Irresistible Omega: M/M Non-Shifter Alpha/Omega MPREG (The Eden Pines Omegas Book 1) by Chelsee Vine (29)

________

BRYAN

I looked around the room and smiled as I saw our friends and families there to support us on our special day.  Sebastian was in an adjoining room because I didn’t want him to see me before we walked into the attendant’s room. My parents, brother, and Carl were practically beaming and I could see how happy they were for me. Sebastian’s parents, his brother Tyler and his best friend, Jaxson were chatting with my family while Carl helped me make sure my suit and hair were perfect.

I met Jax for the first time that morning because he was always traveling and was rarely in town for more than a day or two.  I was so happy to finally meet him because I knew how much he meant to Sebastian and I also knew how happy he was for us.  Sebastian had told me all about his best friend and he always said how nice it was to have a friend that had your back no matter what.  It was rare for him to meet someone who didn’t want something from him and Jax had never done anything but be supportive of him.  He was a great friend to Sebastian and I loved that he was so good to him.

“You look fabulous, Bryan, and you are definitely glowing.  Are you feeling okay today?” Carl asked.

“Yes, I just have crazy butterflies.  This isn’t even going to be a huge ceremony and I am a nervous wreck!”

“There is nothing to be nervous about.  You are getting ready to marry the love of your life.  Bryan, I see the way Sebastian looks at you and he is head over heels for you.  I hope I can find someone like that one day.  You have found the one thing that everyone is looking for and that is true love.  Bask in this moment because this is a very special day.”

I smiled at him and hugged my friend.  I was so lucky to have someone like Carl in my life and I wanted him to find what I had with Sebastian with his own someone special one day.  He had a heart of gold and I knew that one day, when he least expected it, that special person would come in and sweep him off of his feet.

“Thank you, Carl.  I needed to hear that.  You’re next, you know.”

“I hope so but let’s just focus on you because today is your special day.  I am so happy for you, Bryan.  Sebastian is a wonderful man and I know he will take such good care of you and the baby.”

“He has been so loving with me, Carl.  He doesn’t let me do anything and he is so concerned about my comfort, it’s very sweet.”

“Well, let’s go get you married to your man, it’s time,” he said as he smiled at me.

We walked into the attendant’s room and waited for Sebastian to come in.  I took a deep breath and turned when I heard the door open.  Sebastian was standing there, smiling at me, looking gorgeous in a beautiful black suit.  I felt like I was in a fairytale and I never wanted it to end.

Sebastian walked over to me and gave me a sweet peck on the lips.

“You look so handsome, Bryan.  I am the luckiest man in the world and I can’t wait to be able to call you my husband.”

“I feel the same way, honey.”

He linked his fingers through mine and looked at me and smiled.

“Ready?”

“Yes,” I smiled back at him.

The ceremony was pretty simple but we were allowed to say our own vows and Sebastian’s words were so touching.

“I never thought I would meet someone like you, Bryan.  You are my best friend, my omega, my mate, you are the reason I smile, you are there for me in every aspect of my life, you are the sweetest, kindest, most loving person I have ever met and I am so happy that we found each other.  I love you with all of my heart, I promise to always protect you, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life loving you and our child.”

I fought back tears as I said my vows.

“Sebastian, you have changed my world.  You are my alpha, my mate, I am so thankful for you and I want to spend my life loving you, comforting you, laughing with you, and living life with you.  We have a beautiful little miracle that is going to join us in a few months and I know you are going to be an amazing father.  I am so lucky to have you and I will never let you go.  I love you with everything that I am.”

The attendant pronounced us married a couple of minutes later and the ceremony was over.  It was perfect and it was just what I wanted.  I was so happy that we didn’t have a big wedding, and having our closest family and friends there was all that I needed.  Sebastian didn’t have a preference one way or the other, he just wanted to make me happy, so when he agreed to the courthouse ceremony I was overjoyed.

My mom came over to me and gave me a huge hug.

“Even though it was short, it was such a beautiful ceremony, honey.  You and Sebastian look so happy and we are just thrilled for you.”

“Thanks, Mom,” I said as I smiled at her.

We all went back to our place (I had moved in with Sebastian a couple of days after he asked me) for a small celebration and we invited a few more family and friends since the number of people you could have at the courthouse was limited. It was a perfect setting because it gave me a chance to get to know Sebastian’s best friend Jax a little bit better.

“So Jax, Sebastian tells me that you are an incredible artist.  I saw the pieces he commissioned for the Paris shopping center and I would love to see more of your work.”

“I don’t usually share my work but since you are like family now, I would be happy to let you see some of my paintings as long as you give me your honest opinion about them,” Jax said.

“I definitely will.  And thank you for agreeing to let me see your paintings.  If it is anything like what I saw in Paris I am sure it is beautiful work.”

“Thank you, Bryan, that means a lot to me.  So, tell me, how does it feel to be married?  Do you feel any differently than you did this morning before the ceremony?”

“I don’t know that I feel different, I am just really happy today.  It was a perfect day and it means so much to us that you were here.  Thank you for coming, Jax.”

“You’re welcome and I would not have missed this for the world,” he said as he smiled at me.

I glanced around the room and smiled as I watched the most important people in our lives sharing our special day with us.  It was amazing how much my life had changed in the past few months.  I looked over at my loving husband and he smiled at me as my mother was talking his ear off.

He mouthed, “do you need anything”, and I shook my head and just smiled.  I knew how lucky I was to have met him but the way he was treating me while I was pregnant was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of.  He was there for me every step of the way, making sure I had everything I needed.

Sebastian didn’t want me to work while I was pregnant and he told me that as soon as I was ready, if I wanted to, I could go back to work and pick up where I left off.  Doris was also in agreement with him and she was so thoughtful and concerned about my well-being.  She told me that when I was ready, after the baby was born, if I wanted to return to work she had a project she wanted me to lead.  I had every intention of going back to work eventually, but I definitely wanted to spend a significant amount of time with the baby after it was born, so I was thinking it might be a couple of years before I went back.  It was just nice to know that option was there for me if I wanted it.  I was happier than I had ever been in my life.
