Willing: Book Three (Mystic Valley Shifters) by LC Taylor (24)

After checking on Carter, Paul went to check with the guys. He’d kissed me long, telling me he wouldn’t be long as the separation from me drove his wolf mad. Smiling I headed towards Dylan’s house.

Knocking on the door, “Dylan, you home?”

She pulled the door open, motioning me inside, “Hey.”

“Wow, you ok?”

“Just dealing with some sickness. Jensen thinks I have the flu, we had a little fight because he wants to postpone the wedding until I’m better,” she sighed, “I can’t tell him what’s really wrong with me.”

I stood wide-eyed, staring at Jensen who had come in behind me. Paul was staring back at me, the look of terror in his eyes.

“Fuck – he’s standing behind me, isn’t he?”

All I could do was nod. Dylan sighed, slowly turning to face Jensen.

“What do you mean, actually wrong with you. Dylan – what haven’t you told me?” Jensen stood, his arms folded across his chest, his voice loud and on the verge of yelling.

The commotion drew Kai and Cassandra from the main house, they stood at the bottom of the steps boring holes into Jensen’s back with their eyes.

“What the hell Jensen, why are you yelling?”

“Fuck – I… I wanted it to be a surprise. At the wedding. That’s why Carly helped me move it up so soon.”

“Wanted what to be a surprise? Dylan, you’re scaring my – my wolf has been on edge for weeks now. Telling me something is wrong with you. Please… just tell me.”

“Nothing’s wrong – just different.”

Cassandra pushed passed her son, stepping in front of Dylan. She laid a hand on her stomach, “Oh my God – I knew it!” She pulled her into a hug, squeezing her tight.

“Can someone PLEASE tell me what the hell is going on?” Jensen pushed his mom out of the way, taking her hands in his, “Dylan… what is happening. Baby please?”

“Jensen, I’m pregnant.”

Jensen stood, shell-shocked, a smile touching the edges of his mouth, “What?”

Dylan jerked her hands-free, turning towards me, “So much for surprising him. Everything is ruined. Just cancel everything, Carly.”

“No – Dylan, are you sure. We’re having a baby?” Jensen stood, waiting for the confirmation.

Through gritted teeth, “Yes – and it was supposed to be a surprise. Now that’s botched.”

“Dylan, I will not cancel everything. And it is still a surprise. Look at your husband. He’s crying for fuck sake.” I spun her around to face him.

Jensen stood, tears rolling down his cheeks, “Why are you crying? Oh god, you aren’t ready for this… I screwed up our life.”

Jensen moved faster than I thought possible, pulling Dylan into his arms, “This is almost as wonderful as the day I found you – my mate. Dylan, how could you possibly think I wouldn’t be happy with this.”

Dylan irrupted into tears, sobbing in Jensen’s arms. Cassandra and Kai joined him, wrapping their arms around her.

“This is the best news ever. I am going to be a grandma,” Cassandra cheered.

They split apart, Jensen hugging Dylan to his body tight, “Carly, are we ready for Saturday? It’s two days away.”

“Yes. Kai,” I turned to her, “Can you help me with the flowers? Carter was supposed to deliver everything tomorrow – but… well, I don’t think he will be up to that.”

“Of course. I am taking over the nursery until he can get on his feet. So, anything you need from now on goes through me.” Kai talked with her hands as she spoke.

“Does Carter know this?” Jensen crooked his eyebrow at his sister.

“Nope – and I don’t care if he agrees. I need him to get better. And worrying about the nursery will not help him heal.”

“Ok then… well, Carly,” Kai turned to me, “text me the info. I’ll get Chris and Joe to bring everything in the morning. I gotta run. Congratulations Dylan… I can’t wait to spoil my niece or nephew.”

“What do you need from me?” Dylan asked.

“Nothing. I have all the help I need. You go and relax. I’ll see you tomorrow night for the rehearsal.”

Turning towards Paul, “Think you could help me some final details?”

“Anything you need…” He took my hand and we said our goodbyes as we walked out of the house.

The next several hours, Paul helped me with the final touches of the wedding. We had created all the needed centerpieces, and got Haven and Roxy to transform the waterfall into a truly magical place. To say I was exhausted was an understatement.

We padded our way up to the bedroom, shucking my clothes and dawning a loose t-shirt, I plopped on the bed. Paul, stood leaned against the closed door.

“Tired?”

“Exhausted… are you joining me?”

He pulled his shirt over his head, stripping his pants off, he crawled into the bed. He pulled me into his arms, the warmth of his skin pressed against me caused the wetness to pool in my panties. He brushed my hair off my neck, exposing the skin to kiss my neck. His warm breath brushed against my ear as he pulled it into his mouth, nibbling and sucking as he did. Arching my back into him, I turned my face, capturing his lips in mine.

“God, I was so stupid to fight this. I promise to make it up to you for the rest of my life, if you’re willing to let me.”

Wiggling my butt against his erect member, “I’ve waited an eternity to feel what I have with you. I’m willing to do anything for you, Paul. I knew the day I met you my heart would belong to no one else. It’s yours… I’m yours.”

He pressed his lips to mine again, drawing a soft moan from me. His hand slipped under my shirt, palming my breast. He shifted against me, his free hand slipping under my panties, finding its way to my wet center. His fingers pressed through my slick folds, drawing a breath out of me. His thumb pressed against my tiny bud, drawing me close to the edge.

“Oh God – please Paul.”

“Please what? Tell me what you want baby.”

“You… always you.”

Paul pulled my panties to the side, slowly guiding himself into my warm center. His hiss of pleasure caused me to buck against him, slowly rocking my hips backward. Our bodies found the rhythm, as he pushed in and out of me. We held onto each other as our pleasure built, his motions became needier. I could feel his length harden more, ready to explode. With one last stroke, he flicked my clit, forcing the screams of pleasure out of me. My center tightened around him as he irrupted inside me. Breathless, we stilled, arms and legs a tangled mess. Together, him still buried deep inside me, we fell asleep. Combined as one, together as one heart and soul.

Paul finally saw the love I had for him. The undying devotion I held onto, certain we’d become one. Finally, all the waiting had paid off. Paul was here, and he was mine. For an eternity he would be willing to show me his faithfulness, and I would show him mine.
