CHAPTER 8

 

Anna had never wanted a man this much before. The feeling both scared and excited her. If Cayden could make all but beg with a few kisses and slight touches what would he do if she allowed him into her bed?

Anna relished the feel of the cold wall at her back and Cayden’s warm body pressing into her front. She felt his hands travel over her back side and was stunned as he pulled her legs up around his waist.

His hard cock was pressing into her core, re-igniting the fire he had started in the limo. Feeling bold Anna pressed down against it as she scraped her nails down his back through his jacket.

Cayden growled into her mouth as he took her arms and pinned them above her head. “If you touch me now I’m going to lose it.”

Somewhere in the recesses of her mind, she knew this was wrong but she couldn’t stop. She wanted this, she wanted him.

Cayden carried her to the bed gently laying her down in the centre. His eyes hungrily travelled over her as Anna noticed the bulge in his pants.

He took off his jacket and briskly unbuttoned his shirt before pulling it off. His torso was beautifully sculpted, each muscle defined. Anna’s eyes hungrily followed his fingers as he first undid his belt, and then button and the zip. He kicked of his shoes and stepped out of his pants. A grin spread across his face as he stripped for her.

He stood in front of her wearing only his briefs. Anna felt her head spin at the sight of his body. His thighs were thick with muscles; Anna couldn’t wait to have them between her legs.

The arrogant smile that had become as much a part of her day as her coffee smiled down at her as he moved towards her.

“We’re about to step over this line completely Anna, you wanna stop you speak now.”

Anna smiled at him seductively, “and why would I want to stop when I can’t wait to start.”

His weight settled next to her on the bed. “I thought we’d already started.” He said smugly as he started to undo the buttons of her jacket.

Anna giggled. “My turn,” she said pushing off the bed.

With her eyes a darker shade of blue from desire she watched him as she slowly undressed. His eyes hungrily followed every moved until she was standing in front of him in just her bra and panties.

“Leave that.” He demanded gruffly. Anna obeyed and moved to him.

He pulled her on top of him, her heat against his manhood. He devoured her mouth and had just started on her neck when he flipped her over.

Anna lie on the bed, face down, and closed her eyes as she felt his hands start to trail over her back. He unlatched her bra and followed the line of her spine with hot moist kisses.

Hot and ready Anna looked at Cayden from under lowered lids. His eyes were dark with desire as he pulled off his briefs. His arousal stood proud and thick. Anna’s eyes hungrily trailed over the sight before pulling him towards her.

“Anna, shit! I don’t have protection.”

Anna giggled and shimmied from underneath him. “My purse.” Giddy with excitement she ran naked to fetch her purse and withdrew the foil packet.

Cayden took it from her and placed it on the bedside table.

Anna joined him on the bed again and he moved over her, taking his time to kiss and explore all of her. He sucked and nipped a taut nipple before giving the same attention to the other nipple.

Anna felt herself race up the cliff towards the edge as Cayden’s lips moved down over her torso.

She felt his hot breath on her moist curls before his tongue slid between her folds. He licked her leisurely before finding her clit and focusing there.

His tongue flicked and circled her mercilessly, Anna felt herself dangling on the edge when he moved up her body again.

Anna grabbed the foil from the bedside table and tore it open with her teeth, watching Cayden.

“Fuck.” He gasped as Anna slid the condom on, her hands briefly massaging his balls.

As soon as he was fully sheathed he nudged her legs open and teased her entrance.

Anna nodded; she couldn’t wait a minute longer.

Cayden entered her with a hard thrust, until he reached his hilt.

Anna gasped at the delicious feeling of him inside her as her body accommodated him.

He started to move, without mercy pounding into her time and time again. Anna quickly found herself on the edge again.

“Cayden!” She called out as she felt herself spinning head first over the edge.

She felt her body shudder through her orgasm and heard Cayden grunt before he pumped into her. Her spasms milked him dry.

Cayden pushed off Anna, lying next to her. “Fuck!”

Anna giggled. “I agree.” She turned to see his eyes. They were bright with release and watching her intently.

Anna wanted to tell him it was the best sex she ever had, but forced herself to keep her cool, it was Cayden who spoke first.

“How about we get some food? I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a long night,” he said with a smug smile.

 

 

Anna woke alone. The sheets beside her were cool, the only evidence of their love making were the ripped foil packets on the bedside table and the delicious aching of her body. They had made love numerous times throughout the night, every time he had driven her higher, made her fall faster.

She sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes; she lazily opened them and noticed a note on the dresser. She got up and picked it up.

 

Plane leaves at 10am be ready at 9am. Cayden

 

Anna looked at the note confused. No mention of their night together, of the extreme intimacies they had shared.

Just a note from a boss to his assistant about their flight schedule. Regret washed over her like a rip tide. What did she do?

Last night she had offered every part of herself to Cayden, she had given him everything but her soul, only to wake up alone with an impersonal note.

Temper pushed its way through the regret as she showered and dressed for the flight home. By the time she went downstairs she had firmly decided Cayden Lee would never touch her again.

Until she saw him…

He stood in the foyer of the hotel, casually dressed with that arrogant grin, his eyes shining knowingly as he watched her walk towards him.

The memory of his touch brought a bright flush to Anna’s cheeks. How could he look at her like that after leaving her such an impersonal note?

“Anna,” he said stiffly and quickly broke eye contact.

“Cayden,” she said following suit.

“The limo’s waiting outside.” Without waiting for her answer he picked up his carry on and headed outside.

Anna followed him without a word.

As soon as they were settled in the limo, Cayden pressed the button for the privacy screen.

They sat in silence as the screen slowly went up. Once it reached the top Cayden turned to her.

“About last night…” He sighed and started again. “It can’t happen again. It was probably the greatest sex I’ve ever had, but we can’t let this influence our working relationship.”

Anna wanted to curse him, at least slap him, but she kept her composure. “Sure, it was fun.”

“So you agree we leave the fun behind in L.A?” He asked, his brown eyes now detached and cold.

Anna nodded briefly before turning away from him and looking out the window. Was it really that easy for him? Could he really spend the whole night in her bed, inside her and then just say it’s over?

Deep down Anna knew this was best. She couldn’t exactly start out her career as a personal assistant by having an affair with her boss, but then why did she feel so sad by the fact that he would never touch her again?

She kept herself busy with her phone the entire flight home. Every time she moved her muscles protested, a ruthless reminder of her night with Cayden. A ruthless reminder that it wouldn’t be repeated.

Anna had only been with two other men in her life, but none had lit her up like Cayden. Neither of them had sent her flying with multiple orgasms and neither of them had made her so hungry for their touch.

With Cayden a mere look or an arrogant grin had her blood coursing with desire. How was she going to remain detached around him every day?

How was she going to pretend he didn’t touch her, didn’t drive her over the edge, and didn’t make her crazy for him?

Anna didn’t have the answers and decided to focus on her job instead. With an action plan well thought out, she hid all memories of her night with Cayden under a thin veil of pride for self-preservation.
