Must Love Curves by Allie Faye (8)

  DARIN

We did it. We actually did it. I still can’t accept it is real. Once the preacher went through our vows with us, I didn’t want to go to the reception. I only wanted to get my bride alone and peel that dress from her body. However, Eddie went to a lot of trouble to pull this off and I am grateful. I couldn’t ask for a better friend. He’s always had my back.

Was today ideal or conventional? No, but not every relationship starts out perfect. I smile at my bride as she still appears to be letting today’s events sink in. There’s a bewildered expression on her face that I am afraid will be in every photograph of our wedding day.

Eddie wanted to hire Enzo just to be a dick, but I thought that would have been pushing it and not fair to Faith. Not to mention I want to punch his lights out for using Faith like he did. Sure, in the end he turned over the evidence that proved Claire was an evil snake, but that doesn’t make up for what he did to Faith. It doesn’t matter now though. Things are working out as they should.

I hug her to my side and kiss her cheek. “Are you okay?”

“Just a bit overwhelmed,” she tells me, honestly. Holding out her hand she admires her ring. “I can’t believe this is real, ya know? I’ve always imagined us together, seeing it as nothing more than a fantasy.”

“Faith, I told you I love you. I’ve loved you for years. We’re not skipping a few steps, we’re making up for lost time. This isn’t a dream, it’s real. The way I feel about you is very real.” Moving her hand under the table I show her how real.

“Darin,” she hisses. “What if someone sees?”

I smirk at her but then I feel Eddie’s hand clamp down on my shoulder. “Save it for the honeymoon.”

I shrug and start to get up. “I need a refill.”

“Not so fast. I need to talk to both of you. It’s important.”

“Sure, man. Whatever you want.”

Faith squeezes my hand when she sees the serious look on her brother’s face. I’m guessing he is about to tell her his travel plans.

“The wedding isn’t my only gift to you. As you both know, Darin has been handling the new office, but after today he’s back home where he belongs. With you, sis. After the mess with Claire, I need a change. A new start. Faith, I’m selling you my half of the house for a dollar, I can do that because we’re family. I’m taking over Darin’s position in Colorado. The business will run as normal. Darin has already given me his blessing, so I guess I’m asking for yours, Faith.”

“Oh, Eddie.” She wipes at her eyes. “I don’t want you to go. This is your home and as far as the house goes. I’m not worried about that right now. It will always be ours. But if the Colorado office is what you want then I say go for it.” She gets up and gives him a hug.

“Thanks, Muffin, but you’re a married woman now and someday you’ll want a family. I only ask if you decide to move or sell you give me the option to buy it first.”

“Quit acting as though this is all so final. You’ll always have a home here.”

“Alright. I guess it’s time I let you two lovebirds get out of here. We’ll talk soon.”

“When are you leaving?” She questions as unshed tears glitter in her eyes.

“Later tonight, I’m flying back with Jen and Linda. Those two…” he trails off with a whistle and Faith smacks at his shoulder.

“Congrats, you two. I love you both.”

“Thanks, man. For everything.” I get up and give him an awkward hug.

“No problem.” I hug Faith to me as he walks off to join Jen and Linda at their table.

“That has trouble written all over it, doesn’t it?” My wife says with a disturbed look on her face.

“He’s a big boy. He can handle himself.”

“Speaking of big boys…” She rakes her teeth across her juicy red lips.

“I think it’s time we head to our honeymoon suite.”

“I dare say I agree with you, Mr. Lyons.”

“Mhmmh. I like the sound of that, Mrs. Lyons.”

We manage to sneak off without having to say any goodbyes or offer any excuses. I’m a man on a mission. I only have one thing on my mind for the rest of the night.

When we get to our hotel room though it seems Beans has other plans for us. As soon as I open the door the smell hits us.

“Beans!” We both yell in unison.

“That dog.” Faith shakes her head.

“It’s all those treats Eddie fed him to get that tux on him.” I laugh.

“How about I take him for a walk and you call room service and ask for some candles.”

“Deal.” She pinches her nose and waves her hand around as I get Beans on his leash.

“Come on, stinky.”

When I get off the elevator in the lobby, I spy Eddie being led by his tie by Linda and her girlfriend from the reception room to the other elevators. He doesn’t even notice me not that I can blame him.

