The Devils Fighter (The Devils Soldiers mc) by Cilla Lee (5)

Scythe

I took Cookies advice and went over to Colt’s for Niya help, to say I was shocked when I got there was an understatement. The house was a cute country style house with shutters, wrap around porch on a large plot of land. I could see myself sittin’ on the front porch, feet up on the balcony drinkin’ a beer. I'm defiantly lookin’ into buyin’ a house, the front door opens, and Niya walks out Logan next to her, then another Niya walks out, and I'm taken back, no one mentioned she had a twin.

“Hey Niya,” I say to both women, not sure which one is Colt's Niya.

“Hi Scythe is there a problem,” the one on the left asks, but I just shake my head at her.

“Nah darlin’ Cookie said you'd be able to help me out with a problem.”

“Me!... help you with what?”

“I want the club to buy into a gym slash boxing club and was wonderin’ if you could help me sort out a business plan.”

“Well, if you’re interested in a gym, the guy who owns the gym I go is lookin’ to sell.”

“You serious!” she nods her head.

“I could call over to get his information for you, and we could go from there” I smile at her.

“Thanks, darlin’ that sounds great.”

“Come on in and let me give the gym a call.”

As we sit at the table both women sit across from me “Would you like a drink,” she asks, but I shake my head lookin' at the other Niya.

“Oh, I'm so sorry, Scythe this is Zoey, my little sister.”

“Little sister you’re not twins” they both laugh.

“No, Zoey is four years younger than me” I look at Zoey but see no difference.

“You sure you’re not twins, cause fuck you’re identical” they both roll their eye it seems they've heard that before.

We spent the next two weeks together, meeting with the owner of the gym and goin’ over figures. We'd researched competitors, went over financials profit margins summaries building a strategy and operating plan. Projections charts sales and marketing, and by the end of the week I had a plan in place and an idea of what where when and how everything would work. Cookie wasn't lyin’ when he told me Niya was smart; even Zoey helped and I was fuckin’ grateful for their help.

Sittin’ in Church the next week my leg was bouncin’ a hundred miles an hour, my plan in hand waitin’ to bring it to the table. The business plan was solid and would make a tidy profit for the club. Once Razor calls the meetin’ to order he asks if we had any new business “Yeah boss got the business plan you wanted” I slide over the booklet Niya done up for me (very professional) I watch as he goes over the plan and then looks up a me.

“Explain it!” I stand up and go through all of the projects that Niya and I had worked out, the cost of things suppliers, advertising, and projections. All the guy havin’ a look at the folder as I talk.

“Yah or Nah Brothers, you all know it has to be unanimous” I watch as one by one all of my Brothers support me in the endeavor.

“Yay's have it Brother make it happen,” he tells me, and I smile.

“Thanks man, I won't let you down.”

“No, you fuckin’ won't,” Razor says as Cookie slaps me on the back smilin' at me.

It takes three months to get everything set up, and now I was standin’ here in a gym the club owned lookin’ up at a huge octagon ring “Brother, I can't believe you pulled this off” Cookie says, and I shake my head at him.

“No fuckin’ faith,” he laughs.

“Fuck no,” he says smilin’ at me even though he's been next to me the whole time supportin’ everything, him and Niya have been great. The first year while I was in jail I was pissed at myself for gettin' caught, but once I started takin' classes. I realized that there was more to life, I even thought of leavin' the club for a few weeks. But once I heard Razor was takin' the club down the legit route, I knew I needed to do something for myself and the club. I'd always loved a good fight and having had to do it to survive most of my life just seemed obvious.

“Fuck man Niya done good,” he says

“Yeah, she fuckin’ did.”

The gym already had a good set up, but we still made some changes. We added a women’s only sectioned, that was added by Razor because Maggie said all the girls where joinin’. As soon as it opened, he didn't want any motherfuckers starin’ at his woman, neither did any of the other brother's Tank tellin’ me that if Lena got hit on once, I was getting a punch in the face. Then another area was opened to everyone all the machines were serviced a new Jacuzzi and steam room were added. We also built a space for an octagon cage some of the brothers mostly Tank talkin’ about MMA and trainin’ fighters, something I hadn't thought of but the boys voted, so the cage was in. We'd had a few people approach us as we were still getting things set up, so we made sure we had all the right equipment for all kinds of fighters or gym members in general.

Niya was a great help even taking on the manager's role; she’d invested so much of herself that I knew she couldn't walk away. We added a kids’ playroom for women who wanted to work out, Tink Cuff and Socket helped designed the logo for the gym, and all of the Brothers helped with everything else.

“You excited for the openin’ tomorrow,” Nash asks me as I was sittin’ havin’ a beer.

“Yeah, man can't fuckin’ wait.”

“You've done good man,” he slaps me on the back smilin' as he walks off with Saffron under his arm.
