Wolf (A Hell's Lovers MC Romance, #1) by Crimson Syn (3)

CHAPTER THREE
SCARLETT

Ten grand a month!”

My best friend Rahyne, looked at me in shock.

We had gone out for drinks and were seated at a high-top sipping on our long island iced teas. I was telling her about my ordeal and of course, my sexy biker had to be mentioned.

“Girl, that’s insane! With that kind of money you can open up your own firm.”

I sipped on my drink. “You’re telling me? It’s like a dream come true, or maybe a small nightmare, I’m not really sure yet.”

“Yeah, but you did say he was hot, right?”

I nodded. “Hot? Yes. Dangerous? Definitely. I really shouldn’t be doing this. If my mom finds out she’s going to kill me.”

Rahyne shrugged. “Who cares what your mom thinks? If it was for her you’d remain a virgin for the rest of your life.”

“Shhh.” I waved at her to keep it down.

Lowering her voice, she leaned forward. “Take a chance, Scarlett. What you need is a good dicking, and this guy sounds perfect for the job.”

If she only knew.

I shook my head and laughed. “I’m not gonna lie, the thought did cross my mind…several times.”

“So, what’s the problem?”

“I don’t know. I just...I don’t think he wants me in that way.”

“If he doesn’t then he’s gay or fucking blind. You’re fucking beautiful!”

“There just seems to be more to it, that’s all.”

I smiled up at her and sighed. Rahyne had been my best friend since grade school. She was there through the awkward high school years, straight through college, and she was my life support when my father died. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for her, or her for me, and her opinion mattered.

“Maybe you should just prop yourself on his desk and open your legs. That will get him going.”

“Rahyne!” I swatted at her but she leaned out of reach cracking up.

“Oh, don’t even act like you don’t want to.”

“I’m his lawyer, now. He’s my boss!”

“That’s a bull shit excuse. Don’t you have like lawyer client privilege or something?”

“Yeah, so?” I frowned, she wasn’t making any sense.

“So, let him have the privilege of taking your v-card.”

I rolled my eyes and chugged down the rest of the drink. “I’m heading home, I can’t deal with you anymore.”

She continued to laugh as I grabbed my purse. Just as I was halfway out the bar she yelled out. “Say hi to Bob for me!”

I turned around giving her the finger and headed outside. She was referring to the pink vibrator she had gifted me on my birthday last year. I laughed as I walked towards my newly repaired beetle. The car was old, but it got me where I needed to go.

It had been three weeks since I started working for Hell’s Lovers. In those three weeks, I had learned they owned dance clubs, restaurants, and even a few motorcycle repair shops. All they’re dealings were legal. Everything, except for Ravenous.

Wolf had told me I could come by only in the early hours, but my curiosity had peaked. Last night had been my first real experience with Ravenous, and my first unexpected meeting of the Hell’s Lovers. It was also a night I couldn’t get out of my mind.

I had been working on a business deal up in Wolf’s office and time seemed to pass me by. He had asked me to leave by six, but when I looked up it was well past nine in the evening. I looked around the office and stretched my stiff muscles. I poked my head down the hall and that’s when I noticed the beating of the bass, from the DJ down below. A familiar pop song echoed up the stairs, pulling me to its flow. I made my way down the stairs and through a black door. One moment I was in a quiet, professional office, the next I was thrown into a full orgy. Strippers swayed across poles throughout the club, men lined the bar yelling and pounding their fists full of money. I watched as one of the strippers engulfed a man with her butt cheeks, jiggling them in his face. He took a big bite of flesh and she laughed, pushing him away with her heel.

On the opposite side of the dance stages there were private lounges full of women and men in lewd positions. My gaze stopped at Wolf. He was leaning against the bar drinking what looked like a glass of whiskey. He was talking to another similarly gorgeous man. The two men were stunning to look at. One dark and menacing, the other dark and brooding. An image of them both lying naked on my bed, taking me from all angles, had my panties all wet, and I shook the thought away quickly.

Shit. I need a man.

Although both men were delicious I had to admit, Wolf would be more than enough to handle, and he was all I really wanted. Lost in my thoughts I was taken aback when his eyes met mine. They turned an almost navy blue and narrowed in on me. Setting his drink down he made his way towards me. The way he moved made him look like a wolf on the prowl.

God help me, he’s gorgeous.

