Ridin' Nerdy by Annelise Reynolds (10)

Chapter Eleven

Leah

Holy shit! Forget going to the fucking bar; after those mind-blowing orgasms I just wanted to go home and do it again. Maybe I should have searched for a nerd sooner. William Carver gave me one of those toe-curling, calf-stretching, back-arching orgasms that had you crying out for more at the same time your body felt depleted of all strength.

He let my legs down but kept a hold of me to keep me from falling over. When I got my bearings, he used his body wash to wipe the cum from my stomach, and the sweat from my body. His hands massaged my breasts as he washed me. He took the smaller towel and cleaned between my legs, the terry cloth roughly abrading my clit.

Will’s lips lightly kissed mine, his tongue lining the outline of my lips, then nipping at my lower lip. I leaned my head back as I rode his fingers to yet another amazing climax.

“No more,” I shuddered. “I can’t take any more.” Oh, but I wanted more. He had awoken a hunger within me that was insatiable.

“You can, but not tonight. We need to get out of here, but next time, you won’t be getting off so easy.”

‘Getting off so easy,’ what the hell did he mean by that? My legs were stiff and my pussy ached deliciously from the fucking he gave me. What more could he have done? The question inspired curiosity and disbelief.

“If it gets any better, Will, you’d kill me.” He smiled down at me and planted a quick no nonsense kiss on my swollen lips.

“Get dressed, Leah.” I didn’t expect for him to swat my ass, and the fact that we were wet made it sting just a bit more. He threw me yet again. Ass slapping is something the guys at the club did, nerds didn’t slap asses, or did they? Every time I thought I’d got a read on this guy, he did something surprising, threw me for another loop. He kept me off balance, but call me a glutton for punishment or drunk on lust, I don’t know which, but I loved the way he kept throwing me curveballs.

I wrapped a towel around myself and went back into the locker room. There wasn’t anyone in there, besides us, so I grabbed my clothes, and just dried off in the open with Will. His eyes strayed to me several times, and I can’t say mine didn’t also stray back to him.

“Where’re we headed?” he asked when I finished dressing.

“I was going to take you to the bar my dad’s club typically hangs out at, but I’m not so sure that’s a good idea. If Jerry said anything, or if anybody else found out about us fucking in the men’s locker room, I’d never hear the end of it. Is there somewhere you want to go?”

“Yes.”

I waited for him to expound on that, but he didn’t.

“Are you really going to make me ask?” I put my hands on my hips and tried to glare up at him.

“No.” He slipped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. “I’m going to make you beg.”

He kissed me one more time, then led me out of the locker room. The gym was empty now, Jerry must have run everybody out. I would have to give him a discount on next month’s membership fees for covering my ass. That is if he kept his mouth shut.

We walked out of the gym together after he helped me secure the place. I expected him to go all caveman like the guys at the club would have, but he didn’t. We rode side by side. Will would gesture where to turn, and it was like we’d been riding together for years.

He didn’t head toward his house, and it sure as shit wasn’t toward mine, so I was clueless as to where he was leading me. All I knew was we were headed in the direction of the lake. He took me into a large neighborhood that had homes that weren’t nearly as extravagant as the one his parents lived in now. They were middle class and upper middle class homes, gorgeous, but I had no idea why we were headed this way.

Will pulled into a driveway, and the garage door opened. Where the hell were we? Why were we here? I watched as he pulled his bike inside, but I refused to go in until he told me whose house this was.

He reached up, his arms hitting the top of the garage door frame. “You coming?”

“If you tell me where we are I might.”

“Good girl.” He grinned at me. “We are at my house.”

“Your house?” Why did he live above his parents’ garage if he had his own home? I moved my bike into the garage next to his, then killed the motor.

“Come on, I’ll call for some dinner.”

He led me into the house, and I looked around at the modest interior. The kitchen was mid renovation; the living room had two recliners and a TV, but other than that, nothing. I poked my head inside what was supposed to be the formal dining room, but it was empty. There wasn’t even carpet, just concrete floors.

I heard him on the phone, his voice carrying through the house easily with all the exposed hard surfaces. When he came back into the room, I turned toward him. “So, how long have you been renovating?”

“A while. I only get a little done at a time. I could hire it out, but I want to do the work myself.”

