Adrianna Valdez POV

I sighed, feeling extremely comfortable and turned around. My eyes opened to see Damien’s face in front of me before closing them again.

Wait, what? Damien’s face? My eyes snapped open as my body began to be more aware of a heavy item draped around my waist and hugging me tightly.

I blinked once to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. Damien is in my bed, sleeping beside me. I took the time to study him. He really was gorgeous with his aristocratic nose, full black eyelashes, a distinct jaw, tanned golden skin and stubble covering his jaw.

My eyes dipped down to his shoulders when I realized he was bare chested. Oh, sweet gods, he had a very muscular chest with the same golden skin. His muscles were very well defined.

He was way more beautiful than Jake.

My eyes widened at that thought, and I frowned in annoyance. I was pretty sure I had gone to bed alone last night. I grimaced, and from a fit of impulse, I pushed him off my bed, and he landed on the wooden floor with a loud thump.

“Ow!” I peered down to see a scowling and pouting Damien. “What is this for, darling?”

“Who gave you permission to be in my bedroom and sleep in my bed?” I demanded, trying to ignore how sexy he looked with his hair tousled from sleep.

“Hmm, I was merely curious about how you looked like sleeping. And I am glad I am if I get to see this every morning.” His eyes raked my body sensually, and I gulped from the hot sensation of his gaze on me.

I glanced down at my clothes and gasped. I was wearing one of my most indecent sleepwear. It was a peach-colored silk nightdress that reached mid-thigh and was kind of low cut. I grabbed the covers and covered myself with them. “Get out… now!”

Damien stood up, and my eyes gazed at his body with his boxers on. I frowned. His boxers were very unusual. They had a large object in the front. My eyes widened! He had a hard on! Immediately I flushed and turned my gaze away.

Damien’s weight on my bed drew my attention away from his boxers as he climbed on top of me. “What if I don’t want to, hmm?” He smirked as his face inched nearer to mine.

Oh god, I know where this is going.

“I-I-I… um,” I stammered and moaned as his wicked mouth planted kisses on the curve on my neck.

His hands started moving on my waist as he slowly lifted my nightdress up. His mouth was pressed against mine sensually as his hands caressed my exposed shoulders and the skin on my thighs. I’ve never felt so feverishly hot in my life.

I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer until I could feel his erection against my thighs. Oh, gods, he felt huge.

My hands drifted to his silky black hair, and I loved the feeling of running my hands through them.

“Adrianna dear, are you awake? It’s Laura!” I stiffened and pushed Damien off me.

“Wha—?”

“Shut up!” I hissed at him. My lips felt swollen from his kisses.

“Adrianna?”

I gulped. “Oh, I’m sorry, Laura. Just hang on for a minute!” I said loudly. “Hide!” I mouthed towards Damien who raised an eyebrow, clearly not listening to me, his eyes glued to my chest. Damn, the stupid nightdress!

“Damien!” I snapped quietly as I grabbed some decent clothing. He sighed and stood up, and I pushed him into my wardrobe and shut the doors in his face.

I hurriedly pulled off the nightdress and donned my pair of jeans and a silk blouse.

I opened the door to see Laura grinning at me. “Hey Laura, I apologize for taking so long. I was slightly occupied in the bathroom.”

She smiled at me. “It’s fine. I’m sorry. I must have woken you up. Anyway, come let's go see what clothes you have so you can impress Kaden!”

My eyes widened. Damien was in my wardrobe! “Oh! Laura, I’m not interested in impressing him. Besides if he really is, he’ll admire me with whatever I am wearing.”

Laura studied me and sighed happily. “Oh, darling, you’re right. I’ll see you downstairs.”

I forced a smile. “Sure.” Laura grinned happily. “Of course.” With that, she walked off happily.

I let out a breath. Talk about awkward. Imagine being caught making out with her son in my bed by Laura was awful.

I sighed and opened my wardrobe door to see Damien scowling at me. “You’re going to see this Kayden guy wearing that?”

I rolled my eyes and grabbed my favorite heels. Sometimes, I swear, Damien had bipolar issues. “What is wrong with what I am wearing?” I demanded.

Damien stepped out of my wardrobe and crossed his arms, head turned away and nose in the air. His domineering posture taking place, a haughty look on his face. “I don’t like it. It’s too revealing.”

I rolled my eyes. “I don’t give a crap what you like. Get out of my room. I have to meet your mother, and when I get back, we will have a lengthy discussion on the phone on personal space and boundaries.”

Just to be sure, I glanced at myself in the mirror. Revealing? How was wearing blue skinny jeans, black heels and a white silk blouse this decent revealing?

Men. I rolled my eyes before snapping at Damien. “Out! Get out!” He sulked before walking out with me following him.

I closed my bedroom door before glaring at him and rushed down to meet Laura.

“Having some trouble? You took quite a while,” Laura questioned. I shook my head. “No just a pesky fly that is quite hard to get rid of.”