I chuckle to myself, guess I wasn’t their type or maybe they are taking pity on him after what Claire did to him.

I get stinky butt outside and walk him around for about ten minutes then head back in to my bride. God, I love how that sounds inside my head. If you would have told me three weeks ago that I’d be getting married today, I would have called you a liar and laughed in your face, but now as I enter this hotel room and see my wife lighting candles and moving her hips to the soft music playing from her cell phone on the nightstand, I love it.

She smiles at me as I lock Beans up in his crate. I’m not taking any chances of him trying to get into bed with us. I’ve waited a long time to make Faith mine. I plan on enjoying it.

Loosening my tie, I cross the room and step in behind her, rubbing my hands over her hips and kissing her neck.

“Hey, husband.”

“Hey, wife,” I grit through my teeth as her hips sway against my crotch to the mellow beat.

Spinning her around in my arms, I tell her, “I never did get to dance with you.”

Her arms cradle my neck. “Now’s as good a time as any.”

“I wanna do a lot more than dance with you,” I confess, but I think she knows that.

“That so?”

“It’s a fact.” I move her toward the bed making my intentions perfectly clear.

“You need to lose this dress,” I whisper against her mouth before claiming it.

My hands travel down her back until my fingers discover the zipper of her dress.

Her lips sweep over my neck, feathering light kisses along my jaw and to my ear. As I undress her, she moves to undo my zipper. “You eager, baby?” I grin.

“Yeah, babe. I am”

“Babe, is it?”

Her lashes flutter as I slide her dress down her body, leaving it to pool at her feet. What I discover   next takes my breath away. She is so damn beautiful. The blushing bride in her lingerie. A white corset is molded to her body, accenting her curves. My gaze travels her torso until they come to a rest on her white lace panties adorned with a cute bow. Dropping to my knees, I take my time appreciating the pretty package waiting for me. Those white thigh high stockings are in my face teasing me.

“Do you know how long I’ve wanted this? How many times I have dreamt of this right here.” I kiss the tops of her thighs as her fingers stroke through my hair.

She bites her bottom lip, dragging her teeth over the plump red flesh. Fuck, that is so damn sexy.

“Maybe as many times as I have.”  A naughty smirk plays at the corners of her temptress mouth as she nibbles on her finger playfully.

A groan rips from my throat, she’s already got me so hard. Sliding my palms up and down her legs, I urge her onto the bed. When she moves to roll down her hose I shake my head. “I think I want you to keep these on.” Then I snap the elastic around the top causing her to let out an “oww,” sound. “I want to make this good for you and take my time, baby, but I don’t know that I can,” I tell her down on my knees as I spread her legs apart.

Her finger presses under my chin, demanding my eyes on hers. “I don’t need slow, Darin. I only need you.”

“Is that so?”

“Yeah, that’s so.”

I’m going to hate myself for asking but it’s something we haven’t discussed. Shit, we haven’t talked about anything. We jumped right into this without even thinking of what we were doing. I’m not changing my mind but Eddie’s words about her having a family someday stuck with me.

“Are you on the pill?”

She shakes her head.

“I don’t want anything between us, Faith, but we have so much ahead of us. I just got you and I’m not ready to share you.”

She’s propped up on her elbows leaning up. “What are you trying to say?”

“I’m saying, I don’t want to wear a condom, but I don’t want to get you pregnant just yet. I definitely don’t want to share these.” I rub her breasts over the lace material and one of her nipples pops out. Taking full advantage, I pay special attention to the dusty rose peak.

Our conversation is forgotten for now and her hands are back in my hair as I work on getting her out of the corset. “How many clasps does this bastard have,” I growl, growing frustrated.

Faith throws her head back laughing at me.

“You think this is funny?”

Holding up her thumb and forefinger she grins. “Just a little.”

“Just a little,” I mock, jumping onto the bed with her and covering her body with mine.

I groan against her lips as I claim them. “This isn’t going how I planned.”

“Hey, look at me,” my wife, (I really love saying it in my head) demands.

“What?” I pout.

“I don’t need perfect, Darin. I only need you. So, stop trying so hard and let things happen. Let me take care of you.” She waggles her brows as I fall over lying next to her. She gets up and removes my shoes. “Nothing about us has ever been perfect, has it?”
