This Could Be Trouble by RP Fischer (22)

Twenty-Two

Melanie

Days have bled into weeks of work and living a beautiful life. Shane and I have been together a little over a year and it has been the best beginning to our life together. Business trips have come and gone. Contracts have been signed by many clients and I even got a raise during my latest evaluation last week. Today, I treated myself to a pair of black suede booties that have a beige fold over fabric buckles from the ankle to the top of my foot. They're fierce and professional.

Right now, I am wearing them while bent over Shane's home office desk.

I don't think I've ever been this dripping wet in my entire life. My ass is high in the air over the arm of the couch and the anticipation of Shane's cock has my heart beating so fast. I'm panting against the couch cushion, desire ripping out of my skin, and wanting to feel the thick head of his cock push past my entrance. I'm on the verge of begging him to take me.

The warmth of his breath against my ear is doing some delicious things to my body.

"Oh Mel, baby. I see juice running down the inside of your thighs. You're dripping all over. I could slip right inside if I wanted to. "

"Please Shane. Slide in."

My wish is slowly granted inch by stretched inch. I feel every hitch of his scent embedding itself against my skin as we become one. Shane has no problem noticing the goosebumps that have risen over every inch of my body. He sits himself all the way inside until there's no way to tell where one ends and the other begins. I love the feeling of fullness and the entire hum that rings from head to toe.

He pulls out and flips me over so my ass is on the edge of his desk. My legs are wrapped tightly around his waist, my heels digging into his hard as rock ass. Shane's elbows rest right next to my neck and I turn my head to kiss each wrist as he moves back out of my tight channel. Just when I feel the head of his cock leave my entrance, he thrusts his hips right back towards mine. Instinctively, I grab the chair pillow I threw next to my head and clutch it in my grasp as he continues to slowly pull out and dive back in. It's delicious and teasing all at the same time. I need him to go faster.

"Shane. You are torturing me. Fuck me please."

He gives into my begging as I constantly chants to the heavens above. When I come down from my high, I immediately pass out from all of the orgasm exhaustion. I don't even feel Shane carry me upstairs and leave me in bed.

When I finally wake up a few hours later, some of the shoes from my closet seem to have made their way in a line towards Shane's backyard. I follow the little pathway to his patio where two completely different sized boxes lay on the table.

I hear his voice before I see him. "When I was at a stale point in my life, you came barreling in with your take-no-prisoners attitude and super genius intellect to give me a run for my money. You push me to be a better man and to let the world see the man I've missed seeing in the mirror. You drive me crazy with your daily heels moods and I admit to enjoying the Sunday night Hallmark time. If you'd let me, I'd love to spend the rest of my Sundays with you curled up besides and every day in between watching you take the world of law by storm with me by your side."

His arm snakes around my body and grabs the small box off of the table. I'm speechless as he bends down to one knee.

"Melanie Cromwell, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

My hands fly to my mouth as Shane opens up the box to showcase a stunning square cut diamond over a simple silver band. Tears stream down my face as I nod over and over. I somehow manage to sob out a "yes" over and over.

He stands up and grabs my tear soaked left hand to slip the ring onto my finger. He kisses me and we end up back in bed, making love for the first time as an engaged couple.

ONE YEAR LATER

The wedding was a toss up between a winter white wonderland in Vermont or springtime at his family's farm in Tennessee. In the end, the city where we fell in love is where we decided to get married. As much as we wanted to keep the wedding strictly family and friends only, there were a lot of our colleagues that we ended up inviting, rounding the number to almost three hundred guests. We ended up finding a ballroom in a museum that was elegant and homey all at the same time. Logan served as best man while Beth was my matron of honor. We made sure to hire a wedding planner because with my perfectionism, there was no way in hell I wasn't going to turn into Bridezilla. I was more worried about finding the perfect wedding heels more than my dress, but once I found my ivory pumps with lace overlay and silk bow at the heel, everything else fell into place.

I got Shane a little grooms cake with a tractor on it to mess with his farming roots and he got me another pair of heels but with "my forever love" embroidered across the side of the arch of the heel.

I barely remember the actual day because of how many people were there and how emotional everything was. I do remember my friends and family loving every moment, which is all that really matter. I remembered laughter and friendship.

And I remember thinking that life couldn't get any better than this.

I was wrong, but in the best possible way. The honeymoon and every day after that made my life perfect.

TWO YEARS LATER

So this is what all the sex has gotten me.

We've been sitting at this doctor's office for my ultrasound because I wouldn't stop throwing up for a week and Shane was starting to freak out. A month later we're on our second appointment and the doctor has now heard an extra heartbeat.

Pregnant with twins.

Fuck my life.

Dammit that gene that runs in my family.

I smack his chest. "Seriously, Shane. Do you realize I can't wear my favorite stilettos when I'm super pregnant with not one, but TWO of your babies? How my great grandmother dealt with twins is beyond me. Damn twin gene skipping generations. I'm gonna have to wear flats."

He wraps me in his arms while I'm wearing this ugly hospital gown. "Mel. I'm more than excited that the gene skipped to you. More of you running around this world is exactly what we all need. Besides, flats aren't that bad. I'm sure we can find some that meet your unique qualities."

"Cram that romantic sarcasm up your buns of steel Mr. Thompson. You're gonna have to rub my feet for me a lot, I hope you understand that. Flats or no flats, these puppies are getting pampered."

He plays with my hair and kisses my forehead. "Baby, I'd gladly rub any part of you. Pregnant or not, I love touching you everywhere and anywhere."

My eyes start watering. Fucking hormones. "Aaah crap. No wonder I'm pregnant. You keep saying sexy shit like that and a third baby might just pop out."

"Then a third baby it is. As long as they have your personality."

I scoff. "If they have your dimples and my personality, we're gonna get a lot of phone calls from their school for being little terrors."

He just brushes me off. "Nah. They'll inherit our amazing negotiation skills and run their schools. Even if neither of them end up being lawyers."

Our children, Camille and Zach, are born healthy and screaming at the top of their lungs. Little terrors is the least of my worries as I hold them in my arms for the first time. Shane has had tears in his eyes since the first scream

I can't wait to watch them grow into beautiful humans.

My life is so much more than I could have ever asked for and I wouldn't change a single second of it.