Laura nodded her head with amusement in her eyes. “Well, let’s go. I do hope you’ll like Kaden. He’s a sweetheart, and I think you’ll be perfect for each other.”

I smiled weakly. I didn’t want to be matchmade with some guy I didn’t know. However, I didn’t have the heart to tell Laura I was not interested. She was so excited as she hummed a wedding march which was I think too early for that matter.

Kaden and I have not even met.

We pulled up to an Italian restaurant, and a guy greeted us. “Hello, Laura.”

Laura grinned happily and pressed a kiss to his cheek. “Oh, darling Kaden. You’ve really grown! How’s Talia? Is she doing fine? From the last phone call, it didn’t seem so.”

Kaden laughed. “Yeah, mom’s fine, just freaking out about a dog. Oh, who’s this?” His green eyes shifted to me, and I grinned awkwardly.

“I’m Adrianna. It’s nice to meet you.” Kaden grinned at me.

He was pretty cute, I guess, not breathtakingly gorgeous like Damien. He had really nice blonde hair and green eyes. I can see why Olivia thought he was pretty hot. But it was clear that she was teasing Drake.

“It’s nice to meet you. I’m Kaden.” He grinned at me and kissed my hand. A flashback of Damien doing the exact same thing flashed into my mind, and I grimaced.

“Well! Looks like we’re getting along quite nicely. Let’s order our foo— Oh, excuse me Kaitlyn is calling.” With that, she stood up and left the restaurant. “Well, this is awkward. So anyway, what do you do for a living?” Kaden grinned, and I laughed.

“I’m actually a kindergarten teacher, but I have taken a two-month leave as I have to help my friend with her son’s birthday party.”

“A teacher, huh? Thought you were a model or something. You’re beautiful.”

I flushed and laughed. “Sure. You’re an actor, aren’t you? My friend told me about you because I’m sorry I’ve never heard of you before.”

Kaden blinked, surprise marring his face. “Not to sound conceited or anything, forgive me if I do, you don’t know who I am?”

“I’m really sorry. I didn’t. I don’t watch television or movies often. I’m pretty busy, and I’m from Spain. So I don’t get to see any famous actors or such.”

Kaden grinned. “Wow. That’s refreshing.”

I smiled weakly and took a sip of my water as Laura came back grinning happily as if she had received the greatest news ever.

Okay, this was getting awkward. It was clear Kaden was interested, but I was not. I didn’t find him attractive like Damien was, especially when Damien had sexy bed hair before he wakes up.

“Adrianna dear, you seem quite flushed. Would you want to go to the ladies?” I snapped out of my thoughts and glanced at Laura.

“Oh sure. Of course, excuse me.” I walked steadily to the washroom and thank goodness it was empty.

I peered into the mirror. Laura was right! I was flushed, most probably from thinking about kissing Damien. I grabbed some paper towels and bent over the sink to wet my cheeks to cool myself down.

When I looked up, I jumped in fright. “What are you doing here?” I said shocked.

Damien flashed a smile at me before shrugging. “What? Can’t I simply visit a restaurant to dine?” He said shrugging as he slid his sunglasses on his head.

I blinked. “No, I mean, what are you doing here in the female washroom?”

Damien blinked before grinning. “Oh, that. Kidnapping you.” Wait, what? He smirked at me, picked me up like a sack of potatoes and walked out.

Oh no! Not this again. “Damien, put me down this instant! I don’t want anyone to see this especially your mother.” I snapped as I hit his back. He responded by holding me even tighter with his hands holding my butt.

“Get your hands off my butt, you stupid idiot!” I pounded his back and hissed at him.

Damien simply ignored me before dropping me into his car parked at the back exit of the restaurant.

“Damien, let me out of this car right now! It’s incredibly rude to leave without telling Laura and Kaden.”

“My mother won’t mind and who cares about what the English man thinks?” Damien said arrogantly as he slid into the driver’s seat.

My hands fisted at the sides. “Damien, I’m serious. Let me out.”

“Damien, Damien, Damien… You seem to like saying my name a lot, don’t you, Adrianna mou?”

I flushed and gaped at him before shooting him a glare and turned away so I could ignore him.

This man is insufferably crazy.

Laura Doukas’s POV

I glanced at my watch. It has been fifteen minutes. Yes, Kaitlyn was right! Damien had come for Adrianna to take her away from Kaden before he could charm his lady.

Everything was going according to plan.

“Oh, dear. It seems Adrianna went home. She seems to be unwell,” I lied as I pretended to look at my phone at the non-existent message from Adrianna.

“Oh, I see. Maybe we could schedule another lunch date like this when she is feeling better.” Kaden frowned clearly disappointed.

I nodded my head. “Of course, Kaden. Well, excuse me. I have to go soon.”

Hopefully, Damien had taken Adrianna away to make my grandbabies.

We exchanged goodbyes, and I grinned cunningly. Oh, my Damien. I’ve got you where I want you to be. I smirked as I went back to the hotel to dish out the progress I had made to Kaitlyn and Olivia.
