Melt Me Miles: Rakes vs. Wallflowers by S Cinders (19)

CHAPTER 18

Miles could not wait to see Hetty again. He had found himself counting the minutes until their next encounter. It was all well and good that they hold off dissolving the engagement.

But Miles had learned sometime late into the night or perhaps it was early morning, that he didn’t want to break this engagement.

The moment that he saw her coming down the front stairs, he knew that she was the one for him. Her hair had shades from chestnut to honey, and it shone in the sunlight. Her perfect cheekbones reflected grace and beauty. She was stunning. Her hazel eyes were bright and focused.

“Miles,” she extended one of her arms which he gladly took. “I happened by the window and saw your carriage pull up. I thought I would just come out, I know that Aunt Gen doesn’t like to be kept waiting.”

Miles inhaled her sweet scent of honeysuckle and berries. “My godmomma is something of a terror when she doesn’t get her way.”

Hetty laughed, “I dare you to say that to her.”

Miles mocked terror, “Are you joking? I wouldn’t live to tell the tale. You know she terrifies one and all.”

“Aunt Gen?” Hetty couldn’t help the smile that was plastered on her face. “She is the kindest woman of my acquaintance.”

Miles laughed as he followed her into his carriage, “We need to introduce you to more females in London. I had no idea you only knew a handful of people.”

Hetty giggled, “You are terrible, and I ought to tell Aunt Gen.”

Miles looked down at her flushed upturned face, “You are beautiful, do you know that?”

He hadn’t meant to speak the words. They just flowed out of him, but he didn’t regret saying them. He had a feeling that Hetty had no idea just how lovely she was.

“Thank you,” Hetty was embarrassed, not really certain what had come over Miles. One moment they were laughing and joking and the next his eyes were darkening and she was getting that odd feeling in her stomach.

“I want to kiss you,” his voice was barely discernible above the noise of the moving carriage. It had deepened and caused goosebumps to cover Hetty’s arms.

“Please do,” Hetty quickly whispered back.

Miles groaned, “I meant after we see Lady Gen, she will have my head if she knew that I had treated you so poorly. In truth, I know that I shouldn’t be making love to you in a carriage. But there is something about sitting near you that crumbles all of my gentlemanly resolve.”

Hetty gave him a shy smile, “I wouldn’t have objected.”

Miles scooted closer on the bench, “Darling, when you say things like that, it makes it hard for me to remember that we are not married.”

“I am good at pretending,” Hetty reached her hand up and touched the small dimple on his cheek.

“Damnit, so am I,” Miles crushed her to him.

His lips finding hers, he captured her next breath. She was perfect for him in every way. Her small form seemed to melt into his embrace.

Hetty didn’t wait to be kissed, she returned everything he gave her with equal fervor. When she tentatively licked his lips, Miles knew that he was in over his head.

Her innocence and raw sexuality was almost too much for him to handle. He slanted his mouth over hers, kissing her deeply until he was rock hard in his pants.

Hetty felt like she was drowning, although she had no idea if someone could actually drown from passion. His mouth was as demanding as his hands were. She felt red hot heat in her core and squirmed a little to try and ease the tension building there.

She knew from the Bluebells what and orgasm was, and that even some ladies touched themselves. But this was nothing that Hetty had ever tried before.

Now feeling the floods of passion releasing in herself she knew why reputations were ruined for a simple kiss. If she could go on kissing Miles for days she would.

Slipping her fingers into his black silky hair she moaned as his hands came up to cup her breasts.

“Yes,” she cried out against his lips.

Miles knew that they were going too far too fast. He wasn’t even going to kiss her until they were returning home. Now, all he could envision was pulling her beautiful legs apart and sinking into the very heart of her.

He rubbed his thumbs over her extended nipples. Even through the clothing, Hetty shuddered. This was bliss, this was what the girls had been speaking of.

“Darling, darling, we are here.”

It took Hetty a moment to realize what Miles was saying to her. And then she reared back, “Good Lord! What do I look like?”

Miles looked her over. Hetty was terribly flushed, with her bosom rising and falling rapidly. Her eyes were dilated and her lips swollen. Half of her pins had come out when he ran his hands into her hair.

“I’ve never seen you look lovelier,” he replied.

“Oh Miles,” Hetty put her gloved hand to his cheek, “You are a terrible liar.”

Miles looked at her in surprise before a laugh escaped him, “I am not lying!”

Hetty smiled sheepishly, “Then you are blind, but I thank you for it anyhow. Why is it that I am a complete mess and you look at dashing as ever?”

Miles grinned, “You think I look dashing?”

Hetty pushed his arm gently, “You know what I mean.”

Miles laughed again, “I know I shouldn’t tease. And let me assure you, when I stand up it will be very apparent what we have been up to.”

Hetty was puzzled, “Whatever do you mean?”

Miles shook his head, “Never mind, I forget that you are so young.”

“No,” Hetty frowned, “What do you mean?”

Miles stood to descend from the carriage. He motioned to the front placket of his trousers.

Hetty turned three shades of red, “Oh! Well, he certainly is awake, isn’t he?”

Miles threw his head back and laughed, “Yes darling, he is awake. And the more we talk about him, the happier it makes him. So, let’s just pretend that he isn’t there.”

But Hetty couldn’t just pretend that his cock was making a large tent in his trousers. It seemed the more she stared the larger it became. It was incredible.

Miles helped her down the steps, “Stop looking at it.”

Hetty flashed him a smile, “I can’t help it. I wonder what it looks like.”

Miles stopped, “Dear Lord, why do you hate me?”

Hetty giggled, “Didn’t I say something rather close to that the day you found me in the rain?”

Miles laughed, “I do believe you are right.”

Hetty glanced up at him, “I love it when you laugh.”

Miles stopped again, his smile falling a little, but not lost, “I shall try to do so more often.”

She squeezed his arm in response and they entered Lady Gen’s home.
