Chapter 61
A buzzing sound drilled into Sarah’s skull. She recognized it. The morning alarm. She groaned as she opened her eyes and rolled to stop it. In the silence, she thought of what lay ahead of her that day––work at Glen Acres––it made her sigh. How she longed for the time when she could stay home and write.
And make love the way she had the night before.
The idea made her turn until she could see Charles. He’d slept through the alarm. She felt her mouth curl into a smile. He needed the sleep. She lifted a hand to his cheek. Her touch made him murmur. She moved her hand down to his bare chest and left it there.
He smiled and opened his eyes, “How’d you sleep?”
“Good.”
His eyebrows lifted, “Just ‘good?’ Damn, I need to lift my game.”
She giggled, “Your game is perfect.”
He chuckled and reached up to push a stray piece of her hair behind her ear.
She flashed him a seductive look, “Actually, how’d you feel about playing again?”
“I’d love it, but I should warn you . . . I play to win.”
She winked, “Me too.”
He grinned and slid himself closer to her. Their still naked bodies pressed together. The rough kiss he aimed on her mouth sent a soft shiver down her spine. She deepened the kiss and lifted a hand around his shoulder. As she flicked her tongue toward his, she felt his hand slide down to her chest.
His morning hardness pressed against her thigh.
Memories of him being inside her the previous night sent a wave of wanting through her. Keeping her mouth to his, she used her hand to explore the hardness in other parts of his body.
He pulled from their kiss then placed tiny, erotic kisses against her neck.
God. She never wanted this to end.
She lifted her leg to his waist and felt him push his groin as close to her as he could get without entering her.
He brought his mouth back to hers and coaxed her mouth open with his tongue. The slow flick of his tongue against hers increased her with desire.
She rubbed her hand up his back and held tightly to his back muscles.

He parted from her mouth and drew in a breath.
She smiled at the obvious ecstasy she was causing in him.
He captured her gaze, seized a bunch of her hair in a passionate action, and landed a hard, wanting kiss on her mouth.
She giggled, “You like me doing that?”
He groaned, “Mm-hmm.”
“Told you I play to win.”
He aimed a mischievous look at her, “I told you I do too.”
Before she had a chance to ponder his meaning, his hand trailed from her breasts, down her stomach . . . until his hand was between her legs.
He maintained eye contact with her as his fingers began searching. The next thing she knew, she felt one of his fingers slip inside.
She gasped at the erotic sensation, “Oh, God.”
He smiled, “You like that?”
“Yes. Don’t stop.”
He kissed her at the same time as he carried out all sorts of maneuvers with his finger and palm that she’d never experienced before. One final stroke and she knew she couldn’t wait any longer.
She panted, “Go inside me.”
He obeyed. She whimpered from the electricity that enveloped her, just like she had the night before.
He gripped her back and held their kiss. Their mutual motion soon increased her sensitivity. She could feel him hardening inside her and knew by his breaths that he was close to his peak.

Damn she feels good. He wanted to feel her better. He stopped and arranged their bodies until they were in a seated position. She realigned her legs around his waist as he sent short, sharp thrusts upward.
She closed her eyes. He did too.
He felt her angle her pelvis so it was closer to him. Soft moans drifted to his ears. She moved on top of him, adjusting the pace for her own pleasure. He grinned, liking that.

He continued the upward movements. Her head flung back. She let out a gasp and tugged at his hair. He licked a path from the top of her chest to her mouth. When he reached her mouth, he felt her reach her own peak.
