Willing: Book Three (Mystic Valley Shifters) by LC Taylor (23)

I paced, staring out the front window waiting for headlights to appear. They had been gone for over an hour, and still no word.

“Sit down, please… you’re giving me a headache,” Dylan threw a pillow at me.

“I can’t – it’s making me nuts not knowing anything,” just as I turned to sit down, headlights appeared in the driveway, “They’re back.”

“Haley!” Dylan stood, rushing towards the door.

“What is it? Did Jensen tell you something? Is someone hurt?”

“Calm down… He said they got Carter, but he’s injured. Help me get the door open. We need to get him on the couch.”

I rushed around her, snatching the door open just as Jensen emerged from the car. The back door opened, and Kai got out, looking broken, and covered in blood.

“Kai – Oh my god. You’re hurt!” I rushed down the steps towards her.

“It’s not mine. It’s Carters,” She pushed passed me, taking the steps two at a time.

Turning I saw Paul, pulling Carter’s unconscious body out, “Carly, can you get the door?”

Rushing around the back of the car, I pushed the door shut. Seeing Carter, I sucked in a breath, “Fuck, his leg… will he be ok?”

“I don’t know.” Paul hurried up the steps, me close behind him. Laying him on the couch, Haley looked at his injuries.

“I need Roxy – she’s upstairs, can someone go get her. I…. I can’t stop the bleeding.”

I turned, nearly killing myself as I bound up the steps. “Roxy!” I banged on her door, “They need you, downstairs.”

Roxy immerged from her room, “Did they find him?”

“Yes, and Haley can’t get the bleeding to stop.”

Grabbing me by the hand, she teleported us to the living room. The sensation left me dizzy, wobbling on my feet I nearly fell over. Paul moved quickly and steadied me.

“Sorry, I didn’t want to waste any time.”

Roxy had already begun to work her magic. As she was chanting, Haven and Stephanie walked in. Seeing Carter in this state, they joined Roxy in healing him.

“Baby – can you help?” Jensen nodded towards Carter’s still sleeping form.

“Ah – I shouldn’t I haven’t been feeling very good…” She looked away, trying to hide her face.

“He’s ok. We got the bleeding to stop. He will be ok – I just don’t know if we were able to reverse the damage Dante caused to his leg. He had crushed the bone. We won’t know anything for a few weeks.”

Dylan moved to stand by Jensen, he pulled her into a hug. Paul squeezed me tighter, dropping a kiss on my head.

“Will he wake up?” Kai walked out of the shadows, still covered in his blood.

“Kai – honey. You should go shower. He’s still resting and likely will not wake for several hours,” Cassandra looked at her daughter.

“Put him in my room. I want to make sure he is ok.” She said matter of fact, as she turned and melted into the dark hallway.

“Paul, can you help me move him?”

Paul broke from the hold we shared and helped ease Carter off the couch. Everyone else had already left, leaving me, Dylan, Jensen and Paul. They carefully carried him upstairs, placing him in Kai’s bed.

“Ok – we are going to head home. I need a shower.” Jensen stepped into the hallway, “From the smell of you… you need one too.”

Punching him in the shoulder, Paul smirked, “Well, good thing I am headed that way. See you in the morning.”

I took his hand, “Come on – I need to wash you.”

Dylan waved as they disappeared down the steps. We barely made it in the room, before I was shucking my clothes, “You should get undressed faster…” running into the bathroom, Paul chased me in, slamming the bathroom door behind him.

“So, you want to wash me, do you?”

“Yep,” trailing my finger down and cupping his hard member, “all of you.”

Paul reached behind me, turning on the water. It didn’t take long for the steam to fill the bathroom. He shucked his clothes and stood before me completely bare.

“Well, what are you waiting for?” his question filled with the hint of seduction. I didn’t need to be asked twice. I stripped naked and hopped into the falling waters. The warm water was soothing as it washed over me. Paul pressed himself behind me, his erect member pressing against my back.

I turned slowly, water trickling between my breast and smiled. His lips crashed into mine, breathless under the water I urged him forward with my hands.

Wrapping a leg around his hip, he ran his hand over the curve of my ass as he slowly backed me against the shower wall. With a gentle tug, he hoisted me up, allowing me to wrap both legs around his waist.

“Right here,” he licked the spot where my neck and shoulder met, “is where I want to make you mine.” He sucked the tender flesh, licking and biting as he did.

“Yes – Paul, PLEASE.” I begged him, coaxing him to make me his forever.

“Not yet baby… I need you together this weekend. Dylan will need you on your game. And one bite from me will leave you begging...” he rammed his hardened cock into me, “for more.”

His pace was slow and tender, but I needed… no, I wanted more. “Faster, please Paul. I need to feel you deeper.”

Like the ship seeking the lighthouse, he drove himself harder and deeper inside me. I could feel him in the very depths of my body.

There, in the shower, I screamed out his name as he drove himself in and out. My core tightened around his shaft, squeezing all that he had to give me. As I reached the height of my climax, Paul succumbed to the desire and pelted his seed inside me. Together we came undone.

“Jesus… that was –,” shaking his head against my shoulder, “Carly, you are amazing.”

I ran my fingers through his wet hair, the shower spraying against our tangled bodies. “I love you, Paul.”

He kissed me, turned off the water, and set me down, pulling himself out of my core as he did. I immediately felt a sense of loss. He was part of me, I understood now, what Dylan meant when she said Jensen was knitted to her soul. Paul was knitted to mine, I knew no matter what, I’d be willing to do anything for him.

We stepped from the warmth of the shower, Paul wrapping me in a towel. We stood, embraced in each other’s warmth.

“Let’s go get dressed and eat. I’m starved – plus, that was just the start of our weekend.” Paul smacked my butt as we walked into the bedroom.

“Ok – I need to check on the girls anyway. I wonder if Carter is doing any better.”

“We can go check together.”

Silently we dressed, both in a place of sheer bliss. Finally, I’d gotten what I wanted…Paul. And he had me, all of me.
