Thirty-Three
Sage
The fucking woman has me twisted into a million knots, and they ain’t loose ones either. I’m wound tighter than a rubber band and ready to fucking snap. She doesn’t know how sexy she is as she sashays in front of me in the chow line, her hips swinging from side to side, that long blonde hair of hers swishing with every move she makes. I’m lost. Fucking hypnotized by the show her ass is putting on for me right now.
“Sage? The fuck, brother?” A hard hit comes down onto my shoulder, jolting me out of my daydream of spreading those ass cheeks and—
“You might want to bring your eyes up. Everyone can see what you are looking at. Probably see the small dribble of drool coming from the corner of your mouth too.” My head snaps Ringer’s way, and I level him with a scowl.
“Fuck off.”
“What’s going on? Don’t think I didn’t notice you two came in here together from the fucking cabin.” He words are slightly hushed, but still loud enough for prying ears.
“Nothin’. Was just…” The fuck was I doing with her? Oh yeah, fucking her. “She’s staying in the cabin now. I was checking on her. Making sure she didn’t run off.” I shrug and try to brush past him to get my place back in line, but Brook has gone off and left me while Ringer agitates my fucking ear further.
“That what you were doing last night when I saw you take off after her? I know damn well you didn’t come back ‘til this mornin’. The brothers aren’t going to be very happy if they find out.”
“You think I don’t know that? Fuck. Mind your own business, Ringer,” I snap, then stomp off before he can say another word.
I quickly grab a plate, all the while keeping my eye trained on Brook, who’s sitting with the girls now, along with Bex, who seems to not be able to take her glare off me. What a clusterfuck. I catch the instant she knows why I didn’t let her in my room. Bex’s gaze darts to me, then Brook—who I can’t take my eyes off of—then back to me, the gears slowly clicking into place. Then she’s up and out of her seat, storming out of the common room like the hounds of hell are chasing her.
“Fuck,” I mutter to myself and follow her out, double-checking to make sure Brook doesn’t see me leave behind her.
“Bex, wait up,” I call out as she continues her path down the hall to her room…well, the girls’ room. They don’t each have a room because they normally occupy someone’s bed each night, but on the rare occasion they don’t, they have their own room.
“You’re screwing her. Are you kidding me, Sage? She’s half your age!” she all but yells in my face as we enter the room. Piles upon piles of clothes are stacked everywhere—the dresser, inside the closet, on the two beds that occupy the room. Each and every pile more sparkly than the last. Chicks and their bling.
“Keep it down. Shit.”
“Oh, I’m sorry, is no one supposed to know you are sleeping with Gin’s daughter? Oh my god, they are going to kill you,” she gasps, covering her mouth.
“Don’t be so dramatic. They aren’t going to kill me. Probably just beat me within an inch of my life, but I’ll recover.”
“I can’t believe this.” She shakes her head, running her hands through her hair. “You’re…what? Suddenly in love? You can’t be serious.”
“I’m serious. Maybe not in love, but close enough,” I admit, surprising her and myself.
“I never thought I would see the day. Jesus,” she whispers, dropping her hands to her sides.
“Can I count on you to keep quiet until I have to time to break it to everyone? There’s too much going on right now. I can’t do it yet.”
She nods. “Fine. But if I catch any flak from this, I’m coming after you.”
“I got ya. And hey, make sure Jasmine knows too. I don’t need her coming to my room and pissing Brook off.”
“Yeah, will do.” Bex shakes her head and goes about tidying up the room as if it would help. There are just too many clothes.
“You girls could open up a damn store with all this shit.” This gets a snort from her.
“You bought half the stuff.”
“This is what you spent all the money on? Clothes? Shit, I gave you girls money for doing my laundry thinking I was doing you a favor. I thought maybe you were saving up for a place of your own or something, not buying out the town of its sequins.”
“Please, like you didn’t enjoy it every time we get a new outfit. Who do you think we got them for? Who is going to aid in our shopping habit now?”
“Try College. He likes to spend his money on flashy shit.” I laugh, thinking of the stupid yellow cage he drives.
“Not a chance. He’s a penny pincher.” She rolls her eyes.
“Whatever you choose to do, I’m sure you’ll be fine.”
She gives a smile and steps closer to me, abandoning the clothes. “I’ll miss climbing into your bed,” she tells me as she wraps her arms around my neck, raking her nails over the buzzed hair on the back of my head, like she’s done many times before. “And…other things.” She bites her lip suggestively and flicks her gaze down to my cock where I do a great job at keeping the fucker under control. “You know we never got a goodbye fuck. That seems a little unfair to me,” she pouts, and I shoot her a smirk.
“You poor thing,” I mock.
“What about you? I’m guessing your new girl isn’t going to want to share you with anyone. How are you going to be able to cope with that? With not being able to have two women at once?”
“I think I’ll manage. She’s enough for me, Bex. Goin’ to have to live with it.” I reach up to remove her hands from around my neck. “See you ‘round, babe.” I wink before turning from her to leave the room. A flash of blonde hair catches my sight as I pull open the door, but when I step out into the hall, it’s empty.
Shit.
