Billy opened his eyes and then closed them again quickly against the assault of the bright sun coming in through the blinds. Something soft and warm pressed into him and he suddenly remembered where he was. He fought his eyelids back open and looked down at the beautiful woman in his arms. Joy was lying on her back looking up at him. She had a sleepy, sexy smile on her face.
“Good morning,” she said. “How did you sleep?”
Billy glanced over at the clock on the nightstand. He could hardly believe it when he saw that it was almost eight-thirty. He couldn’t remember the last time that he’d slept all through the night or that late.
“I slept great. Judging by the time, better than I have in a really long time.”
“Me too,” she said, stretching and cuddling into him like a cat. He was tempted to pet her but he still wasn’t sure where the line was between them. The bottom of her shirt had ridden up over the elastic of her pajama bottoms and a sliver of smooth, white skin was showing. He imagined tracing the top of those pants with his tongue.
“What?” she asked.
He grinned. “This one you might not want to know.”
“Would you tell it to any other woman you woke up in bed with?”
Billy laughed softly. He wouldn’t. If he woke up in bed with a woman in the past it would be because they already had sex. At that point he’d just be all over her again or ready to leave. He’d never simply slept with a woman, but he realized that morning what he’d been missing out on. “I was just thinking about how badly I want to kiss that spot of your belly that’s showing.”
“Mm, that sounds like a good idea to me.”
“Really?”
She nodded. “Absolutely.”
Billy slid down in the bed so that his face was parallel to her flat belly. He looked up at her face once more before pressing his lips softly against her warm skin. He held them there for a long time before letting his tongue come out and do what he’d been imagining. He let his tongue trace the top of her pajamas all the way across, stopping again to kiss her belly button. She moaned slightly and the sound went through Billy like an electric current.
“I like that,” she murmured.
“You do?”

She lay with her eyes closed as he used his hands to lift her shirt up over her breasts. “Oh yeah? What are you thinking about?”
“Just how lucky I am again.” She reached up and put her arms around his neck. She used her hold on him to pull herself up and kiss his lips. Her body pressed into his and he could feel her hard nipples against his chest. He groaned and she let out a long, sexy sigh.

She rolled up onto him so that she was lying on his chest. He was still wearing the used condom and he felt another erection beginning to grow as she nuzzled into his neck. They lay there quietly for a long time, feeling each other’s hearts beating and listening to the sounds of their soft, even breaths. Billy reached down and took the elastic band out of her hair and fanned out all that dark silk. She was still leaving and now instead of something more pliable, his heart felt like it was made of glass.
