My Hot Professor: A Steamy Older Man Younger Woman Romance by Madison, Mia (1)

Olivia

I 'm done. My mom says I can't stay in a -

I crumpled up the note and tossed it into the overflowing trash without a backward glance. Of all the university roommates I had over the years, Tiffany had to be the worst. She never did her share of the cleaning and she complained about everything .

"Those bugs just ran under the stove… None of the hallway lights are working… That neighbor is peeing in the hallway again !"

Seriously, what the hell did she expect for what she was paying in rent? Still, it was something, and without her share, I would have to choose between eating and making rent this month .

With a wistful sigh, I slid the package of Pop-Tarts off the counter and tossed it back in the box for later. I straightened my back and put my game face on. I needed a plan to get out of this mess .

First up, I needed to post for a new roommate. It's not that it was hard finding someone looking for a place to stay, this was Boston, the University mecca of the world. You couldn't throw a textbook without hitting someone looking to ditch their insane roommate. The not-so-easy part was figuring out which was actually the sane one .

I picked up my phone to log on to the University message board and saw the time, "Oh shit! I'm gonna be late !"

Damn Tiffany and her drama, when I talked to her last night she agreed to let me hitch a ride to class. If I had known she was going to bail on me, I would have gotten up earlier .

Thankfully I had already taken a shower, so I quickly reached into the closet and put on the first thing I grabbed. The light pink sweater and leggings combo wasn't what I would usually wear to school, but it was a few days past laundry day and I was in a rush .

I pulled my long hair into a quick ponytail and then wrapped it into an even quicker bun. It had that messy feel that looks like you just came from the beach even though I hadn't seen the beach in forever. One day, I told myself. One day, I would spend an entire year at the beach .

I didn't have time for anything more, so I grabbed my macrame book bag and flung it over my shoulder as I bolted out the door. One of the perks of my apartment was direct access to a bus stop that went straight to the University - the downfall was that it didn't run that often. If you missed it you were in for a long commute or an expensive taxi ride. At the moment, I didn't have the time or the money for either .

I ran out of the building and almost tripped my way down the cobblestone stairway. With an awkward skip and a half twist, I managed to stay upright and jumped onto the bus with seconds to spare .

"Hey Olivia," the bus driver called out with an easy laugh, "slick dance moves ."

"Thanks, Sam," I laughed back as I swiped my card in the kiosk, "I missed my calling as a disco queen ."

"Never say never," he cackled as I moved back to grab a seat, "If you dream it, do it !"

I dropped into an empty seat as Sam belted out the lyrics to Dancing Queen. A few years ago I would have been mortified by the exchange, but as I looked around the bus, I saw a bunch of regulars smiling and bopping their heads to the off-key music. With a dramatic swish of my hands, I reached into my bag and pulled out some light reading to get me through the trip. I heard Sam break into a laugh before returning to his song and I smiled. Even when it was shitty, life could be good .

I started flipping through my binder and suddenly realized what day it was. Life wasn't good, it was fucking fantastic .

It was Nate day .

Nate, or rather, Professor Nate Dalton was the most jaw-droppingly gorgeous man I had ever seen in my entire life. He was the kind of guy who didn't just leave you tongue-tied, but drooling in his presence. He had the face of a Greek god and a body that would put any of them to shame. Tall, with this wicked smile whenever someone cracked a joke. If I had a chance with him, I would hand over my V card in a second. In fact, I would hand over the whole deck .

He was the kind of guy that you couldn't stop looking at. When I was in his class I tried my best to keep my mind on my studies, but he had these piercingly blue eyes that just sort of cut right through you and melted you to the core. More than once I caught him staring at me - I'm sure not for the same reason I stare at him - but that didn't stop the butterflies in my stomach from acting up anyway .

And today he was all mine .

Well, not all mine, but kind of mine - for a short time at least .

It all started at the end of last year when Nate gathered a group of students together for a late-night study group. When I tell you that a couple of girls swooned when the phrase late-night was mentioned, I'm not exaggerating. It's all on the up and up, we meet to go over merger and acquisition case studies for multinational corporations in an effort to define upcoming opportunities for underserved communities .

Ok, really, we scarf down pizza and I stare at Nate's ass .

But the best part comes after group when he drives me home. Since the bus doesn't run late at night, he kindly offered up his services when needed. I just wish his services extended for more than just a ride home .

As far as I'm concerned, the private time we spend together is like heaven in an Audi. Every week I slide into the bucket seat and pray we run out of gas somewhere private. That hasn't happened yet, but I've played out every scenario so I'm ready for when it does .

I looked down at what I was wearing and rued the day I ever met Tiffany. I would never have dressed so sloppily on Nate day if she hadn't screwed me over. It's not like he wouldn't drive me home because of my clothes, but in most of my scenarios, I'm wearing something sexy that impresses him to the point where he drops everything to be with me. I guess I just had to come up with another scenario .

The bus jolted to a stop and abruptly pulled me out of my latest Nate-inspired fantasy. I looked up to curse Sam for the bumpy ride and saw we were at my stop. A quick glance at his smirk made my cheeks flame. I picked up my bag and ran for the door with a quick wave towards the front of the bus .

I could still hear him laughing as I ran into the building .
