible to get things ready for their wedding.

He replied back, ":-) glad you're on board of me."

Her stomach turned – he really didn't get her. But with that, and packing her things. She was ready to go. She took a look around her room – she quickly taken down most of the thought of the pack them into a box – labeling them for Dexter so that he could ship them for her. Most everything else have impacted the boxes already – as she had gotten prepared for last week.

As she was about to leave her room – her phone chimed.

It was a message from Dexter. Her stomach dropped as she read it.

"So sorry – there is nothing else available right now, crew is cleaning – next stop is Montenegro."

She groaned in frustration – of all the places that she was going to land. It had to be Montenegro.

Her stomach felt like a dropped her feet.

She replied back to Dexter with a simple okay. But, she wasn't okay. She felt trapped now, stuck between a man who she wanted badly – and the man who wanted her badly for the wrong reasons.

She felt herself slump against the door – there was nothing else she could do. But, once they landed at the port – she can make a run for it. She could get out of there soon as she could – perhaps escaping both Adrian and the murderous Mario.

She didn't have a choice—but, she tried to calm herself down. It wasn't like Adrian was seriously into her—he just wanted her to be his plaything.

But, the way things were going—she was going to end up breaking her most precious vow.

And she didn't want that—although every time she was with Adrian, her body didn't listen to reason. She didn't know how much longer she could wait.

There was a knock on the door.

Her heart pounded, and she set down her case and opened it slowly, hoping that it wasn't Adrian—she could slam the door closed in an instant.

Brian looked down at her, "Hey you OK?"

His blue eyes shone with concern that she was not familiar with.

"Oh yeah—why?" She hadn't opened the door any further—she just wanted to escape.

"Cuz I just ran into Dex and he said you weren't going anymore," Brian looked puzzled. Did he want her off the ship that badly?

"Right—he couldn't find the boat for me," she wanted him to leave.

"Right—" he stared at her up and down, "Maybe the next one then—you should leave the islands soon anyways."

She stared at him confused, not understanding his comment, "Why is that?"

He looked to the side for a moment, "Because it looks like you're getting used to that island food."

Her jaw dropped— "Wow, OK good conversation—I need to get back to work."

He shrugged, as if his comment hadn't stung her.

She closed the door behind her, wanting to slam it in his face.

Part of her wanted to shove a cake into his stupid smirk, but the other part said that she needed to keep winning him over. She groaned in exasperation. This day was not getting better.

The chime on her phone rang. It was from Megan. Veronica had just finished putting some of her things back into place—but, she kept her case ready to go just in case.

She took a look at her phone, and her day just got worse.

Veronica—please bring condoms to the room.

Veronica's jaw dropped—the realization slapped her hard.

Of course he's still having sex—he's a fucking prince—he's here to have all the sex he wants.

The feeling burned within her, making her feel hollow and stupid.

Did she think that he was waiting for her—that he only wanted her sex?

She slammed down the phone, this time hearing a crack for sure.

She groaned and looked at her phone. A thin line split the message down the middle. Veronica wanted to give up on the day—she wanted to run away. She grabbed her phone and shoved it into her jacket pocket.

She marched to their storage room where they held lube and condoms and more. Usually, she would make a nice basket for her guests—but, she didn't want to liven up Adrien's mood anymore.

The idea burned in her—her stomach was twisting in knots, threatening to pull out her rib cage and toss it to the floor. She walked towards the suite. As she got closer, she saw the hulking figure standing at the door.

She walked up, holding the items in her hands.

The guard looked down at her. Veronica heard grunts coming from inside—it sounded like Adrian was having a good time.

Such an idiot, she thought bitterly.

She handed the items to the guard. He shook his head, "Megan said to leave them on the table."

Her heart lurched—she had to go inside and witness that?

She groaned under her breath, and she tried to pick herself up as well as she could. She placed her hand on the handle and took a deep breath. She opened the door and walked in.

Someone must have punched her in the gut. Because, she felt the air leave her. She entered the room, to find Adrian sitting in a large chair that faced the window—his back to the door. There was a woman there on her knees, her head bobbing up and down in front of him. The couch covered her face. He leaned his head back, staring at the ceiling, moaning.

It took every ounce of her to step towards the table, her eyes not leaving them. They didn't notice she was there. She could slip out of this room and run.

She took in the scene though, her eyes gazing at Adrien's face. It looked different—scrunched up in concentration. His grunts sounded hard, not like when Veronica was giving him the blow job. He had sounded lost and out of control then.

She took a step back and hit something behind her.

Something clattered to the floor.

Adrien's head snapped to her. His eyes widened as he looked at her, and the group of items on the table.

He sprang up, knocking the woman back and she fell onto the floor with a thump. Adrian tucked himself into his boxers, his eyes looking to her and then to the table.

"What are you doing here—I didn't call for you."

She blushed—he was walking towards her as if angry, confusion on his face.

She took a step towards the door—she felt like a caged animal, "Umm I got the message—Megan said..."

His face fell instantly, his eyebrows narrowed.

He turned to the redhead on the floor.

"Get out," he snapped.

The woman picked herself off the floor, trying to adjust the straps on her dress—her face showed her emotions clearly—she had missed her opportunity to seduce Adrian.

Veronica turned to follow quickly behind her.

"Wait—not you Veronica."

Veronica froze and turned slowly to face him. His face was a mix of emotions—all of them confusing to her.

She heard the door close behind her.