“You’re a lawyer, you build bikes, and you renovate houses… What don’t you do?” I shook my head, not really believing him.

“I bought this house six years ago, it was a dump. The roof needed fixing, there was water damage, it was basically a complete gut job.” He ran his hand over the wall. “I took her down to the studs. Six months after I bought the house, Mom had her accident and I moved back home. I still work on the weekends when I can, but between my heavy load at the firm, Mom, and everything else, I don’t get much done.”

I moved to a recliner and sat down. He sat down beside me. “What happened to your mom?”

“A drunk driver ran a red light, and Mom’s airbag didn’t deploy. She’d been telling me that her light was on in her car, but I had been too busy to check on it. I was trying to get the house done and working. Her head hit the steering wheel and the window with each roll of the car.” Guilt and sadness crossed his face, and I realized he held himself responsible.

“You know it’s not your fault, right?” I asked, reaching out to touch his arm.

“On one level, yes, I know that, but then there is that other level that says otherwise. If I had gotten her car fixed, maybe her airbag would have deployed and saved her vision at the very least.”

“There’s only one level, Will. It wasn’t your fault.”

“Guess we will never know,” he said dismissively. “Anyway, the doctors said she had a traumatic brain injury. Only time would tell if her vision would come back – it didn’t. I’ve been above my parents’ garage for five years now.”

“So, why haven’t you sold this place then? You’re paying for a home you aren’t living in.”

The ringing of the doorbell brought the conversation to a stop. He got up and went to the door. The smell of Chinese food wafted from the bag when he came back to the living room.

“You know my dad would kick your ass if he knew you were eating this and this late at night?”

He grinned and winked at me as he pulled the cartons of food out of the bag. “No, he wouldn’t kick my ass for the food, he’d kick my ass for the way I’m planning to work the food off.”

I grabbed the fortune cookie and threw it at him. “Hey, I won’t share my steamed rice and veggies if you throw shit at me.”

“Oh my God, man. What a waste. You’re ordering Chinese food and you go for the steamed rice and vegetables. Seriously, I’m confiscating your man card, right now,” I joked with him. “At the very least you could have ordered beef and broccoli or teriyaki chicken.”

“You’re taking my man card?” He looked at me with an evil gleam in his eyes.

“I kinda have to. You’ve really left me with no choice.”

“Eat, Leah. You’re going to need all the energy you can get.”

Since he didn’t have a kitchen, we just passed the containers back and forth, each of us eating a little bit of rice and vegetables at a time. He guided the conversation away from anything heavy.

I really enjoyed talking to him; he was funny and charming. He told me that he liked doing things with his hands more than sitting behind a desk.

“What about you?” he asked me. “What would you rather be doing than working at the gym?”

“I actually really love the gym.” I shrugged. “I grew up there. It’s a second home. There are things I’d love to do with it, that I’m not sure my dad would go for, but the gym is what I love. I can’t imagine doing anything else. Plus, since I love to eat horrible, working at the gym comes in handy.”

“Have you talked to your dad about it?”

“No. Not really a point when he wants to just focus on boxing. I just think there are so many more people out there that would benefit from us expanding a bit, but nowadays there aren’t a whole lot of mom and pop gyms floating around. It’s all commercial.”

“So, what do you want to offer that commercial gyms don’t?”

“For one, self-defense classes for women. What better place to learn how to defend yourself than a gym that specializes in fighting and defensive moves?”

“That sounds like it would be a positive change. Why haven’t you talked to your dad about it?”

I laughed sardonically. “Besides me, how many women have you seen in that gym?”

“None.” He smiled back. “So, change it. It’s going to be your gym one day, right? You should have a say in what path it goes down.”

“It’s been Meatheads forever. Do you see women going into a gym named Meatheads?”

“Ok, so start your own gym. Make something for you.”

“It’s not that easy, Will. You’re a lawyer, you know how hard it is and the huge start-up costs I’d have to start something like that up.”

“No, it wouldn’t be easy, and there would be a mountain of start-up costs, but you could do it.”

“I think you are seriously overestimating my abilities and my bank account.”

“No, you’re underestimating yourself.” He stood up and gathered the mostly empty boxes, taking them into the kitchen. I followed behind and grabbed a bottle of water from the mini fridge that was in there.