I took a step back into the shadows as he approached me. His magnetism was too powerful, drawing me in like a moth to a flame.

“What the hell are you doing here?” He asked angrily.

“I was…I…time got away from me. I was working upstairs.”

He grabbed me by the arm and dragged me towards the entrance. “You need to leave.”

I dug my shoes into the floor, stopping short. He glared down at me and I have to admit, fear coursed through my veins. Fear, mixed with a deeper feeling of lust.

“I am an adult, Mr. Stone. You don’t need to throw me out as if I were a criminal.

He ran his hands through his lush locks and stared down at me, exasperated. His voice softened when he looked at me. “I’m not…I’m not throwing you out, but you shouldn’t be here.”

I looked around. “Why not? It’s not like I’ve never seen a strip club before.”

My eyes widened as I saw another man in one of the lounges, strewn across the booth, his jeans down around his ankles as a very naked woman bounced on his lap. I clenched my thighs at the erotic sight and I could feel my blush encompass my face.

Wolf looked over to where I had my eyes set, and cursed. “God dammit. You need to leave. Now!”

He grabbed me by the arm again, and as he was leading me towards the door, the man I had seen before crossed our paths.

“What have you got there, Wolf? A pretty little morsel like that. Have you been hiding her away?” The man eyed me up and down, shamelessly staring at my body.

Wolf yanked him by his leather jacket and propped him up against the wall. “You. Will. Respect. Her.”

The man nodded quickly and raised his hands in quick defeat. “Yes, Sir.”

Wolf let him go and sighed. “Grayson Carter this is Scarlett Chase. She’s our new lawyer. She’s also Ryder’s daughter.”

Grayson’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “Ryder Chase’s daughter! Well, welcome to Ravenous, Miss Chase.” He reached out his hand to me and I quickly shook it, glad for the playfulness in his attitude.

“I’m Vice President to this here establishment and of course, the MC. Unfortunately, Wolf here, forgot to mention we had a new lawyer.”

He glanced over at Wolf. “What the hell did you do to Bryan?”

Wolf shrugged. “He didn’t cut it.”

“He didn’t cut it, or he didn’t cut you?”

“Just, drop it Gray.” I watched as he lowered his gaze to mine and grimaced, looking away. My heart felt like it had been jabbed from the look of disgust he had just given me. I stared at him, but he didn’t meet my eyes.

Grayson cut through my turmoil. “Well, let’s introduce you then, Miss Chase. I’m sure the boys would like to meet you.” Wolf glared at him, but he didn’t say another word and stalked away angrily.

I watched his back as he made his way to the bar once again. Grayson grabbed my hand and guided me to the lounge near the bar. As I passed by Wolf, I noticed his eyes were stuck on the grip Grayson had on my hand, and his jaw was clenched in anger. I tried to let go of Grayson, but he simply smiled over at me and dragged me forward. “Better stay close! Wouldn’t want someone stealing you away!” He yelled back.

My eyes roamed the club and sure enough there were several bikers lying around being coddled, or devoured, by younger females that were either buck naked or half way there. The sights were arousingly vulgar. I could see why Wolf didn’t want me wandering around this scene.

Grayson brought me to a private lounge, black curtains hung at the entrance. He nodded his head at the bulky man that stood by the rope and patted his back as he led me in. I took a quick glance back at Wolf and his heated eyes met mine as he took a swig of amber liquid.

“Boys, I’d like to introduce you to Ryder Chase’s daughter!”

I stood in the middle of discerning looks and gawking jaws. The looks of these guys were menacing at best, but how it was possible that they were all incredibly attractive, was beyond me.

“H…hi.”

“Why, hello there.” The man to my right smiled kindly and reached out a hand. “I’m Cain, Cain Scardino. I’m what you would call a Sargent at Arms.”

I smiled at the large handsome man. “My Dad was a Sargent at Arms.”

He nodded and chuckled, a deep rumble that would melt any girl’s panties. “Damn right he was.”

“I’m Seth! Cain’s younger brother and one of the club’s enforcers.” The green eyed, blonde haired god approached me.

Wow, maybe this is what the Greek gods looked like.

“And I’m Riggs, the Hell’s Lovers Road Captain.” A sexy brunette gave me a sly smile and a firm handshake.

I so needed to bring Rahyne to this club. She’d flip her lid at the sight of these guys.