Will moved at an unhurried pace. His calm demeanor was soothing, and yet something about him kept me enthralled and engaged. It was like I was on a live wire, but content to be there. The buzz he gave me was unlike anything alcohol or drugs could ever achieve.

I thought about the outfit still in my saddle bags; it was kind of a waste. Maybe I shouldn’t have gone into the locker room, but at that moment it seemed like the best idea ever. Though if I were completely honest, there is no way in hell I could regret those orgasms – no, it just made me greedy for more.

“Can I see the rest of your house?” I wanted to look, but mainly, I just wanted to get to his bedroom. I assumed he had one and it was somewhat furnished if he stayed here at all on the weekends.

He took me through the modest home. The upstairs had three bedrooms and two bathrooms all of which were still ripped out down to the studs. When Will talked about the house, his voice was laced with excitement. It was clear he loved this place, it was his and it was home.

Will led me back downstairs to the hall off the living room. It was the only finished room in the home. The dark wood flooring was gorgeous. The walls were a soft gray with crown molding; the ceiling fan matched the dark wood floors. The bed was wrought iron; the bedding was a black and gray pinstripe. There wasn’t much else in the room. He had a basket of clothes folded in the corner, but that was about it. I went into the connected bathroom. I was impressed; everything just flowed, with the same coloring. The black and gray was continued in the countertops, and the shower wall. I’ve never seen a shower with so many heads, it seemed big enough to fit my whole bedroom in. There was a separate Jacuzzi tub that looked inviting as hell.

“You did all this?” I looked around in awe. It was stunning; something straight out of a magazine.

“Most all of it. I let professionals put in the plumbing and electrical work. The counters were put in professionally, but I did the tile work, the painting, and the picking everything out.” He shrugged like it was nothing.

“It’s incredible. Where do you find the time?”

“Sadly, I don’t anymore. That’s why so much of the house is still undone. I may just have to hire the work out and give up on doing it myself.”

“It’s a beautiful home. How close to the lake are you?”

He took my hand and pulled me to the living room. When he flipped on the lights, I saw the lake was right in his backyard. There was a small dock that went out over the water, and off to the side a large shed that looked brand new and matched the colors of the house.

“This is gorgeous.”

“Yeah, I got lucky the owners didn’t take care of it and it went into foreclosure.”

“After you fix it all up, are you planning to live in it or sell it?”

“Well, my original plan was to live in it. My grandpa taught me how to fish on this lake, and many memories were made at Lake Side Park, but since Mom’s accident, I haven’t done anything with it.”

“Can I ask you something?” I was hesitant to go here, but I really wanted to know the answer.

“Shoot.”

“What’s up with your dad?”

The hard look on his face, the clenched jaw, and the anger barely banked in his eyes said it was bad and Will didn’t look ready to forgive his Dad for whatever it was he had done.

“The night of my mother’s accident when she was pinned beneath her fucking car, my dad was busy pinning down another woman. He should have been home. Mom was only out because she was driving to take him dinner at work because he was staying late, again. She felt bad for him, so she’d taken him something special for dinner. Instead, she found him going at it with another woman on a conference table.”

Anger was rolling off him in waves. It was palpable. “And she’s still with him?” I asked, trying to soothe, but not really knowing how I could.

“Yeah. I don’t know if she’s with him because she’s blind or because she truly forgave him. All I know is that after the accident I moved into the garage apartment. I couldn’t live in the house with him, but I didn’t want to be too far from Mom while she was going through everything.” His jaw was clenched, and he growled low in his throat. His fingers raked through his hair. “Can you fucking imagine? One of the last things she was ever able to see was her husband on top of another woman.”

“No, I can’t imagine.”

“I hate cheaters, and I hate liars. It’s why I never should have touched you.”

I stepped away from him. “What the hell? I’ve never lied to you.”

“I wasn’t talking about you, Leah. If you are smart, you will get as far away from me as possible.”

“You’re calling yourself a liar and a cheater? Why?”

“A liar, not a cheater, and I can’t tell you why. All I can tell you, is that this,” he motioned between us, “this will end badly. You will hate me in the end, and I wouldn’t blame you a bit.”