I gawked up at him, because that was all I could do. Then, one right after the other, they started to introduce themselves. There were six on the executive team in total, seven with Wolf.

They sat me down amongst them and Grayson told them I was their new lawyer. They asked about my family and brought me a drink. We were all laughing and joking when suddenly everyone went still. Following their gaze I met one very angry set of icy blue eyes that were solely focused on me.

“Party’s over.” Wolf stated simply, and all at once, the members quietly started dispersing. Some of them waved at me, others winked, but they all ducked their heads and practically ran out of the room. Grayson stopped before him and patted him on the shoulder.

“Take it easy, man. They have the right to meet her.”

Without looking at him and keeping his eyes on me he lowered his voice. “Get the fuck out. Now!”

Grayson sighed and looked back at me worriedly. Then left us alone. The tension was so thick I could barely breathe.

I stood up and turned to him, but before a word could leave my lips, I was barreled down and roughly pressed against the wall in the far back corner. His grip on my body was strong and he had lifted me up so that I could barely touch the floor. Somehow his knee had propped itself between my legs and my skirt had ridden up, far more than decency allowed. My panty clad core rubbed along the roughness of his jeans and closing my eyes, I moaned.

He gripped me tighter, pushing me down further onto his thigh and I whimpered. On their own accord, my arms gripped his shoulders as my hips rubbed against him.

I felt his breath on my neck, his stubble pricked me sensually, and the feel of his broad chest rubbing against mine made my nipples perk up. I had only known the man a brief few weeks, yet I felt safe in his arms, and completely overwhelmed by the feelings he produced in me. I’d never felt such heated passion, such raw need from someone towards me. I found myself in complete bliss.

“Fuck.” He whispered hoarsely, and he grabbed my hips and picked me up, positioning himself between my thighs. My legs could barely go around him, and they dangled on either side of his forearms as he dragged me along his hard length. My panties were drenched and my body was lit on fire.

“Wolf.” I breathed, dragging my hands along his tussled hair.

I felt the hot slickness of his tongue lick me from the base of my shoulder up along the curve of my neck. He stopped briefly before nipping my earlobe and I nearly came, right then and there.

“You taste so goddamn good.” He whispered.

I gripped his hair and whimpered. “Don’t stop, Wolf. Please, don’t stop.”

My words seemed to snap him out of his trance and he stepped away from me. I glided down the wall and a feeling of emptiness surrounded me as he moved away.

My hands reached for him, but he turned away. I could tell his breathing was labored, and he was just as, or even more affected by this, than I was. I reached out and touched his back and I suddenly found myself pressed once more against the wall. My body arched like a cat in heat, trying to bring every inch of him against me. The movement was futile as he gripped me by the shoulders and half shook me awake from my lust filled moment.

“Stop it. Stop, Scarlett. I won’t be able to do this if you don’t stop.” He pressed his forehead against mine and ran his hands down my arms, gripping my hips. His mouth said one thing, but his hands wouldn’t stop touching me. “Stop. Please.”

My body stilled at his request, but it remained thrumming alongside his.

“Don’t stop, Wolf. Please. Please, don’t do this.”

He dragged his rough jaw against my cheek and breathed in. “I can’t. I just can’t.” He squeezed his eyes shut, almost as if it hurt. He waited a few minutes, his body vibrated against mine, and his hands continued to hold me. “I won’t have you wandering down here. You need to leave.”

“What?” I whispered.

He gripped my waist tightly. “I want you to leave, Scarlett. You don’t belong here!”

I rubbed my hands across the muscles of his chest and his breath hitched. “I don’t want to leave. I want to stay here. With you.”

He growled and leaned his body into mine. “Me too, gorgeous. Oh God, me too.”

He practically pried himself away from me and met my eyes. “But I can’t. I can’t do this to you. I’m not worth it, Scarlett. None of this is.”

“You can’t do what?” I shook my head as he stepped away, but this time I stayed with him, gripping onto his jacket. “Don’t! Don’t pull away. I want this. I want you.”

He looked down at me and smiled sadly. “I want you too.”

He didn’t elaborate on it, he just grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs. He waited until I grabbed my purse and then he led me out to my car.

Closing the door, he leaned in. “Will you be here tomorrow?”

His question sounded more like a plea and my heart softened even more for this man.

“Yes.” I whispered, and leaned over pressing my lips to his cheek. I watched as he closed his eyes and then stepped away.

“Go.”
